Happy Sims 4 Patch Day!!

Are you ready for this? The For Rent patch drops today, and as usual, we will be closing Deaderpool's Discord support channels once it happens, to give creators time to update their mods and custom content... and to give you players time to make sure your own game, and Mods folder, are both updated before you start bringing error files to us.

We are likely to leave our #patreon-exception-support channel open, and possibly our regular chat channels... but this is entirely dependent on people's behavior, and may change at any time.

PLEASE READ OUR #server-info CHANNEL!!! It is there to streamline the process for you and us both, and it just might keep you from getting banned off our server. There are some files we are NOT going to allow you to bring into our support channels, and it's your responsibility to make sure you don't have them showing up in your error files.

If you want to appeal a ban, read this post. Note that we only accept appeals on Discord, not through Tumblr, or Twitter, or any other platform.

While our support channels are closed, you can check out Luth's AHQ area and Scarlet's Mods List for update news.

Another reminder, we have both of the files for MCCC's public version (currently 2023.7.0) available on Discord in our #mccc-help-links channel, and we will add any post-patch/pack hotfixed versions Deaderpool provides there, as well.

Be Excellent to Each Other

I know things have been rough for the community lately, particularly custom content creators and especially those who have had early access on Patreon. I want to send some positivity out to just *some* of the many cc creators and modders I appreciate and support or have supported over the years. Some of you may be on hiatus or retired, some of you have always offered your content for free, and some of you are on TSR. Regardless, you have all brought joy to my life, as has the Sims 4 itself, bugs and all. Thanks to all of you for sharing your time and talents with us. Sometimes the jerks are really loud, but please know there are also a lot of folks who appreciate you and recognize your time is worth something. Obviously this message does not apply to bad actors who abuse others in the community over their paywalls. But they are the exception. We need to remember that most CC creators are generous people who deserve respect! There are bad apples, but we don’t have to sink to their level.

NPC Fasion

NPC Fashion - is a configuration file for MC Command Center. It won't work without MCCC.

Compitable with the latest game patch.

If you are tired of ridiculously dressed NPCs, or you want your newly generated NPCs are being dressed at least not like weirdos and you are using MCCC, than this file is the solution.

This file contains:

1530 unique female outfits total;

1771 unique male outfits total;

341 unique female (elders) outfits total;

653 unique male (elders) outfits total;

133 unique female (child) outfits total;

245 unique male (child) outfits total;

263 unique outfits for infants.

How to install:

simply drop the file from the archive in MCCC folder and confirm replacement if needed.

In game:

Click on a Computer >> [MC Command Center] >> [MC Dresser] >> [Only Use Saved Outfits] :

**You must choose "Enabled" for MC Dresser to clean sims with outfits listed in the CFG file.

Click on a Computer >> [MC Command Center] >> [MC Population] >> [Population Settings] >> [Run Dresser] :

**You must choose "Enabled" for new sims to be generated with clean outfits.

Warning! I have all EPs and DLSs. This means that if you don't have some clothes, which where used in this .cfg file, some outfits may be "broken" (missing bottom or top etc.).

Medieval Save 2.0 (with CC)

Welcome to my Medieval save for The Sims 4.

I've dedicated a considerable amount of time and effort into crafting it, and the work will continue with more worlds to come. As an enthusiast of this kind of Sims 4 world, I've created something that I myself would eagerly enjoy playing. I wish you a wonderful gaming experience with this save. Don't forget to familiarize yourself with the instructions.

Main Information:

1. Remade cities: Willow Creek, Newcrest, Magnolia Promenade, Windenburg, Brindleton Bay, Moonwood Mill, Sulani. More worlds will be added in the future.

(for convenience, you can download this file and place it in the Mods folder. It will highlight the remade cities).

C:\Users\username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods.

2. The following hidden lots have been remade: Police Station, Laboratory, Hospital, School + Classroom, Magical Realm, Movie Studio.

3. How to install the save:

Place the .save file at the following path: C:\Users\username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves

Lifespan is set to high.

4. This is not a mod! It's a save file. Look for it in the game through "Load Game." Changes will only affect this save.

Hey, stop re-uploading mods & don't download mod re-uploads!!!!

There are two creators MissChipsa (estrellka-chips) & Tiasha-sims that have huge mod-repacks/re-uploads online. One is Medieval gameplay ModPack 1.31 up on Patreon (with a paywalled version)--its since been deleted but still appears up on their bootsy, this is a 7.3GB re-upload. The other is hosted on vk, and the only version seems to be paywalled (big thanks to @cubiertodeflores for letting me know about this one).

Please don't download mod packs like this (even though it goes against many creators' TOU)...to name a few reasons:

You can't be sure the mods are up to date

You may not know what you're actually installing

Many mods have specific install instructions that require the user to read the instructions

Many mods have "choose your own" files and/or require "helper files" (looking at you food mods)

If you're tagged, then your mods are included--if you already knew about this and/or its not against your TOU, then please ignore me!!

Happy Anniversary to Deaderpool's Discord!

Seven years ago today, Deaderpool's Discord server was born. It's been a wild ride, plenty of ups and downs, comings and goings. 

We've grown a lot, from a handful of Team and Members, to a pretty good-sized Team, serving over 100,000 members. We've changed a lot, between day one and now. Still going strong, providing volunteer help for most things Sims 4 related, especially MC Command Center.

What are your must-have mods for historical gameplay?

Happy to help try to list out what I use! Some of these are obviously historical, some just help me with my game! This might have gotten a little long, but I tried to include all the mods I feel like I need to happily play in a historic save file. I've included some overrides here as well.

Allows for setting changes to support a more historic style of playthrough, and just so much more control over your game.

T.O.O.L. by @twistedmexi

Great for moving debug objects to cover obviously modern items outside the lot, and an absolute must have for posing.

UI Cheats by Weerbesu

Lets you cheat by simpling right clicking on the UI, great for custom historic careers, money management, really everything!

Better Exceptions by @twistedmexi

Helps you locate cc sims are wearing and just keeps an eye on your game heath.

Timeless by @pandorasimbox

Hides modern world objects from your save, amazing for making world appearance much more suitable for historical play.

No Autonomous Anything by @claudiasharon

Includes no autonomous phone, no autonomous pc use, no auto grabbing drinks or food, and no auto cleaning. You can choose which ones work for you best, I have everything but no auto cleaning.

Phone Call Overhaul by @lotharihoe

Reworks the call system, especially great that you can delay invitations, makes it feel more like letter exchanges.

Hat Control Slider by ICONIC

Allows you to adjust where eligible hats sit on the sims head, perfect for those big historic hairs and hats.

Remove Hats & More Indoors by @mizoreyukii

Works similarly to the Snowy Escape not allowing shoes indoor, sims will remove hats and gloves when they come indoors. Great for letting sims have historic outfits without looking silly indoors.

Broom Instead of Mop by @xbrilliantsims

Override for the in-game mop to the broom so your historical sims aren't mopping puddles with that yellow and plastic monstrosity.

Pregnancy Overhaul by @littlemssam

Allows your pregnant sims to do more while they're pregnant. Also offers some more realistic options for mortality.

No ZZZ and No Music Note by Krys29 (MTS)

Gets rid of the zzz's and music notes, makes my screenshots better.

Bust The Dust Overhaul by @lotharihoe

Gets rid of the dust bunnies and clean floor sparkles from the bust the dust kit.

Functional Broom by @mizoreyukii

Works like a vacuum for bust the dust, or available as a BG option to have your sims sweep up.

Neutral Knitting Override by @pandorasimbox

Overrides the bright knitted swatch while your sims are knitting for a more neutral color.

Dog Leash Override by @magnolianfarewell

Overrides the plastic retractable leash used for dogs on walks with a simple leather lead.

Who mod creators inspires me?

This is a continuation of the previous post, but mods edition.

I've mentally thanked many creators for their work more than once, and I think this is a good opportunity to express it.

Because these people are a powerful contribution to the community and I want them to know that I appreciate it :з

Of course, there are many, many great creators, you can join my initiative if you want)

Maybe later I'll make another similar post, but about cc creators, because there are so many of them.

This is a huge contribution to the game and the gameplay of thousands of simmers. Thank you! The first thing I do after an update game is go check out this mod. It makes my life with ts4 much easier omg

Of course, I can't help but mention @deaderpoolmc 🤩 Who doesn't know about MCCC? I can't imagine the game without it.

Then there are those creators whose creations literally make me cry with happiness.

@twistedmexi and so many useful mods! I can't even remember all of them now, you are so talented modmaker! but TOOL and BetterBuildBuy it's one of the best things that could have happened to the Sims.

@simverses your cc is just magical! I don't know where else I would have seen such good thematic historical content and such a variety! And your mod.. A year ago, I swear, sometimes I was ready to throw my laptop out the window out of frustration 😁

Why? Why can't I do anything about these horrible high-rise buildings in the background, billboards and modern cars on the road when I need vintage?😖🤌Now I feel really free.... *-*

@zerbu is another creator I can't do without! ❤️ His mods literally expand the boundaries of the game and allow not to be tied to one world/town. It is simply an indispensable thing in my stories.

I can place a school in Komorebi instead of Copperdale, I can turn public lots into residential, I can live in vacation towns. This greatly improves the game experience. Thank you! ❤️

@twelfthdocttor I owe some very useful mods like Travel to venue (i'm really very grateful to you, that's SO useful) and also thanks to you, I love Batuu to a large extent because my characters can look the way I want them to look there ❤️

Hej, miałam pisać głównie do tłumaczy modów, ale kończąc post zorientowałam się, że dużo by nie wynieśli z tych wypocin 😅

Opisuję tutaj pewną historię, która mi się przytrafiła. Jak komuś się nudzi to może poczytać. Piszę też ten post, aby ktoś z serwera Deaderpoola go zobaczył, bo nie mam możliwości się skontaktować z ani jedną osobą stamtąd. Jednak nie mam na to nadziei.

Śmieszna sytuacja. Zaczęłam dostawać wiadomości na CF i Discordzie od adminów/moderatorów serwera KawaiiStacie i Deaderpoola - Onyxangel i Cur13yKar13y.

(chyba po kliknięciu w zdjęcie zdjęcie będzie mieć lepszą jakość ale nwm)

Zarzucają mi, że to w jaki sposób dodaję moje tłumaczenia (od 4 lat prawie już) wygląda tak, jakbym pisała, że to są moje mody, i że je przywłaszczam. No, i że nie piszę, że tłumaczenia należą do KS.

Problemem też jest to, że nie dodaję tłumaczeń na jej stronę i jej serwer, oraz to, że tłumaczę "zakazany" przez ICH SERWERY mod, i że miałam czelność dodać te straszne tłumaczenie na tę samą stronę, co tłumaczenia do perfekcyjnych (wgl nie popsutych przez 9 miesięcy w roku) modów KS.

Próbowałam im to wytłumaczyć w kilku wiadomościach, ale obraziły się, bo byłam "agresywna". Cur13yKar13y w ogóle mnie nie wysłuchała tylko od razu zablokowała, po czy jej koleżanka zrobiła to samo.

w każdym poście, na CF, czy tutaj daję info "polskie tłumaczenie/polish translation" oraz info, że "bez moda tłumaczenie nie zadziała". Na CF piszę to w 5 miejscach! bo takie są wymagania strony. Czy to jest moja wina, że osoby/dzieci nie potrafią zrozumieć, że to nie jest mod i zgłaszają się do adminów ich serwerów? No ja wprowadzam w błąd specjalnie.

nie dodaję jej tłumaczeń na serwer, bo nikt tego nie robi. Jeśli wejdziecie na jej serwer i kanał #complete-translations, zobaczycie (na ten moment) post ze stycznia 2023, wcześniej ze 2 posty z 2022. Tyle. Inni nie muszą, ale ja muszę.

nie dodaję tłumaczeń na jej stronę, bo nie mam możliwości. Jej strona jest bardziej popsuta od jej modów. Na początku, dodawałam wszystkie swoje tłumaczenia, kiedy w pewnym momencie KS zdecydowała, że usunie stronę i zbuduje nową, usuwając przy tym wszystkie konta. Ja wraz z innymi tłumaczami byliśmy zdezorientowani, co się stało, czemu nie mogę się zalogować, gdzie się podziały nasze tłumaczenia? KS oraz jej admini nawet nie poinformowali nas o tym, już nie mówiąc o jakiś przeprosinach. Przeniosłam się tu na dobre. Potem stworzyłam nowe konto na jej stronie. Aktualnie, moje konto znów zostało usunięte. Nie mogę tam nic zrobić. Zgłaszałam to. "No ale dlaczego nie dodajesz tłumaczeń na jej stronę?"

w każdym tłumaczeniu dodaję link do moda. Nie muszę pisać imienia autora. Aby tłumaczenie działało, musisz pobrać moda z linka. Wchodzisz w link i widzisz autora, prawda? Nikt mi nie wmówi, że przywłaszczam

tutaj ta śmieszna część: ich serwery (DP, KS i inne) mają zakazane mody na SWOICH SERWERACH. Z jakiegoś powodu Etheria's Romance Overhaul jest zakazany, idc. Ale czemu ma mnie to obchodzić? Że jakiś serwer coś sobie zakazał i teraz piszą do mnie, że złamałam zasady ICH serwera??? No nie wiem jak to wytłumaczyć, to jest chora sytuacja. Ja nie dodałam tłumaczenia na ich serwery. Czy ja czegoś tutaj nie rozumiem?

Jak wszędzie, tak i tu chodzi o kasę... Według nich czerpię korzyści z nie mojej pracy.

Otóż na CurseForge kolekcjonuje się punkty na podstawie ilości pobrań. Punkty te wymienia się na Karty podarunkowe Amazon albo po prostu dostaje się pieniądze.

Przez 4 lata wszystko było okej, ale gdy teraz mogę mieć korzyści materialne ze swojej pracy to nagle wszystko robię źle. Hmm...

Mi to wygląda na czepianie się, bo ktoś tu jest zazdrosny. Według nich ktoś im doniósł, że łamię zasady. Jestem w stanie to uwierzyć, to bardzo możliwe. Znam osoby w tej społeczności, które źle mi życzą. Może naprawdę one tylko mnie informują, bo inna osoba/grupa osób zazdrości mnie nie lubi.

Ta społeczność już odbiera mi chęć i zabawę z gry. Skupiam się głównie na tłumaczeniach, bo bardzo lubię to hobby. Tymi oskarżeniami/zazdrością nikt nie sprawi, że to porzucę, a jeśli kogoś boli, że mogę dostawać za to pieniądze to proponuję zacząć tworzyć jakiś kontent i publikować go w Internecie. Na CF znajduje się wiele gier 😉

Jeśli czyta to jakiś tłumacz, który publikuje lub planuje publikować tłumaczenia na CurseForge - ten post może być przykładem na kogo uważać, no i żeby nie dać się zastraszyć.

Jeżeli dodajesz link do strony z modem i/lub piszesz imię autora, dajesz informację o tym, że to tylko tłumaczenie - nie łamiesz żadnych zasad.

(Zawieranie moda w swoim tłumaczeniu też nie jest złe. Ja je wyciągam, aby plik nie tworzył problemów, ale według zasad EA, zawieranie moda jest ok - każdy ma prawo modyfikować inne mody/cc i przywłaszczać je jako swoje - tłumacze najczęściej publikują tylko pliki tłumaczenia, bo są mili, no i żeby nie łamać sprawiedliwych zasad twórców 🤡)

To chyba tyle. Ogólnie śmieszna sytuacja. 🤔
