Istuieth Sadriel was an Elf of Doriath who spent the majority of her maturity as a scholar of the courts of Thingol and later Dior.
Due to the indefinite lifespan of Elves, she was able to dedicate herself to studying and becoming well learned in many pursuits, but her greatest fascination was the study of bodily harm and death. Living in Arda Marred and belonging to a race who could only die of great grief or violence, she was fascinated by death and how it could occur and possibly be prevented. She was greatly loyal to the line of Thingol and loathed the Fëanorians almost as much as she loathed the Dark Enemy and his servants.
Istuieth survived the Sack of Doriath and dedicated herself to surveying the corpses to ascertain who had died, and how. Famously, she studied the bodies of not only Dior Eluchil and Nimloth, but also Fëanor’s sons Celegorm, Caranthir, Curufin and his wife- though she was unaware of their identity at the time. Istuieth followed her kin to the Mouths of Sirion, and died there in the Sack.

Curufin’s wife moodboar
Since Curufin was his father’s favorite son, I supposed that Feanor found for him a noble and fine Noldorin lady.

Turunís Aíra was the wife of Curufin the Crafty, son of Feanor, and mother of Celebrimbor. She was as proud and clever as her husband, but more patient, and skilled of hand. She went with him and her son into exile, and was lady of Himlad before the Dagor Bragollach, called Hûriel in Sindarin by her people. After the battle, she fled to Nargothrond, where she was permitted to stay after Curufin and Celegorm were cast out due to their dealings with Beren and Lúthien. She perished in the fall of Nargothrond in FA 495.
My fave oc. I’ve written far to many fics about her that I never get around to completing. Her craft, by the way, is glass-blowing.She also dabbles a bit in alchemy.
(And when I said she was more patient than Curufin, I mean that she’s just as cunning and crafty but less stupid and actually has impulse control.)

tindawen, estranged wife of caranthir
tindawen was a falmari woman born in alqualonde in the undying lands in the years of the trees. the daughter of a sail weaver mother and shipwright father, tindawen enjoyed an idyllic youth and though she grew into a somewhat spoiled and naïve young woman, she was well known for her big heart and gentle demeanour. tindawen did not follow either parent in her chosen career. instead, her twin loves for swimming and beauty led to her becoming a renowned pearl diver.
tindawen met caranthir feanorion when he was travelling with his family and visited one of her favoured diving spots. the two quickly became close, which was a surprise to many as tindawen was known for her sweet disposition, whereas caranthir was famously harsh. however, their personalities complimented each other, as caranthir helped tindawen to better stand up for herself, whereas tindawen helped caranthir become more relaxed and mellow. the two began a tentative courtship, with caranthir bringing tindawen many gifts his brother curufin had wrought from the pearls she had found. after a fairly long courtship, due to both parties being somewhat shy around the other, the two were eventually married in eldamar, shortly before feanor would draw his sword on fingolfin and become exiled to formenos as a result.
tindawen’s parents and feanor were equally suspicious of one another, and though neither forbid the match of their children, for this reason tindawen did not follow her husband to formenos, remaining with her parents in eldamar, which saddened her and her husband. yet both husband and wife held out hope that they would be reunited after twelve years were ended.
sadly, the happy reunion tindawen had dreamed of did not come to pass, for the next time she would see caranthir was as the noldor attempted to take the swan-ships by force. tindawen became distraught at the cruelty towards her people and the theft of their beloved art, including that wrought by her own mother and father, and she cursed her husband and his family and cast her wedding ring into the sea. tindawen was overcome by grief and shame and felt unable to return to her parent’s home. instead, she followed the host of finarfin back to tirion and journeyed on to the gardens of lorien, where she dwelt for many years hence in search of healing.
eventually, tindawen became strong enough in spirit to return to eldamar, where she was welcomed in joy by her kin. though she was estranged from him, she felt in her heart the moment her husband fell in doriath, and was deeply grieved again for his end. tindawen was present in alqualonde when elwing pled for aid for arda to the teleri, and she was moved to hear of so much suffering, especially after her own ordeals. she persuaded her parents to lend their own ships as aid in the war of wrath.

meletyë nercë , wife of curufin, estranged mother of celebrimbor
Born in Aman to two Noldor of Finwë’s court, Meletyë learned politics from an early age, and also showed talent in gemcraft. Though considered unremarkable in face, she was notably tall in stature and always seen wearing impressive jewellery. She was introduced to Curufin as a potential political match, but found in him a true kindred spirit.  Both were alike in interest, temperament, and ambition, and after a highly publicised wedding in Tirion were rarely apart. It was to the surprise of nobody when she followed him to exile first to Formenos and then to Beleriand. She is said to have personally killed two Teleri at Alqualondë.
Meletyë and Curufin together had one son, Tyelperinquar Curufinwë, called Celebrimbor, born in early Beleriand. Celebrimbor always maintained that his parents were devoted and loving towards him and each other, which surprised many when considering their other fell deeds. In Beleriand, Meletyë was usually burned with a firey ambition and would often spend long hours in the forge or riding across the plains of Himlad, yet she was also prone to bouts of melancholy and staff in Himlad remembered her occasionally taking to bed for days at a time.
After the Dagor Bragollach, Meletyë, Curufin, Celebrimbor and her brother in law Celegorm sought refuge in Nargothrond. Meletyë supported her husband’s political ambitions and underhand moves there, and during the quest for the Silmaril, while she did not participate herself in the capture of Luthien or ambush of Beren, she would not condemn her husband for it. As a result, her son disowned her. They never reconnected, as both Celebrimbor’s parents fell in the Sack of Doriath.
Meletyë was known as a cunning and mostly unscrupulous woman, though she was said to have truly loved a small number of people; in particular her husband, son, and favourite brother in law, Celegorm. She was even said to have cried at the death of a beloved horse. Her relationships with her other brothers in law were more complicated. She grieved the captivity of Maedhros and was gladdened at his return, but was made unhappy at his decision to remove the Fëanorians from the line of succession, having always seen her husband as Fëanor’s true heir.

Hi, I absolutely love your various Tolkien-related OCs (and your lovely moodboards), and I would LOVE to know more about them, if it isn't an intrusion! They all seem so interesting 🥺
Thank you so much Merilles!!! 😭❤️ I'm always delighted for the chance to ramble about my OCs, they're my babies, of course it isn't an intrusion!
Turunís (Wife of Curufin) is one of my most developed ones, I rambled a bit about her in this post a little bit ago.
You asked about Faenel, so here's some about her:
-Faenel is a woman of Minas Tirith. Her parents both died when she was very young, and she and her younger sister Miri were sent to live with their aunt and uncle. -Their aunt and uncle were not deliberately cruel, but they were harsh people, and Faenel waited to reach adulthood so she could leave and take Miri with her. -As a child she often was sent to run errands through the city by her uncle, and one day she stumbled upon Boromir when he was taking a rest from his duties. He was then a young adult, but he had known her father (a soldier) and they became quick friends. He was kind and patient and gentle to her when no one else was, and she was took his mind off his worries and told him about everything. She was as a little sister to him. -(And to be clear, their relationship was nothing anything like romantic, it is a purely platonic friendship as if older brother and younger sister) -When she reached the age of 16, old enough in Gondor to go off on her own path, she managed to find a job doing basic work at a seamstress’ shop. With the few coins that she earned, she scraped by enough to rent a small room for her and Miri. -Gradually she became more skilled and moved on to better jobs. By the time she was 21 she was designing new clothes to sell, and later opened her own shop. -Faenel is on the short side and has medium brown skin, dark brown eyes, and waist-length black hair. -She loves designing and sewing clothing so much, and her mind is always filled with new ideas. -Miri is the person she cares most about in the world, and she’s very protective of her. Miri’s about six years younger than Faenel, so by the time they left their aunt and uncle she was ten. She’s very small for her age, but bubbly and cheerful and loud. -”Wren” is the nickname given for Faenel by Boromir, and it’s used by all her friends fondly. -She often sings while she works, she’s not particularly good but she loves singing the songs she hears around the city, and it keeps her mind focused when she’s doing dull work. -Her favourite colours are teal/turquoises, and she often uses them when designing clothes for herself or Miri. -When she has her own proper house instead of just a rented room, she has a soft grey pet cat named Lhoss (Whisper) -She’s ace, and demiromantic -As her life goes on, the war gets harder and harder. She sees Boromir less as he is so often busy or at battle, he is Captain of Gondor, after all. -She keeps working hard in her shop, she eventually has several hired assistants and Miri helps customers and runs errands. -Miri gets married shortly after her 18th birthday to her best friend Lothion, but continues working with Faenel. -Faenel never weds, she’s happy enough with her sewing and Lhoss and Miri and her friends, despite her worries. -She loves flowers and always has several vases of them around her home. -Her favourite place in the city is a tucked-away corner on one of the upper levels that she goes to when she needs peace, it overlooks the land beyond the city and is a good quiet place to rest. -She was deeply grieved when the news of Boromir’s death reached her during the war of the ring. He was the best person she knew, the one who had comforted her with stories of epic battles and brave warriors when she was a sad child and played child’s games with her when he had a rest from his work. -She’s a staunch stewardist and has a vague dislike of Aragorn
Here’s a quick picrew of her:

I’m still figuring out that her name might have been, but I have a headcanon she was a Noldorin lady, skilled in weaving and embroidery.
