Dawn of the Doors (writing)
The “Hotel” your friends took you to wasn’t what you had in mind… (cw: minor gore mentions and spoilers for Door 100)
Some friends and I reached Door 100 near my birthday and I thought of this story First it had been the monster with the many eyes. Your group had ran past the burning hallway and collapsed onto the carpet of Door 36. The monster chasing you banged on the door and screamed, though the door stayed close. There was a faint green sparkly light around the door. You were all breathing heavily, a few clutching clothes singed around the edges. You hugged each other tightly. You had all made it…  until you did a head count. 5 not 6. Then you heard the rapid knocking on the door – lighter this time, though just as frenzied. “Hey! Open the door! Why is it closed?!” Then, screaming sounds – from both the monster and your friend. They abruptly stopped. First mistake: too slow.
The second had been at the library. You were tempted to reach out and take a book as something to do on your rest breaks. That’s when your friend accidentally kicked over a chair. Everyone froze. The monster growled and started stomping towards the sound. You ducked behind the desk and gestured over to your friend. The creature didn’t seem to wander that direction much. Your friend, though, turned around see the creature running at them. In a panic, they stumbled over the chairs and hurt their ankle, much to the horror of the others. You were still numb from the crunching sounds of your friend being eaten in front of you. Second mistake: too loud.
Door 88. The banter and laughter of the earlier doors had long since died down to hushed whispers and jumping at every groan and creak. You had been lucky enough to all escape the slime monster a second time, though one of your friends had several bandages on the same arm. “I wish we were still at Y/N’s house eating birthday cake,” the head of your ragtag group croaked. The others nodded. “I’m… sorry for suggesting we come here,” they continued and you looked away at the floor sadly. At the next the door, the lights flickered slightly. You automatically headed for a hiding place, then frowned. There was a long, eerie silence. Shouldn’t the fast one have come already? You couldn’t hear- Then there was a loud staticky groan that filled your heart with dread. Fear tingled up your spine. Another new one? “QUICKLY!” someone hissed, and you all pushed yourselves deep into the nearest hiding spot. The wood of the closet was cold against your back. A whoosh of green light roared past you like a jet plane. You caught the blurry sight of a hollowed, white face. You had just stepped out, and someone was saying “Phew, that was a close-“, when you realised the roar hadn’t completely faded. There was a yell in the dark, “It’s… IT’S COMING BACK! GET BACK GET BACK-“ Their voice muffled as you all scrambled back into hiding spots, your stress responses already flighty at this point. You closed your eyes and blocked out the sound of that horrible static. The red glitching was also surrounding your vision yet again, faster and more insistent this time. As the new monster passed, you half-stepped out the closet door, heart racing. Sweat trickled down your back as you strained for even a hint of it returning. Silence in the darkness. You paused a few seconds, just to make sure. Nothing. You were safe again. You sighed, about to call out for your friends, when your foot brushed something hard. You jumped, expecting the psst monster again. You saw something vaguely like a half-destroyed statue in the gloom. And what looked like fallen over plant pots. You guessed if the new monster was anything like the fast, screechy one, the whole room was in disarray. There was a shuffle close to you, and a grumbling as someone tried to flick on a lighter. With a reassuring clink, a small light and two friends appeared in the void. You sighed in relief upon seeing them. You took a step forward, eager to stay close to the group. Then your foot stepped on something hard and squishy. You looked down. Another body, distorted in an unnatural pose. Half-holding a plant pot, as if stepping out from behind it. Oh no. You couldn’t lose another friend… no, please, no. No, no… Third mistake: assuming you’re safe.
Door 93, and a beautiful sight greeted your eyes: Outside, the refreshing scent and pitter-patter of rain on stone. A long, covered walkway with lush plants and hedgerows. You looked both ways automatically for any monsters, but you couldn’t help but relax at the serenity of the scene. “A blessing,” someone breathed. “We should take a rest here.” Too exhausted to reply, you all slumped down, on a bench, on the stones. You gazed around and put your hood up, tsking a short walk around the gardens. A statue, large golden-lit windows, softly glowing lamps, neatly cut grass… You extended your hand to the rain, breathing in sharp cold air. “Don’t make yourself sick,” the leader snapped. You frowned, looking back at them. “I’m just enjoying-“ “Come back here now. We don’t know if there are any more monsters,” they interrupted sharply. You frowned more and came back under the overhang, wiping off the mud from your shoes. You sat down next to your buddy who was bandaged up, the only other option to sit next to. “I’m sorry… it’s just… we have to stay alert from now on. No mistakes,” they continued. You looked up to see the fierce determination in their eyes and gulped. You both nodded.
After a rest, you all continued through the gated door. A large dark room, pretty plants illuminated by the flashlight. You headed through cautiously, the rain battering strongly at the windows. You managed to get through to the next door without any problems. You all paused. “Is everyone ready?” the leader asked. You both murmured a yes, and headed forward. There was a metallic clank, a squelching sound, a scream. A brown slop on the ground, massive teeth embedded in your bandaged friend’s left leg. You managed to free your friend, but the blood loss became too great, despite both your efforts. Fourth mistake: low health.
Pausing at the last door, you both had a premonition. You glanced at the flakes falling from the ceiling, caught in the pulsing white lights. You glanced at each other for several moments in the eerie silence. Then you pulled the lever. As if on cue, a guttural roar sounded, and the library monster burst open the door, crashing down the stairs towards you. You both turned and ran, hiding in a corner of the shelves. The monster calmed after some time, though its stomping never ceased. “You take left, I’ll take right,” whispered your remaining friend. “Search for what we need to do to get out of here.” You paused, before giving them a hug. They gave you a worried glance, before nodding and you headed your separate ways. You figured out you needed to get switches of some kind. You saw your friend creeping past and raised one. They nodded. They pointed to a room with a green exit sign from where the monster had come. So you had to go there. You gestured looking around and they continued looking around themselves. Having searched several times, avoiding the monster, you decided to head for the strange room. It was already unlocked, and there was another lock inside. You waited a while for your friend to sneak back. And waited. And waited. Even heard the monster knock over some boxes in irritation. Dread grew and grew, until you couldn’t take it anymore, and went to look. You found the remaining switches, and a few remaining parts of your friend. Fifth mistake: splitting up.
You bit your mouth shut. No noise, no terror or you’d be dead too. You hurried back to the switch on the wall, the green sparkly light glowing around it. Just focus on the task. You even barely jumped as flames suddenly sprouted in the other room. The monster shrieked and jumped out of the window. Still, you pressed on, numb and dizzy. Finally, finally you flicked the right switches. You ran for the exit without looking back, even when you stumbled from the ground shaking beneath you. Not upon hearing the monster shriek at your echoing footsteps. You ran to the elevator, slamming the red button as hard as you could. The enraged growl of the monster faded as the elevator slowly descended into the darkness. You finally let yourself collapse and take a breath. Just letting yourself feel your heart pounding and waves of built-up relief washing over you. You did it. You were finally escaping. Finally. You closed your eyes, and the world shook. They slammed back open. Gazing up in pure terror, you saw the creature had jumped on top the elevator with you. You screamed, clinging onto the sides. Your fingers stung from gripping the wire too hard as you were tossed around. Just as quickly, you felt weightless. The only sign was the light in the distance growing quickly smaller. You saw glimpses of yellow lights as the elevator fell, what seemed to be boxes and planks. The creature jumped off, rolling onto the safety of the platform. The lights flickered, the world growing too dizzy to focus on anything. You closed your eyes, curling yourself in a ball. A crash. Then silence. Sixth mistake: Thinking you could escape. You awakened slowly, nothing but a grey gloom surrounding you. You coughed slightly, and it echoed. You felt a pressing weight on you. Your body slowly ached with returning feeling. Then nothing but silence again, save for the distant pattering of rain and what could be small rocks falling from above you. After a moment, you noticed orange shafts peeking through a hole on the side. You managed to crane your neck slightly. You thought it was fire in your bleary state, but then realised it was sunlight. Squinting, your eyes adjusted to see the rain falling, grey-green blobs of what could be plants. You lay there, too scared to move in case the numbness in your body was something broken, or you were trapped under something you couldn’t move. Still, nothing stirred. You were alone, the creature still possibly alive in the darkness. You managed to take a deep breath and quelled the panic rising in your throat. Somehow, you were still alive. Somehow, out of all your friends, you were the one to get this far. You had to continue, if only for their sake. But for now… you’d let yourself rest. You weren’t going anywhere anytime soon, and a sudden exhaustion was creeping over your body. You had some air, and if anything was broken, the rocks were holding it in place. You let yourself sink into a crashing wave of unconsciousness. Happy birthday, Y/N, you thought to yourself as darkness closed in around you. You were still trapped in this horrible, horrible Hotel.

It was, entertaining.
To have a creature made of slime like substance slid in and out of cracks of the walls and floor, following you with with it, large un-blinking eye. It didn't really walk on it's "legs" just sliding around the floors, leaving a thick snail like trail on the ground.
It gurgled and hissed out bubbles of what you assumed was spit, sometimes the ink crawling up your legs and you yelp, kicking it off in surprise. In response it would let out a high pitch whimper like a dog, bowing it head, you chuckled shaking your head, telling it that it just scared you.
Until one night it wasn't with you, shrugging it off you continued, to a room which was much darker, and as soon as you reached the door, Seek pops up behind you slamming its wet hand on your shoulder.
"Jesus! Don't scare me like that!" You screeched in shock spinning around, ready to hit whatever touched you with your flashlight, it raised above your head.
"... SS...SCCCCAAAAREE.." the creature gurgled out, a mouth peeling away at the slime, showing off pearly white canines, long and pointed like snake fangs.
You reeled back in surprise, your eyebrows raised in shock as you spat out a hearty laughter. "w-what was that?!"
"THHHH..AAT" the creature copied, grinning.
You laughed again in surprise, shaking your head in amusement. Your heart racing at the fact that it had, teeth?!
"Okay, uhh, try, 'HI!'"
"HHHHH..HHHHHH..IIIII"
"H-i" You sounded it out, clapping your hands.
"HH-H-H-HI" Seek gurgled out, clapping its hands as well.
Your face contorted into a wide spread grin, you felt so giddy, so happy. In a long time in this place you felt at ease.

The utterly hilarious outcome that Figure got a ref before Eyes did despite the fact that Eyes had their design all plotted out long before Figure did.
Anyways have your husband @skeleton--orchestra @diantheia
Why did I cook shockingly well with this mf despite the fact he's in my honorable mentions in terms of favorite entities-

I fucking refuse to believe such a longtime, prolific DOORS writer only has ≈ 5,000 knobs.
Is the child support you're paying a couple of the entities that expensive?
A couple of entities? How many kids do you think I have???? I had a one night stand with A-120 and accidentally got them pregnant, that's all. What are you implying here???? I'm just broke ok.
The real reason is between work, many other video games and my genral day schedule (aka I mostly play video games between 9pm and 10:30pm on working days, and a few other times on days I'm not working), I don't get a lot of time to build a knob stash. I also have a bad habit of just quitting mid run to play another game, I probably should just let Rush kill me in those instances.

SEEK HEADCANON . WHENEVER THEY SEE A NEW CREATURE THEY MORPH INTO IT
LIKE IF A HUMAN WERE TO SHOW THEM A CAT THEY WOULD STARE AT IT FOR A SECOND AND THEN SLOWLY TRY AND COPY ITS SHAPE
AND DEPENDING ON HOW COMPLICATED THE SHAPE IS IT RANGES FROM EXACTLY THE SAME OR A SAD ATTEMPT OF THE CREATURE ITS TRYING TO IMITATE.
IMITATING NEW CREATURES IT SEES IS EITHER AN ATTEMPT TO UNDERSTAND IT, SHOW THE NEW CREATURE IT'S NOT A THREAT, OR JUST PURELY OUT OF CURIOSITY

DOORS - Prey with the raincoat - Part 1
Relationships: None Type: READER INSERT Words: 4,478
- - - - -
What rotten luck. Out of all nights, why did it have to be this one that your car decided to quit on you? It started out like a typical night. You were just making a quick run to get some snacks after getting off work and your car had suddenly decided to putter out and die on you in the middle of nowhere…during a heavy downpour…at night. Which meant no repairman was coming to your aid until dawn and you were all alone until then. It was a rather strange occurrence…since your car has always run fine and you rarely had any problems…until tonight. You quietly grumble to yourself as you hug your raincoat tighter to your trembling form, your small bag of snacks and drinks gripped tightly in one of your hands. The pouring rain soaks you to your bones as you trudge through the relentless downpour. The raincoat barely does anything to help keep you from getting wet or chilly from the torrential gale that rips past your form. Yet, you continue regardless. You drag your feet along the wet mud and soaked concrete, struggling to keep yourself from slipping and falling over as you continue to walk up the staircase towards your hopeful salvation. Your eyes glance up as you look up to a rather nice looking hotel, perched high up just on the hilltop. The same hilltop your car just happened to break down at the bottom of. Hopefully the hotel would be a comfortable place to stay while you wait out the rainy night and maybe they would even have a phone you could use! Since your phone was pretty much dead, and probably ruined from getting wet, it was your only limited option of being able to reach a repairman in the morning. Until then, you would have a nice place to sleep and keep warm on this chilly winter night. You noticed something strange, however.
There was no sign advertising the hotel…or…even if it was a hotel. This might just be some random person’s house or mansion for all you knew…even if they called the cops, hopefully you would still get some help. You just couldn’t sit in your car all night doing nothing. You already went through an exhausting road trip, so you just really wanted to go home. Besides, you would rather explain yourself to some cops than quietly freeze to death in your car overnight. Upon reaching the top of the hill, you carefully approach a pair of large wooden double doors. Despite the illuminated interior and welcoming atmosphere of the supposed ‘hotel’, you pause.
There was just…something about this building…it was giving you a bad feeling in your gut. But…where else could you go? What choice did you really have? You were already soaking wet, your car couldn’t go anywhere, and you had no method of communication. You didn’t really have a choice and you certainly weren’t gonna sit in your car now that you were all wet… So you push the feeling down and decide to enter the building. With a handle gripped in each hand, you pop the latch. They open with a resistant creak as you open it just wide enough to peek your head inside. It was…strange for it to not be locked…but the moment you stepped inside, you seem to realize why. So…it was a hotel. There was a desk with a key rack behind it, some comfy chairs in the waiting area, fancy paintings decorating the wall, and it even had a lit fireplace! You wasted no time in walking inside once you finished your brief visual inspection, allowing the large doors to slam shut behind you. You quickly wiped off your feet on the welcome mat and hurried over to where the fire was, eager to get rid of your lingering chill. You slip your soaked raincoat off and lay it on the ground near the fireplace to dry as you let out a brief shudder and rub your arms in an effort to chase off the remaining chill from the rain. You eye the cozy chairs that surround the fireplace and you shiver a bit as you take a moment to sit down in one to gather up your energy. Setting your bags of goodies down next to the seat, you let out a sigh of relief. At least you were safe, warm, and out of the freezing rain. You take a second to look around your surroundings, taking in the fancy-looking atmosphere that made up the hotel. With its wooden floors, elegant wallpaper, wooden furniture, and fancy paintings, you silently guess it was of a much more ‘upper class’ hotel. Thankfully, you’ll only be here for one night. So the money they would ask for shouldn’t hurt you TOO bad. Speaking of which…where was the clerk? Shouldn’t they have come back by now?
Your curiosity is suddenly piqued as you sit for a few more moments before getting up.
You approach the desk with growing confusion as you look around to see if there were any doors that led to the back or staff rooms…but you see none. You continue to gaze around and then you finally take notice of the desk bell. You silently figure that you would have to ring that to get service. So, you gently ring it. There was only silence that followed afterward, so you ring it again. Expecting someone to come and provide you with some service. But nobody came. “Hello??” You call out into the lobby, waiting for a reply. Again, you were met with silence. You look around in a confused manner before checking for any notes that may be laying around, but once more, you find nothing. Then, your eyes catch something interesting. In the back of the lobby, you see them. Elevators. There are two of them and they both seemed to be operating as one was simply sitting open. Your curiosity only grows, but you don't want to get into trouble by wandering around the hotel without consulting the clerk for a room to sleep in for the night… But…maybe you could go looking for the clerk? That wouldn’t be too bad to explain if you got caught walking around the hotel, right? You decided to think about it for a few minutes as you sit down by the fire once again to warm up and dry off before you make your next move. A moment of idleness passes and you finally decide to stand up, gather up your coat and goodies, and go looking for the clerk yourself. What could they possibly be doing that requires them to stay away from their desk for this long?? So you begin to head towards the elevators. It was rather eerie how one elevator was staying open no matter what…so you decided to walk inside of it. Then…that looming feeling of dread comes crawling back as you observe the buttons that lead to the lower floors. Correction…the single button that led to a lower floor. There were no numbers or designated floors for maintenance and staff…just a downward pointing arrow. You cast your gaze back to the lobby, seeing the large double doors so far away and the heavy rain still pouring down outside. A little feeling in your body was telling you–no–BEGGING you to get out of the elevator and run, but you merely stood there in confusion before brushing it off.
You were just nervous about going into the hotel without permission, it’s okay. No need to panic. So you merely push the downward button…and the dread only grows worse as the door to the elevator closes and it begins to descend. Your worries only amplify once you take notice of just how LONG the elevator is taking to reach the ‘second floor’. Suddenly, the elevator jerks. Sending your heart straight into your throat as it grinds against something in the shaft before continuing on, the light flickering for a moment before everything becomes stable again. Your heart thunders as the elevator music doesn’t calm your nerves in the slightest. Maybe you shouldn’t have gotten into the elevator…maybe you should’ve listened to your instincts… Something just kept feeling more…WRONG the deeper into the hotel you go. Then much to your surprise, the elevator finally stops and the door opens. Revealing a much smaller version of the room from before. There were paintings, a fireplace, tables, a desk with a bell, and a key rack. You step out of the elevator, completely ignoring how the doors suddenly close behind you without your input. Instead, the first thing you take notice of is the presence of windows.
Didn’t you just go DOWN into the hotel?? How were there windows here?? Despite your growing confusion, you refocus on the desk in the center of the room. Once more, you walk up to the desk and ring the bell. Similar to the main lobby, you get no response and you begin to ring the bell over and over in frustration. Only pausing when the bell actually BREAKS and you silently step away to avoid getting blamed for it. Upon looking around, everything in the room looked the same as before. However, you now take notice of the single door that displays ‘001’ on it. You see that it has a lock and with a brief look around, you see the key to said door hanging on the key rack. You, growing more impatient and worried, crawl through the baggage carriage that blocked the way behind the desk, and snatch the key from its place on the wall. You crawl back through and make it to the door and with a little bit of fiddling, the door suddenly swings open. Revealing a short hallway that leads to room ‘002’. You blink in surprise and the feeling of dread suddenly amplifies as you take a look back at the elevator, looking to see if you could go back. Finding the elevator door closed tightly and noticing the lack of call buttons. Suddenly…you feel as if you were in danger. It takes a bit for you to gain the courage to move on in the hotel, but door after door, the hotel only grows more and more strange. So much so, that it begins to feel like you were having a fever dream. There were numerous doors that were broken or blocked off by wooden planks, stairwells that didn’t lead to upper or lower floors, the layouts stopped making sense entirely, and there was a constant feeling of being watched and looming danger skulking about. Then, you have your first encounter. Upon opening door ‘014’, you take notice of how the lights flicker as you enter. Then, the sense of fear inside of you suddenly spikes as your heart begins to race. At first, you didn’t know why. Then… You hear it. Something was coming from somewhere behind you. Loud, bellowing, and quickly approaching. Deep within yourself, you could feel something urging you to HIDE!
You sink down into pure instincts and look around the room in a panic. You take notice of a wardrobe that was sitting off to the side and the same feeling inside of you tells you to hurry and hide inside of it! You sprint over and swing open the doors, finding the closet surprisingly empty. Without hesitation, you throw yourself into the closet and shut it quickly, listening as the noise grows louder and louder. Then, through the crack in the closet, you see it. A large being with a gray smiling face and a shadowy body races past your hiding place quickly. Bellowing loudly and shattering all the light fixtures that it passes. You even cover your ears as the beast charges past, its large toothy mouth agape, letting out its loud roar, and tearing through the room ahead of it recklessly. Then just as quickly as it arrived, it vanished like it wasn’t even there. Your heart was still thundering loudly in your chest as you struggled to process what just flew by your hiding place. Even worse, you swear that the darkness inside of the closet was moving and your heart rate grew even more rapid as you swore something was touching you and whispering ‘get out’ into your ears. In response, you bolt from the closet and out into the darkened room. With a quick few stumbles, you enter the illuminated room ‘015’ and collapse to the floor in shock. Your heart thundering in your ribcage and your eyes flicking about as you hold onto your bag of snacks like your life depended on it. What the FUCK was happening?!? What was that thing that flew by the closet?? What was that thing IN the closet?!! Why wasn’t this hotel making sense ANYMORE?!! You take rapid breaths to try and calm your heartbeat, but it did very little to help. You simply lay there on your back, panting and trying to regain your breath from your close encounter with death. After a few minutes, you manage to calm down just enough to finally stand back up and continue on your unwilling journey. Moving on through room ‘015’ to continue on through the endless rooms. You managed to discover a few interesting rooms, namely a painting room that involved a puzzle, multiple styles of studies, large rooms with numerous bedrooms in them, long hallways, and rooms with numerous closets or toppled bookshelves. In these numerous rooms, you even managed to find a lighter in a drawer. You also had more encounters with that large screaming shadow demon. Each encounter is as terrifying as the last as you hide in a closet and watch it rush past, screaming and tearing through the room with its large teeth. Until in one particular room. The moment you open door ‘023’ you are met with darkness. You pause at the entrance, looking into the darkened room in surprise as you blink. Worry eats at you from within, as you swear you can feel a presence lurking around in the dark from where you stand. Squinting a bit, you take notice of a locked door further into the room and a door off to the side. Great…it was locked and it was an office-type of room. Just judging on the familiarity of the layout. You take another moment to gather your courage and pull out the lighter you found. Upon flicking it to life, you walk into the inky black room, taking notice at how it seemed…darker than usual. Your light barely did anything to keep the darkness at bay as you walked along the wall and felt for the door to the office.
You feel the handle and turn it, opening the door to a cluttered office space that looked like someone was just moving in. Boxes, a bed, numerous unmarked crates, and a desk off to the side. Along with those ever present windows with the raining downpour still continuing outside. You quickly stride over to the desk and begin to search the drawers. Nothing notably interesting, except you managed to find some lockpicks. The key wasn’t here. You grumble a bit and then, much to your surprise, you sense something around you… “Psst.” You jump and look around rapidly and once your gaze lands on a floating inky-looking disembodied head with tendrils, glowing white eyes, and a wide toothy grin, you let out a loud scream. The creature does the same thing, except its screech is louder and piercing. Which made you visibly flinch and recoil in response to the sheer octave that the little being reached. Then, it rapidly disappears back into the darkness of the room. Your heartbeat thunders in your chest after the encounter and you try to snap out of it. You needed to get OUT of this dark room, now !
So you searched and searched, looking for the key. You even had to put out your lighter to prevent it from burning out on you too quickly. So now you were working in complete darkness with that thing lurking around you. Then, surprisingly…something in the room began to glow an eerie blue.
From a ways away, you take notice of a glowing key that was laying upon the ground. You hurry over to the luminous key, not really questioning at the moment how it was glowing, before hurrying out of the office. Even more interesting, the door itself was glowing that same eerie blue. With shimmering sparkles and a radiant aura that emitted from it. So you waste no time and head over to the door, the light providing you enough visibility to slip the key into the slot and pop the lock. The door to ‘024’ opens and you rush out of the dark room, doing a quick check around yourself to make sure that whatever that thing was didn’t follow you out into the light. Once in “safety”, you take a look back towards the door that you just came through. Seeing the sparkling blue light slowly fading away from the door until it was no more. Strangely enough…that light felt comforting.
It did help you after all…maybe whatever was causing those glows was…good? Benevolent, even? You just hoped that you had at least SOMETHING to rely on while you traverse this hellscape of a hotel. And so…you continue on through the rooms. Most of the rooms through 025 to 029 were uneventful. You just have another heartstopping encounter with the large rushing shadow monster in room 028, which you easily survived. However…when you enter room ‘030’, you encounter another monster. You are taken off guard when you hear a rather peculiar sound and suddenly something appears in front of you. A mass of eyes radiating a bright blue light appears in the middle of the room. At first, you thought it must’ve been the being that was guiding you through those dark rooms, but upon looking at it, you see its numerous pupils flash and multiple cuts begin to get slashed upon your body from seemingly nowhere. You flinch and fall down from the sudden pain, looking away from it as it hisses in agitation. You thought you were going to die, but as you lay there, the creature remained dormant. Not attacking you after you looked away from it. Taking this knowledge in hand, you regain your composure, pick up your stuff, and finally yourself up off the floor. Keeping your gaze away from the cluster of eyes glaring at you. You slink around it and manage to get to the next door.
Upon opening door ‘031’, the sound and light from behind you suddenly fades away. Looking back, you see nothing there. The eyes were gone…yet the cuts still remained.
You wince as you look around the room, finding it to be another multiple bedroom section of this madness-inducing hotel. Maybe you would be able to find something to help heal these injuries…so you began to look around. For the next few rooms, you managed to scrounge up a couple of bandages to help patch your injuries. For the rest of rooms ‘031’ to ‘034’, were primarily uneventful. Except with one small dark hallway and another visit from that shadowy smiling creature that tore through the rooms at the speed of sound.
But upon entering ‘035’, you take a moment to pause as a brief moment of panic goes through you when you see the lights in the room flicker. Instinctively, you run and hide in a closet.
But after a few minutes…you were met with silence. Trying to ignore the lingering sense of something in the closet with you, you wait a little longer than required just to be sure that the shadowy entity wasn’t on the way over.
After a few moments, you hurried to step out of the closet once you felt the presence within growing much more touchy-feely. When it began whispering into your ear in a hostile manner, you knew you had no other choice but to leave.
Upon looking around the room, you see no signs of that quick shadow demon. No distant roar. No flickering lights. Just silence. You figured that it must’ve been just the ambiance…until you felt something watching you. You take a closer look around the room, then you freeze in place when you see it. An eye. An eye was poking out of the wall from a black dripping mass that looked like a wound. The large singular pupil focused on you as you cautiously walked around it. Upon moving on to room ‘036’, you see the lights flicker again, but more eyes appear. It was a short hallway and the eyes, two of them, each watched you move from one end of the hall to the other, and you couldn’t fathom the feeling of dread that was starting to build up in your body.
Entering room ‘037’ and ‘038’ each had a similar experience. Except the eyes were practically everywhere by the last room. All watching you move about and do whatever you need to do. The chills you were getting were unreal and the paranoia you were experiencing was unlike anything you have ever experienced before.
Something BIG was coming. You felt it. The dread, the panic, the fear…you silently wonder if the eyes could sense it as well. But upon opening up door ‘039’. You find the place remarkably lit and free from those eye-like entities. It was just a long hallway. No closets, drawers, or tables to be found. Just more of those windows that you couldn’t see out of and more of the ever-present pouring rain. Still, that feeling of dread wouldn’t leave your body. You clutch your snack bag as close to your body as possible, squishing it into your raincoat, as you walk further into the hallway. As you drew closer to the end of the hall, you thought that it was just another typical hallway, like the ones before. Oh how wrong you were.
The sound of the floorboards creaking loudly behind you makes your head turn rapidly towards the source of the disturbance. Your heart stops as you see a pool of that black substance from before start to build up more and more until you see two “hands” emerge from it. A head then emerges and a single eye slips onto the “head” of the creature, with a few agitated pulls, tendrils of slime pop off of its form as the excess sinks back into the floor and the humanoid form is released.
The singular eye locks onto your terrified form and it lets out a distorted screech before it PHYSICALLY STARTS TO RUN AFTER YOU. You quickly turn around and bolt away from it into the next room. You scream bloody murder as you hear the loud thumping of footfalls from behind you and the walls being covered with eyes and an ominous red light. Your heart thunders inside of your chest and your legs are burning from the exertion. You break through another door and then you see furniture move on its own to block your path! You were about to panic until your eyes caught a quick glimpse of a familiar flurry of sparkles guiding you towards a hole in the blockage. To which you scurry through with reckless abandon. It isn't long until another attempted blockage is placed in your path, but with the mysterious light guiding you, you hurry through without a moment of hesitation.
You find yourself running through halls, each with barricades of furniture and ruined doors. But with only one door that would allow you through. The thundering footfalls from behind you almost sounded like they were closing in as you bolt through the halls to flee from the creature chasing you. Then upon flinging open the door to door ‘046’, the scene before you is nothing short of horrifying. A once grand hallway is turned into a war zone and large shadowy hands break through the elegant windows upon your entrance, reaching out around their limited space. The chandeliers that once hung from the ceiling now are nothing but a ball of fire on the ground. You couldn’t even take a moment to stop and think as you run about the room. Dodging fire, clasping massive hands, and the entity still hot on your tail from behind. You could see the open door in the distance and you almost feel a sense of relief. Possibly sensing your happiness, you hear the creature behind you let out a shriek of defiance as you sidestep the last large hand that tried reaching for you.
The moment you pass through the door, you slam into the wall of the next room. You pant desperately for breath as you turn around and let out a shrill scream, seeing the shadowy one-eyed entity running straight for you from the hallway.
SLAM! You jump out of your skin as the door that separated you both is suddenly slammed shut by a familiar shower of sparkles. The creature on the other side lets out a roar of frustration as it beats on the door. You lay there for a moment, not expecting the door to hold it back. But after a moment, the banging suddenly stops…and the dread you feel passes. Then, silence fills the room. Your desperate breaths are the only thing present in the room as you lay there and try to force yourself to calm down. That was too close. This place…what WAS this place?? How were there so many monsters in this building?! You…you could’ve died! Who knows what that thing would’ve done to you if it caught you! You lay there for a moment, clenching your bag of snacks for comfort as you struggle to calm down. A few seconds turns to minutes and you finally feel your heart rate dropping back to a normal pulse. A few more minutes pass and you regain the strength to get up and off the floor to continue on your journey. You look at the next door, seeing that it reads ‘048’.
Entering it, you find nothing but another short hallway. You easily pass through it, but upon entering ‘049’, you suddenly see what looks like to be the entrance to a grand study. There were a few bookshelves, a desk, a globe, numerous ruined books, and a large elegant entryway that read ‘050’ above it. You were about to think that the whole nightmare was over and that you were about to find the exit. Until you heard a very ominous reverberating growl come from the other side of the door. You could only gulp and tremble in fear while standing in front of the large door in question. It seems like your journey through this hellish hotel isn't over quite yet…
You just hope that you get out of here alive.

Seek is figure's seeing eye lover
Sober thoughts
Tw//Drunkenness (non-violent)
Seek is dealing with some stuff. It's not an alcoholic or anything it just had a bad day.
also, don't worry about Figure intentionally squishing Seek in its fist it's kind of like a hard reboot but for gay slime. It pops the air bubbles within its lover's mass (which appear from it boiling and is very unpleasant for the entity to deal with.) Figure also stretches Seek like play slime for fun, which feels like a back massage.
There must've been a party the night before, because it didn’t even make it out of the doorway..and that its stench was a filthy cleaver to wrenched into Figure’s sternum... Not that figure minded that much, but It didn’t take figure very long for the flesh-laden creature to feel out where its lover had dematerialized; more of an eye-laden stain on the floor then the puddle it typical rested. It felt dusty between its fingers. “Seek?” It clicked, brushing a gnarled finger up against the puddle.
There wasn’t a response.
It trilled anxiously, its fingers brushing up against its partner’s dark surface once more as it began to repetitively brush its palm up against Seek’s mass with more friction.
“Seek? Seek are you there? Seek? SeekSeekSEEK-
A malformed hand grasped Figure’s fingers and then promptly destabilized back into its puddle seconds later.
“..Shh, I heard you the first time.”
Figure stopped moving its hand and looked down towards where its partner was speaking.
“Why didn’t you answer me then?”
The puddle, still somewhat inert as its partner gently gathered it with a hand, the goopy entity slowly emerged from the fog as its eye peeled open.
“..I have had..t-too much.. sorry darling.” "I had an inkling you did, You smelt like our finest anyway."
"..My eyes..are still spinning.."
Figure bones cracked as it slowly made its way down to sit on the wooden floor, with a wince of its teeth it gently brushed the eye-filled glob in its hand with a tip of one of its finger. "We were all worried about you.." "..I think I drank myself into an alcoholic torpor last night..tell..tell everyone everything's off..tell them I'm sick or somᵉᵗʰᶦⁿᵍ.." Seek's voice rippled away into exhaustion.
Figure whined a little, it poked Seek with the tip of its sharpened claw-thumb. "Why did you even do that yourself? You’d have to drink hundreds of gallons to get even tipsy.."
The glob didn't answer, instead, Figure could feel some small black tendrils wrap themselves between the twisted fingers of its hand. "..Dearest, do you remember how sunlight feels on your skin?"
Figure scratched its head and trilled. "..Warm. I remember it all back before the exits closed..I liked to make mountains in the dirt and hide beneath them to cool off." "..It was always too damn hot out. I remember you once popping out from beneath them and scaring me too." "I didn't even know you could shriek that high," Figured chortled, "I still can hear the sound of you scream-melting into gravel." "...Dirt eater..I probably absorbed some on accident because of you, I felt heavier afterward."
"Never mess with my piles." "Kfft..I also remember.. you climbing trees with those big arms of yours... you'd sniff at the leaves that grew at the top.. and..eat bees from the beehive.. in the other tree next to it." "Did I tell you about how I ate them?" "No.. tell me.. how?"
"I squished them with my thumb and my pointer, then, I'd dip them into the honey like chips. I liked the grubs better, they tasted nutty and very crunchy, I should've brought some salt up there." "..Damn, that sounds like something that could've gone well with what I had last night..maybe if I dried them.." Seek's words trailed off into oblivion. "..Do you remember the back alley..?" "..The one outside..?" "Mhm.." "I still see it when I pass by windows.." "The real one, Seek." "...Barely." Figure raised its partner up close to the side of its face and lightly rubbed up against Seek’s face. "..Do you remember our..creature..the purring one?"
“..The cat?” "Yes.. that's what those are called?" "It was so soft and friendly..." "..Do you think its still there..waiting for us?"
Figure didn’t answer. It put its pressed its side of its head even deeper into the mass it had on its hand, which by now was unusually moist even for such an entity like Seek.
Figure could smell the scent of salt.
“..My Sweetness, I don’t want to die here. Not like this.”
“Do you want to leave..?” Figure trilled softly.
“...No. I know you like it here..I do too…Your library is my home..you’re my home…”
Figure could feel Seek mass begin to cascade.
“But this place, it isn’t our lovely home anymore..it’s a death trap Figure. A death trap.”
“That..thing..It twisted..f..Jeff.. It took Greed. It Took Depth…It took Silence..”
“I’m so sorry..”
“..I don’t..I don’t want to join them… I don’t want t-to die..I don’t want you, Screech, Snare, or anyone else I love to die being burned alive..!”
Seek made a sob that reverberated through its overwhelmed mass.
“Oh Figure..! I don’t-…It’s..”
Figure could feel its partner tense in its hand.
“It’s all my fault. I should’ve killed him. I should’ve killed him then and there. But I let him go sweetness. I didn’t kill him. WHY DIDN'T I KILL HIM LIKE I WAS SUPPOSED TO!-”
Figure quickly closed its hand into a fist, which caused the once bubbling, overwhelmed Slime to Involuntarily restabilize, leaving a shivering oozing mess in its wake.
“Oh..sweetness..my sweetness..I’m sorry I didn’t mean to yell..”
Figure looked down and trilled softly into its gooey fist.
“Kkhhrt..shhshhshhshh..it's okay, its okay..listen to my voice..”
Figure gently unfolded its hand and reunited its palm up against its cheek once more.
“You aren’t going to die here..if you do..apart of me will die with you forever and ever and ever and ever and none of our babies will ever, NEVER come close to it.”
“I don’t- I don’t know what I’m going to do about Jeff, I haven’t scented anything or heard anything nearby..”
Figure's words trailed off, how could it comfort someone who can feel its heartbeats, who could feel it blood pressure rise who lives in your veins and can feel the cortisol rush through its Adrenal glands? When you can't even assure itself?
“..He’ll slip up eventually..we'll kill him then..”
"..Are..are you worried..?"
"....A little...” Figure could feel a small tendril brush close to its face. Which, given its hungover state probably left a little bit of a smear.
“Please...don’t go away..”
“..Seek, I knew how you felt when..”
Figure made a clunky noise as it felt its partner begin to melt even more.
“..I know, but please..don’t..bring it up..”
Figure shook its head and brought Seek up to its chest, even from a few inches away it could feel the exhaustion pour through Seek’s mass.
“..You..You’re drunk..come here..”
“I don’t..I don’t think..”
“I’m so..rry...”
“Just come here..”
Figure felt a tendril prod it as its partner instinctively evaporated its way into Figure’s chest and slowly make its way its way into shared consciousness as the blind entity could feel tendrils find purchase in its brain as sleepy eyes sprouted from its host’s arms.
Figure could feel the excess alcohol seep into its muscles, with a distressed whistle it curled up on the floor and wrapped its arms around its shoulders.

Headcanon dump ig!!
Pls ignore any grammar mistakes, I'm borderline illiterate
Guiding Light
They feel a bit like an only parent sometimes, having to deal with everyones bullshit.
They may not be physically strong but their magic overpowers most of the entities.
They get exited over the smallest things.
At first hey would have never even consider harming the entities, but because of some *incidents* they had to resort to restraining (via the crusifix) them from time to time.
Figure
He was a soldier before becoming what he is now.
They go around the hotel barking commands at the others.
He believes hes entitled to unconditional respect because they're the oldest (well other than GL).
Hes the "brutally honest" kind of person.
Ambush
They could, and absolutely would, break the sound barrier (if given the space to gain speed).
They have a hard time standing in place for longer than a few minutes.
They fiddle with anything they're given.
So far they've crashed into at least 90% of furniture in the hotel.
They constantly get bruises and scratches but they fade really quickly.
Because of them a "no caffeine" policy was implanted.
Rush
They ask "But why" constantly.
They ask a shit ton of questions then don't listen to the answers.
🎶who stole the cookies from the cookie jar?🎶 Rush did. No elaboration.
Any amount of sugar gets them hyper.
They've created several dents in walls by running into them at like 80mph.
They accidentally stepped on a snare once, now they're scared of the greenhouse. They still however go there because Jack dares them.

so i heard you're taking doors requests... wiggles eyebrows might I request possibly Ambush x reader fluff thingy?? this is my first request so sorry if its weirdly formatted LOL
Tumblr media
Might as well answer these both in the same post soo sure! and youre good, the format is just fine lol. I'll do headcanons for this one to get a general grip on Ambush since I just started writing for Doors
and I hope you dont mind but I headcanon Ambush as male(he/they)- I know a lot of people see them as female so just letting you know preemptively More under the cut cuz this was long again
===========================
Ambush x Reader [Headcanons, fluff]
-> While it may not seem like it- Ambush is one of the most patient entities in the Hotel, with his speed if he were to be constantly patrolling the Hotel as his brother does- he'd come up more often than not bite a chunk out of you
-> His strategy is usually to stalk "Players" until he finds a moment he feels you feel safe enough, to then shatter that safety to pieces as he comes screeching sounding as if a car engine and a broken vacuum had a baby- then do a couple run backs through the room you're in to see if you slip up on the timing you get in and out of the closet
-> So you can imagine with you it wasn't any different, he stalked you around after you got out of the Library and left Jeff's shop. he was a bit intrigued by how far you've gotten, then again, many others survive up to 100 and go down that elevator only to wind back at the Hotel's Lobby
-> Though you were... different, I guess you could say, he didn't know how to describe it too well, the way you marched door after door, collecting money from drawers and desks- you seemed determined to get out of here, and he's seen you a few times before, you look familiar, and he's not one to forget appearances easily. he found it.. charming, to say the least, you looked so determined to leave you'd be willing to go through this nightmare again and again? He'd applaud you if he weren't trying to be sneaky
-> Then again, many others had a similar determination, but some didn't come around too often, sometimes taking months to be even spotted walking through the halls of the Hotel. but you, you came frequently. he wasn't allowed in the lobby unlike Timothy, Sally, and Seek's Crescendo(which in reality is just Hide warning his brother of where the Players are and how close they are to Seek), and none of them really mention it at all so his guesses are those people just hang around there doing whatever until they decide to run through the Hotel again
-> And since you caught his eye, you are prompted to either feel like you're being watched a lot or have Ambush come a bit more often than he usually would- which makes you joke that he's pissed off at you or get annoyed about it
-> As time went by, and a lot of him watching you from a distance- his interest in you grew into a desire to actually meet you, know who you are, your interests, your likes, pet peeves, so on. You barely bump into other Players around the Rooms and Halls you go through due to the Hotel's nature- you enter an elevator alone and it's going to be just you and you alone unless the Hotels falters and shoves you with someone else you may or may not know at all. he has no idea how the real you is like since he's only seen small comments or curses you throw at certain entities like Screech or El Goblino if you even stop for a chat
-> And so for the past few times you passed around he's been trying to muster the courage to go talk to you or ambush you when your guard is down in hopes he can catch you for a chat. He's kind of socially awkward with people he knows dont like him or have never directly talked to him so it's a bit of a struggle for him- then he ends up just impulsively charging at you, which of course prompts the little 'game' every player does to avoid him in response
-> However, on one particular day, you slipped up. you entered the closet too soon- and Hide wasn't in a good mood that day, Ambush ran the first time to the door but before he could bounce back to the previous rooms, Hide pushed you out, you hit the floor with a soft 'thump' and a groan as Ambush stood there in shock. he looked at the closet as Hide's arms slithered back into the confines of it, then looked back down at you, who had the same expression of shock and terror as you stared at him with wide eyes, face softly lit by the green and purple light he emanated. you looked beautiful...
-> You both stood in silence before he moved slightly toward you, making you close your eyes and brace yourself, waiting for death... but death never came. You opened your eyes again when you heard footsteps hit the carpet.. footsteps? Ambush doesn't have feet- peeking from behind your arms, you were shocked to see.. Ambush, but- with a body-... waht
-> He wore a light cream-colored button shirt with a dark green vest and pants, black dress shoes along with a light green ribbon to top it off. behind his head, you could see slightly translucent tentacles that seemed to mimic hair? they glowed within the darkroom along with the same.. matter making up Ambush's neck, was that what caused the glow he emanated when he bounced by?
-> He was crouched in from of you, both knees on the ground as he hovered a skeletal hand over your shaking form.. you didn't even notice you started to shake. He attempted to speak- though only his signal yell sounded for a brief moment, making you wince since he was so close to you. He cleared his throat, seeming to avert his eyes to the side briefly as his mouth closed side to side- which made sense but it still looked weird to you-
"are... are you alright?" his voice finally came through, it was hoarse and a bit scratchy, as if he'd screamed his lungs out yesterday and lost his voice, which again- makes sense with how he screams, it had a hint of a Boston accent too
"uh....-" you were speechless, wondering if you were in a dream, and even in a dream you can't escape this place? damn. he read your confused expression and averted his eyes again "it's... hard to explain.. yknow- this?" he motioned at himself "but we're not exactly corporal, so it is possible for this to happen.-- anyway- Hide- pushed you out pretty hard-..."
He offered a hand for you to get up, you stared at his hand, unsure of why he was trying to help you, you dont know if you can trust him- after all, as far as you know he's tried to kill you. "... why... why are you helping me?... aren't you supposed to have killed me by now?" you asked, fixing sitting up from the ground a bit, Ambush looked a little apprehensive, his hand twitched slightly away
".. I- I know it may be hard to believe but... you interest me.. you caught my eye, and I wanna learn more about you." you sat there confused at his words "why me though?" the room fell silent, only the faint buzzing from his form barely hitting your ears as he looked at the ground, seeming to think about your question, he shrugged a few moments later "... I can't.. explain... you're just-... interesting."
-> after that little moment, you walked to the other room that was lit so you didn't run the risk of getting yourself bit by Screech and just- talked, about anything really, though most of the conversation was you asking questions about him and the other entities, after all its not every day you get to have an actual conversation with one of these beings that usually are out to kill you. though you still expected this to turn out to be a dream, you expected to wake up in one of the beds in the hotel or back in the Lobby
-> After that day- you half expect things to go back to the usual normal of the Hotel, Rush zooming by, Screech occasionally being an annoyance, the usual. But you were surprised by Ambush tapping your shoulder at Door 2 on your next run, scared the shit out of you-
-> And it's been like that ever since, he'd tap on your shoulder every time you came back around the first 15 doors and accompany you through the rest of the run- aside when it was dark rooms, Seek's chase, or the Library- anything that involved other entities that could see him with you- he would just- vanish until you got passed them... he didn't want to risk being isolated for talking to a Player instead of killing them.. the others could even understand a little if he explained well but- if Jack got hold of that information... he might be as well as dead again
-> You've begun to enjoy his company, you'd joke around and talk about things from before you got stuck in the Hotel, and he'd occasionally drop some of his lore as well- though he doesn't remember much from before he became Ambush
-> It wasn't long before he realized he'd gotten feelings for you, love, that was it, he remembers the feeling but he didn't even know if he could still feel it... glad to get that uncovered- now difficult if going to be Confessing his love for you. as I said, his social skills are kinda below average- so it takes him a lot of hyping himself up and chickening out to figure out how to confess... meanwhile with you- you were so incredibly confused about how you fell for the alien skeleton looking entity in the first place, maybe it was his voice or the way he was so kind to you? you really didn't know-
-> The day he confessed was a day like any other, you both sat in the garden before the Greenhouse, the rain a little less aggressive than usual as it hit the roof of the pathway, sitting towards the statue you heard other Players theorize could be a representation of the Guiding Light. At the moment he was sitting beside you listening to you tell him about the mentioned theory, he softly gazed over your smaller form, resting his head in one of his hands, a smile curling up on his lips as you chatted away about theories you and other players have come up for the hotel
-> Soon you finished talking, finally looking up at him to see his reaction as you had been looking everywhere but at him as you talked. a sudden feeling of warmness overtook his body, feeling as if butterflies fluttered around his stomach the more you stared at him, as much as he wanted to look away as he got more overwhelmed with that warm, fuzzy feeling- his body made no effort to glance away, he wanted you looking at him, he craved your attention.. he wanted to hold you, he wanted to love you
-> "... god, I love you...." he blurted out, not even realizing what he said until your face grew red, then his face just glowed in a green blush, he tried to explain himself but all attempts were futile since the more he tried to speak, the more flushed he got. Eventually, he just sighed in defeat..
"... there's no out of this one... its- its true- [Name], I love you, I really do... you're just- I can barely even explain- you're perfect in every way I can think of, your voice sounds heavenly, your quirks are incredibly charming- you're the most amazing person I've ever met... I understand if-- if you dont feel the same but- I needed to get that outta my chest.." he sighed, looking at you with eyes that pleaded with you not to hate him, not to snap at him with insults and 'why would I even like a monster like you?', though he still braced for the worst
though surprise hit him full force "I... I love you too, Ambush-... I... I do, I really do..." you looked at him softly with a small smile, you spoke a bit more- feeling as if you needed to also express what made you fall for him the way you did, even though you struggled to put it into words- he only looked at you with bewilderment
You heard a small... rumbling sound, like a purr almost? but not quite at the same time, you trailed off, trying to figure out where the sound came from before you realized- it came from Ambush, you were about to ask about it but before you could, he gently leaned his forehead on yours, purr growing noticeably louder as he nuzzled into you, wrapping his arms around you in a hug
he thanked you, so many times, he sure sounded happier than ever before right now, you chuckled, wrapping your arms around his neck to hug him back. you sighed contently, I guess now you two were a couple.
-> And now for dating headcanons because I took too long on the meeting shit
-> He loves being in your presence, hanging around you or so much as knowing your in the next room over counts I guess
→ He's not the biggest on PDA but its often that he'll at least bw holding your hand at times in public or stand pretty close to you in general. He does get flustered really easily if you give him kisses when he doesnt expect it or is in a public setting
→ Speaking of Public, he told Rush about your relationship at the very least, and he was ecstatic, his bro finally bagged someone? Color him surprised! He didn't bag shit. Actually- a little too excited- he told most of the Hotel next you knew... Minus Jack, Jack doesn't get to know of it. None of you know what he'll do to you or Ambush if he knows..
-> Some support your relationship (such as Rush, Screech, Sally, Dupe, Jeff, and Bob), others are apprehensive of it but if it makes You and Ambush happy then so be it, they'll try to remember your face and not kill you too brutally if they can help it- (Seek, Hide, Figure, Eyes, Halt and Goblino), others dont like the idea at all either because they think it's too dangerous or you shouldn't be together in general (Guiding Light and Jack(if he knew) respectively)
-> But you bother are happy with each other and aren't going to break up any time soon I'm sure
-> While he does run very fast for a decent period of time- Ambush gets pretty bad fatigue once he's done, which is why he usually appears once and fucks off for a while to rest up after so- usually if you're not going through the Hotel and is just chilling in a room somewhere he's likely to join you for cuddles if he's not with you already, sometimes this man will just refuse to get up to hunt other Players if you're already cuddling
-> As much as he's the most logical and... less energetic between him and Rush- he's just as stubborn. need to get up to continue your run? 5 more minutes with him, cmon you've done this plenty already, take a break. need to go over to Jeff to buy some food cuz you're hungry? nope, you just stay there, Ambush will get it for you- AH AH- stay there, he'll be back in seconds. Want to go check out what the Rooms are all about-- Do Not. Please. No. Don't go there.
-> He's very touch starved and at the same time touch repulsed- only very few even get to tap his shoulder without him flinching away and getting upset at them or getting straight-up killed(if you're a random player with no links with him), so if you want to give him Physical affection- tell him you want to(at least at the start of your relationship), it's fine when he's consensual about the contact or initiates it in the first place. Later on, he gets more comfortable with you and he'll accept you initiating contact without needing to ask all the time
-> He also enjoys laying on you when cuddling as you gently caress his face or his head, it fills him with so many butterflies you have no idea. and he'll return the favor in kisses and do the same to you when it's your turn to lay on him, also give him kisses while holding his face in your hands, and he will melt /pos
-> He's also very attentive to detail, he'll remember the tiniest of things about you and your likes and what you dont like and use that to get you gifts from either players he killed that had something you liked or random trinkets he thinks you'd like that spawn around the Hotel at times
-> He's also very interested in fashion, he knows quite a bit about color theory and clothing combos so if you dont know what to wear, he's the guy you can count on to help you. Just give him a general vibe you're aiming towards and he'll do his best to find good options for you around that. He also learned how to tailor outfits with Glitch, the perks of being one of the oldest entities of the Hotel, he will make you an outfit do not test him
-> Remember when I mentioned the tentacle thingies on the back of his head? yeah those act like hair, they feel smooth and a bit rubbery and act like how Splatoon hair works, you can cut it, braid it, tie it up, anything- it has no pain receptors so he wouldn't feel pain if you cut it or tied it too tight, though it still kinda moves with his emotions or just idly
-> He loves you a lot, and he's glad you choose to stay with him. he promises he'll try his best to make you happy :]

Excerpt from that Ambush fic cus why the hell not hehehehe >:)
These four words would repeat through your head as you fiddle with the bow of the present pastel-colored box in your hands. The present you hold was one of the few things that you(with the help of Glitch, Halt, and Eyes) had planned for this special day. So many thoughts would run through your mind as you continue to play with the bow’s silky ribbon out of fear. “What if she says no?” You ask yourself in thought. “What if she just wants to be friends? What if this makes things super awkward between us? Am I rushing this? What if she was not even into me? What abo-”
Before you could continue to psych yourself out with any more rambling questions, knocking at the door would disturb your thoughts as you turn your head towards the offending noise.

Hi Can you do more of Seek x reader headcanon ? Or rush x reader ambush too pls 🛐
ooooo!! :]]]
⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆
[HEADCANNONS]- Seek x Reader
seek is very protective of you, will make a protective shield around you if any player or cryptic tries to hurt you,, even make a snide comment to you
cuddles!!! seek loves cuddles, sneak cuddles are it's fav!!
sometimes, in it's "human form" it asks you to teach it to dance and paint!
seek loves to dance ball room dancing! any classical, slow paced dancing, with paintings, it loves to paint landscape! at the beginning, seek was not good at it but it learned to form better, stronger fingers to paint!
it's speech is getting better! it can now form *short* and smooth sentences, when it isn't expressing a lot of emotions, so when seek is much more calm, it can make fluent sentences!
you can seek do speech lessons, thats how he's learning! (also you showing diagrams of how mouths work LMFAO)

jeeze these guys can't stop spoiling you (it's always a competition with gifts)
when these two aren't trying to out gift each other, they are always trying to take you too every place in the hotel
remember when was seek being overprotective,, yeah, imagine if THEIR s/o was hurt or harmed. hotel? trashed.
when alone though, they are both so cuddly and sweet, (if you could touch them) they would purr and cuddle like cats!, but since you can't really touch them,, they find other ways to show love, (presents, protection,,)
When they did confess, rush was more of the shyer cryptic from the two, which was surprising!

Dear god I doodled something and it is the Light Trio (Nefarious Light is slowly slipping out of being just in the abyss for me and idk how to feel about that... I love her too much)
I have a feeling a certain someone is going to have a few choice words about all three of these guys

Hadn't done chaos, chaos in a while, and apparently I am still the Snare summoner.

I think that loving Screech should be what finally kills Seek and it should be completely agonizing and horrible or just slow, brutal acceptance of that love and the death that will..inevitably come with it.
Au, AU AU AU YIPEE
Seek looks into the newborn Screech’s eyes..and just immediately knows they’re looking into the eyes of their killer.
Ehehehdhdhgrfhe eheheh the visceral feelings must be..extreme
