Rambling,,, (trauma dumping for my OCs):
Amias objectively has a worse situation than Ordell but is still thoughtful and emphatic to others,,,such a silly guy!!! And Ordell just became a bitch 😭
But also they're going through different things. Amias has past experience with trauma, like seeing his mom DEAD 😭, BEING ORPHANED, BEING EXPERIMENTED ON, AND HAVING TO RUN AWAY FROM A DEADLY MULTIMILLION DOLLAR COMPANY WITH A PARASITE IN HIM SINCE HE WAS A CHILD, so he learnt his own way of coping and appearing positive and nice to others since he understands that things can get BAD. And even now he's still going through things, like the parasite inside him awakening and him needing to join BCED. Amias is actively trying to get better but things just keep happening to him
While Ordell is just at the beginning of his experiences. Being forced to drop out of his dream school cus of low funds, convinced to join a dangerous organisation (bced) to have a chance at working in the field he wants, having the weight of responsibility crush him as he tries to figure out the cause of the outbreak ALONE since no one else believes his theories even when they're heavily backed with evidence,,, bro is going through it and his more logical thinking believes that shoving all his emotions away is the right way to go so he can focus on work. He also doesn't want to entertain anyone else's feelings and seems very apathetic cus to him it's a "waste of time"
He eventually does open up to ONLY Amias cus Amias is genuinely genuine 😭 and bro can't bottle his feelings forever

Dumb oc stuff/rambling, just wanna put my thoughts down somewhere cus my Google docs are starting to get filled!!!:
I'm at a stage where I'm hovering around a dangerously vague plotline for my OCs so like idk what to draw other than casual interactions ☠️
LIKEE!!! WHAT THE EFF, it went from zombies and death and gross parasites to silly city living. It's kinda weird cus wow super dangerous zombie outbreak happening elsewhere in the world and bro is just chilling in NYC 😭
I still rly wanna explore how Amias tackles normal life while having that dormant parasite in him,,,he got that dawg in him!!Also still like the whole giant net of conspiracy idea, I need to refine it a bit more cus even I don't know what's going on in this conspiracy and more science research stuff,,, and Ordell being sad dropout trying to do the work that others don't want to. also wanna refine the ideas .I also low-key forgot most of the lore I set down early on LMFOAOO.
-BCED ran by Viktor wong and used to cover up his secret research
-viktor Wong also head of PAS-RESEARCH (main antagonist)
- outbreaks happen at research facilities, Viktor sends BCED to clear outbreaks to clean up his own mess. Members of BCED are unaware that he's behind the outbreaks too
-Two diff research is happening, one is advocating for the parasite and is under secret supervision and the other is trying to stop it and is under government supervision. Ordell is part of neither but he has history in researching so he unwarrantedly seeks out his friend who has the resources and uses those to try to figure things out himself
-Amias and Ordell part of BCED, they're unaware that they are being used. However, they take advantage of their jobs and find info when they're sent to abandoned research facilities
-Amias has had a parasite in him since he was a child as a consequence after his mother was punished for leaking information about PAS-RESEARCH, he was experimented on and his mother was executed. Amias escapes and they can't find him even after all those years. He would forget that he has a parasite in him later in his years but it'll "reactivate" when a specific situation happens. Not rly sure about his upbringing and how he managed to survive but I'll think abt that next time
-Ordell joined BCED to earn money and thought he could fight for a cause against the outbreak. Since he dropped out early after not having enough money to continue his pHD studies.
-Amias joined BCED cus he needed that money and no other jobs were accepting him. And maybe cus he has a vague memory of his mother.
