Shout to the peeps who've checked my Story and know (somewhat) what this pic is about! These books are by @xnickflairx (writer) and @ruben_rojas (artist) specifically, the book on the right, PROTON, is his latest title that's running hot on KICKSTARTER at over 💯% funded! Although it is funded, it isn't easy making a comic book and I want to see this project go as far as possible! I've been watching Nick churn his comics out by several issues, one at a time, and now PROTON is being collected into a trade paperback covering issues 0-3! 💥 PROTON has some "Green Lantern comparison, and heavy influence from early Invincible by @robert_kirkman_" as described by Nick Flair Not only is that concept a cool reason to back but also (personally) I'm backing because behind the scenes the making of this comic is a story of a come up. As I've said earlier Nick's been working on this project for years and as he mentions in his latest IG video. 📽️ Unlike The Big 2 or heck the Top 10 in mainstream comics, churning out issues is a monumental task for only a handful of creators operating independently. Comparatively to the mainstream companies resources are zero to none for independent creators. Which is adds a special charm in the production that you won't find in a company driven title.
