the miles of difference between Ianthe describing Naberius's physicality as perfect and Palamedes's use of the same word for Dulcie's appearance and how much harder the latter hits after listening to Dulcinea describing her insecurities due to her sickness
Naberius was the ideal cav because he had to be and even if he hadn't been, even if he'd had a physical disadvantage they would have "fixed him"
meanwhile Palamedes spent most of his life trying to fix cure Dulcinea, failed and yet calls her perfect after seeing her for the first time- it doesn't matter what she looked like, he just wanted to see one of the people he loves most at least once and she still hesitated
One pro of finally taking some law classes is that now I can sprinkle in a few more legal fun facts to my ace attorney fanfics! And yet. It also means I don’t have time to write them 😔
more gay people lmao except they're doing each other's makeup because they're going out to the Roller Rink cause it's the 70s and honestly roller blading needs to be brought back
I actually Love Drawing them so much

Series: Part 14 of voice in the back of my head
Summary: After reuniting with Mat and Aviendha, Rand and Elayne turn their attention towards dealing with the Forsaken threats in Caemlyn and Illian.
“That may do me for the night,” Mat said. “I can’t afford to lose all my coin.”
“Surely the Lord Dragon will be willing to cover any debts you may incur,” Weiramon said, quietly enough that Mat could pretend not to hear it, if he wanted. Talmanes straightened up as if Mat had been horribly insulted and maybe he had been, to Cairhienin ears.
“I’m sure he won’t mind you presuming on him. He’d likely enjoy it,” Anaiyella said with a giggle and a pointed little twist to her words, then she covered her mouth as if embarrassed by what she’d said, though Mat didn’t believe that she truly was, not for an instant.
Talmanes looked like a flaming thundercloud. The insult to Mat’s honor had deepened, apparently. But Talmanes remembered Mat’s orders well enough that he didn’t actually say anything. Absolutely no defending Mat's character, no matter what the provocation.
actually something so terrible about underperforming at work. like yes i hate my job, yes every time i make mistakes (of which there have been. multiple) i think about killing myself. we exist.
