I was rewatching Beast Wars with my sister (though, for her, it's basically the first time because she was a bit too young to remember) and we got to "Feral Screams part 1" and this part! Optimus Primal's reaction is so heartbreaking! The agape mouth, the slumping shoulders, the look! UGH!

(For folks who don't know/remember: Cheetor got caught in a machine using alien/Vok tech and a piece of his plating flew off. Depth Charge assumes this means that he died and, when Primal asks, tosses him the piece of plating.)

So you’re telling me that Beast Wars Megatron was able to use the OG Megatron’s spark to transform himself just like Optimus Primal had using Optimus Prime’s spark?

But Optimus bears the Matrix of Leadership, and Megatron didn’t have any special artifact that made him powerful, he was just a regular dude who liked conquest and shit. So how was Megatron’s spark able to transform BW Megs if he doesn’t have any magical trinket with the power to do that?!

And Starscream possessed Waspinator that one time, so why didn’t Waspinator transform from having the spark combined?! It makes no sense!

Why Couldn't They Add [Insert Character Name Here]? 🤖☕️

While I would've loved for more Beast Wars character representation in Rise Of The Beasts, I can't imagine how the writers would be able to add them in there without taking away what little characterization the other Maximals had. But having a decent chunk of the film being in New York City, it felt like a goddamn crime to not include the one Maximal with a Brooklyn accent among them, but that's just me.
