For the Pacific Rim/BMC fusion which I will be writing for the big bang:

I am considering having Mr. Reyes killed off in the first kaiju attack; he was in California for reasons and unfortunately giant alien sea monsters happened. This will not a major plot point, just a sort of point of entry into where the story starts. No characters will really be angsting about it.

remember the last day for the auditions sign up form is april 30th!! you can resubmit it if you change your mind on the character youre auditioning for, but please specify it is a resubmission. i will not be taking any more responses on may 1st. actual auditions wont open immediately, it will be in a couple weeks

however we will be starting in other departments soon! so if youre not in it yet please please PLEASE join the discord server. this is the final call. if youre not in it by may 1st im assuming youre not participating. “Sit up.” Andrew taps Neil on the hip as he too sits up. While Neil struggles, Andrew unwraps the granola bar. “Come here and sit on my lap. Hands on my shoulders.” It takes a moment for Neil to settle on his lap, and Andrew rearranges him so they’re both comfortable. He breaks a bit of the granola bar off and holds it up for Neil, who takes it and kisses the tips of Andrew’s fingers. “Greedy omega.” It makes something in Andrew’s chest tighten, though. That kiss is the only thing Neil has done that Andrew didn’t tell him was okay, and it’s something Andrew thinks Neil might have done outside of heat. “Are you feeling okay, Abram?” There’s no verbal response from Neil, just a pleased purr as Andrew holds up another piece of granola bar. Words would be preferable, but Neil’s fully in heat now and that’s asking a lot. Especially this heat, made worse by delay and circumstance. Andrew can tell it’s much more all-encompassing than a regular heat, Neil’s eyes glassy and unfocused. It’s the sort of thing omegas can die from if they’re not taken care of. If they lose themselves enough. Telling himself he’d leave Neil alone was a lie. Andrew would have always ended up here, with Neil on his lap.

Personal reasons for and against below

For:

- Sanders Sides is an active hyperfixation that isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. I am active in writing for it, so a little longer of a fic shouldn’t be too bad.

- I would write a serial killer!Logan au with intrulogical

- I just want to.

- I had really only “failed” the bmc big bang because of burnout, and I am very active rn.

Against:

- I am scared.

- I “failed” (didn’t complete) the bmc big bang and I feel like I might do the same here.

- It’s a 25,000 word minimum. The bmc one was only 10,000. I couldn’t even do that.

- I am scared.
