They work at the command of royalty and are extremely loyal creatures, but they are only loyal to whomever they serve, as to others they are treacherous and manipulative, even to their own kind. Hexenbiests who are "created" are more deadly than normal Hexenbiests.

Remember Khloe, the Musae in like S2?  What if Nick DID sleep with her?  And what if she was pregnant when Renard ran her out of town?

I can just imagine her having a girl.  Fast-forward 12 years, and that girl turns out to a Grimm--she’s an early bloomer like her grandma Kelly Burkhardt.  Khloe wouldn’t actually care that her daughter’s a Grimm, except half her lovers are wesen, and most of THEM certainly do care.  It takes all her enchantment to convince them not to behead her daughter, and detracts from the energy she can put into inspiring her would-be artists.  Clearly, this situation isn’t sustainable.  So she ships the girl off to live with her father.  

The girl herself had, up until this point, no idea who her father was, much less that he was a Grimm.  Khloe expected her to be a Musae--she expected to be a Musae--so the fact that she had a father was pretty insignificant, right up until her eyes began turning rim-to-rim black.  Her Mom ships her to Portland with a friend, since Renard still prohibits Musae from crossing into his Principality under pain of death, and she gets dropped unceremoniously on Nick and Juliette’s doorstep (bc Nick/Juliette, sue me).

Nothing too exciting happens after that.  

Juliette’s nonchalant about the new addition to their household, because by this point, she’s basically spent ten years cooperatively parenting Kelly Schade-Burkhardt with Adalind Schade.  The worst she does is jibe Nick as to when she can expect to learn about the rest of his love-children.  Also, if some of the local wesen were displeased to hear about Blutbud/Fuchsbau babies, they (and not a few Grimm), were even more alarmed at the prospect of Grimm/Hexenbiest children.  Since for safety reasons, neither Juliette nor Adalind could get a regular babysitter for their kids, the whole lot of them (and the Monroe/Calvert kids, because why not) grow up between their houses.  

Beyond all this, the rituals that changed Juliette into a Hexenbiest bind her close to Adalind as a sister.  She shares the Schade family magic, and she even shares some genetics with Adalind--enough to be flagged as a cousin.  Hexenbiest always raise their children with close female relatives.  As far as Diana is concerned, Juliette’s daughters are her sisters.

Sean Renard also ends up babysitting.  Partly, this is because he wants to be close to his daughter and heir, and Diana and her pseudo-siblings come as a package-deal.  But it’s also because he can see the benefits of cultivating familial loyalty to himself and his daughter among a pack of baby Grimm and Hexenbiest.  And, he supposes, the Monroe/Calvert children aren’t an unwise investment either.  Their parents certainly proved their worth many times over in a thousand small demonstrations of skill and good sense.

The only person who ends up slightly annoyed with the whole arrangement is Nick’s son Kelly.  He’s pissed because, like his father, he doesn’t Grimm up until well past the point anyone expected it to happen--long after his father and Juliette’s kids Grimm up or woge.  Poor dude.

Unexpected part 11

Unexpected Accusations

Grimm: Nick/Adalind

Massive Canon Divergence. Does not follow the timeline of the show. Nick Burkhardt is dealing with a broken heart after his girlfriend leaves him without word or warning. Adalind Schade is dealing with a broken heart after finding out the man she loved had been sleeping with her mother on the same day her mother was killed. When Adalind discovers she is pregnant, Nick volunteers to be there for her through everything. Together, they discover how the unexpected might not be such a bad thing.

Life became more hectic. 

Nick and Adalind’s entire world revolved around Diana.She was a small helpless little thing. And she was deeply loved.

Grimm duty was set aside so Nick could focus on daddy duty.

There were times he would get up in the middle of the night, just staring at Adalind and Diana. They were his two remarkable ladies.

Nick had never felt happier in his life.

But that happiness was short lived when a news station shared a report that he was a corrupt cop.

The story included accusations that he had been overly aggressive with those that he was arresting.

The report went to say that he had even planted evidence to justify many arrests.

The clip of the report was uploaded to social media. Soon, the whole thing spread like wildfire.

The DA’s office, the Mayor’s, the Chief of Police, and Captain Renard's office were bombarded with calls to fire Detective Burkhardt and lock him in jail.

A conference was scheduled.

“There are a lot of corrupt cops, but Burkhardt is not one of them.” Renard announced with all of the power and authority in his being. “Not once in his entire career has he ever shown to be anything other than honorable and upstanding. His record is public. Everyone can see for themselves that the only people who have accused him of planting evidence, are those with far too much evidence against them for it to have been logically planted. As for the accusations of excessive force, consider those that have accused Burkhardt, are all rapists, child abusers, and those with a long history of committing violent crimes. Those are not the type of individuals who come along peacefully when placed under arrest.”

The DA stepped forward. “My office has looked at Detective Burkhardt and found him to be nothing short of respectable. Therefore, we will be looking into the news station that aired the story falsely accusing him of corruption. An organization licensed as a news source and reporting unfounded information is illegal. We fully intend to prosecute them to the highest extent.”

As it turned out. The news station manager knew nothing about the story. The first time anyone had heard of Officer NIck Burkardt, and accusations of corruption, was when it was read on the teleprompters.

Those that usually fed the information into the computer, claimed to have been given the report by a woman who they knew to be one of the researchers on staff.

Her name was Reagan Montgamery. Who just so happened to be a former friend of Juliette’s.

At first, it was assumed that she was getting revenge on Nick due to Juliette being locked up.

However, in the interrogation room, when questioned, she had shouted,

“It’s not fair! It was my turn to be with Nick.”

Nick wasn’t doing the interrogating, but he was watching from the other room. Curious to know what was going on, he called another friend of Juliette’s, Michelle Tomerson, and asked what she knew about what Reagan was talking about.

“Reagan has always been interested in you, Nick. But you didn’t seem to notice.”

She went on to elaborate on the times Reagan had gone on drunken rants during girl’s night, after Juliette had left.

“Reagan had shown up at your house. Wearing a sexy dress. Carrying a bottle of wine. But was informed by your neighbor lady that you weren’t home. She tried again the next day. That time, you were home, for about five minutes. Just as she was offering to pour the two of you a glass, you got a call, and had to leave. I think there might have been a couple of times when you had company. Then you never seemed to be home. She tried you at your precinct. But never caught up with you.

When she discovered that Juliette had returned, she thought for sure that she had to wait for Juliette to mess up again. But then we found out you were with a blonde woman, a powerful lawyer, who was pregnant.

Someone shared with her a post of you and the blonde, standing together, holding a baby. The smiles on your faces were so bright. It was obvious that you had found happiness.

That’s when Reagan lost her mind. They could probably hear her screaming all of the way in Portland, Maine.”

“She is certifiably insane.” Wu deadpanned.

“She has a lot in common with my first wife.” Hank observed out loud.

“She’s going to be going to jail for a good while.” Renard’s tone was even. He didn’t raise his voice. Nick didn’t see him woge. But there was still an air of danger and menace around him, that had many giving him a lot of space.

“It looks bad for him, having a corrupt detective under his watch.” Adalind explained to everyone during the group's dinner. “He wants everyone to believe that he is all seeing. All knowing. That the very second someone under his domain acts inappropriately, he would put an end to them. When that bitch tried to ruin your career, she was putting a blemish on Seans. He’s not just going to let that go. I would almost feel sorry for her, if she hadn’t tried to hurt you.”

“You didn’t have a clue that she was interested in you?” Rosalee asked. “You're normally so observant.”

“I remember seeing maybe a handful of times while I was dating Juliette. I didn’t think it was important to pay attention to her, so I didn’t. Whenever she came around, after Juliette left, I got a sense she was interested. But I wasn’t ready to move on from Juliette, yet.”

 He stared off at nothing for a moment, then recalled something. 

“She’s not my type, anyway. I just remembered her saying once, at a party, that she didn’t want kids.”

“She obviously didn’t know you all that well.” Monroe laughed. “From the first second I met you, I knew kids were a major priority to you.”

“That doesn’t really count. He knocked down your door looking for a kidnapped little girl.” Freddie reminded his sister’s boyfriend.

“What I’m saying is; she wasn’t interested in Nick as a person, or else she would have known they weren’t compatible.”

“She probably didn’t care.” Adalind pointed out. “Nick is a good looking guy. That was probably the only thing she was focused on. And if he treated Juliette as well as he treats me, it would be understandable that she would want him as hers. Completely ignoring of course anything that he wanted.”

“Psycho and selfish. Sounds like your ex. No wonder you weren’t interested in repeating that mistake.” Freddie observed.

“I wonder if they're going to put Reagan in a cell with Juliette.” Wu thought out loud.

Nick didn’t care what happened to Reagan. Just like with Juliette, he was more than happy to put her out of his mind.

He knew that, even if he hadn’t been mourning the break up with Juliette, he would have never been with Reagan. 

She wasn’t his type. And he wasn’t the kind of guy to go out with his ex’s friends.

He had wanted a fresh start. And he had found that with Adalind.

She had been there for him as much as he had been there for her. She had comforted and assured him everytime things had turned upside down. Her belief in him was strong. 

Adalind was his sanity, and his comfort.

Knowing that he had her and Diana in his life kept him from spiraling.

The false accusation and the hate he received after the story went viral would have destroyed him, if it wasn’t for the love and support he received from Adalind.

He might have gone out and done something very stupid, if he wasn’t holding Diana in his arms.

Looking at the baby’s face, how she was sleeping peacefully, putting so much trust in him to keep her safe, made him able to stay calm and be the father she deserved.

His life would be nothing without Adalind and Diana. So it was time that he made it clear he wanted them in his life till the day he died.

𝐸𝓍𝓉𝓇𝒶𝒩𝑜𝓉𝑒𝓈: (not to spoil the book I’m working on, but he ends up falling for Monroe’s sister. I just not going to say how or why, because I don’t want to spoil anything for when the book comes out.

Neil’s relationship with his mom and why he’s against being what he is: they don’t exactly get along to much, since Neil isn’t exactly happy with being a male hexion beast. 

Neil also doesn’t like spells or anything that has to do with witch craft, because it just isn’t something he was/is interested in. 

Neil spoke to his mom on holidays and birthdays, he would stop by every once in awhile to see her and his sister Adalind whom he had a close bond with since their mom wasn’t exactly happy with him.

Neil was asked to join the resistance because of his abilities, he was confused at first before realizing that he could do great good with how powers and help people which is what he wanted to do in the world. 

Neil left Portland once he had turned of age and had enough of being around weson in general, so he left to find his own way and path which is how he stumbled upon the resistance or actually they had found him and recruited him.

Neil also has changed him name to Neil tenet(a reference to another movie Pattinson was in.) which was a combination of his first and middle name, he did that so no one would expect him of being Adalinds brother accept for misner and the resistance. 

Neil is a trained yet good fighter for the resistance, he is also one of their field agents who knows a bit of medical. He still at times stays to himself and very quiet, especially during meetings or on missions mostly because I doesn’t like talking very much.

How Neil got his job and how he met his first Grimm: Neil meet Freddy Calvert during a resistance mission when the two of them went under cover, him and Freddy became good friends after that mission and Freddy had offered him a job at his spice shop if he wanted it since that’s where Neil’s next mission would be.

Neil met Nicks mom Kelly burkhardt on a another mission, he ran into her shortly after mysiner and the others of the resistance joined together for a meeting. Him and Kelly had to work together in order for the mission to go smoothly, and so it did but as as soon the mission was over Kelly became one of the few people he trusted after they both had saved each other’s lives on the mission.
