14: A fic you didn't expect to write

Both the fleabagnatural series and my pinefest fic. Fleabagnatural started out as a one shot after I'd started to rewatch the show. The whole series just spiralled from there.

With pinefest, I had a whole other fic planned out and a week or so before drafts were due another idea came to me and I had to write it. This fic will be the death of me.

27: favourite fic author of the year (I'm cheating and doing more than one now because you're all amazing)

@chaoticdean - both Patient Love and Hearts on Fire ruined me. Jus, you're just incredible.

@malmuses - I've probably re-read Russian To The Alter six times this year alone. Everything Mal writes is brilliant.

@starrynightdeancas - BEX! So talented and I just can't get over how brilliantly you craft your work.

@one-more-offbeat-anthem - Everyone stop what you are doing and read Emmy's work. Winchester in Love is perfection.

@cvsnovak - Life As We Know It had me in a choke hold. I love this fic so much

@you-cant-spell-subtext-without and @doctorprofessorsong - Birds and The T's was a masterpiece fic and a total love letter to the fandom.

I know I'm missing some but I've read so many fics this year and my brain is mush

6, 29, and 33 for the writing questions game!

Hi Rachel!

6: Which element of writing comes easiest to you? - Oh definitely dialogue. I think this comes from studying scripts while in college and uni. A lot of the time I have most of a fics dialogue planned out before anything else.

29: Have you ever gone out of your comfort zone for a fic? - Despite my love of writing dialogue, writing the fleabagnatural series was a real change for me because it was nearly all dialogue and quips from Dean. I hadn't written anything resembling a script for years so it was well outside my comfort zone. I did love writing that series though.

33 - Is there any I wished my audience knew about my writing or writing process? - Just having people read my stuff means the world to me. Knowing that people actually enjoy the silly stories I write fills me with so much joy.

As for my writing process, it involves a lot of coffee, a lot of Spotify playlists and me narrating a lot of dialogue out loud. If it sound weird for me to say then I'll change it up a bit. I know that comes from studying scripts and acting.
