The Ritual of Lomei Labyrinth

A vast labyrinth stretches under the ancient kingdom of Lomei. It is said that this labyrinth serves as the prison for a terrible monster known only as the Calamity. Every seventeen years, a sacrifice is performed in order to appease the monster. As the day of the ritual draws near, a young soldier named Link volunteers himself as the sacrifice, secretly hoping that he will be the one to put an end to the Calamity. It is tradition for the princess of Lomei to lead the sacrifice underground, a ritual for which Zelda has trained her entire life. Inspired by Link’s courage, she dares to reveal a hidden secret of the labyrinth that may save them both – as well as the monster trapped within a maze of deceit.

PANDORA HEARTS

Favorite character: ugh it’s SO HARD, but I’ll go with the Main Trio, because they are soft and give me warm feelings! I love how all of them are struggling with memory loss and trauma, and how differently they fight it. They aren’t perfect, but they mean so much. Honorable mentions are Vincent and Lacie, far more problematic characters. but also the ones I relate to the most in some weird way.

Least Favorite character: Idk, like, Miranda? I still don’t get why she wanted Oswald’s head?? was she just real crazy??? that it?????

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Oswald/Jack (husbands!), Elliot/Leo (boyfriends!!), Oz/Gilbert (lovers... not in the part where Oz is 15 though. I’m generally keeping an opinion that Oz is an eldritch bunny monster so age doesn’t matter that much in his case, but before he regains his memories even he doesn’t know that. Gilbert definitely doesn’t, and he’d never go for it with a 15yo), Break/Reim (soft!!) aaaand, ugh, Ada/Vanessa (softer!!!!)

Character I find most attractive: ♥Lacie♥ And then after Lacie... Fang!!! Don’t @ me, he’s big and gentle and wields a giant sword, I don’t ask for much in a man. (but also Lacie is like, holy shit, the whole new lvl)

Character I would marry: honestly, Lacie would make a great wife for me because she doesn’t like to be controlled and I don’t like controlling people! This union would probably fuck up my sleep schedule and impulse control, but I’m willing to give it up.  Lacie looks like someone you can just... enjoy the world with, together. Isn’t it a thing to live for?

Character I would be best friends with: probably, like, Lotti? (she’s really cool and we would gossip and bitch about every single one of people we know) 

a random thought: well it’s about Lacie again: I think it’s funny how the manga builds her up. By the time she actually shows up she’s, like, a legend. A secret. A mystery. And it makes her great, but it also kinda fucks her character over (I think it was to keep the mystery and panache that author gave her so many contradictory actions, like developing an empathetic relationship with the formless core of the abyss, but then having her rip human into pieces without second thought and dancing in bloody rain)

An unpopular opinion: Victorian England aestetic? ...way overrated. I know I was all over this shit when I was 13 but now, ugh

My Canon OTP: Jack/Oswald, Elliot/Leo... jokes aside, canon pairings are kinda eh

My Non-canon OTP: look above but also specifically post-canon Gil/Oz/Alice. They have such a great dynamic, I swear, and just re-imagining them in more modern times is so much fuuuun

Most Badass Character: Gilbert. 

Most Epic Villain: Jack (Juries were pretty rad too, esp. theme-wise, but Jack’s betrayal was just so visceral) 

Pairing I am not a fan of: Break/Sharon

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): the female ones :) (like I’m sorry to say it because a lot of female characters are powerful and cool and have great potential, but their arks just fall flat next to the male character arks. the only exceptions I can think of are Alice and Echo)

Favourite Friendship: Gil and Oz and Alice! But also entire Baskerville family! 

Character I most identify with: probably Alice? I too can be pretty rude and aggressive and absent, but also I’m really emotionally intelligent and honest? I was surprised to recognize this in her, too, but also pleased

Character I wish I could be: Rufus Barma. Reading books... Pretending he’s a weird baloon man... Pining after a more successful woman for decades... dude’s living the life!

Now FENRIS (but I’ll try to keep it short!)

How I feel about this character: he’s great! I think he stands for very important topics, my fave being relationship to the kind of people who traumatized you. Not, like, the person, but the people. This extrapolation happens a lot in real life, and I don’t see it addressed enough in media? I also like that his personal ark (best case scenario) doesn’t end in just learning to see a person beyond just being a mage or not, or just in a death of his former master, or in acceptance of mages as a whole. He actually goes and fights the problematic people. Physically. What an icon! 

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: mostly just Hawke

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: w Isabella! I don’t think they can really develop romantic thing, but their friendship (even with benefits) is so sweet!

My unpopular opinion about this character: ...I honestly don’t know what’s popular, and feel like a grandma about it

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: better relationship with Anders, duh. Like, I know I just said his hatred for mages is kinda cool narrative-wise. But hanging out with someone for 6 years and not being able to empathize with them even a little? really? it just paints them both as really unreasonable. also the constant bickering is kinda annoying. 

Favorite friendship for this character: Bella! but also, you know, the whole Hawke-crew is one big family and I live for that

Got another saucy @benveydraws commission of Aeryn & Thancred. Got this idea awhile ago, and there’s a brief, unpolished scene blurb to go with it, but I’ll put the words and full image below the read more cut as sexy times happens, making it not safe for certain places.

Aeryn practically snarled as she dropped her boots to the floor and began to pace. “That could have been disastrous.”

“Well it wasn’t,” Thancred answered, setting his gunblade and ammo belts on the table next to her weapons before shucking his coat. “Diplomacy won the day. You’re being too hard on yourself.”

“I should have known better,” she said, stalking over to help him remove his chestplate.

“And we’ll know better next time,” he said, catching her arms as soon as his own were free. “You need to calm down.”

“Make me,” she challenged, levin snapping in her stormy grey eyes.

It was his turn to growl, pushing her back against the wall while claiming her lips with a rough kiss. Her hands tugged at his clothes, but he was nimbler, undoing her jacket and shirt buttons to shove the fabric off her shoulders before relenting to her insistent tugging to pull his shirt over his head, the garment flung somewhere.

Thancred raked his teeth along her neck while his hands slid over her bare skin, squeezing her breasts in their skewed band before moving lower. She craned her neck for him, her nails scratching over his own skin, drawing more feral noises from him.

The unreleased adrenaline from the earlier confrontation compelled them both, relief in not having actually fought--yet needing to expend that tension.

His hands found her belt and the fastens of her pants, fingers almost fumbling in his eagerness. He had to get them off her, had to release the heady scent of her arousal, feel her heat, and gods she was already wet…

She muffled an already soft cry by biting just below his shoulder as he drug his fingers along her folds, circling her clit, reveling in the sensation of how needful for him she was. Her own hands were not idle, his belt and pants opened, smalls thrust aside, and he groaned against her hair as she stroked him, her grip firm and pace swift.

He grabbed Aeryn’s wrist, forcing it up and against the wall. Thancred scooped his other arm beneath her rear, and she hopped up in response to his lift, her long, lovely legs wrapping tightly around him, pants still hanging off her right calf. Her other hand reached between them now, guiding him into her, both of them moaning as he breached her entrance and sunk into her eager depths.

Time lost meaning as they rocked together, pace swift and bruisingly hard. Her nails raked his back as she panted his name, writhing against him, chasing the bliss he offered. His own grip on her was strong enough to leave bruising impressions, proof of his claim on her, and as her walls clenched and fluttered around his shaft, drawing his release soon after hers, he left another mark, muffling his shout of passion by biting that juncture between neck and shoulder.

They leaned against the wall, sweaty and breathing heavily, as time became noticeable again. Thancred was aware of a little sound and shiver from her, then another, and he grinned as he realized she was giggling. He rested his forehead against hers.

“Better?” He asked, letting go of her wrist to brush back damp strands of hair, playing with her loosened midnight tresses. Her giggles were infectious, and he was starting to chuckle himself.

“Much,” she replied, running her fingers through his hair, her other hand smoothing over his shoulder. Her cheeks were darkened by her usual blush, as if the giggling were more embarrassing than their feral coupling.

“Always happy to render aid,” he teased, stroking her cheek with his thumb. That elicited more blushing and more giggling, and if he wasn’t going to ache already he would have liked to stay just this way indefinitely. Instead, he asked, “and shall we finish undressing and continue this in bed?”

She leaned in to kiss him, and there was still a fire crackling through her and into him, promising to swiftly rouse him once more. “Let’s,” she whispered fiercely.

He grinned, kissing the tip of her nose before letting her down, leaving a slap on her firm rear to see her squeak and jump, laughing over her shoulder at him. The storm had dissipated for now, leaving behind something no less intense but far more pleasant to manage.

And as she dropped her remaining clothes on her way to his bed, oh, how he very much wanted to manage, removing the rest of his own clothes to follow her.
