Dating Inounoshishi while transiting is actually ideal

Not only does she support you and whatever gender you want to be, but mama has money and is going to pay for it

You're her darling, why wouldn't she pay to keep you happy?

She's also going to take you shopping. She loves shopping and the idea of getting you a whole new wardrobe is to good.

Just be nice and say thank you, and show how much you appreciate her

Honestly? She never got to figure out who she really was/is as a person since she was always trying to please her parents. Seeing you figure out/announcing who you really are is really motivating for her.

Dotsuku

Doesn't have a problem with it.

May occasionally slip up on your pronouns, but always corrects himself immediately. After a week? Doesn't mess up again

Dog. Loyal. He's not about to let something like you being who you really are affect what he thinks of you.

Added bonus: His daughter just rolls with it. Kids aren't as stupid as people make them out to be. If you used to be a princess/prince, you're now the opposite. The real question is, what kind of super hero cape do you want?

Dostuku will help with your medical bills. If doctors give you shit for it, the man has connections. He will find a good doctor who respects you and get your surgery (if you so choose) taken care of

Niwatori

The whole idea of being trans is a little confusing at first for her, but it takes about 000.1 seconds for her to decide it doesn't really matter?

Her whole life she's been a tool for the family, with you she's a person. In the end, no matter how you identify, as long as you still love her that's what matters?

Does a TON of research. She gets books, medical journals, ect. She uses her contacts to find doctors for you, and don't worry. Cost isn't an issue.

Anyone who tries anything just...vanishes. You know from that weird smile she gets she 110% had something to do with it

If you ever feel ad or dysphoric about your body, she's very supportive.

Sharyu

She already knew. She's very perceptive, and was just waiting for you to be comfortable telling her.

The most supportive.

Does whatever she can to make you comfortable. If you want new cloths, she'll shop with you. If you're to embarrassed to go to a store, she'll order online.

Never uses the incorrect pronouns for you.

Will put one of those little trans flags in the window of her apartment.

If there's a pride event, will go with you.

Arranges a good doctor for your transition when you're ready, and will go to appointments if you're nervous

Hitsujii

He's old, and has seen it all. He may be older, but he's not going to question it.

One of those "Whatever makes you happy" people

Doesn't understand a lot of surgery details and hormone stuff. He'll try to research it, but you may have to help him learn terminology. He does catch on fast

The idea of surgery freaks him out because he has no control. He’d help you, but he is going to be silently panicking on the inside

Uuma

Actually really cool with it? Just tell him you still love him. The first thing he worries about is that you’re going to become this amazing you, and the you that loved him wont love him anymore

Really supportive? Doesn’t know a lot about trans issues, but he tries

He will probably buy you anything with the trans flag on it. 

If you have surgery, he’s going to make sure only the BEST doctors do it

Listens when you talk if you have feelings to get out. It just makes him really happy you’re confiding in him

Takeyasu

Trans? Cool. Fine. Help him pull off this heist

He really doesn’t care, if you’re happy he’s fine with it? 

Actually brings up frogs that can change their gender, and that there’s a species of lizards that reproduce without asexually. If reptiles do it, why can’t people?

Gives you money for surgery if you wanna get it. Worries through the entire thing, but only Nagayuki knows about his brother internal freak out

Also, shopping spree. Criminal shopping spree. grab and RUN

Has trouble using the correct pronouns, but tries really hard and corrects himself. 

Nagayuki

He already knew way before you told him. He’s perceptive, smart, and also finds your online content. Really, he was just waiting for you to tell him yourself

Probably gets you a tray of cupcakes with the frosting colored with the trans flag colors. He likes snacks, any excuse to get snacks and make you happy? Killing two birds with one stone

Master of your pronouns and possibly your new name

You know how hard it is to change your name? This dude hacks into the systems and does it in a night. 

Helps you get surgery if you want it. Not emotional about it, but will hold your hand if you want him to. 

Ushii

Help him. He doesn’t understand trans when you first bring it up, but when you explain it clicks

Now he is fully on board and ready

While he can’t keep up with a lot of LGBTQ+ terms, he supports you and what makes you happy. You want to be the gender you’ve always wanted? No problem. Just tell him what he needs to do

Has fought someone who purposely misgendered you before. 

Will take you shopping if you’d like

You want surgery? He knows people. Honestly? He’s so well known that the doctors are volunteering to make sure it gets done properly.

Never once messes up your pronouns.

Tora

She’s seen so much on the battlefield that when you tell her, she’s not that concerned. It’s great that you trust her, and she will support you but...You’re not going to leave her, right? 

Cuzz she loves you with all her heart and if someone like you can become every more yourself (and therefor more amazing) why would you stay with a screw up like her?

After she gets past her insecurities, Tore is very supportive of you

Has punched a guy in the face for being rude to you. Maye have started a street brawl over it, it’s fine. She won.

Surgery freaks her out no matter what is it, but she’s going to be there if you want it. She may just cry when you can’t see her. What if something goes wrong???

It wont and you’re fine but you wake up and she’s crying like a BABY

Usagi

This...is kind of a disaster? Not in the way you’re thinking

He gets all your pronouns right, and quickly is VERY excited to call you his new girl/boy friend. 

But uh...people may die...A lot of people

If he notices that people give you weird looks, they’re dead. He will FIGHT and MURDER people who are transphobic (but what’s the loss really?)

Loves to shop with you, and tries to pull things he thinks you’d like (probably kills people there too, RIP)

If you want the surgery, you have to do the research. Usagi doesn’t get it. HOWEVER he will help pay...sort of

Please Don’t Bite Me | Dotsuku x Reader

Haha here we go, *cracks knuckles* another one shot. Just so you guys know, requests– for anything Juni Taisen related(obviously)– are open! I don’t really know if it’s a spoiler, but if you’ve read his backstory on the book you’re fine. Resurrection AU– after the war has ended. This will be in second point of view.

Y/n was shopping with her friend one day and a little girl wanted her help on finding her adoptive father.

“Ooo~ this looks cute!” you lift a shirt with your favorite color, “oh man, this one is cute too!” You smile, holding both of the shirts side by side, trying to solve the dilemma as soon as you an, so you can move on.

“How about this shirt? It matches your eyes and hair!” your friend points out with a grin, lifting a shirt that is surprisingly your size.

“Ho- never mind that, I’ll take it!” you place the shirt back on its rack and reach for the shirt in your friends grasp.

“Hehe,” she begins to tease you and lifts the shirt high so you can’t reach.

“H-hey! F/n that’s not fair!!” You tell her, pouting and jumping to reach for it.

“Yes it is.”

“Since when was teasing a friend fair? I’ve never heard anyone say that.”

“Well, you have now.”

“That’s not the point! Give me the shirt f/n!” you jump once more before you give up. Of course, that’s when your friend gives you the shirt. “You’re so mean!”

“Sorry! It’s just cute when you’re mad, plus you’re easy to tease,” she chuckles and walks away from you to continue her own shopping. You sigh and turn around so you don’t stand around looking like an idiot.
“Excuse me ma’am,” a young girl tugs at the rim of your shirt, causing you to flinch at the sudden contact and movement.

“Hm? Oh yeah?” you do your best to sound polite and smile.

“Can you help me find my guardian? I can’t find him anywhere..” her pure, cute smile puts you into a short trance.

“Huh? Sure, just let me pay for this, do you think you could wait a minute?”

“N-no..” she gives you the cutest puppy eyes you can’t ever ignore.

“F-fine,” you look away, “just don’t use that on me again, please.” You turn to your friend who appears to be looking at you, and you give her the look, showing her you’ll be back in a few. She gives you the approving nod, and you set off to help find the little girl’s guardian.

“What does your guardian look like?” you question as you walk around the mall slowly, looking around.

“Um… he’s tall, has fangs, he’s very kind!” she exclaims. You giggle and stop walking.

“Ah, okay.. is that him?” you point at a man who’s walking around frantically.

“Huh? Him? Mm’hmm!!” The little girl grabs your hand and pulls you over to him. Your feet stumble over each other and you become an embarrassing mess. “Papa!!” she tugs your hand and you look up at the man. Up close, he appears taller than expected to be.

“Oh, hello! I’m y/n! Your daughter asked for my help to find.. you..” you slow down as he looks at you. You gulp and look away from his intimidating appearance. Almost immediately, he yanks your arm and brings it to his mouth, where his fangs shine from the lights. “Eek! P-please don’t hurt me!!”

“Y/n, huh? That’s a nice name. Thank you for finding her, I was worried she would get kidnapped,” he smiles at you, causing you to immediately smile back. “Also, I’m sorry about what I did.” You pull your arm away from his mouth and hold your hand out for him to shake. When he releases, you feel something in your hand; a slip of paper.

“Hm?” he grins at you and hold his daughter close to him, the young girl’s grip releasing from yours in the process.

“See you next time, y/n.”

I love Dotsuku NGL. I hope you like it!

It was sprinkling at first. It was just a light rain, nothing big. It was easy to go from outside in the light sprinkle to the warm café. The bell dinged as you entered, and you wiped your  shoes on the mat to keep from tracking anything in. The smell of coffee and vanilla wrapped you in a blanket. The café was small, and not very well known. Being family owned they didn’t move as quickly as the more popular grab-and-go coffee places. Though this place also offered a variety of teas, pastries, plus hot chocolate. 

You supposed the smells are probably why Dotsuku liked this place so much. It smelled good, and usually lacked the loud, boisterous, obnoxious, people that frequented the more popular shops. Plus, it had a lot of overstuffed chairs so someone could curl up away from everyone else and have their own bubble of peace. That’s where you spotted him, Dotsuku was in a corner reading a paper and drinking coffee. 

“Hey,” His ear twitched, and he looked up. You swore you almost saw his tail wag. No you did, you heard a soft thump as it hit the side of the chair afterwards. 

“Hey,” He folded the paper, carefully laying the creases with his sharp nails.

“How are you?” You asked, he just shrugged and put a drink in front of you. A small waft of steam came out from the opening. You slid into the seat next to him. His face went pink for a moment, but quickly returned to normal as he tried to distract himself with conversation. 

“Fine, you? Also I guessed, on the drink. You got that drink last time so I ordered it again,” He awkwardly motioned to your drink. His eyes focused on you, watching. You took a sip after blowing on it for a few moments. You smiled. It was perfect! 

“I’m good, this is good,” You reassured him. He seemed happy, if his grin was any indication. He took his own cup of coffee with one hand and after catching himself staring a smidge to long he turned to the window. 

“It’s raining like crazy out there now isn’t it?” The rain had begun a chorus on the window outside. You leaned over him a little to get a better view. You heard his tail hit the chair again.

“It really is, huh?” You looked on, feeling just a little bit bad that a few people were running like crazy from the growing storm. The bell at the front door went crazy as a few people saw the opportunity and took it, invading the sweet little café. The increased number of people must have made Dotsuku nervous, because his lip curled. 

In reality he was just a bit mad that his time with you had be rudely interrupted. He wasn’t going to tell you that though.  Most of the people just stayed by the door, or went for an empty chair or table on the other side of the room. Maybe they thought better of invading the space of someone who looked so intimidating. 

“I’m just glad we got seats,” He sipped his drink, and turned his attention back to the window. He didn’t see anyone threatening, so he was comfortable taking his eyes off the door for a while. 

“Yeah,” You sat in a comfortable silence, just sipping your drinks and listening to the rain as it came down 

“Hey,” You looked over at him, and wolfish grin had taken over his expression. You just tilted your head, a little nervous and confused. Why was he looking at you like that?

“Something about the rain makes me want to kiss you,” You blushed. He just said it so straight forward. Your brain must have stopped working because the next thing you heard was him ask.

“So, can I?”

“Y-Yes!” His grin just got wider, and he kissed you. His lips were a little chapped, and he smelled of coffee and something just a little bit like copper. He just smelled so much like him.

Maybe it should rain more often.

Headcanons: Walking through the leaves with  Dotsuku ft. his daughter

“Can you come walking with us? Please?” The small girl hand her hands balled into small fists and she bounced in place, needing something to do to get her energy out. Michio put a hand on her head, but it didn’t stop her. They were your neighbors. 

“I don’t kn-,” She cut you off. 

“Please!” She whined. “Papa doesn’t have any friends and it gets boring cuzz he has nothing new to say anymore!”

“Hey,” He had a warning tone in his voice, almost a growl. She didn’t seem worried though. The few times you did hear him talk it was usually some sort of rumble, though it did get her to temporarily stop talking. It wasn’t soon enough. She also didn’t stop bouncing. His nose had wrinkled, and he looked anywhere but your direction. 

She won out, and you accompanied them on their walk. 

His daughter holds his hand all the way down the paths in the park. She eventually takes yours too, so she can swing between you two

You find out Michio is colorblind when his daughter goes in depth describing colors to him, trying to use other descriptors.

She finds “extra crispy” leaves for you to crunch in your hands, and you throw it in the air. It falls like confetti and she laughs like a maniac while dancing in it.

You get to talk with Michio, and he says only a few words back, but his daughter is MORE than happy to fill in any gaps.

You somehow get invited to breakfast, because “My Papa makes the best eggs!”

You and his daughter grab a bunch of leaves to make a pile for her to fall in. He’s helping, but when he’s not looking you two gang up on him and throw piles of leaves on him. He makes an attempt to snag you guys (obviously not trying very hard) but you run off laughing. He was laughing a bit too. 

You guys eventually make a big pile of leaves and his daughter spends at least an hour jumping into it. Somehow she gets a few other kids to jump in with her when they see how much fun she’s having. It turns into a field of children playing in copious amounts of leaves. They make a “super pile” with team work. It’s actually pretty impressive. Michio is taking lots of pictures of his daughter. 

You’re kind of surprised when Michio throws himself in to play with the kids. He’s actually really good with them. By the time everyone heads home, not one kid has skinned their knee or hurt themselves. You hear more than just a few parents ask him to babysit. 

As you walk back home he carries her, since she’s falling asleep.

“Papa, you should hold their hand, I think they like you” She was trying to whisper, but failed. You heard. He hesitates, so you take his hand instead. He’s not blushing, no it’s the light. 

“See? Told you” She falls fully sleep after. 

When you get back to the apartments, you say goodnight. 

“Thanks for coming with us, it was a lot of fun. You really can come for breakfast tomorrow, if you want...But you don’t have to”

“I’d love to”

Nezumi hosts

Everyone votes Usagi off immediately. Game starts and they kill him.  RIP.

 Nezumi does have the settings so they don’t know if they got it right or not (they did not, poor Usagi, he’s still having fun being a ghost)

Sharyu is 10/10 focused on tasks, and Sheep followers her around a lot

Nagayuki has this game almost down to a science, as does Nezumi. It’s great, but a problem for the imposters

Takeyasu is figuring out the controls and is easily distracted

EMERGENCY MEETING

Tora is dead. No one can decide on who killed her, the turn passes

Tasks are getting done, but another body

MEETING

Uuma is dead. The group decides to vote off Takeyasu, who denies he did anything wrong. Nagayuki says he did it. They believe Nagayuki. 

Takeyasu is yeeted from the game

Inounoshishi is the next to die. Sharyu tries to convince them that Hitsujii is sus. Nezumi covers for him. They decide to vote off Nagayuki, since they think Takeyasu wasn’t the imposter 

Dotsuku dies next. Everyone is surprised he made it this far. Somehow Ushii surmises that Sharyu is pretty sus, since she’s manipulated most of the votes. Everyone is just surprised that he’s still playing and not doing awful

Niwatori defends Sharyu. No one gets voted off. 

Sharyu dies next. Nezumi accuses Niwatori, and she gets sent off. 

Hitsuji dies.

Imposters win

Nezumi and Ushii are the victors. No one is sure HOW THE HELL Ushii did so well. Honestly, it makes sense. He kept asking how to do tasks. They all assumed he was stupid, but he was actually the imposter. Whoops.

Everyone demands a rematch 

Honestly, it’s like the actual Juni Taisen, but without all the...real death, and more fun? It brings them all closer.
