Daisy! I LOVE HER SO MUCH <3

I based her design on a red/cream ragdoll cat bec they are so pretty, and when I think of Berrynose and his mama I always imagine those silly red colorpoint cats :)

Daisy is wearing a fern along with some blue tinted daisies bec in RoC she is mates with Ferncloud!

Basically the only thing Im changing about her is that she becomes mates with Ferncloud instead of being with Spiderleg! Fern had a crush on daisy the moment she met her and was overjoyed when Daisy joined Thunder Order. The two spent lots of time together and Fern was like a second mom to Daisy's kits (Btw I renamed Hazeltail, Cowtail and Mousewhisker, Haywhisker bec I thought farm themed names would be cute!).

Fern and Daisy ended up becoming mates and they had Daisy's second litter together (the donor was a loner)!

I thought about giving Daisy a title (suffix) bec in this au its less of a name and more of a symbolic thing but I decided against it bec I like the idea that Daisy just didn't want one, and wanted to be called just Daisy by everyone! I think she just feels like she doesn't need a title to prove that she's an important part of the Order!

Quick sketch of an au where Shrewpaw/Shrewtail survives :)

Shrewtail might be a bit of everyone's dad like Brackenfur ? From his few apparitions in the books, he is a nice, understanding and friendly cat who cares about others !

He would not take kindly to Spiderleg ignoring his kits. I like to imagine that maybe, instead of Leafpool talking to Spiderleg about his role as a father when he is sick with a cough, it would be Shrewtail !

I just really like Shrewpaw, he was one of my favorite character from the second arc when I was a kid !

Thinking about Daisy. What the fuck why did they just use her to get to her kits. Almost everyone in the Clan was like "yeah, she sucks and will never be a warrior. Her KITS though..."

Like they literally send a patrol to go get her back and she doesn't want too. She only leaves because Smoky tells her too and she realizes she's not wanted there. It just hurts so much

Okay fic idea I had that I’m putting here

after pacing around for a bit I 100% want to make a DaisyKin centric fic

You have

- BerryNose, who grew up as a Mama’s boy only to be trained by a xenophobic ass and later became a self-centered and honestly quite terrible cat after too much of Bramble’s behavior seeped in. He finds his “softer” family members to be weaker, and spends all his time trying to impress the “strong” leading cats. This leads to his death at the hands of the imposter in the end.

- HazelTail, who was good friends with HollyLeaf and went on the tribe journey. She gets a good glimpse of how different life can be outside of the barn and clan cats, and doesn’t know how to feel when her clanmates refuse to acknowledge the outsider’s strength. Also a really cool plot that could surround her finding a friend in HollyLeaf, only for HollyLeaf to announce how disgusting her own half clan heritage is ( by extent saying how terrible outsider blood is in general )

- MouseWhisker, the big boy. It’s implied he had a half-clan relationship (I think) and he’s always been a pretty nice guy, and I want to RUN with this. I especially want to see him get close with Millie, and later realize how terrible some of the boundaries and stereotypes are.

So we have three cats born from a kittypet and brought to the clans ( with their mom ) and they each go to either of three sides: The Outsider-Haters(berry), The Neutral Clan Member(hazel), and The Outgoing Codebreaker(mouse)

I really want them to interact with the three more after the parents reveal, especially HollyLeaf. Like you spend your whole life growing up with this one kid who’s descended from the leader and yet feels no different about you, only for them to announce their own outsider heritage and deem it disgusting and criminal. ( bonus points to the fact that one of the first things Holly mentions about the DaisyKin is that it’s unfair they’re apprentices before her when they’re “ not real clan cats “)

I especially want something like when HollyLeaf’s lecture about evil half-clan relationships towards IvyPool when she returns to happen to probably HazelTail. Like perhaps Hazel is on that patrol with Ivy and Holly and overhears the whole thing. And I want to see nice girl HazelTail ANGRY. I want HollyLeaf to be saying all the no-halfclan stuff to Ivy when she see’s Hazel walking over. She starts to mention what she was talking about before Hazel smacks her across the head or something and says she heard it all. “ nice to know how criminal you think I am, friend “

It could also be huge for HollyLeaf. To realize what it really means when she says her heritage is criminal. When she looks at Daisy and her kits, Millie and Graystripe’s family, StoneFur, MistyStar, ect. I want her to look deep into what she says about herself and realize what she’s saying about everyone else.

occasionally i think about the au my friend and i collaborated on in middle school wherein daisy gets the idea to, in front of a gathering, announce that she wishes to start dayclan. it's place between thundrclan and windclan territory where queens who need some free time from their kits can drop them off at the camp for however long and daisy + some other cats who are designated to take care of them will keep the kits there.

elders or cats retired due to injury/disability can also come hang out there, entertain the kits and whatnot

it would also solve the issue of medicine cats not being able to have kits, since if things get too hectic they can take their kits there

its also a safe place to bring kittens, elders, & unexperienced apprentices during an emergency

my friend and i were going to make a comic- they drew it and i colored it- but we lost steam after the first page or so. i miiiight still have that page somewhere but i'm not sure, they might've been the one who ended up with it (we've had a falling out and i moved since then, so i'm probably never going to see it again let's be honest)
