I feel like the reason why people are pointing to JM akgaes is because there are more people in the current process of becoming JM akgaes, because the breaking point for a bunch of superbiased Jimin-biased Jikookers was the Face v. 7 comparison. Felt like this 'turnover' point for KTH akgaes from Tkkrs was 2017-18. The mistreatment rhetoric was everywhere and even today the Burn the Stage documentary is the holy grail of mistreatment for KTHs.

I wanted to ask you, BPP, what do you make of V's reduced streaming numbers in USA? I was surprised. Does this represent Army's true power with JM / JK's numbers being an additional cherry on top (or whole sundae on top) because of GP / casuals / solos ; or is this a sign of the 'split focus' so-called OT7s with a bias towards members who are central to BTS' image in the USA; or have KTHs done permanent damage to goodwill among Army?

I know you're not V biased but if you have a breakdown to offer I would be greatly interested. (Vminimin bias here).

Ngl, this reminds me of the discourse about the difference in streaming performance between JITB and Indigo, where RM's streaming numbers were more than Hobi's in the US (and globally). Hobi akgaes thought it was weird considering Hobi had just done Lollapalooza and had a huge turnout. Just like back then, people discounted just how much the fandom shows that everyone here really just does what they want, how people's music preferences show up in their streaming habits, and they aren't coerced to stream like mindless orangutans in the fandom. Tae's album, just like Hobi's album, is really good, but it's also not in a genre a lot of people find accessible, very enjoyable, and can withstand streaming incessantly.

Look at the difference in streams between Yet to Come and RUN BTS.

All that aside, my perception is that the maknae-line have many people who bias them from the USA, but far as I can tell, Jimin has the most dedicated fans in the US, UK and Korea + Japan; Jungkook in the US, India, France and Japan; and Taehyung in China, SEA, and to a lesser degree, Japan and the US. I recall I've seen a few surveys here and there a few years ago (before 2019) that showed popularity rankings in various regions, but those rankings are no longer reliable as they've been gamed to hell by akgaes (usually Taehyung solos based on the instances and call-outs I've seen).

So, coupled with the fact not a lot of people care to constantly stream V's sleepy, vibey, but admittedly tasteful album because it's not their taste, it's also possible Taehyung has fewer heavily-biased fans in the US to compulsively stream his album, compared to Jimin or Jungkook. The fact any of the members show up on the charts at all is because of OT7 ARMYs, who have the absolute numbers to place the members high enough to chart even if each ARMY only contributes a handful of streams. Any group of akgaes who have been trying and failing to rechart on the most exclusive charts will tell you the same thing. It's literally a numbers game and ARMYs simply have the numbers.

Those who are biased generally push for the members they bias more, other factors like the genre and listenability of the song influences how the wider fandom responds, and the core of the fandom remains OT7 ARMYs who push each project in any case, and are the reason any of these projects can get those sort of recognitions to begin with.

These aren't comparisons that matter to me for any member, not for my biases and not for the maknae-line, because I do think they're unhelpful, generally very reductive, and only serve the purpose of inflating the egos of various akgaes who weaponize this data to show other members in the group are less deserving of their accomplishments and/or any support those members receive.

It's not like Tae's doing bad either lol.

Part 1/2 of my Harry's break post

This is kind of relevant to my next post so just take a read through if you want. Also this is just my opinion based on what Harry's said/what we've witnessed. Please don't get your panties in a twist. I'm just trying to make a point which will become clear in a little bit - I promise.

Also my timeline might not be exact so bear with me.

Imagine yourself in Harry's shoes:

At the age of 16, when you're still young and maturing, you audition for the X-Factor and make it through. You leave your seemingly ordinary life behind and pursue singing on the reality show. Long story short, you're thrown into a band with 4 other people and your popularity sky rockets. You never go home to your ordinary life.

From the time you're 16 until you're 21, you're on the road constantly. You record an album, go on a world tour, write and record another album while you're on tour, do promo when you get off tour, and repeat the cycle 4 or 5 more times.

You're now 22 years old and you finally got out of your contract. You immediately sign to a new record label and management with your friend, Jeff, who has been whispering in your ear for at least a couple of years now. You can finally begin your solo career.

It feels good to be on your own but you're a little more nervous than you thought you'd be. You spend a lot of time writing and re-writing music (making sure it's "perfect") and decide to take on your first acting role. It's probably a lot of stress. You sit by yourself at lunch on set. You go home and write. You're multitasking two completely different, and somewhat new, things.

Your first solo album comes out in May 2017. Your first movie comes out in July 2017. You haven't had much time to breathe between promo and planning your first solo tour but you're excited. Reception has been positive.

You open your first solo tour at age 23 in September 2017 to an audience of 3,188. Things are going well. You begin to write your second album and decide you don't want to play things as safe as the first album. You start working more with a team and building your brand. Your last concert is July 14, 2018.

Now you have a little time off but you decide to fill it up. You continue writing your second album and have plans for its release. You go to Japan for a little. You induct Stevie Nicks into the RRHOF. You host the Met. You go to the Gucci Cruise fashion show. You play dodgeball on the Late Late Show. You become the face of Gucci Memoire. Your off year really isn't an off year and before you know it, you're promoting your second album.

Fine Line is a whole other ballpark than your first album. You do way more promo, your fame and success as a solo artist rises dramatically, you're planning your second world tour, you have A LOT going on...and then Covid hits and everything halts. You don't know what to do. You huddle up at home - then with friends - for a bit and start to work on your third album because you can't sit still. You film a couple music videos. And then you decide you have time to take on 2 new acting roles.

Don't Worry Darling throws you into a circus you didn't think you were signing up for. Suddenly your face is plastered everywhere and people are more interested in your sex life (again - something you've been accustomed to since you were a teenager). You're on the verge of overexposure.

You go on to win your first Grammy and open up the show. You film My Policeman. You win a Brit award. And then FINALLY you are able to go on your much anticipated tour.

You're 27 when you finally start your second tour in the USA on September 4, 2021 to an audience of 13,413. It's just the USA for right now due to Covid's rules. You really want to tour though so you decide to go for it and you'll figure out the rest as it falls into place.

You tour Fine Line in the USA until November and then you begin promo for your third album, which comes out May 2022. It's not much of a break before the next leg of your tour which starts in June 2022.

From June 2022 - July 2023 you are touring pretty much nonstop. You also win a couple more Grammys and Brit Awards (as well as others). You're incredibly successful and busy. Your longest break is a little bit over month which is nothing compared to how long you've just been traveling. But you don't mind because you love it. You said yourself performing is your favorite thing to do.

But then it ends. Your busy streak comes to a close and your tour, perhaps one of the only places where you can just let lose and enjoy yourself completely, ends. Your last concert is when you're 29 to an audience of more than 100,000 I believe. You realize you've created a family and people really do love you.

I don't know what Harry has planned next but I think it's possible he doesn't have a concrete plan like he's had before, hence his emotional exit. Because at the end of the day, after EVERYTHING has finally come to an end, he's met with silence and it's probably 10x louder than anything he's ever felt before. It's something we can't quite comprehend.

Social FYI post: Kakaopage

So I see on various social media spaces the immense hatred of KKP lately, because their anti-piracy task force, P.cok is going around and throwing DMCAs at scanlation and translation groups. There's been more anger towards them lately because every time a series is axed or unexpectedly cancelled, western readers have a tendency to blame everything on kakaopage.

So this is an information post!

Misinformation: KKP axes series Answer: The publisher axes series Kakaopage is an online distributor, not a publisher (although they do have some shares/involvement in some series) and are for the most part, an online platform to share content. They're a platform that allows anyone, from novices to big publishing houses to post their content in an easy and accessible way. Other such platforms include Naver or Ridi.

To give an example, Kakaopage is like Amazon, or Barnes and Nobles (USA bookstore), or even wattpad. They host a ton of stuff, but don't necessarily own it. Back in 2017, it was reported that for all content sold, the revenue is shared between Google Play (30 %), Kakao (20 %), and the publisher (50 %). The publisher then distributes those profits to the manhwa teams.

As part of their agreements with various publishers, the p.cok anti-piracy task force was created to stop piracy and illegal distribution. Their intent is purely to keep things to the official sources, to make sure the publishers (like DAON, D&C, Carrotoon etc) get paid to pass on to the manhwa teams.

As such, over the past few years, Kakaopage has invested tremendously in legal ways to read their stories in various countries:

Korea

China (Podo, Lehzin)

USA or "english speaking countries" (Tapas, Tappytoon, Radish, Webtoon, manta etc)

Indonesia (KKP indonesia)

Japan (Piccoma)

Thailand

Tappy France

etc Misinformation: Kakaopage doesn't care about your language/country Answer: Slight truth, but the more accurate answer is "the publishers don't care about your language/country" As one might notice, this isn't a very comprehensive list of countries. That's the point. Kakaopage and the Korean publishers don't care about their readers in low-readership countries (or continents) like South America, Africa, the middle east, India, Vietnam, or the Phillipines. Because simply, it's too much to invest in countries/languages that won't have high enough readership. So they focus on the "richer" countries to invest in, with translations and localization. They literally do not care about readers not in their list of localization/countries, as these readers would not pay for their services in the first place. Capitalist societies do not want their products out there for free, and that's what piracy is - people reading for free when they could be paying to support the original authors. Misinformation: Supporting officially is expensive!! Answer: Not really When you break it down, not really. on the KKP app, if you want to rent a chapter for 72 hrs, it's 200 coins. If you want to permanently buy a chapter "collect", it's 500 coins. 5000 coins = $4 on the app store 10000 coins = $9 on the app store, etc. Basically, if you want to collect a chapter, with the lowest tier = 5000 coins = 10 chapters = $4 ----> 25 cents per chapter. If you purchase on Tappytoon, I believe it comes out to about 35 cents per chapter If you purchase on Tapas, I heard it's around 30-40 cents per chapter? back to KKP: Now, as each chapter is 25 cents, imagine how that's distributed: 12.5 cents to the publisher, and 5 cents to KKP to host it. For each YM chapter purchased on KKP, which costs a reader 25 cents, DAON Entertainment gets 12.5 cents to split amongst Hayeonnim, Hyeyongnim, and the other staff. Yikes. For a 100 chapter series --> $25 to read it on kakaopage --> $12.5 goes to DAON to distribute to the manhwa team. That's not much per person. If we're lucky to get a physical release, I believe it's about $10 USD for 12 chapters for the YM physicals in KR. For Villains are Destined to Die, or Stepmothers Marchen, who have physical ENG releases, someone told me it's about $15 for 6-8 chapters (needs verification) Back to the webtoons: imagine, 100 people read 100 chapters on aggregate sites instead of one of the official routes: Hayeonnim and Hyeyongnim have already lost $1,250 in royalties/income from the series. from bato alone i see a chapter can have about 55K views. I'm not sure how to translate "views" to "readers", so lets arbitrarily say each chapter is read by 10,000 people internationally who for whatever reason, don't read officially. So 10,000 readers x 100 chapters at 0.12 cents each = loss of $125,000 of income for the manhwa teams for a series with 3 seasons released. Bottom line is, if you can support and want to support, it would be a good idea to. No one's forcing you to, but think of your favorite authors and artists ---!

Since its founding in the 1970s, the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) has been a chance to take the temperature of Republican politics. In recent years, that’s looked increasingly fevered, with the Donald Trump wing of the party taking center stage. This year, for instance, a far-right figure named Jack Posobiec called for “the end of democracy” during a panel led by former Trump White House advisor Steve Bannon. But it’s also taking a surprisingly internationalist turn for a group whose theme this year was “Where Globalism Goes to Die.”

A Hungarian branch of the conference was founded in 2020, where Prime Minister Viktor Orban, perhaps inevitably, always seems to be the keynote speaker. In 2023, CPAC Brasil launched as well. Between 2017 and 2019, CPAC events also launched in Australia, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea. This year’s Hungarian CPAC, to be held in April, is expected to focus heavily on elections both in the United States and across Europe.

But the American event itself is the main chance for authoritarians and nationalists everywhere to shine. Drawing thousands of attendees each year, from lobbyists to party functionaries to conservative media stars, nearly every Republican presidential candidate was once expected to make a stop at CPAC, although Trump’s ascendancy has cooled some of them on the prospect. A straw poll taken at the event is used as a barometer to try to judge who the conservative base is likely to vote for in the Republican presidential primaries (a foregone conclusion this year) and for the vice presidency (a tie this year between South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and biotech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy.)

The conference has become an obligatory stop for international political figures, either looking to make inroads with the American right—and prepare for the benefits of closeness to a future Trump administration—or to float a new career built on American money after they crash and burn at home. At this year’s event, held as usual in a hotel in National Harbor, Maryland, political figures from right-wing populist movements across the world worked the room and preached from the stage. They included two sitting presidents: Argentina’s Javier Milei and El Salvador’s Nayib Bukele.

In turn, as CPAC has made clear, it is also seeking to draw international influences into U.S. politics. The conference even hosted an “international summit” before the main event, attended by the global leaders and Bannon, the former Trump advisor, for some reason. CPAC added in a tweet that it looked forward to hearing “more international conservative leaders throughout the week on the best practices to beat socialism, Marxism and globalism.”

CPAC itself may have bigger problems than Marxists. Its brand has been tarnished as Matt Schlapp, the head of the American Conservative Union, which hosts the event, fends off a series of high-profile sexual misconduct lawsuits. And neither Fox News or Turning Point USA were in attendance, once large sponsors. As NBC’s Ben Goggin reported, a number of racist extremists were freely wandering the halls this year, while in the past people espousing openly white supremacist views were ejected.

But for those ambitious foreign politicians looking to join, CPAC remains an essential stop. The international politicians this year stressed U.S. right wing-friendly talking points on the dangers of socialism, mass migration, leftism of various kinds, and “wokeness,” and, to scattered rounds of applause, often described America under President Joe Biden as a dangerous, post-apocalyptic, fentanyl-soaked hellscape. The end goal for those speakers who hold international office was clear: to get close to Republican power players—and possibly the once and future president himself—in preparation for a possible second Trump administration.

But the speakers from abroad included people whose political futures are somewhat unsettled, like CPAC veteran and Brexit advocate Nigel Farage, who appeared early on to promote a nonspecific message of unity, victory, and transborder fealty to the populist movement. There, the idea seemed to be to bulk up their own profile—and to appeal to a well-funded American conservative movement.

Praising the event’s international flair, Farage told the room, “It feels like the Atlantic just got a little bit narrower.” He then embarked on a long recap of the 2023 incident in which Coutts bank closed his account. He claimed this had happened due to his political views, although an independent review in December found no evidence that was the case.

“They picked on the wrong bloke, didn’t they?” Farage declared. This he tied, somehow, with the long moral arc of the universe: “In the end, although it might take time, good always triumphs over evil.”

Farage, too, noted that when he first attended CPAC a decade ago, he was “the only foreign-born speaker” on the platform. “Look at it today,” he added. “Quite extraordinary.” He noted that he’d met delegates and elected officials at the event from Hungary, Poland, Romania, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, France, and Germany. He closed by declaring a need for “strong leaders,” adding, “We need Trump back in the White House.”

Trumpism underpinned the other international speakers and the conference at large, but it didn’t always come with direct endorsements of the ex-president himself. Brief-serving U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss—who, as Politico noted, spoke to a half-empty room, although that’s not unusual at CPAC—did not explicitly endorse Trump but echoed many of his talking points, telling the crowd that Biden was “asleep at the wheel in the White House” and told Farage in a separate conversation that Biden needed to be “kicked out.” (Contrast that with Orban’s CPAC speech last year, where he claimed that Trump would have prevented the war in Ukraine, had he been in office, and beseeched Trump to “come back and bring us peace.”)

Given that Trump is deeply unpopular in the United Kingdom, these remarks—and Truss’s appearance at CPAC in general—don’t seem designed to revive her political career at home. In fact, it could seriously sabotage it. Her remarks at CPAC prompted a call for censure from the opposition Labour Party. Its chair asked Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to remove the whip for Truss, which would essentially expel her from the Conservative Party, and she was surrounded by journalists asking if she would apologize upon her return to the UK. It doesn’t help that the Tories are mired in a wider series of Islamophobia and homophobia scandals, with another member of Parliament recently suspended.

Truss may be aiming for a new career in the states. Truss blamed the “deep state” for sabotaging her brief time as prime minister and used other language that would appeal to America’s far right, stressing many times that conservatives needed to regain power to “save the West.” (She has also been flogging a forthcoming book, Ten Years to Save the West, which she urged people in the audience to pre-order.) Besides making the rounds at CPAC, she’s made appearances at the Heritage Foundation, another powerful group in U.S. conservative politics.

When Bukele, El Salvador’s president, spoke, he focused heavily on ideas of hidden forces working to undermine the United States. It was, like Truss, a speech that reflected a sort of global anti-globalism, a clear nod to international conspiracy theories about the deep state, hidden hands, and worldwide cabals.

“The next president of the United States must not only win an election, he must have the vision, the will, and the courage to do whatever it takes, and above all, he must be able to identify the underlying forces that will conspire against him,” Bukele told the crowd. “These dark forces are already taking over your country. You may not see it yet, but it’s already happening.” He then claimed that “unscrupulous terrorists” in El Salvador had “performed satanic rituals,” positing this as something the United States needed to avoid. He pointed at “Baltimore, Portland, and New York” as places where “crime and drugs have become the daily norm.”

Bukele’s half-trolling public image is built around wild claims and a Trumpist insistence that he is a national savior. In contrast, Milei, Argentina’s president, seemed determined to play against his self-created “wildman with a chainsaw” persona. When he took the stage, he focused on a lengthy and dryly delivered series of disconnected ideas, including how “socialist intervention destroys the economy.”

That matches Milei’s own swing toward a more moderate approach in office than he preached on the campaign trail. But he also promulgated conspiracy theories about the “murderous” abortion agenda and the “Marxist agenda” of a belief in climate change. And he, too, was ultimately there under a broad umbrella of Trumpism: He and Trump exchanged “an ecstatic hug” backstage, according to the Associated Press.

All of this, of course, is a bet on Trump’s second term. The politicians and former politicians who traveled from abroad to CPAC are guessing that his reelection is nigh, and that it’s time—no matter how incendiary the language or strong the censure at home—to strengthen a relationship with what they reckon is the past and future face of power in the United States.

USA signals return of Turkey in the F-35 program

The United States is signaling the possibility of Turkey returning to the F-35 program, as long as the issue of the Russian S-400 anti-aircraft defense system is resolved.

During an exclusive interview with the Turkish media, Acting Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland revealed that the U.S. is open to Turkey's reintegration into the F-35 fighter program, subject to the resolution of the controversy related to the Turkish acquisition of Russia's S-400 anti-aircraft defense system.

Nuland recognized the complexity of the diplomacy involved, stating: "We were in the process of negotiating the sale of the Patriot missile system, and while these negotiations were underway, Turkey went down another path." She emphasized that the resolution of the S-400 issue is a precondition for Turkey's reintegration into the F-35 family, emphasizing the importance of ensuring the maintenance of a solid air defense capability by Turkey.

The statement was made during Nuland's visit to Turkey on Sunday, with the main objective of "reinvigorating" the ties between the two nations. The delicate balance between addressing security concerns and promoting collaboration served as a backdrop for their discussions.

“Obviously, if we can solve this issue of the S-400, which we would like to do, the US would be delighted to receive [Turkey] back to the F-35 family. But we have to solve this other issue first,” Nuland told Turkish television CNNTurk on Monday.

The visit takes place a few days after Ankara ratified Sweden's accession to NATO and Washington approved the sale of F-16 fighters to the Turkish military.

Nuland addressed the ongoing approval process in Congress for the acquisition of U.S.-made F-16 fighters and modernization kits, highlighting efforts to persuade lawmakers. She emphasized the importance of Turkey's development of the F-16 fleet for the safety of the United States and argued that Turkey's active participation is crucial for an equitable distribution of the burden among allies.

As diplomatic efforts intensify, Turkey's potential return to the F-35 program remains dependent on the successful resolution of the S-400 issue, reflecting the intricate interaction between security considerations and strategic partnerships.

But the acquisition of the F-35 may be more complex. Turkey was expelled from the consortium that manufactures the new generation of F-35 poacher fighters in 2020, under the Anti-Adversaries of America Act through Sanctions (CAATSA), after acquiring Russia's S-400 anti-missile defense system. CAATSA was approved by an overwhelming majority by Congress in 2017 and introduces sanctions on any significant transactions with Russia.

Our first author profile for Writer’s in Horror Month 2023 is Maurice Level.

Maurice Level (29 August 1875 – 15 April 1926) was a French writer of fiction and drama who specialized in short stories of the macabre which were printed regularly in the columns of Paris newspapers and sometimes staged by le Théâtre du Grand-Guignol, the repertory company in Paris's Pigalle district devoted to melodramatic productions which emphasized blood and gore.

Many of Level's stories have been translated into American newspapers since 1903, notably his well-known tale "The Debt-Collector" (at least eight different translations). Between 1917 and 1919 the literary editor of the New York Tribune, William L. McPherson (1865-1930), translated seventeen war tales (three of them anonymously), seven of them being collected in Tales of Wartime France (1918). In 1920, English journalist, editor and publisher Alys Eyre Macklin (ca. 1875-1929) arranged a treaty with Level to be his official literary agent for all English-language countries and translated a selection of 26 tales as Crises, Tales of Mystery and Horror (1920). Nine of them have been first published by Hearst's Magazine in New York in 1919-1920. Some other tales appeared later in various newspapers or magazines in England or in the USA, such as Pan (London), or in the well-known pulp magazine Weird Tales

H. P. Lovecraft observed of Level's fiction in his essay Supernatural Horror in Literature (1927): "This type, however, is less a part of the weird tradition than a class peculiar to itself — the so-called conte cruel, in which the wrenching of the emotions is accomplished through dramatic tantalizations, frustrations and gruesome physical horrors". Critic Philippe Gontier wrote: "We can only admire, now almost one hundred years later, the great artistry with which Maurice Level fabricated his plots, with what care he fashioned all the details of their unfolding and how with a master's hand he managed the building of suspense".

Thanks to Lovecraft, Maurice Level has been recognized in the United States and also in Japan as a minor master of the horrible, when he was forgotten in his own country, France during the major part of the 20th century. He was still in print in both these countries in the years 2000. Since 2017, various new editions of his works have been reissued in France, with new critical material.

Nikolay Denkov is an academician of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and a regular member of the European scientific academy "Academia Europaea", a professor and doctor of sciences in physical chemistry. He is a member of the "Physical Sciences Working Group" at the European Space Agency (ESA). He heads the "Active Formulations and Materials" laboratory at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".

According to the 2021 ranking of Stanford University, Academician Denkov is in the top 1% of the world's most influential scientists in his field. His scientific research is in the field of physicochemistry of colloid-dispersed systems, surface-active substances and their numerous applications. He has published more than 180 scientific articles, two of them in the prestigious journal "Nature" and one each in "Nature Physics" and "Nature Communications", as well as 18 reviews.

His works have been cited over 10,000 times in the scientific literature (h-index = 50). He has delivered over 90 lectures at international conferences, conducted over 80 seminars at foreign universities and research institutes. He is the co-author of 12 patents, including six international and four foreign.

He managed more than 45 international projects financed by foreign companies.

He worked as a visiting researcher at the Japan Science Foundation (JRDC), a senior researcher at the Rhone-Poulenc Institute (France), a leading scientist at the Unilever Research Institute (USA). He was a visiting professor at the Engineering School of Industrial Physics and Chemistry ESPCI-Paris and at the University of Lille (France).

Academician Nikolay Denkov has been awarded a number of prestigious awards for his scientific achievements: the Solvay Award of the European Colloid and Interface Society, the Lectureship Award of the Department of Colloids and Interphase Boundaries of the Japanese Chemical Society, the national award "Pythagoras" of the Ministry of Education and Science, etc.

From 2014 to 2016 Academician Nikolay Denkov was the Deputy Minister of Education and Science with portfolios of higher education and European structural funds. In 2016, he resigned due to disagreement with the policy of the then leadership in the Ministry of Education and Culture.

In 2017, he was acting Minister of Education and Science in the government of Ognyan Gerdzhikov. He held the same post in the two caretaker governments of Stefan Yanev in 2021.

He is one of the iconic names that, together with Kiril Petkov and Asen Vaсsilev, created a new party called "We Continue the Change". On December 13, 2021, he was elected Minister of Education and Science in the regular government of Kiril Petkov.

His administration is associated with the continuation of the policy initiated by GERB to increase the average teacher salary.

Before leaving the ministry, he reported that he had kept his promise that the average teacher salary would be 25% higher than the national average.

However, he failed to realize his goals - to elect school principals in a new way, so that subjectivism and their political orientation could be avoided.

The prepared ordinance was challenged in the Supreme Court. Denkov did not meet public support to realize his other goal - to extend the school year and start classes between September 5 and 7.
