so I did an oil painting of divine sword Irelia, mostly because it’s one of my favorite splash arts in the game, but partially because I owed a friend for a skin or two
please don’t judge me I don’t know how to oil paint
Big League of Legends fan. But it’s not yet the time for me to write a love letter yet.
This is a significant leap for me in challenging myself to do art! It’s already super ambitious of me to want to color a piece-- let alone six different characters all with different characterized palettes, themes, and everything. And since I have not been continuously coloring my works very often... I was experimenting on coloring methods on the fly!? I am very, very rusty on this, and it took me three weeks (on/off) for the process to come to a grueling full circle.
I ended up learning a lot more about myself and my tools. I now have added more experience on how to challenge myself with colors. I definitely know I could do better next time; do pre-preparations more! I just need the appropriate motivation and drive to do it.
Even if the horizon is long and somber, we can still catch the soft pillars of sunlight in our hands.
