as a zenos aficionado what kind of experiments do you think emet did to him that fandaniel just sort of mentioned in passing other than making a nine foot tall dd blond bombshell a la rocky horror picture show?

Tbqh I feel like knowing Garlemald's proclivity for human experimentation, there was likely enhancements given to Zenos to further mold him into a living weapon for the Empire beyond the hardiness Garleans are known to possess [Perhaps with a hunch that one of the royal family would be key in its downfall, knowing how Emet functions and knowing he also had a presence during the Allagan empire] Delving into my own personal headcanon's and ideas though, I'll put this under a spoiler for folks who haven't done Endwalker's MSQ yet!

Following the line of Fandaniel's "Could Emet-selch have found a way?", I'm inclined to believe that Emet somehow tried to salvage a shard or the memories from a fellow Ancient- similar to how Amon was revealed to be a shard of Hermes by him- and what better subject to try placing said memories than with his own progeny with some extra oomph? Assuming something went wrong to Solus's eldest, Lucius, that wasn't an illness and it simply failed in Varis, Zenos being the 'third time's a charm' kinda checks out in my mind. The idea that Zenos dreamt of the Final Days just because he's a descendant from Emet-selch seems flimsy as an answer, personally, especially taking into consideration that he also took to the Resonant startlingly well to the point he essentially became an offshoot Ascian with abilities no one else has been able to acquire to the degree he has, even being shown a few times to be able to see and somewhat read the colors of peoples souls which we know Hythlodaeus and Emet could do.

TL;DR version I feel like he was given the Capt. America super soldier treatment as reinforcement for his already buckwild strength and intellect, but the Resonant essentially 'unlocked' part of his genetics that passed down from Emet and his Ancient-ness

Your mind is really superior, your Cartagena head canon is on point. I always wondered why Armando looked so upset when he found out Betty had been in Cartagena during the time she disappeared. I mean I understand that he could have been surprised she was ever outside of Bogotá, but he seemed almost angry to find this out. so shocked by the revelation that he had to take his glasses off. the thing is, he went crazy looking for her, wondering where she could be and to find out that she never even left colombia. she was like, an hour plane ride away the entire time. and he didn't know. and no one would tell him bc she left orders to specifically not tell him. so for him, cartagena is always going to be the place she went to to get away from him. even tho for her, its the place where she healed and learned to forgive him.

i dont even think he remembers seeing her on tv. he doesn't have the full knowledge of how she ended up in cartagena bc when he mentions it to mario, mario says 'oh so she left for cartagena out of spite?'--(rough translation)--and armando nods. which we know isn't completely true. yes, we know she was also planning on leaving ecomoda but she never had a location getaway planned. like armando said, she left all the money and her family is poor. for armando, finding out where she had been this whole time is simply painful for him.

There’s surely a lot that has happened in 2023 for K-pop! It was quite an eventful year, and honestly looking back at the songs that debuted this year makes it feel like it has been a longgggg year.

I really loved fromis_9, Dreamcatcher, and Kiss Of Life's comebacks! Kiss Of Life was quite surprising! Also, I am glad the Loona girls are out there, free from their oppressive contracts.

I was actually supposed to watch Dreamcatcher, but I had to sell the ticket because of my boards, I heard they had fun here! I hope to see them maybe the next time in the future if it permits.

Simply speechless to describe the feeling of being there in the same place with this guy that we love so much. Since I was in line it still seemed to be a lie, all that, when I came in and came across the green and blue lights I've been getting all over myself. Feeling the energy of all the fans is something surreal, everyone there just for it is something very crazy to think and imagine.

everyone screaming and simply standing there to provide and demonstrate the love we feel for him is such a beautiful and wonderful thing to see. The sunroom show, without very good words we are already electrified. After some time and all the lights went out that place screamed so much, it seemed like everything was shaking (ps. I'm writing this goose bumps, just to remember).

When Steve started with his wonderful drums on "we made it" I think I never felt so many emotions at the same time, I just knew how to scream, jump, I think I had so much adrenaline in my body and happy that I couldn't cry. But when "Too Young" started, only tears and more tears came down and the plug that was there with the love of my life in front of me was so beautiful and sweet.

When he said he was happy to be there, my God, he barely knows how crazy we were about everything that was going on. Listening to those live songs you've always imagined singing along with him in front of the stage is surreal. When I heard that high note in "7", when we all shouted together "princess park" and "you were my because" I felt everything and a little more, as my love for it is genuine.

I think even so, after everything I told you, there's no way to put into words everything I felt, it was the most beautiful and perfect day of my life. Every detail, every scream, every cry is marked forever.

i hope you've given to understand a little bit of how it was hahaha 🧡💛🧡💛
