Calgrach being a very expressive person means that his friends could visibly see his depression worsen and himself growing emotionally numb from being so goddamn tired/anxious all the time

what makes things worse is that fireteam Carnation probably took it as a positive bc less expressions mean less him giving away information via facial queues

Cracks in the Wall The pair greet you in their new temporary quarters. Calgrach seems to be in higher spirits since you last saw him. Lester translates the hunter’s signing for you, “Guardian, we really do appreciate everything you’ve done to help us get this far.” “It took a lot of courage for us to leave.” The ghost turns to his guardian thoughtfully, “Cal still needs some time to collect himself. We don’t want to risk making ourselves a target if we can avoid it.” They explain that they’ve given any data they had left over to Crow from him to analyze. “From here on out, the best we can do is guess Riley’s next moves. Crow has a good idea of where they might strike next.” Calgrach waves to you before you leave. Lester translates, shyly, “And...thanks again. Genuinely.”

Riley

they/them / half human half awoken / hunter Ghost: Wallie (They/it) The official leader of fireteam carnation.  Sarcastic and sassy, but tends to be particular about how missions should be run.  Their ghost often disproves of their ideas for being too outlandish/risky.

Simón 

she/her / human / titan Ghost: Krill (she/her) Considered often to be the second in command.  Lost her ghost while trying to protect Reaper-7.  She still continues to participate on missions even with the risk of true death.

Repaer-7

he/it / exo / warlock Ghost: Sky (She/her) Fiercely loyal to his fireteam, but quick to anger.  Cold at first but lets out more playfulness/teasing as he grows more comfortable around others.  Was assigned as Cal’s unofficial mentor until Cal got a better grasp on things.  Blames Cal for the loss of Krill.   

Calgrach (”Cal”)

he/him / awoken / hunter Ghost: Lester (he/him) Newest member of the fireteam.  Fully deaf and uses assistive technology to communicate with his team while on missions (His ghost also assists with translating between sign language and spoken words).  Is often teased for being newer/not as good as the rest of the team amongst other things.

Hi! I'm new to the D2 Tumblr scene and I think it's super cool that a lot of people here have really detailed characters. Would you mind giving me a little intro to your D2 ocs?

:D !! I'd love to!! I have a lot more in the works so I'll just share a little bit about my main three for now:

Jesse (he/they) is my main lad. He's a human arc titan with a big heart and is an overall goofball.  Their ghost, Bink, can be just as playful. The two of them may have some silly ideas but 9 times out of 10 they're just silly enough to work. Another titan, Victoria, watched him be resurrected for the first time and since then the two have been super close (and eventually became partners). Jesse is very much someone who favors the good of the many over the good of the one, and will do what he can to get his team through even the worst of fights.

Calgrach (he/him) is my awoken hunter whom I'm currently working on the backstory for. He was pretty badly abused by his first fireteam, which resulted in a nasty fight between him and his (now ex) partner. While many guardians have only heard his Reaper's side of things, people have begun to realize just how damaged Cal really was. Cal, nowadays, has started and is progressing well through the healing process and has proper friends who he loves very dearly. Calgrach's ghost, Lester, helps with translating for those who aren't familiar with sign language, and relays communication while on missions (for context: Cal is deaf!).

Reaper-7 (he/it) is my warlock exo, and Cal's ex partner. He was assigned as Cal's unofficial mentor for a short time while Calgrach got his footing. Reaper will happily throw himself in front of a bullet to save a fireteam member, however he'll be bitching to you about how stupid you are for standing there while doing it. Cal and Reaper's relationship was, rough, to put it lightly. Very much like a fire that burned and sputtered far too brightly and only ended up leaving scorchmarks in the end. Its ghost, Sky, is actually quite wary of him after witnessing all the things it's done.
