I've always wondered why they chose to have Missy tell Spider about this myth specifically, especially since I feel like it doesn't mirror (?) or symbolize their relationship too well. They aren't exactly tragic, and I can't see either of them filling out the Eurydice/Orpheus role.

I thought, then, maybe Malakai and Amerie? But it still doesn't fit too well, imo. It's more like neither of them can move on, not just one of them. So I expanded my horizons beyond just the sexual/romantic relationships in the show, and. I need you guys to hear me out here:

This myth is interpreted in many ways, but I see a lot of posts discussing the themes of love, grief/loss, and inability to move on... I don't know. This was probably not intentional at all. But I thought it could be a nice little detail (:

I imagine a scenario where's he's trying on new specs, and you're not there to give your opinion in person, so he takes out his phone and snaps a too-close selfie of his face being all adorable, in a pair that he quite likes.

But he's not sure... His damn sight is getting worse with the perks of ageing, and you've caught him squinting when reading scripts too many times, and have nudged him to go to the optometrist until he finally caves, knowing that his old reading glasses (that are scratched up to hell and are taped together) are no longer up to the job.

Today i went on a walk and i saw a squirrel. It jumped away before i could take a picture, and i was sad, because i wanted to show you.

Awh 😞 it would've been super cute to see a squirrel!! I remember when I was younger, I would go camping with my family sometimes, and every time we would see a squirrel me and my sister would go, "CHIPPY"!!!! It's been the name we've called all squirrels since we were like 6. :D

money is getting really tight for me rn so i wanted to ask you guys, whats your favorite really cheap meal? (mine is angel hair spaghetti with newman’s own marinara)

#i put some melted butter in with the spaghetti too #im VERY particular about marinara. it has to be this brand. i really hate super sweet tomato sauces #canto vi #it costs about $4 total and makes me multiple meals #like i usually overfill myself on the meal so technically i eat like 2 meals worth at a time but then i end up only eating like twice that d #day because of eating so much pasta so it works out #id say i get like 6 big filling meals out of it… maybe more but i usually let jett have some of what i make so idk how many meals worth rly #my point is its like definitely less than a dollar #food
