Make sure you have done your research about bird care before thinking about taking me home, I may be small but birds need regular vet visits, socialization, and care just like any other animal! I will need a good rotation of toys, regular baths (make sure you ask your vet or an Adoptions Counselor how to do this properly!), and a variety of perches. I will need a cage large enough to accommodate me stretching my wings and the length of my tail - the larger the better! My cage and food and water dishes should be cleaned daily and deep cleaned often. Research healthy budgie diets to make sure I am eating the right stuff for proper nutrition! I should be getting a little bit of fresh fruit and veg daily!
