Imagine the look of amusement in Saeyoung's eyes when you jokingly call him a brother. He doesn't know how to navigate a relationship with his brother at the moment because they simply don't know anything about each other anymore. It's hard to make a connection with someone when all you can remember is what it felt to be like children huddled together trying to survive in a living hell. 

They don't have a lot to talk about and sometimes that can make it feel a lot more awkward than it needs to be. There are moments when it's easier to talk when you were in the situation. It gives them a little bit of a buffer since you have a little more knowledge on how to maintain friendships. It's not that they don't know what they're doing exactly, it's just it's to understand that's the person that they thought they knew isn't who they are anymore.

In Saeyoung’s case, It makes him feel good because it's a reminder that he's a part of a family and you're joining that family. It reminds him that he's grateful for you. He knows that his family wouldn't be able to be together today if it wasn't for the fact that you had come into Saeran’s life.

You were there when he could be there and that means a lot for somebody who treated everything in his life to save his brother. It means a lot more than he's ever able to say. Sometimes you just have to look at him and you understand how grateful he is. He blushes but laughs along with you because he knows this is the family he wants to be in.

For Saeran, it's kind of a relief. It took him a while to work up the courage that he needed to talk to his brother properly. There are still days when he doesn't know how to talk about the things that bother him, and you're the rock that helps him through those exhausting moments. You're the reason that he keeps fighting for himself. You're the reason that he's able to believe that he's worth fighting for.

You've done a lot for him and just knowing that you're there for him is all that he needs. You find a way to make him laugh and feel comfortable in any situation. That's why he loves you so much. He's able to laugh and it breaks the ice. “My love, you never cease to amaze me. I don't know how you come up with clever jokes like that but they always make me smile.”

how long had you known him? six days? seven? you could barely remember, but it felt like weeks. no, months. despite the majority of your time waiting for him to have breaks to see you, you'd very quickly fallen for the pretty man.

and equally quickly noticed that something was wrong. not in any insulting way to him, but he looked so... tired. there was dark shadows under his eyes, his skin was frightfully pale, cheekbones ever so slightly sunken in. his jacket hung loose, almost like a child wearing a jumper his mother bought for him to grow into as he grew older - but ray wasn't a child, and you suspected his mother hadn't gifted him this. and he wasn't growing anymore.

his voice was so quiet, hesitant, as though he awaited you to snap at him, or insult him, or even physically hurt him. if he touched you (rarely) his fingers could be shaky, barely brushing you, the only time he was slightly sure was for the split second he leaned into your kiss that night. everything was uncertain, fearful, he was like a deer, or kitten.

and yet, he still cared for you. handing you the bottle with adverted eyes, quietly whispering how it wouldn't hurt you. he seemed so... surprised when you thanked him, it made your heart hurt. and when he softly wept, clearly unable to hold his emotions back, you stopped yourself wrapping him in a hug, not wanting to frighten him.

"sorry...i'll...i'll get going... have a good night ..!" but you grabbed his wrist before he could run, gently, carefully, and he glanced at you.

"ray. ray, promise me you'll still be here when i wake up." he didn't answer. "ray. promise me. please. i feel like something's going to happen, something you're not telling me. so please, promise me."

"i can't.... um... i... promise. sorry." and he pulled his arm free and fled.

he's a terrible liar.

one phone call, one conversation. and you never hear another word from him, no one speaks of him for the next day, as though he was never even there. when you finally bring it up, questioning the believer with a nervous look on your face, the only, puzzled, reply you get is : "aren't you aware? mr ray is having his cleansing today."

everything seems to shatter around you. and the man banging your door down isn't ray, not anymore. do you love this new man? perhaps. but you would be a liar if you denied your love for ray, your love for all those moments, both the ones you shared, and the ones you never got to.

you miss him. did he die that night? washed away with the mint liquid? did he run away from the world?

but it's not the time for those thoughts, because saeran is calling your phone, and if you don't somehow escape the walls, then you'll be at risk of dying next.

Sometimes, I look at this one and I can't stop smiling myself. You were enjoying your day curled up with Saeran underneath shady trees. You had shared drinks and candies earlier but now you were just curled up together and enjoying the clouds brollingy. His voice was soft against the sounds of the afternoon cicadas. "So, my love, what lesson did you learn this all this?"

"Falling in love with a game developer just might save your life," you said, solemnly. You were serious when you said it. You were happy he had come into your life because it made you feel like you were where you always wanted to be.

Saeran stared at you for a moment as he tried to gauge if you were trying to make a joke or if you were serious. But, then he started to laugh again. He kissed your cheeks one after the other and brushed his forehead against yours. "Does that mean the lesson that I should have learned is that falling in love with my game tester just might be what saves me?"

"Mhm!"

"Hahaha! I love you, my sweet. I love you more than anything else. I love you so much my heart can't stand to be apart from you. Thank you for being in my life," his sparkling eyes met yours. Even though you were trying to tease him, he didn't see it that way. He thought it was your earnest devotion, and really, you were just happy that he'd said he loved you again.

This was the way that Saeran was, and you'd never ask for him to change. You couldn't tell this man a joke because he'd turned into something where he poured his heart out to you on a silver platter. You felt like the luckiest person alive.

ok ok the lipstick kiss thing... but with suit saeran? 💋😊 i know he'll probably push me off before i can even get close to his face but thankfully through some miracle chance i managed to be slick and quick about kissing his cheeks, the lipstick stain is light but i know he'll wipe it off quickly and ofc scold me for it

Suit Saeran would be astounded if you managed to get into his personal space like that. He purposefully keeps you away from him just to avoid anything like that happening. He doesn’t want you to get full of yourself, nor does he want you to think that you have a leg up on him. 

This isn’t your world, toy; This is the toy box he allows you to live in and you should be grateful that he lets you stay right where you are. If he decides for you to do something else, he can have you sent away anywhere he wants. He’s the only thing in this place keeping you from being thrown away like scraps or trash. So, he’s sure to keep you right where he wants you. If he wants you in this room, in this room you’ll stay.

Say that you get to press your lips against his cheek when he’s on the cusp of getting back to work, he’d be unable to move for a moment until he understood what you’d just done. His first reaction is to shove you away and scold you for trying to trick him like you tricked Ray. If it’s a bad day, he might corner you and berate you for it. If it’s day where he’s busy and he can’t waste his time, he’ll just leave you standing there, slamming the door shut before you can see any sort of reaction on his face.

Make no mistake, his chest feels tight, his eyes are wide, and for some strange reason, his face feels warm. He has no idea that there’s lipstick staining his face or that  you’ve left him with a mark. He’s too busy trying to process the fact that you kissed him. It wasn’t on the lips but it was against his skin. It would make his heart tremble enough that he would grimace, thinking that Ray was trying to see if he could exist again. But, make no mistake as it stands, that is his heart that is beating wildly... not Ray, not this time. 

He would storm back to his room but he’d have no clue why the believers were gawking at him. If someone stood in his way or eyed him for a while, he’d shove them out of the way or ensue that they couldn’t bother him. It won’t be until he’s alone that he realizes that you marked him. He could take that one of two ways, you wanted to get back at him for his bitemark, or you wanted to embarrass him in front of everyone.

Oh my God, not only is it A Shark it's a Strawberry Orange flavor! Can you imagine the excitement right there in his eyes as he beams? He's come to like so many others that exist in this world but it's many of the misunderstood creatures that he relates to the most. He sees sharks and realizes that they're not a group of killing machines. They're just animals who try to live their lives. Only people decide what's evil or not. That's how he feels about himself... so, the sharks and he are a lot alike. Closing my eyes to see him curled up on a summer afternoon with a shark popsicle and his shark plushie... is this Heaven?

Not only is Saeran wearing purple which is my trademark, he's also got a little farmer get-up. That's as close as can be to my cowboy and I am living for it right now. I'm gonna cry about it. I have no doubt in my mind that he would try to tease me with something like this. He's just that kind of person. That's one of the things that I love the most about him. I just saw angel saeran and shhehdhddh HE IS SO BEAUTIFUL!!😭💝💝💝 I was having a hard time visualizing what angels wear in the story (or maybe you describe it and i just didn't pay attention im so sorry 💀) and settling for plain white shirt wasnt having it and to see?? its actually a suit with gold highlights?? i never thought of that !!!😭💞usually typical angels will wear boring white gowns or smth like that but tbh its makes sense for saeran to have suit (does reader get a suit as well?) since he's a guardian angel yk?? and sevennn saeyoungggg arghjdhdhd his clothes looks similar to unknown!! thats such a good detail!! Aw, thank you for saying so! I've got a lot of Angel looks because I'm picturing Heaven to be a place where Angels can decide what they're wearing more or less. You've got Angels that dress in more traditional styles like you mentioned, and you've got Angels that dress more in a modern sense! I haven't described it fully yet but that's because once you met Polaris, one of our two Reader-Inserts, you're along with the ride they're on. They're trying to understand what's happening and do not have the time to focus on outfits. So, you didn't get to see all that much yet! They were too busy trying to figure out how they got Angel Wings!

Demons are no different to me, meaning they can more or less wear whatever they want, but I'll say, look out, pay attention, and look for key words in the future since I'll be describing how everyone else looks soon. If I find the motivation, I might doodle the rest of the RFA since they are involved here, too.

I tend to doodle some outfits that Readers can imagine themselves in for my stories sometimes, and I might do that, too. I tend to draw a couple since my Readers are Gender Neutral and some people want to wear a skirt or pants simply per style. I don't often describe what the Reader wears for the most part just to leave that open, but I can say that Angels in my stories wear a lot of white. There's usually some other accent color in their clothes like golden yellow, in Saeran's case. Demons wear a lot of black and muted tones like browns or reds. It just feels fitting.

I'd say you can imagine any outfit you want for Polaris, just as I'll say you can imagine anything you want for Gardenia, the other Reader that you'll be meeting on Monday since the story has two Readers in it!

Thank you for noticing those key details about Luciel. He... he isn't coping well with being a demon. He hates seeing himself. He doesn't want to imagine seeing himself as a demon because it might taint a memory he has of his twin. All Luciel has that means anything to him is the cross he wears, but that cross burns his neck and leaves a lot of scars because it's not made for a demon. He accepts that pain for himself because he knows why he's in Hell... and you'll find out why he's there soon enough. :)

I'm not sure if you have a death wish or not. I mean, you have a sense of humor that I adore but you know that this is like walking into a big death trap. I should say that this is in the realm of how he reacted to being spammed with Sanrio memes last year. He's going to shout at you for trying to mess with him.

That is to say, he thinks you're just trying to trick him as you "tricked" Ray, and any form of communication that isn't what he wants, which is hard because he doesn't know what he wants, is going to make it worse on himself and you. He doesn't think it's cute or cheeky. He's on the cusp of shaking your shoulders and demanding to know if you have ever had a single thought in your brain that isn't nonsense. But, like, later on, GE Saeran will laugh about that. Now? Suit Saeran is a bad boy and he will not humor it.

GE Saeran has such a funny sense of humor, honestly. He pulls you into a trap and you fall for it.
