Mei being the one to comfort Yuzu when it's usually always been the other way around makes my heart so happy. It's really shows how much Mei has grown and how much she's more in touch with her emotions. Love can really change a person for the better and I believe Mei's relationship with Yuzu has helped heal the wounds of her past to allow her to become stronger and to be there for Yuzu the same way she has always been for her.
Sorry for getting so deep into this but is page just hit so personally because it reminds me of how much I try to encourage my boyfriend when he doubts himself.

Haha, love Yuzu's reaction to Mei calling her an idiot here
Decided to reread Citrus yet again and it's always nice picking out little details you didn't notice before.

Yuzu, yelling across the room: Okogi!
Mei: Aihara!
Yuzu: OKOGI.
Mei: AIHARA.
Yuzu: OKOGI!!!
Mei: AIHARA!!!
Himeko: Wait, why are they both shouting their own last names?
Matsuri, without looking up from her her phone: They're fighting over which one to use when they get married.

I don’t care if Citrus is problematic and is primarily made for straight dudes with its weird fanservice. These are both true but I still really enjoyed my time watching/reading it and would do it again
