I like to think that when you level up in game, it's actually the courier rediscovering themself, and remembering who they used to be. Getting the muscle memory back and realising what that muscle memory was all along.

Like when you decide to take the Lady Killer/Cherchez La Femme or the Confirmed Bachelor/Black Widow perks, its just the courier realising they're attracted to that gender.

Keeping this here as a memory. 4/22/2023 is where I got an unexpected customer as a host. Jason Marsden aka the voice of Boone from New Vegas popped into my work, Rock N Roll Sushi, and he was such a unique soul. Didn't even know he was in my state but awesome now that I know. He said he's never played the game which is bizarre. I don't think he realizes the impact Craig Boone had on most folks of the Fallout community. I wanna just say thanks to him for being one of the greats!

A small headcannon of mine (since Felix is mute and has to communicate somehow):

• Arcade is he knows asl

• Lily has a passing knowledge of asl but has degraded overtime

• Yes Man downloads what remains on the database on sign language as a whole

• Veronica knows some asl and can understand through context what's being said

• Doc Mitchell knows a little sign, but not a whole lot for effective communication

• Ulysses only learned sign so he can understand the courier if they're mute, deaf, or hard of hearing

Hello tumblr! I disappeared over a month because ive been putting all my efforts into this little project :D

I wanted to make a figurine of my courier six, and finally after much trial and error ive reached something i think im happy with. He has articulated joints(for the most part) and all the clothes come on and off! Im pretty happy with it. Process pictures coming soon in another post!

Fun facts about my courier six OC, part two!

General info:

He’s a trans man(uses he/him pronouns)

He’s gay and asexual(but mostly sex indifferent, maybe even leaning towards favorable)

He’s about 5’7”

He’s blond, like sunshine/golden blond

His eyes are normally a green-blue color, but sometimes, if the sun hits them just right, they look almost bright yellow-ish orange, and it’s always gone before people can even be sure they actually saw it

Other fun facts under the cut

His character originally started out as me just wanting a character I could do all the mean/immoral options with while playing fnv

But he eventually evolved into what he is today, which is still an absolute bastard, he’s just a charismatic cowboy bastard now

He pretty much just does whatever he finds more interesting/intriguing, so if he thinks helping people and being the good guy seems interesting this time around, then he’ll be happy to help! But this also works in reverse, so don’t get your hopes up, too much anyway

He’s great at both lying and acting/pretending, so he can usually keep most people believing whatever he wants them too, with some exceptions of course

If you let him talk long enough, he can make anything seem true

One of his favorite people to mess with is Vulpes, because of how entertaining of a reaction he can get out of him, if he pushes the right buttons(Vulpes absolutely despises him because of this, which is perfectly fine with Jax)

And on the contrary, his favorite person in general/best friend is Veronica! She doesn’t fully know about most of the more unsavory things he’s done, of course, but he does genuinely like her company and considers her his best friend(which for Jax is really saying something)

After going through the whole Big MT looking for his brain, just to find out it was pretentious and British, he decides just shooting it would be the better outcome for everyone

One of the only times he felt true guilt over something is when he went to the divide and Ulysses told him about what happened there(He still remembers what a nuclear blast feels like, the searing of skin, and what happened in the weeks after, he hates thinking about it)

He spared Ulysses by talking him down and still goes to visit him on occasion

I might make a few more of these sometime, but I was also thinking of just letting people ask about specific things about him themselves too
