You likely came to the underground after being shunned, exiled, or kicked out in a way. You were angry, and after meeting Asriel you later got the idea to bring everyone out of the underground. Asriel was as much your brother as your partner in crime, in all sorts of shenanigans likely. It’s possible you wanted revenge on the people who wronged you above ground and Asriel was willing to help you. He might or might not have known any ulterior motives you had, he knew at least how the humans had hurt you and wronged you. You two were always seen together and nearly impossible to separate, if one was seen without the other then that means that you were probably either getting ready to pull something or running after the other trying to catch up and find them.

chara dreemurr here, any other undertale kins have mems from so, so many timelines? like i remember being with frisk as a narrator type ghost, dubbed narrachara by the general fandom. but also i remember nightmare's gang? figuring out i'm chara, and by extension, monsterhearted, has answered a lot of our alterhumanity mysteries.

i remember our core's obsession with heart necklaces when they(?) were 8 - years before undertale had even come out. i remember how we used to cut our hair, our favorite shirt, our obsession with dandelions.. we looked, and wanted to look, just like them.

we've always felt different, and we thought another 'type (domestic cat, sorta), answered it, but it wasn't quite that. we belonged to something else, but we weren't it. and so the monsterhearted bit explains that.

it also explains our sense of humor :)
