Watching Matt stream always had your heart stuttering in your chest.

The theme for Hogwarts Legacy was playing as he was adjusting his camera, your eyes watching him closely and trying to fight the smile stretching across your face. You were sure the viewers could see you staring, considering you were sitting in the chair directly next to him, on camera. His eyes dropped from the screen as he grabbed his controller.

“Alright guys, so, we’re playing Hogwarts Legacy tonight, but I have a special guest with me, as you all can see.” He turned his head and met your eyes, his own smile growing and his cheeks tingeing pink as he caught you already staring. Introduce yourself, he mouthed. You turned to face the camera, grinning wider than before as your eyes scanned over the chat.

“Hey guys, I’m the guest, obviously. My name is Y/n.” You said.

“Yes, you have to create a whole character, is that not what you were expecting when you begged me to play this game?” He teased. You rolled your eyes and adjusted the headset, making sure the ear that was on his side was exposed so you could hear him.

“This is ridiculous, I can’t believe you didn’t tell me I had to create an entire chara—oh my God I can have pink hair, I take it back.” You rambled, scrambling through the hair colors. Matt’s laugh next to you had you grinning as your eyes flickered between the screen and the chat.

You glanced over at Matt, meeting his eyes immediately. You couldn’t help but mirror his smile as you shook your head and faced the screen again. You created your character, groaning when you realized you had to go through a thousand cut scenes, even though you were thrilled to be playing this game.

“I never understood why you can’t see those weird horse things until that dude gets eaten by the dragon.” Matt said, catching your attention enough for you to glance at him with wide eyes and a slack jaw. You sighed through your nose and shook your head.

“I forgot, you’re a fake fan.” You said, interrupting him before he could fire back. “They’re thestrals, you can only see them if you’ve witnessed death, but they’re always there.” You explained, Matt furrowing his eyebrows as you faced the screen again.

The entire time you were going through the beginning quests, you and Matt had bickered back and forth, your smile wide with each comeback you shot at him. It wasn’t until a knock on Matt’s door that the two of you stopped talking. You paused the game, but Matt scoffed and unpaused it.

“You keep playing.” He demanded playfully, your own scoff leaving your lips as you shook your head and continued. Chris peeked his head into the door.

“Food’s here, just thought you guys should know.” He said, Matt nodding his head. Chris left the room, and Matt turned to you.

“I’ll go get it.” He said, standing from the chair as you turned to face him. Before you could process it, he leaned down and pressed his lips to yours firmly and turned to leave the room. You smiled and shook your head before facing the screen and realizing what just happened.

WHAT IS GOING ON MATT JUST KISSED HER ON FUCKING STREAM

You ignored the chat, trying to play it off and completely move past what happened, thinking that Matt did it on instinct. Chats were flying in at such a rapid pace that it felt as though everything on the screen was lagging. It was completely screwing up how you were playing, not only your racing heart and shaking hands on the controller.

You completely short circuited, having no idea what to do as Matt walked back into his room. He was laughing at something Chris had said as he sat down next to you and glanced over at the chat.

“Oh.”

You looked over at him and raised your eyebrows, your skin on fire as you watched his eyes scan over the rapid chats flying in at once.

“Yeah.” You said, Matt finally meeting your eyes with pink cheeks. He smiled and shrugged his shoulders, leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to your nose before he sat back and grinned widely.

“I guess that was one hell of a hard launch, huh?”

how many cotl related dreams have you had by now?

Oh my god all my new followers are gonna have to get caught up to speed huh? So if I rotate something in my brain enough, the likelihood of me thinking about it as I'm falling asleep makes my chances of dreaming about it astronomically higher. Most notably, every other month or so I've had like.. a lucid dream where Shamura and I are just vibing in what seems to be their library. (This is why Pura drew me the Shamura profile picture actually.) Results have varied.

I'm just gonna copy and paste directly from my dream log document I have in the notes section of my phone.

-Shamura Lucid dreams. What have we done... Just chatting, talk about fears and shit, gave them a bubble tea (didn't go well), hug (not super comfy but it was nice anyway).. mostly just talk. They suck at jokes. They are literally so sweet and CONSTANTLY DEPRESSED BUT their presence is so comforting I don't know how else to describe it. Such a friend fr. Looked through their library.. I didn't understand anything but it looked cool but also felt like if I looked at anything wrong I'd set myself on fire by accident. Idk. most recently I talked to them about Gender Thoughts™ and just asked them how they knew they were nonbinary and they hit me with a "Well how did you know YOU were nonbinary ::)" motherfucker you are ten steps ahead of me right now. Forget the trans allegory of trying to "crack the egg." They put it in the microwave and tried to fucking explode it.

-Heket was my wife and we went swimming

-Shamura ran a Mexican restaurant, made good nachos

-Abstract dream, saw all five bishops. Just kind of observed stuff from the outside rather than interacting with them but nothing was super clear, other than them reuniting

-dream that lasted like 2 minutes, Shamura with a little Narinder. I think I was like watching an animated short tho, they weren't actually there. (Note: I still want this so bad)

-I was the Lamb and I went crusading and when I was done Leshy gave me a reward. I don't know why. I chose having a new scar (love that getting injured was my reward) and another choice was like .. the bishops had stronger weapons to fight me with?

-Kallamar (I'm pretty sure from @meatcatt's Redo AU. Great I'm dreaming about AUs of friends now.) was in his Gaming Hole™ and I went to say hi but I startled him and he like... Broke his mug or something and the noise woke me up at 4:45 in the morning.

-Choose ur starter pokémon (Bishop). They were all little and lying down on a table. I wasn't able to pick just one so I made some fried rice instead?? Also I was moving into a house with Ryan (note: my younger brother. I'm the first of 4 kids, he's the second of us)

-I was immediately transported back to 6th grade with all the knowledge I have now and started making predictions about the future that were all correct because I had lived it. One of the things I predicted was some sort of apocalypse that involved a red fungus taking over the world. All of the Bishops were responsible for this, and I distinctly remember Kallamar in a spaceship.

-Leshy disintegrated in front of me???? I think I killed him with my mind I'm SO SORRY LESHY

-Saw Shamura on 3 separate occasions on one night. One they were helping me win a competition to win a house but the house was boobytrapped and haunted and I had to get through the boobytraps to win it wait how were they helping me exactly?, second we were farming together I think in that exact house and we had like so many vegetables I couldn't fucking move and third we were selling ice cream together.

-I saw Narinder!!! Finally!! I was in some. Sermon thing. And he was giving a speech about peace for his followers. Idk (oh wait I didn't remember I had dreamt about him before)

-Had a dream that I became Heket's vessel. At the end of the dream, she turned against me and tried to reclaim her crown. I didn't see that one coming, somehow. Also, the fight took place in my parents's bathroom.

i will say though that when i think of crossovers i do tend to prefer fandom fusions :o i like the idea of blending in the media im crossing over :o !! if youre interested in that sort of thing also, i made an umbrella academy-rezero fusion au fic with turacoverdin and ive made like T^T either shitposty or serious writing or art for several other fusion aus for the past two years… just bc i like the idea of placing rezero characters in like. different scenarios and studying them like bugs under a microscope HAH some other fusions ive done / daydreamed about include madoka magica, attack on titan, persona 5, also did some chainsaw man au doodles (unlike most people when they do chainsaw man aus i put emilia as denji and subaru as asa wodnsjs HEAR ME OUT OK—)… etc etc i suppose… also that one time i drew rezero characters as mario characters and tried way too hard on it—

[ Sova, the man of metamorphosis ]

Okay FR tho, bless this man's heart. He's such a nice guy –for a Lazer accurate Russian with a cybernetic eye, that shoots lighting arrows (You know what I mean).

When I look at Sova in the game, it reminds me of a big brother figure. Responsible, mature and very dependable.

But here's the kicker– no one is born with that much maturity– so Sova, who is big brother of the protocol, must've and Should've Been a very chaotic young man.

So here's my head cannon, he's a man that has gone through many phases. From larvae, to butterfly– er, Owl.

[ Sova, Sasha Novikov ]

As a toddler, Sova was raised by his Babushka (Grandmother) and her associate hunters.

Not much is said about his parents so guessing from his Russian hunter background, they were hunters that must've been in an accident leaving a young Sasha, under the name Filin, to his Babushka.

Sova would occasionally hear his Babushka and her friends, probably hunters like his parents, about their hunts, even helping along with preserving the meat, tanning leather, etc. This leads Sova to be heavily interested in hunting, specially in archery.

I'm imaging that his grandmother stumble upon Sova play-pretending to be a hunter. She absolutely adores his grandson, and as a grandmother would do, tease him about it in his older years.

Sova was sheltered quite a bit, not because grandmother was protective, but because the was in the middle of the fuckin' Russian tundra.

One day, Little Sova waddles up to a good friend of grandmother and asked to be taught how to be hunter like all the –manly, rugged, muscular– men in his village.

The hunter laughs, but he takes this request seriously after noticing the fire in His eyes. A fire he once saw in his parents.

Grandmother –bless her heart– refused profusely, well because its dangerous and she dosent want to lose another one of her precious children.

Sova dosent take this quite well so he trains in "secret" for a while.

Teen years:

Under tutelage of the hunter he asked, Sova was progressing quite well and displayed talent in archery. He was a pretty damn good shot I'd bet.

But as all things go, Babushka find out about it and gave him the whipping of a century. She doesn't stop him however, but drills into the poor boy's skull necessary survival skills.

Sova is starting to be recognized as an upcoming hunter in training. This would definitely be a boost in ego for the teen boy entering puberty.

He probably started to notice girls right about now, and train hard to impress them.

He's also in his rebellious stage about now, trying to be independent and sometimes coming back home with a few bunnies for stew.

Babushka seems pleased as he dosent venture deep into the hunting grounds.

Young Adult:

Sova is now a man. He can hunt his own food, skin his kill, preserve the meat, proccess the materials, and serve his own food. A prodigy.

By now, he would be in a hunting party or team of hunters his age. Lots of vodka being passed around as trade between villages would progress over the years.

One day, Sova called in late because of a hangover. He stayed behind as punishment and he begrudgingly obeyed. But everything went south, snowstorm came and his hunting party didnr come back for two days. To make it worse, that particular bear that they stay away from is out of hibernation.

Sova, being a team player, picked up his bow and arrows, tools and gear– immediately rushed to the hunting forests.

Luckily this forest was dense, protecting the inner contents quite well. Sova then does what a hunter does best. Hunt.

He scales the fucking forest for every sign of his hunting party and he find them in due time.

Unfortunately, his party was heavily wounded and is facing the White Bear, a feared predator that has claimed the lives of many hunters– including his parents.

Sova, a young man with balls of fucking steel, draws the bear away form his party giving them time to excape.

Now facing the bear in a 1 versus 1, Sova empties his whole quiver into the motherfucker– but it wouldn't die!

The bear got close and with a swipe of his paw, crushed Sova's bow, and right arm. A follow up strike gouges Sova's eye.

In desperation, he uses his hunting knife to finish the bear in a slugfest.

He wins, albeit barely.

His friends find him later, nearly dead and triumphant.

After the accident:

Sova lost his right eye and much of his will to live. His life as a hunter was done.

Even if he was hailed a hero, and the bear his prey – it wasn't good enough for him. He lost his eye, his life.

In anger, he skins the bear and makes a cloak out of the white fur and blue leather– creating his signature cloak.

Sova contemplates life for a good minute before striking out in his own, he made a good amount of koney form his hunting. Armed with a backup bow, he travels Russia as a mercenary for hire.

Currently using the left side of his body, Sova is saving up enough money for these revolutionary prosthetics he heard so much about.

By now, this is when he stumbles into a rift that send shim to omega earth, meeting the Sova there.

Of course, he's fucking confused and afraid so he fights his other self who was injured like him.

They don't kill each other and form a truce.

Sova and Sova learn much about patience and mature greatly after seeing their selves. Learning, adapting and overcoming.

He manages to find a way back home.

He gets a prosthetic and feel whole again. This sudden urge of using his right eye, and its many features, he picks up archery again.

And what do you know? He still got it.

His wealth and reputation as a mercenary gives him access to some of his radianite based equipment.

His new tech, skills and reputation garner the attention of a certain man.

He then gets recruited Into valorant as the sixth agent.

That's it!– just a shower thought lmao. Hope ya'll liked it.

The only weapon in this category. An utter failure. Embarrassing. Tactical Sidekicks is like playing laser tag but the lasers do not work. It is also part of the base weapon kit in quickplay and quickplay is boring. SECOND CATEGORY: WEAPONS THAT ARE GOOD BUT ARE BORING!!!! 21) Battle Rifle

If this was about tactical slayer only (the best mode) this weapon is perfectly fine. Decent, maybe. Every other mode it is the most boring accuracy weapon. It brings me no joy. 20) Rocket Launcher

It is just kinda boring. Nothing exciting about it. You look at someone and they die instantly. No thrill of the hunt. Would be fun in any rocket launcher only mode but otherwise no. Bad. Put that shit away! 19) Gravity Hammer

SO marnie is one of the three rivals the protagonist has in pokemon swsh! she's the only girl of the three (even tho i have the looks too hmph) and she lives in spikemuth! spikemuth is this punk and dark town where the dark type gym is near one of the main cities called hammerlocke! NOW THEN let's go for the backstory! back when she was smaller she was a cry baby but that changed the day her older brother piers (dark type gym leader during the game) gave her a morpeko, her main pokemon! from then she became a very good trainer and decided to participate in the gym challenge bc spikemuth gets worse everyday and she loves where she lives! OH and she also has a fan club called team yell! during the game they mess up w challengers bc they want marnie to win and i mean who wldn't want marnie to become the champion i mean pls Ok sorry i got carried away there i love her ANYWAYS to her in game! u first meet her when u enter the fire type gym in motostoke to get into the gym challenge alongside moi 😌😌 u don't need to talk to her then but she's there w her morpeko :] a bit later when u go to the inn to sleep for the night and prepare for the next day (in which u'll have to go to the opening ceremony of the gym challenge) some team yell goons won't let people get to register themselves in the inn and so the protagonist and theloveofmylifehop fight them in a pokemon battle and after u've won she appears and scolds them for doing that and that's when u rlly rlly meet her! my favorite girl <3 I MEAN COUGHS what anyways u don't see her again until ur back in motostoke to fight the fire type gym leader and that's when u first battle her! she specializes in dark type pokemon obviously and i don't think u want to know what her pokemon team is but her team when the game ends is composed by morpeko, liepard, toxicroak ('that's not even a dark type pokemon' she gets to do wtv she wants ok? ok), scrafty and grimmsnarl!! the next time u meet is in the fairy type gym! guys believe me that is a signal they did that in purpose i swear guys- Dies ANYWAYS she gives u her league card then!

THE HER. i am so normal like fr hahahahah COUGHS and just then her morpeko seems to like the protagonist! that morpeko sure knows my lil silly guy OK next time u see her is when u reach spikemuth! they aren't letting anyone get in bc as always team yell only wants marnie to win BUT it's marnie who helps u get in so u can fight piers and earn ur dark type badge! and just after u win to piers marnie appears and piers tells her that he wants marnie to be the new dark type gym leader bc he wants to be a singer! and i mean. sadly she rlly has no chances of winning the gym challenge bc protagonist exists so yk what'll happen to her in the future :') after that u see her again when u reach the last city for the semifinals before the finals of the gym challenge! u fight and defeat her and u cry bc u love her sm I Mean yeah ANYWAYS after the semifinals the champion invites protagonist and that dammed hop to dinner BUT he doesn't show up bc as it seems he's w the fucking chairman of the region in his tower AND SO w the help of marnie, piers and team yell protagonist gets the key to the tower and blah blah blah u get it 👍👍 some Stuff happen after that but i'll talk more abt that when i make my even longer essay abt hop ^^; and so the next time u see her is when protagonist defeats the champion and um. um well.......

In all seriousness, what do I think of the team (I'm assuming you don't mean just Gavi and Pedri haha). I think I warmed up to them. I had a hard time connecting to the 2019/2020/2021/deb 2022, since I was so attached to that "golden" team. The departure of Iniesta really was something and subsequently that of Messi's and all the "old squad"; at one point I gen sat back and thought "wow, I don't feel for that team the way I used to anymore. I don't care about them, I just care about the crest." That realization hit so hard because so many years ago it was precisely because of the players that I'd fell in love with the club, because I was so utterly attached to every single one of them, and since 2018 everything got upside down. Damn weird years.

But this 2022/2023 season, I'm getting it. The mood is good, the vibes are mildly vibing.

It's in big part because of the La Masia kids that help entertaining this kind of core identity. I like the players that come from elsewhere, Pedri (I know we're supposed to act like he's from La Masia but fr), Raphinha, Koundé, Araujo, Christensen, etc, they have the love of the shirt or at least the fire and will to play. Some of them will go but they play and they try well and that's all I ask as a supporter. Even if we may have lost the play style I fell in love with (although arguably our play has been all downfall since 2017/2018), it's evolving. It's getting somewhere. You can't brood in nostalgia forever, it's good for nothing. I'm genuinely optimistic as for the future of the team; if we recruit smartly, in the right positions we need (and those are crucial, like a DM), we'll get back to top level in a couple of years. It's a process I trust. The team is just fine, I like them, they genuinely made me start to cheer again for like I hadn't done for a while for a Barca squad (again not for the crest but for the squad itself). I'm rooting for them all the way. Ofc there's some of them I'm more attached to because I know they'll prob stay more and they have that thing for the crest - thinking of G&P, MTS too, Araujo comes into mind as well.

I'm not in love with them as I used to be with the "old squad" - Xavi, Iniesta, Messi, Ney, Suarez, Busi (yeah lmfao I hate on him but I'll always like him), Alves (...), Piqué (...), Villa, Masche, even the fucking coaches, Guardiola whose enormous bald fuckhead I'll forever love for utterly everything he brought to the team, for the way he made me dream and showed me what the Beautiful Game was, Lucho even though we had many issues, fucking hell I could go on for hours. But still. I'm genuinely rooting for this 2022/2023 team, and attached to a few. It's good, and we're getting there.

As for the board and institution tho, can't speak lmfao. Our finances are a mess, Tebas is a pain in the ass, so that's also a bunch of issues that we need to solve, or we'll not progress much.

behold!! a long ass ramble about sotf and the forest cuz im super hyperfixated and love both with all my heart

my bestie had a super old computer and she wasnt able to run the forest anymore so we couldnt play it for like a year or 2 😭😭 but she bought a laptop and we finally played again after all that time and it was so fun and we met a worm (by we met a worm, i mean SHE met the worm, it was right behind me and i had no idea except for when i jumped down the cliff to get into our house cuz i kept forgetting we had a zipline, i saw 3 little worm bits fall down to my right after me and then i left the game as fast as i could cuz im not about that!! (no fr it was fucking horrible i was so scared my hands were shaking for like 5 minutes 💀 its fun i love it))

and then we beat it and ugh man i wanna play it again like. DONT GET ME WRONG i love sotf so much and i was literally stimming so hard when i heard it was coming out so soon like i was so fucking hype, but the newer creepies arent as scary to me i think? EXCEPT THE CATERPILLAR fuck that noise but otherwise like i think the main this is cuz right listen here is my tale okay

so it was our first playthru of the forest, we saw markiplier and his friends play it (their newer one) and so we were like wow this looks great guys lets get this game so we got it and listen man i just thought it was CANNIBALS thats all i had no fucking idea there were mutants, sooo

i was logging with them above our house area (we built it the same spot as mark shush) and i hear a deer running right and im like okay whatever it was so unimportant i hardly remember that detail, and then i am got!! i am gotten something has got me and i turn and its a fucking armsy and i dont remember since it was a while ago but i know i freaked the fuck out and i was like GUYS theres a fucking. a thing theres a THING come down from the cliff we gotta go and mannn

let me tell you that FEAR has never left me, armsy is the mutant im most afraid of just cuz of that first initial encounter. like the way it TOWERED OVER ME BRO and i didnnt know what i was looking at, shit man. AWFUL, i love it. the newer creepy mutants are just smaller i think, but i still think theyre very cool

i will say tho no shade (full shade) but my friends arent like. they arent GOOD at listening or looking out for danger, so i am our eyes and ears most of the time

i am SO OVERLY PARANOID IN THE FOREST its like actual hell i can feel the stress taking over my body (believe it or not, i do enjoy playing this game) its crazy and theres been so many times ive saved our asses cuz i can hear an armsy coming from a mile away 💀 its fun tho we have fun here

yeah idk i miss it i might ask if we can play more cuz i kinda want megan to spawn around our base (also speaking of megan i kicked her ASS MAN all the fear ive ever felt and the nerves i had before the fight were completely turned to dust because fighting something that size activated my monster hunter instincts and i wasnt scared anymore i kept staggering her with my fire club and i did the finishing blow it was epic. my friend died like 4 times somehow but its okay we did it)
