Fallout 4 experience is quite literally just settlement building like I could and do sit here for hours making up little town dramas and Easter eggs and giving my townies outfits like this is the sims.

Each town and place gets a different story and they all link? Hell yeah

Nothing can compare to the pure joy I get when I place a bridge just right nothing else matters this is it I was born to do this

breakheart banks → watauga safehouse

technically my second attempt with this settlement but the last one bugged out when the cell refreshed- this one is more stable and I’ve made some changes I liked more. This is where my robotics/junk trader & companion oc, Delta, sets up shop after clearing the location with my sole Reed. the settlement itself is primarily home to a handful of robots and cats since Delta’s frequently on the road, but it doubles as a Railroad safehouse and frequently has other agents, synths, & other allies staying there temporarily.

Fallout 4 is a game about making cute little towns from trash and completing missions earning money to buy more trash and scavengering everything you found. Also collecting people to put into your towns. Or helping you collect trash.

I know the Atomic Shop isn't canon and microtransactions suck, but man what I would give for Fallout 4 to have some of the weapons/armour/clothes/C.A.M.P items that Fallout 76 has.

#I've been avoiding 4 until the next-gen update (whenever that'll be)#I'm not always too big on mods either unless it's for graphical reasons or otherwise #but visually when it comes to all that listed above 76 is just way more fun #I know it's for the whole 'rebuilding the Commonwealth' thing which is why most of the stuff is shabby #but settlement building would be so much more fun and engaging #there's so much from 76 I wish would get back ported into 4 #fallout #fallout 4 #fallout 76

#fallout #fallout 4 #commonwealth cartography #heres a much more updated version of the map i've been working on the past few days #stephen has really been hiking all over the commonwealth for these radiant quests #finally got most of the settlements in the northern commonwealth too!#only 3 left to go #also finally got graygarden so i can get provisioners to oberland and hangmans #which means i can connect homeplate to the supply lines and build there!#i have a mod that lets me do that #also expanded some territories to fill in some gaps #its getting v crowded now lol #also i just noticed its chrismas in game when I went to get the date lol #thinking about tweaking the minutemen colour atm #i think its a bit light?#also i put that raider territory in the middle of the gunners main one bc the gunner one started to look like a malformed cock

It's just how gameplay shook out for me but I reached max affinity with MacCready helping a ghoul kid find out what happened to his family and MAN sometimes things that work out so perfect that you WISH you'd wrote it or done it on purpose 😭🖤 Two very sad Dads doing the best for their sons helping ANOTHER lost kid find home because they can't be with their own kids right now but they can help Billy, dammit!
