*As soon as they leave his office, the doorway that appears to the side of his corridor, allowing visitors to consult him without the wards interfering, closes and disappears from the inside of the office, locking it. Gabriel’s breath is shaky as he runs a hand through his hair, trying to figure out what each of them actually meant behind the many barbs.*

‘They’re not wrong, you’re getting sloppy in your work because of these breaks.’

“Shut up.”

‘You don’t deserve to exist, the only reason you do is because Father couldn’t think of anything better’

“Shut up.”

‘And you’re gaining weight, you really should lay off the food, resources are scarce with Father being a recluse, you know that’

Get to know her…

Most would describe Gina as a force not to be reckoned with. If there’s a goal to be reached, she’ll go for it without any excuses. She’s confident and practical, but the people that know her well enough are aware that she’s got a pretty great sense of humor. She’s a natural flirter and can easily leave her tomboyish demeanor behind whenever she sees fit; knowing she’s got everything going in her favor. Gina is one of the most resourceful people to have around, but if ever crossed, she can prove to be quite fiery and stubborn. In general, she lives her life with all of the energy she has, not willing to slack in any area of her life.

Welcome to the coast…

Full of adrenaline and outdoor activities, a high-paced environments is what Virginia grew into. Her dad was a QB for the Miami Dolphins; her mom, a Snorkeling Guide in Biscayne National Park. Her love for nature and sports came easily to her, she was never one to sit around at home and would always love to watch her dad train. She’d also be the one trying to adopt every stray dog they found on the street. Thirteen year old Gina’s life turned around when her parents broke the news; she would have a brother. As awestruck as she was at first, the girl was aware there had always been a lingering idea between the couple about having another child, but Gina never knew why it hadn’t happened. At first, Gina was unsure about Kieran, but it didn’t take her long to get used to the ditzy guy as they quickly bonded over their first family camping trip.

Gina proved to be the epitome of balance when it came down to entering high school. Although her schedule was full with AP Classes, Track, and Environmental Club activities; her weekends were dedicated to her family. She was quite upset when college acceptance letters arrived because it meant the siblings would take different paths as Kie left for Ancora. Fortunately, Gina took the best out of staying home; choosing to double major in Physical Therapy and Education, with a minor in Dance. Wanting some experience before her last year of college began, Gina sent out her resume to every place that would take it.

Stay a while…

It came as an amazing surprise that a gym in Costa Serena responded with a job offer; a year-long trial that would keep her occupied while studying. Gina contacted the owner, Phil, and the man managed to help her score a quick transfer to Ancora. She would have never thought she’d pack her bags to enter her final school year at a new university, with a new job, in a completely new place. Gina has been unable to recall any other time in her life she had been as excited for anything a she was for this adventure.

Connections:

Kieran Tod (Adoptive brother): Gina adores her sibling, but she can’t help but feel as if he’s not quite ready for the world yet. Though, she’s completely excited to spend time around Kie again; she’s looking forward to getting back the lost time between them.

Jenny Hachwrench (Acquaintance): She stumbled into Gadget at the Neverland Juice Bar and she found her the sweetest thing. Gina is intrigued to make friends with the greatly intelligent and vivacious girl.

Phil Laskaris (Boss): Gina finds Phil quite the character and finds it hard not to chuckle whenever he’s having one of his tantrums. So far, she’s enjoyed the little time she’s been in the gym and hopes her year becomes a complete gig down the road.

URGENT COMMUNITY SUPPORT NEEDED !

My best friend, Alexus, was hit by someone who ran a red light & t-boned her car, completely totaling it. She walked away (thankfully) but sustained a concussion & a sprained shoulder & while an emt tended to her at the scene of the crash, the people who hit her sat there & LAUGHED with the police at her after they destroyed her car. She now has no way to reliably get to & from work (the area she lives in offers little to no public transportation) & was already practically drowning in medical bills from dealing with chronic pain before being saddled with new medical bills from the injuries sustained in the crash. Her insurance is covering her car but said it could take up to a month to cut her check & she simply can’t afford to be out of work for that long. Alexus REALLY needs funds for ubers, medical bills, and possible lawyer fees if she decides to take the people who hit her to court. Links below to donate!
