In My Reality | Chapter 3: A Taste Of What's To Come

"Alright, so let me get this straight to make sure I'm not hearing-"
I paused as I watched Takeyasu flip the bacon, flinching each time I heard the grease sizzle. As much as I love Takeyasu as a character, the fandom base often headcanon him setting the kitchen on fire. It was funny as a joke and a meme, but seeing him cooking in my kitchen, in reality, I can't help but feel paranoid.
"...things..." my eyes looked away from the stove and turned to Nagayuki. "A mysterious dude in a top hat showed up at your door, claiming to be the organizer of something you were going to attend and that he was there to fulfill a wish you two had as well as a third person's wish, then comes back an hour later and teleports you two into my dimension?"
"You left out the part he was a hologram but yeah, you got everything else," Nagayuki confirmed getting out the plates.
"Okay, that explains things," I muttered thinking back to the dreams I had the day prior.
"You actually believe us?" Takeyasu questioned, glancing at me over his shoulder and raising a brow.
"Uh- Takeyasu, the food-" I voiced my concern to make the younger Tatsumi brother turn his attention back to the breakfast cooking on the frying pans. Shaking my head to focus back on the topic, I replied to his question. "I sorta had a dream...? Vision...? Usually, I get these kinds of things when I sleep which happen later on in the future and when it happens at the moment it's just this freaky deja vu. I guess you could say I had that but it was exactly what you guys just told me."
"Oh, so you have an ability like us?" Takeyasu guessed as he turned off the stove, seems like the food's done.
"I- no- no, I don't have any superpowers." I waved my hands in front of me. "People in this place don't have supernatural abilities like where you come from. I'm just some random person who writes stories on the internet, I don't have superpowers."
If anything, it's just a coincidence that happens. Everyone gets deja vu from time to time so it's nothing special. Then again, there were a few times when I did something subconsciously and my friends jokingly asked if I was physic. I'm not physic, right?
"If you say so." Nagayuki didn't let the topic press further and opened the fridge, getting orange juice. I felt a bit relieved.
"Hey, you know our names but we don't know yours!" Takeyasu pointed out.
"I-" I turned away, now realizing that too. 'Have I really gone on this long without mentioning my name?! Geez, I knew I had a problem remembering to mention important stuff but this is just sad.'
"Did you forget your name or-?"
"No, I'm just- never mind." I shook my head. "My name's [Name]."
"[Name]?"
"[Name]..." Takeyasu repeated after his brother. "Hm, weird name."
"It's not that weird," I grumbled. "You're just from a different world."
"Then what are-"
"Are you two going to continue flirting with each other or are we going to have breakfast?" Nagayuki intercepted and placed the glasses of orange juice on the table
"We're not flirting," I said, averting my eyes.
"Whatever you say," the elder twin shrugged and took his seat as the other gave him his plate. "Not bad bro."
Takeyasu then placed a plate of bacon, eggs, and sausages in front of me. A warm aroma engulfed my senses, I could practically taste the delicious food from the smell alone. Could it be the fandom was wrong or is it because he's from an Anime that the food he cooks is automatically better? Poking my fork into one of the sausages and taking a bite, I was greeted by a sensation of flavour.
"Mmmmm, this is good," I complimented.
"See, now you know I'm not making this up," Nagayuki nudged his brother.

"So about that 'proper sleeping place'," Takeyasu began as he placed his dishes on the counter.
"What?" I inquired confused since my mind was preoccupied with putting dish soap in the sink to clean dishes with.
"Remember yesterday you said we'd get a 'proper sleeping place' tomorrow," Takeyasu reminded me.
"Oh, right... I did say that... uhhhhhh-" I racked my brain trying to come up with what to do for them since Takeyasu clearly wasn't satisfied with the quick arrangements I made last night.
"You did have something in mind, right?" Nagayuki questioned, placing his dish next to his brother's.
"Well... there is a futon in the gaming area that could fit in my room, I'd need help bringing it up to my room though," I tell them putting the soap back in the cupboard.
"We can get it in your room no problem," Takeyasu smirked.
"Just show us where it is and leave the rest to us," Nagayuki added.
"Alright- uh- follow me."
Leading the way to the basement stairs, I opened the door and climbed down the steps. Passing the guest room and furnace room, we entered the open gaming area. I gestured to the futon off to the side, though I don't think that's what they're looking at-
"This place is like an arcade!" Takeyasu exclaims shuffling through the video game collection.
"You even got some of the classic consoles," Nagayuki commented as he checked out the Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis sitting next to each other amongst the various systems.
"Y-yeah, me and my brother are pretty big gamers," I explained. "It's great for when our friends come over, but most of the time it's just me and my brother hanging down here."
It's been a while since I've been down here with my brother, I mean I did come down here once or twice over the break, but I don't hang around this place as much as I used to. I think it started back when I started watching Anime, I suppose that means I prioritized being a weeb over a gamer. I do miss the endless days of gaming away with my brother though, it seemed those days were when the world was simple to us, I wonder where they went...
"[Name]," Takeyasu called my name and turned around holding up a familiar Wii game. "How good are you at Mario Kart?"
"Well~" I smirked. "Not to brag but I get 1st place every time. The only worthy opponent I have is my brother."
"We'll see about that," he smirked with a challenging sparkle reflecting in his teeth.
"You guys sure are big Mario fans," Nagayuki commented seeing a large amount of Mario games in the collection.
"Yeah, I mean Mario games are perfect multiplayer games for four people..." I paused, I felt like I'm forgetting something. "Oh! The dishes!" I had left the tap on when I went to the game room, it's probably overflowing now. I darted for the stairs. "The futon is in the corner, you guys! You're just gonna have to bring upstairs yourself."
Sliding into the kitchen, I could see the bubbles overflowing into the opposite sink. I turned off the tap in the bubbly sink and then moved it over to try and clear the other from soap. Once that was down I started to place dishes in the bubbly sink. My brain tuned out the world around me, my mind fixated on the task at hand thanks to the mini adrenaline panic that shot into my veins when I realized I left the sink on. Scrubbing away at the dishes, I almost missed the loud bang behind me, I flinched and glanced back.
"Oi! Be more careful!" I scolded the twins. Thankfully, they only hit the railing.
"Sorry," Nagayuki apologized.
I sweatdrop seeing the elder twin flying up the steps while his brother carried it normally. I don't know about you, but that seems unbalanced if you ask me. I shake my head and turn back to the dishes. Knowing me, I'd just get anxious watching them move that futon the way they are, I just have to trust they know what they're doing. Oh, would you look at that, the dishes are washed.
Draining the sink, I hang the wet cloth over the faucet and rinse the bubbles down the drain. Sliding over to the cabinet, I reach in and take out a drying cloth. I took a quick glance behind me to check on the brothers' progress and it seems they made it up the stairs. I grab a frying pan, beginning to dry the dishes when I notice my phone on the table light up. Putting the pan away and grabbing another dish to dry, I walked over to my device and tapped the screen.
'Great, it's on 5%,' I grumbled in my thoughts. My eyes gazed over the time, 1:03 pm.
'Shit!'
A text from my brother.
"We're on our way home."
'Shit! I gotta dry these dishes faster!'
I slip my phone into my pocket and put the dish in my hand away, hastily picking up the next one. They can't see the pans or spatulas out. They know I don't cook breakfast, I just get myself cereal! Or toast if I feel like making something. It'd be hella suspicious if pans were out. I can't let them see this-
"Hey [Name]-"
"AH!" I jumped and hugged the pan close to my chest, trying to grip myself to reality. Turning around I see Nagayuki floating behind me, no wonder I didn't hear anything. "Yes?"
"Where do you want us to put the futon?" Nagayuki asked, he probably said something after that but I didn't have time to know what he saying.
That door is going open any second and they're going to see Nagayuki standing in the kitchen! Well, not right away since the garage door is in the staircase to the basement. Still! I need to get the dishes done and for Nagayuki not to be here out in the open.
"Just put the futon in my closet and put your blankets and pillow with it," I instructed as I put the pan away, moving onto the plates. "And hide whatever stuff you have for now. I'll figure it out later. Just not right now, they're almost home and my phone is basically dead so I can't see their text, and I need to get these dishes dried-" I glance back and find he's gone.
Did... Did I imagine them? Were they hallucinations? No, no, hallucinations can't make dishes dirty. That and I can smell his scent. Wait, that sounds weird.
"[Name], we're home!" mom announced entering the main floor from the garage.
"AH!" I jump and then scramble to put the rest of the dishes away, dry or not. I catch my breath once I finish and lean against the counter just as they enter the kitchen. "Y'all startled me."
"Oh, you're down here," mom said surprised to see me somewhere that wasn't my room.
"Y-yeah, I just got up and finished breakfast," I half lied.
"And you did dishes," she acknowledged glancing at the clear counters.
"Yeah, I thought, might as well, ya know?"
"Hey sis, you wanna watch Code Geass?" [B/n] piped in before my mom could question me.
"Sure." I nodded with a smile, grateful that he interjected.
"Great, I just gotta put my stuff away," he told me, leaving the kitchen.
"Alright." I should turn on the TV then- wait... HE'S GOING UPSTAIRS! "Wait! Wait!"
I dashed up the stairs after him. He's going to see them! He's already upstairs and heading down the hall to our bedrooms! If the door's open he can just glance inside and see them vibing. Sweating bullets I slide down the hall only to see my door is closed.
"Phew..." I lean against the door relieved until I felt myself fall forward because the door wasn't properly closed! "Ow..."
"You okay, [Name]?" my brother asked popping out of his room to check on me.
"Yeah, I'm fine..." I reply rubbing the back of my head.
"Since when do you make your bed?"
"Huh?" I followed his gaze into my room, both of us confused.
All the sheets were neatly tucked and the pillows were plush and in the open, quite the foreign sight. Usually, if my bed did get made, the sheets would still be loose at the ends and cover the pillows. I know I didn't make my bed, that means someone else did. Right, the Tatsumi Brothers!
'Wait, where are they?' I wondered scanning my room and finding no trace of them. 'They couldn't have vanished, right?'
"Whatever, I'll meet you down there." My brother shrugged off the anomaly, walking away from the scene.
"Okay, I just gotta do something..." I wait until he's out of sight before slipping into my room and closing the door behind me. I do another sweep around my room, plugging in my phone while I was at it. I couldn't find them.
"Guys, he's not around anymore, you can come out." Just as I began to think they weren't real, I heard the window slide open. Spinning around, I see the twins climb down into my room.
"That was close," Nagayuki commented.
"Yeah," I agreed as I sat in my beanbag. "Where did you guys hide exactly?"
"On the roof."
"Smart- well as long as no one saw you on the roof- no one saw you guys up there, right?"
"Relax, sneaking around is our specialty," Takeyasu reassured me. "We never get caught."
"It wouldn't be hard if you learned to be more cautious," Nagayuki stated, sitting down in the desk chair.
"Hey, if it weren't for me, you wouldn't know where to go to avoid the opposition," the younger twin countered, pointing a finger at his brother. Before they could argue further, I clap my hands together bringing their attention to me.
"Alright, it's daytime, my family is home and doing things around the house, y'all can't get caught so you need to stay in my room," I remind them.
"Can't we go outside?" Takeyasu asked.
"Did you forget what I said yesterday about you two being fictional characters that need disguises?"
"[Name], we packed other clothes," Nagayuki deadpanned.
"Well, I still don't trust you two to be out 'n' about on your own," I said standing up and folding my arms. "I know you're warriors where you come from but you don't have that title anymore and half the things you did from what the Anime shows are illegal. I don't want to end up in jail for hiding criminals."
"I don't th-"
"Alright, we'll stay here, [Name]," Nagayuki interrupted his brother. The younger twin was about to protest when he continued. "As long as we get to go out tonight."
"I can work with that," I nod and unfold my arms.
"What are we supposed to do in the meantime?" Takeyasu inquired, raising an invisible brow.
"Uhh..." I went through my mind trying to think what would entertain the Tatsumi Brothers. 'What do they like? What do they like that's not hazardous?' My brain played clips of their episodes when I recalled how much they like to do stuff involving money. "You guys know about stocks and crypto, right?"
"Yes and no," they both answered in sync.
"Well-" I moved to my laptop opening a new browser window and clicking a few bookmarks. The tabs were: A YouTube playlist for learning about cryptocurrency, stockmarket charts for cryptocurrency, and a website where you can buy crypto. "You guys can learn about crypto and their markets then buy & sell them."
"We don't have bank accounts registered yet."
"That's fine, you can use mine," I told them, they both seem taken aback by this.
"Are you sure?" Takeyasu questioned after exchanging a glance with his brother.
"Yeah, I mean you guys are probably better with money than I am. Besides, I've been meaning to get into this stuff but I never make time to learn about it."
"Can't trust us to go for a walk but you trust us with your money, I wonder if that says something more about us or you," Takeyasu mumbled under his breath as he takes a look at the stock market with the elder brother.
He's got a point. Should I be trusting them with my money? It's not like they're going to rob me, they're just learning about crypto. Besides, I know Nagayuki at least will be intrigued by this concept.
"Someone's coming," Takeyasu alerted, pulling me out of my river of thoughts. "It's your brother." He must've known from the weight of the footsteps.
"I'll be back later with food," I promised as walked to my door. I look back to see them nod, I smile and creak my door open, slipping out and closing it behind me.
"Hey, what took you so long?" [B/n] asked, stopping halfway in the hall.
"Sorry bro, I got distracted by notifications," I lied, beginning to head down the stairs. "You got it set up?"
"Yup, just waiting for you sis."
"Great," I grin as I follow him to the living room.
Who knew having fictional characters around would be stressful?

Rabbit gets hugged
Usagi has deeeeffffinitely tried to kill you before, that’s just how it is when a person hangs around Usagi
Killing for Usagi is like finding money on the street, it’s free real estate friendship/servitude
However, if you’re wily and or immortal and still occupy the same space as Usagi willingly or even unwillingly for whatever reason, Usagi will get attached
Literally in my perception of Usagi once you pass a, frankly long, threshold of time you could just absolutely hate him, yell at him, whatever and Usagi considers you his closest friend lol
You could say “I hate your fucking guts. Die.” and he’s like “haha! Quit teasing me! :D”
Anytime you touch him Usagi gets really quiet and stares at your touching skin, even if you’re just standing next to him with your arm lightly brushing his
You obviously pick up on this, he’s not subtle.
“Usagi come here.”
He quite literally drops what he’s doing, there’s a shattering sound from the next room and then he’s next to you, waiting expectantly
You pull him in without a word and wrap your arms around him in what you hoped was a warm hug
“Oh”
Unbelievable. You go out of your way to express your affection and he’s stiff as a board. Absolutely rigid in your arms.
You huff and wrap his arms around you yourself. He snaps out of it and hugs you back so tight, you couldn’t escape if you tried
He holds you in his arms with his face tucked into your neck, you can’t see his face from your position but his visible ear is a cute shade of pink
The two of you fit together so perfectly, it’s soft and warm and it’ll last as long as you want it to. You practically have to pry him off of you when you decide you’ve had enough

Usagi and Readers Rabbit
Rabbits don’t really walk on a leash, but you just like to take yours out and relax with him
You pick a quiet spot away from everyone and potential dogs and things that could freak your rabbit out
Or so you thought
You’re just sitting and relaxing when this weird guy appears in front of you out of nowhere
Are his eyes red? You’re pretty sure that’s not normal
He looks down at your bunny, and gets down on the ground to be more eye level with you bunny
“Can I pet him?”
“S-sure!”
Hope you’re ready to have a friend for life. Usagi is not going to leave you alone. If you walk your rabbit on a regular basis, he’ll start waiting for you. He may even bring you and your rabbit snacks based on what you tell him you two like. He’s got a surprisingly good memory
He wants to be “friends” with you, but knows if he attacks you with your rabbit around it will possibly die of shock before he can make it a friend too. He doesn’t want you two to be apart, that would be sad
He gets attached very quickly. Very. Hope you’re okay with him hanging around and possibly following you home.

12 Warriors, killing passionately (Usagi)
Fandom: Juni Taisen: Zodiac War
Pairing: Usagi & Reader
Author’s Note: Ayy welcome to my one shot colllection of all the warriors on Juni Taisen cause that’s my current jam. This is probably the first reader insert out there since I posted it on Quotev earlier but couldn’t do it here because post limit. I really don’t know who to write next so be glad to drop some ideas in my inbox.
Also the use of -chan is used, but that’s more to refer to someone cutely or a nickname than a female name here. I’ll try to make the reader gender neutral
“(Name)-chan~.” A pair of strong arms wrapped around you from behind when Usagi announced his presence. You didn’t react, it’s not like you needed to anyway. He does this all the time. You’ve been living with him for...who knows how long. You don’t even remember how you met him. He was just…there all the sudden. He’s now just a constant as time moves on. It’s not like you really cared to remember anyway.
Usagi treated you like a friend, a best friend even, and nothing more. He had to have let you in his home for some reason. You can’t really feel anything beyond that. You didn’t feel him adjusting his chin on your shoulder as he spoke.
“Don’t you ever think about how lonely it gets with just the two of us?” You didn’t respond for he answered his own question. “I’ve been thinking about getting new friends, what do you think? The more the merrier as they say.” He said happily. Just what was he up to?
“I was selected to take part of the twelfth Zodiac War. Isn’t that exciting?” He squeezed your form a little bit too tight. “Think about it, I can wish for more friends if I win!” His tight hold on you then diminished, but you didn’t look back to see where he was or where he walked off to. Usagi had moved into your view and wrapped his arms around your center this time. He must really like physical contact or it was something about you. You can’t figure out which one it is as his forehead touched yours and you can see his unusual eyes up close and personal.
“Ne, how about a kiss for good luck?” He paused for a moment, almost like he was waiting for a response, before leaning in anyway to seal his lips with yours anyway. He briefly parted to say, “You’re so good to me, (Name)-chan.” Before stealing another kiss from you. Usagi didn’t care if you needed to breathe...it’s not like you could in the first place.
You were simply his puppet that he kept around after all. The open wound on your back that seeped into your shirt marked you as such. He could always find a better ‘friend’ to keep him company at any given time.

Snow bunny (yandere Usagi x reader)
A nice warm homely chain in the countryside on a dark cold night. In movies they made it out to seem to be one of the coziest places to be. Of course, the person you are with can always change that as you found out when you were first brought here.
“Darling, I've got the drinks ready.” and there he was announcing his presence with that sing song voice he always uses.
It may have followed you before but it wouldn't know that you've seen with your own eyes what he's done. If only you had seen it sooner maybe you wouldn't be stuck here with the only comfort being the many rabbits that run about some even huddling against you now by the fire.
Setting the tray on the coffee table nearby Usagi then sits behind you moving the blankets around so they are now around both of you. pulling your back to his chest making you lane against him. You learned a long time ago to let him do as he pleases or else be turned into the monsters that watch over the cabin, it's not like he puts his hands in any bad places. All he really ever does is hold you close anyways.
From the outside it would look like a scene from one of those romantic Christmas movies. The only ones who know the truth are now the ones that protect this place. Wanting to stop your thoughts, you close your eyes listening to the crackling of the fire and the soft music that was playing somewhere in the background.
Just for a moment you want peace away from this hell that is now reality.

Resurrection AU | Spoilers | Second pov
Y/n works at a flower shop, selling flowers and plants there and taking care of them. Usagi comes there every now and then and befriends y/n, though y/n wants to be more than that.
“Yeah, I’m on break right now,” you reply to the phone with a smile plastered on your face.
“How about we hang out later?” the voice in your phone– your friend’s voice– asks.
“Well, I don’t know..” you pause to think. You want to talk to Usagi later, but you don’t know how to turn down your friends offer.
“Ooo~ I see how it is, y/n. It’s fine, maybe next time,” your friend giggles and hangs up before you could say something about what she was saying.
“Ugh.. oh well,” you sigh and put your phone away.
“Uhh… y/n are you done? I need help with a customer,” your coworker peeks their head in the room you’re in.
“Huh? Yeah, I am,” you walk over to help the customer find the flowers they were looking for with a bright smile.
“Y/n you’re so good at this,” you leave your coworkers mouth agape as you name flowers that match the customers description.
“Hm? Oh, thanks!” you giggle as you hand a couple of flowers to the customer as they pay. “Do you think you could handle the rest? I’m going to water the plants out back and front.”
“Yeah, sure,” you leave your coworker to finish off what you started as you head to the front.
Bells ring, indicating another customer has entered. He looks around with curiosity. You stop in your tracks and look at him. A warm and cheerful smile forms on your face as you run up to him and give him a hug.
“Hey, y/n,” Usagi greets you. His hands stay by his side and don’t move an bit.
“You’re back! You rarely come here anymore I thought you were gone for good!” you laugh as you release you grip from him and look into his eye.
“How are you doing?”
“Great! Would you like the not so much anymore usual?” you chuckle. You walk around and show him some flowers he may like.
“I just wanted to see you,” you stop in your tracks when you hear his response.
“R-really? Me? No way. You’re lying. We were supposed to meet up after work to,” you spit words out, clearly flustered.
“You don’t want me to visit?”
“No! That’s not it at all!”
“What is it then?”
“I wanted to give you something later, but now your here…”
“What was it?”“It’s embarrassing to say,” you turn your head away as you tidy up flowers and continue to walk around.
“Hmm?” Usagi clearly doesn’t know what you mean by that.
“Y/n! You can leave early today, it seems nobody else will be coming in for the rest of the day,” you coworker shouts for you to hear. You turn and walk to them. They wink as you quietly thank them and hurry to change out of your work clothes and rush back to Usagi.
When you get back to him, he’s gazing at a specific flower; a rose. “Usagi, are you ready?” you smile, carrying your things in your arms.
“Huh? Mm’hmm,” he responds and walks outside with you.
“I guess I should give the gift now, right?” you smile at him.
“Yeah,” Usagi’s short reply doesn’t faze you.
“Bend down to my height,” you tell him. You blush a little as you quickly peck him on the cheek. “D-do you want to be more than friends?”

The whole idea of being trans is a little confusing at first for her, but it takes about 000.1 seconds for her to decide it doesn't really matter?
Her whole life she's been a tool for the family, with you she's a person. In the end, no matter how you identify, as long as you still love her that's what matters?
Does a TON of research. She gets books, medical journals, ect. She uses her contacts to find doctors for you, and don't worry. Cost isn't an issue.
Anyone who tries anything just...vanishes. You know from that weird smile she gets she 110% had something to do with it
If you ever feel ad or dysphoric about your body, she's very supportive.

- Smiles at you and accepts the gift gracefully.
- She has a small harem, and way to much candy. She does appreciate it and gives you a little kiss.
- She keeps the box in her room and uses it to hold her hair accessories. She really does appreciate it, she’s just not great at showing sincere emotions.
Dotsuku
- Gets flustered and blushes to his ears. His tail is wagging really fast. (It’s white chocolate right?)
- Has gotten you some too, and gives it to you.
- Has to share his candy with his daughter. It’s extra romantic because when you guys have dinner, her dinosaur chicken nuggets kiss
Niwatori
- Doesn’t know how to respond. She knows it’s typical, but it still catches her off guard. She doesn’t have anything to give you. Her face goes blank and the wheels are turning.
- She really appreciates it and word vomits trying to explain how much she appreciates you
- Takes pictures with you and uses those cheesy filters
Sharyu
- Is really excited, even does a cute little toe jump out of excitement
- She also got you candy...that she made.

- Just looks at them, and seems to try and compute what was going on
- Surprisingly takes a while for the dots to connect

- He takes you to dinner, and after he has time to relax it’s a lot more fun. The chocolates are more of a appetizer into a really fun evening

What they do when you’re sick

Inounoshishi
- Not the greatest caregiver in the world. She grew up fighting tooth and nail, so she isn’t used to babying anyone
- Will pay any and all of your doctor bills. She can’t help you, or really bring herself to go the extra mile, but she still cares
- You have a high fever and wanna curl up and sleep? Guess who just bought you the most AMAZING high cost PJ’s and coziest blankets.
- May wear gloves and a mask to see you, and may sit across the room, but will keep you company
- Five star soup from her personal chef
- You worried about sick time or work? Don’t worry, if you’re sick for a long period of time she’s going to pay all your bills.
Dotsuku
- He’s a dad, a new dad, but a dad. He also works at a school. He has this covered
- Make you soup, whatever you want. If you have special dietary needs and he doesn’t have a recipe off hand, he will message his mom group and see if anyone does.
- All medicine on hand
- His daughter, though she doesn’t see you to prevent her from getting sick, sends her dad with a card she made my hand saying to get well soon. She really like glitter.
- He’s going to tease you for being sick, but it’s all in good fun.
- Doesn’t let you do anything. Your job is to get better, not to do laundry.

- She’s so used to looking out for only herself, and not showing weakness, that taking care of someone else is NOT her strong suit.
- She tries. She doesn’t go and see you face to face, since she doesn’t wanna get sick, but she has her birds delivery medicine for you
- Nothing will ever top having soup flown in by doves into your kitchen with a cute hand written note to get better
- Calls you on the phone. You fell asleep, and woke up two hours later and realized you never hung up. She didn’t either. She just asks how you slept.
- Medicine also delivered. You think she’s trying to top herself because you hear a knock on the door and there’s a friggin’ swan with a cute bag full of medication
Sharyu
- Gives Dostuku a run for his money in terms of being the most supportive
- Doesn’t let you get up and bundles you tight in blankies. How sh managed to swaddle you like a child, no one knows. You’re cozy tho 100%
- All the soup she makes is from scratch. There’s so much love in it
- Knows what you need and when before you can ask. Very supportive.
- If you’re not 100% better and try to work she’ll call in for you. You’ll get better even if it kills her.
- Sings you to sleep.
Hitsujii
- Has weird old school remedies to make you feel better.
- Makes soup so filling you’re pretty sure that you gained 10 pounds from one bowl
- Has a quilt he wraps you in, and scolds you if you get out of it
- One of those wet wash cloths on your forehead
- Hums while taking care of you
Uuma
- Tries his best to make you feel better, and goes overbaord.
- If he has a sweatshirt, you’re wearing it
- Has been to the hospital multiple times, and he’s made nurse friends. His favorite is an older lady and he calls her in a panic. You don’t know just how much in a panic he is
- Thank to his nurse friend he takes STELLAR care of you
- Will feed you soup himself. Also makes you tea...maybe to much. He wasn’t sure what kind you liked so he bough...ALL
Takeyasu
- He doesn’t know how to take care of human people
- Googles how to make you feel better
- He wear a mask and gloves and doesn’t interact with you a lot directly. He cares, from a distance.
- Weirdly is good at taking care of you? He’s a reptile dad, and at first he’s AWFUL at it, then when he gets it in his head to treat you like he’d treat his babies reptiles, he’s weirdly decent at it
- Gets you tea
- Orders take out for your soup. Gets you blankets.
Nagayuki
- He’s very stoic and strict
- No video games or computer, go back to bed and sleep
- Doesn’t hang out with you, but will order you delivery for anything you need
- “No you’re not dying, you have the flu. Throw up and go to bed”
- He’s not great at taking care of people. He can take care of Takeyasu, but being sweet and tender with someone? He’d sooner hack a mainframe of a top notch bank
- Does get you a get well card, and slips it under your door. It has a surprisingly nice message.
Usagi
- He doesn’t get sick often, and he’s not used to people taking care of him, but you...oh you does he try his HARDEST
- Goes over the top. You come out form the bathroom after being sick and there is at least twenty new blankets, four new teapots, fifty varieties of teas, and it looks like he robbed a drug store
- You don’t even have to walk, he carries you everywhere.
- Snuggles. He doesn’t care how snotty or gross you are. He wants his snuggle bunny. He’s not leaving your side until your better
- Read sponge baths are good for sick people, take that as you will
- 100% gets sick afterwards. Extra needy
Tora
- Is really practical about it
- Has a few seasons of your favorite show to binge while you get better
- Takes care of you, but doesn’t baby you that much
- Makes you instant ramen as soup.
- gets you tea and blankets. No kisses but will sit on the couch with you
- Gets you medicine, wasn’t sure what kind to get. 10/10 calls Sharyu
- Does her best to keep you comfortable and try and make you laugh a little
- Pets your hair when you fall asleep on her lap
Ushii
- Not great at taking care of people
- Just make him a list of what you need. He is one panicked step away from dropping you at the hospital with the basic “Fix this”
- Orders you fancy soup from an expensive restaurant
- he knows you’re supposed to keep warm, and will wrap you in blankets
- Will let you snuggle with him on the couch
- He will do whatever you ask
- Tucks you into bed
Nezumi
- Already knows your sick before you open the door, and thanks to 100 paths, he knows exactly what you need
- You of course have no idea and because you’re sick, now you think he’s a magic man
- He takes pretty decent care of you, and even plays games with you on the couch
- Totally lets you win at mario cart
-makes you ramen, adds stuff to it. It’s not amazing but oh boy is it full of love
- You get better really quickly

- She’s the one going up to the counter, she did NOT pay for this expensive restaurant to screw up her Honey’s order.
- Doesn’t yell, but has that scary face on, you know the one. The one she has when you know you fucked up but she’s gonna wait until you’re alone to rip you a new one.
Dotsuku
- You’re gonna have to be the one to talk to the person who took the order. He wont. He ONLY will complain if they screw up his daughter’s order.
- He’s a little embarrassed when you ask for his food to be fixed, but appreciates it
- He’s not blushing, you are
Niwatori
- She goes up to the counter. She pretends to be nice
- You don’t know what she says but she comes back with you corrected order, and free fries.
Sharyu
- If her order is screwed up, you gotta go for her. She’ll just deal with it. She pouts a little afterwards when you do though.
-If your order is screwed up, sweet as can be she asks them to correct it, and gives an extra tip. They were busy and probably just forget. They should get paid more.
Hitsujii
- Doesn’t even notice if it’s his food
- Like Dotsuku, if it’s his gandchild’s food, he’ll bring it up. He’s polite, but if the person is an ass (which let’s be honest, would probably not happen, we love our friends who work with the public) he’d raise a little hell.
- If it’s your food, he’s ask to correct it if it really bugged you. He’d rather not get up.
Uuma
- You gotta do it for him, he wont.
- Surprisingly, if your food is messed up, this big ol’ hunk of man can and will ask them to fix it. He’s polite...but is obviously standing in a way that’s threatening. Please calm him down before the teenager behind the counter has a heart attack.
- He does leave a good tip for the correction. He’s scary, but a sweet dude . Probably apologizes on the way out for his behavior.
Takeyasu
- 10/10 will threaten the life of whoever messed up your food. May or may not light the building on fire after you leave. Please, keep him on a leash and away from the service workers.
- If his food is messed up, a lot less threatening. Don’t get me wrong, he’s still threatening, but in a way that it’s a coin toss if he’s going to do anything. Quick! Distract him!
- You don’t need to correct his order, he’ll do it himself
Nagayuki
- Doesn’t let the mistake happen, has the person read it back after you order
- If it still does, he’ll have them correct it. Not very threatening, but the look in his eyes makes the workers uncomfortable. He doesn’t blame the waiter/tress. Instead he eyes the cook in the distance
- If he happens to be on the couch with you later and there just happens to be breaking news of a grease fire and Takeyasu just happens to be missing..well?
Usagi
- Why did you take him out in public with a lot of people. Why did you think this was a good idea
- He’s pretty polite, and as long as he can hold your hand and spend time with you, he’ll eat whatever you put in front of him. He doesn’t complain if his food is messed up
- If your food is messed up, don’t mention it...just don’t (unless you have allergies). He adores you, a little to much. It wouldn’t be out of his realm of possibilities to make a few new friends while you’re out. After all, mistakes are forgivable, and he’ll make sure your new friends never do it again
- If it’s because of allergies, just let him know something happened by accident and you need it fixed just in case. He’ll be okay with that, but it better not happen again
Tora
- If it’s at a bar and she’s drinking, you could give her the completely wrong thing and she wont notice. Food is food.
- If she’s sober and her food is screwed up, she’ll be grumpy but wont say much other than complain to you. If you fix it for her, and mention that you want her food right because she’s important to you, she’ll be low key flustered.
- If your food is messed up, she’ll go fix it. If she’s drunk she storms the counter, and is loud and disorderly. If she’s sober she’s polite enough, but obviously annoyed.
Ushii
- They would never get his food wrong, this dude eat out to much and they see him and are already working on what he wants.
- If your food is messed up, they fix it when he asks. He’s polite, and unintentionally intimidating. He does eat out so much though that no one is really affected by this man anymore. They’re just like “Woops, here you go” No harm no foul.
- You will get free ice cream or other sweet at the end of the night. The workers will also gossip that the dude that only ever eats alone finally has a date.
Nezumi
- How did you get him to eat in public?
- If his order is messed up, he wont say anything. If he mentions it, and you fix it, he appreciates it
- If your order is messed up he’ll sigh and force himself to have more social interaction. People are not his thing, and asking for your food to be corrected is a lot of effort for someone who’s introverted. He will do it though, you’re worth it. He may just take a nap shortly after you eat.

In My Reality | Prologue
Hey, I was bored so I decided to start a fanfic series of the Tatsumi Brothers from Juuni Taisen. Yay
It’s a “Tatsumi Brother x Reader” story about how the Tatsumi Brothers enter the reader’s reality which kinda flips her world upside down.

"[Name] get out of bed; It's 3 in the afternoon," my mom told me as she came into my room with fresh, clean clothes. I didn't have to look over to know.
Groaning, I removed my mask from my eyes then rolled over to face up at the white ceiling. The sunlight seeping in from the blinds caused my sight to cringe before it finally adjected to the light and I could see the grey walls lurking in the corner of my eyes. Arising from my queen-sized bed a yawn escaped from my mouth. My form reached over and placed my sleep mask on the nightstand, next to my water mug.
"Morning mom," I greeted her as she sorted out the pile of clothes on my dresser. Looks like she did a colour load, which means no pants to put away.
"Morning sweetheart. Can you put your clothes away before you come downstairs?"
"Sure," I simply answered as I slipped out of the cozy sheets I once was tangled in.
"Thank you. I'll see you when you come down," she stated, placing the last of my t-shirts neatly on the others. Afterwards, she wrapped her arms around the remaining clean, clothes that weren't mine, carefully balancing them as she left my room and closed the door behind.
The click of the doorknob echoed into my ears when my feet landed on the fuzzy rug. My eyes drifted their gaze to the plain black bodypillow wrapped in [f/c] blankets, reminding me of a burrito. It just had the colour for the case, no special Anime character on it. I wish there were one though; it'd make the nights seem less lonely to see my favourite character's face on it. However, a pillow is a pillow. Despite me using it as an illusion for myself it doesn't change the reality that when I hug it in my sleep or when I'm awake no arms will return my embrace.
A sigh falls out of my breath, my eyelids dropping in sync. I turned my head away from the lying pillow and dragged myself to the other side of my bed, towards the dresser that patiently held the clean clothes my mom put there. I opened a drawer, putting my undergarments away first then my socks. Once those were put away, I moved to retrieve hangers from my closet, passing by my desk and shelves as I did.
If you were wondering why I slept so late into the afternoon, well, it's currently winter break, so that means I can stay up late and sleep in late past noon. Sadly enough, it's January which means the break almost over, and that means school is standing around the corner, menacingly. Just the thought of it disturbs my mind as that reality tries to infect my thoughts.
I hate reality. I know not all of it is shit, but there's enough of it that makes me want to drown myself in the world of fiction. Whenever it's the weekend or breaks from school, I binge Anime, tv shows, YouTube, and movies, so that's the only thing on my mind. I then write or read fanfiction, there is the rare occasion I sketch something but I'm not good at art since I don't practice enough. By the time I return to reality after having my head stuck in my imagination for so long, I can barely focus without going back to daydreaming. Eventually, that wears off, and then reality is what floods my brain; I despise it but I know I can't be stuck in my fantasies forever. Luckily my friends provide that nice spot in-between for me, helping me stay in the real world but also let me discuss the fictional. Then there's also my bro.
"Yo sis," my brother's voice called from the other side of the door after his fist knocked on it. "You wanna continue Code Geass?"
My bro is the best. Unlike most siblings I know, we actually get along. He's also a big help in my life, one of the reasons why I haven't lost my mind. He makes sure I don't overwork & stress myself and reminds me to have fun and chillax. I love him for it, and he's practically my best friend. We aren't the exact same age but we were born in the same year, just a few months apart so we get to be in the same grade. He's the older one. He's also taller which means he can t-pose over me, and we reenact the meme; it's great.
"Yeah," I answered. "Just let me get ready."
"Alright," he replied before I felt the vibration of his footsteps grow distant from my room.
'Heh, if I had Takeyasu's ability, I'd be able to sense his movement better.'
I chuckle to myself at the thought floating in my mind as I put the final shirt away. My two favourite characters that I desired to be real was the Tatsumi Brothers, Nagayuki and Takeyasu. I love those two. Whenever I watched their episodes from Juuni Taisen, I always smile. They make my heart feel something that I never felt for any character before. I don't want to be cliche and say true love, but to me, that's what it feels like. I know they're fictional characters, so I won't get much out of it, but strangely enough, I'm okay with that. I can't imagine my heart belonging to anyone else. I do wish they were real, though. I even used my wish on the bracelet my friend, Meri-chan, got for my birthday one year, that they'd become real.
The bracelet was some urban legend. It was lime green and had a few beads on it. The legend goes that you make a wish and when the bracelet breaks, your wish has come true. 'Course, it's most likely a bunch of baloney but that didn't stop me from wishing that the Tatsumi Brothers would become real. I currently just wear the bracelet as an accessory since the wish probably won't happen, it's not like the thing is going to break anytime soon.
Grabbing my towel, my other hand opened my door. I slipped down the hallway and slid into the bathroom, my foot pushing the door closed as I put the towel on the towel rack. Hopefully, I don't take too long because we were left on edge on the last episode of Code Geass we watched. Well, I'll finish sooner than my wish coming true that's for sure, heh.

"Okay bro but if you think about it, Lelouch-"
"[Name], I washed your school uniforms. Can you put them away while I start on tacos?" Mom requested from the kitchen, interrupting the Anime, my commentary, and reminding me that school is coming soon. "You too, [b/n]."
"Yes, mom," we both respond.
My brother picked up the remote and hit the pause button so we wouldn't miss anything. I pulled myself up from the plush couch, disappointment growing on me since I had hoped not to be interrupted until dinner was ready. Well, I guess I could let the disappointment wither away since it's Taco Tuesday, my favourite. I chuckled to myself as my feet reached the next level above the main floor and headed down the open hallway to my room.
My laughter died out upon seeing my seven school uniforms, five that were the regular female uniform and two that were gym uniforms. Unlike most students, I didn't like the idea of having to wash my uniform every day, so to make things simpler, I paid for six more with my own money. It was a bit irritating, using the money I earned from my summer job for this instead of getting something else. Still, my practical choice, so I didn't necessarily have to worry about my mom washing my uniform every night.
"Hhhhhh, why does school have to come back so soon?" I asked myself as I picked up one of the uniforms.
The uniform wasn't too special, a simple white blouse, a blue skirt, a blue jacket, and a blue & black striped tie. Students could decide if we wanted to wear tights, leggings, or shorts underneath the skirt as long as it was black or white. I wore leggings unless it was summer which I then wear shorts and knee-high socks. There are those girls that only wear thigh-high socks and panties under their skirt to which my nerd brain questions why. 'Course that's their choice, have fun with your ass cold.
A Discord ringtone made me resurface from my pond of inner thoughts. Becoming aware of my surroundings, I realized my friends Meri-chan and Kamida were calling on the Discord group chat we had. I could tell by the laptop I had open on my desk. I quickly put the uniform I had in hand on the rack with the others before sliding over and clicking the answer button that popped up.
"Yo, what's up nerds."
"Hey I'm not a nerd," Meri-chan protested. "I'm a cool kid."
"Meri-chan, we're all nerds here," Kamida stated before greeting me. "Hey [n/n], how you doing?"
"Eh, good I suppose but I could be doing better, Kami," I answered simply. "How's life?"
"Pretty chill but I got bored, so I decided to call you guys."
"Well, I'm just putting my uniforms away," I informed them and went to put the last uniform away.
"I sometimes forget that you have more than one," Meri-chan commented before I heard her gasp. "Hey, how 'bout we hang out tomorrow, we only have so many days before we have to go back to school."
"Oh, don't remind me," I groaned, hanging my head, then went back to putting the uniform on the hanger and walking over to the closet, hanging it up with the rest.
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea Meri-chan, we could hang out tomorrow," Kamida suggested.
"I'm down," Meri-chan quickly responded.
"Welllllll..." I hesitated, sitting down in the [f/c] spinning chair in front of the desk.
"[Name]."
"You see, I kinda want to stay inside my last few days..."
"[n/nnnnn]!" Meri-chan whined.
"Come on [Name], you know you can't stay cooped up inside forever," Kamida reminded me.
"I know," I grumbled, leaning back in my seat. "Fine, I'll come out tomorrow, but it's going to be after 2."
"2 am, geez [n/n] I didn't know you'd be willing to come out that early," Kamida joked.
"I meant 2 pm," I corrected.
"Okay," he chuckled as Meri-chan pipped in.
"But if you're late again, you're buying lunch this time."
"Okay, bet, but what if I'm not?" I inquired, my fingers tapping on my desk.
"Mmmmmmm," she hummed, seemingly to be thinking.
"It's fine I'll pay for lunch tomorrow."
"Alright, but don't use it as an excuse to be late."
"I won't," I reassured her. "Anyway, I'm gonna go watch a few more episodes of Code Geass with my bro-"
"You still need to watch Dragon Ball Z," Kamida interrupted.
"And you need to watch Juuni Taisen," I countered, emphasizing the "you".
"Yeah, yeah," he brushed it off. "Anyway, go have fun with your bro. We'll call again later on tonight."
"Alright, bye guys." I left the call and closed out of discord then proceeded to shut my laptop.
Kamida and Meri-chan were my two friends from school; we've known each other since childhood. 'Course Meri-chan isn't Meri-chan's real name, that's just a nickname Kamida and I gave her. Occasionally, they called me [n/n]-chan but not too often. Then there are times where we call Kamida, Kami-kun, but mainly Meri-chan does it out of spite since Kamida doesn't like it. Especially when Meri-chan does it in her kawaii voice. Those two are the only ones outside of family that have the same vibe I do, that's probably why we've been friends for so long.

"Hey, you guys ever wish fictional characters could become real?" I randomly asked out of the blue, staring up at the white ceiling as I waited for my friends over the call to answer my question.
"All the time," Meri-chan answered.
"We know simp," Kamida smugly commented.
"Nuuu!" Meri-chan pouted while Kamida and I laughed. "Hey, if anything [n/n] is the simp over here, she's the one actual crushing on the characters."
"Hey don't call me out like that."
"Ha! She doesn't deny it," Kamida jeered.
"Okay, what about you and Android 21?"
"Ack-" Kamida blurted before muting himself, causing me and Meri-chan to giggle. A few seconds pass by before he unmuted himself. "Why are you asking this question [n/n]?"
"No reason in particular-"
"Are you sure it's not you wanting to talk about Juuni Taisen?"
"No- it's not just that. I just think fictional characters would make reality interesting."
"Right..."
"Meri-chan if you could bring someone from Juuni Taisen to-"
"My boy Uuma! You should know this by now."
"Bruh-"
"Well, it's either that or Usagi, and I rather be alive thank you."
"Who's Uuma again?" Kamida inquired, not knowing who was who quite yet since he hasn't watched the Anime.
"Uuma is the warrior of the horse," I informed him.
"Right," Kamida mumbled before letting out a yawn.
"You sound tired, go to sleep!" Meri-chan told Kamida.
"No, you go to sleep."
"Guys, we're all on the same timezone. If one of us goes to sleep then we all do," I stated. "It makes sense since we're all planning on meeting up tomorrow."
"I guess we go to sleep," Meri-chan said bluntly.
"Yeah, alright, goodnight guys," Kamida yawned.
"Night."
"Night guys."
With that, we each left the call. I, however, didn't fall asleep right away. I woke up late and the night was still pretty early, so I opened up the Funimation app on my phone. Scrolling through the list of saved Anime, most of which were halfway through since my brother and I are watching them together, I came across Juuni Taisen.
"Why not..." I muttered to myself as my finger tapped on the Anime and went right to click on episode 7, In Like a Dragon, Out Like a Snake (Part 1).
By the time I finished episodes 7 and 8, it was 2 am when my eyes glanced at the clock in the top corner of my phone. Sighing to myself, I leaned over and snatched my charger off the nightstand, plugging it in the wall before connecting the other end to my phone. Turning off my phone, I placed it on the nightstand and snagged my sleep mask, putting that on my head.
As I laid there on my bed, silence flooded the room, not a sound to be heard but my own breathing. Vines of sorrow began to grow on me as the feeling of loneliness came over me. I tried to pull myself out of the emotion, turning over and wrapping my arms around the plain bodypillow in an attempt to comfort myself. In the end, it only helped slightly. It didn't erase the pain because I knew there were no arms that would hug me back. A tear escaped my eyes before I pulled my mask over them, and a final thought appeared in my mind before I entered the dream realm.
'I wish I wasn't alone...'

"Congratulations, Tatsumi {Ani|Otouto}, warrior of the {dragon|snake}!" Duodecuple exclaimed. "You are the winner of the 12th Juuni Taisen, everyone give yourself a hand!" The man started to applaud but soon stopped. "The antidote has settled in by now. You'll be fine."
{"Tch|Alright"} the Tatsumi brother simply responded.
"Now that you've won the Juuni Taisen, you can make one wish of your choice. Would you like to make your wish now, or would you like for it to be granted later?"
"In all honesty, when I arrived at the Juuni Taisen I wished for {nothing|money}, I didn't need anything else really but now that {I'm here|I had time to think about} I don't want to wish for {nothing|money}."
"Oh, do you have another wish in mind?" Duodecuple inquired the Tatsumi brother sitting in front of him, alone.
"Yeah... I wish me and my brother were never apart of the Juuni Taisen."

Can I get the Tatsumi brothers x fem! reader with the Christmas prompt "HOLIDAY HUG!"
I’m not dead! I promise. Sorry this took so long!
The holidays were chaotic, as usual. Between a grown woman shoving you aside while you were shopping to grab whatever item they needed (of which there were many but apparently that was the pack of socks she wanted), the yelling, the entitlement, the same stupid songs playing fifty times over...you just about had it. For as picture perfect as movies tried to make holidays out to be, it brought out the worst in pretty much everyone, except two people. Nagayuki and Takeyasu.
Somehow the holidays brought out the better part of the two brothers. They played a pair of Robin Hoods and would throw money at anyone and everyone who looked their direction, albeit sometimes hitting them in the face with a wad of money. Heck, they didn’t even have to look at them they just had to be living and within arms reach. They fed into the chaos, and embraced it. For all the bad things they did, every now and again they could do something nice.
You got home, and unlocked your door, throwing your keys in the little dish Nagayuki had gotten you as a gift. He’d gotten it for you after you asked him to help find your keys one to many times (though you still misplaced them every now and again). You didn’t notice the little Santa hat that way not ontop of the dragon dish’s head. You rubbed your eyes , and sneezed. It smelled like cinnamon...suspicious. You used your free hand to click on the lights, and were nearly blinded.
You blinked and had to wait for your eyes to adjust.
The lights were hung up around the ceiling and floorboards. The suspicious cinnamon smell came from the pinecones sitting on your kitchen counter (you were just glad it wasn’t from Takeyasu trying to cook). The boys were smugly leaning on a few chairs. at the kitchen table, and behind them you quickly spotted two very messy gingerbread houses.
“Ha! The look on your face is priceless,” Takeyasu had his phone out, as did his bother. However, Takeyasu was the one going out of his way to get a good picture of your shock.
“Since it’s been kinda busy we thought we’d take it upon ourselves to decorate,” Nagayuki did a wide gesture of the room. You didn’t have to see any other areas of your home to know it also probably looked like the Holiday itself threw up in it. Hallmark would be proud.
You couldn’t help but tear up a little bit. It was beautiful, but the thought that they both went out of their way to make it nice for you warmed your heart. You didn’t even mind that there were questionable scorch marks on part of the ceiling.
“Holiday Hug!” Takeyasu yelled moments before you were engulfed in their arms, almost falling to the floor. Maybe the Holidays were worth the chaos.
“Come on, you gotta make your gingerbread house too!”
