A New World Chapter 15: Center Stage
Author Note: There’s some stuff going on with RAS in this chapter, which I might consider expanding on more with a spin off at some point.
First Chapter Previous Chapter
__________________________________________________________
It was a hot, stifling summer afternoon. When Ako and her friends reached their destination, it was a relief to escape the heat.
The mall was cool, but it was unpleasantly warm again inside the arcade. Ako, Rokka, and Asuka had come straight after school, taking the train before walking the final stretch.
Ako was super excited to go; she’d even made sure to bring all of the pocket change she’d been saving. When she found a coin under her desk at school today, that was just an extra bonus.
She led the way inside, looking around with wide eyes at all the flashing games. A wave of noise washed over her, as each game competed for her attention. She hadn’t been here in a while, so there were definitely some new ones.
“Where should we start?” Ako asked, spinning to see more of the arcade. There was a cool new light gun game, oh and a taiko drum game that looked super awesome. She couldn’t ignore the claw machines either. Those large plush animals were too fluffy to resist.
“Why don’t we make a loop?” Asuka suggested, gesturing to the right side of the arcade. The light gun games were over that way, which Ako absolutely wanted to try.
“Let’s go!” Ako pumped one fist in the air, turning to follow the suggested path.
The three teens only made it about ten feet before they stopped at one of the games. It was a large machine with two huge screens, with a large table in front it. A light gun was hooked up on each side, painted in bright neon colors. An indent near the bottom of each side housed a pedal, likely for taking cover in the game.
Rokka stepped up to one of the guns, picking it up confidently. Ako took to other, pointing it at the screen with both hands.
“Have you played this before?” Asuka asked as she stepped up between them.
“Nope.” Ako leaned down to insert a hundred yen coin. Then she took position, ready to fire at the game.
Rokka did the same on her side. “Just once before, when I came with Masuki-san.”
“Oh?” Asuka arched one eyebrow. “How’s it been going with her?”
“T-the same as before.” Rokka almost dropped her light gun as she stumbled over her words. Ako glanced over at her, confused by her reaction. She already knew that Rokka was spending more time with Masking this year, but that was the stutter of someone with secrets to spill.
Ako would’ve asked what she meant by that if Rokka hadn’t fired her light gun at the screen, starting the game before Ako could ask.
A tutorial started to play on both screens, pulling Ako’s attention to it. She learned how to make her character duck behind cover, how to reload her gun, and how to shoot at enemies. It was all easy; though this was a new game, she’d played this type many times before. Her skill level was definitely an A+!
Then it threw her and Rokka into the fray, with waves of enemies spawning around them. Ako fought as hard as she could, shooting every enemy in sight. That didn’t stop them from shooting back at her. It was hard to remember to duck into cover until it was too late.
Before long, her hp had hit zero. The screen flashed with ‘continue?’ as a timer counted down. Ako set her light gun down, perhaps some other time she’d try again.
Rokka, on the other hand, was still going strong. She had about half her health and looked dead serious as she expertly dodged the enemies.
“Gettem!” Ako cheered her on as she made a kill. Asuka had moved to Rokka’s other side and was rooting for her as well, though much more quietly than Ako.
When Rokka made it to the next boss, her fortunes started to change. The boss kept destroying her cover, forcing her to fire out in the open. It hit her a few times, which marked the end of her run. The same ‘continue?’ message appeared, taunting the player to add just one more coin.
Rokka placed the light gun in its holster with a smile. “This one is pretty good.” She said, before asking Asuka if she wanted to try it, but the other teen said she’d pass for now.
The three walked away from the machine, continuing their circle around the arcade. They next approached the crane games, all full of large prizes.
They stopped at one full of medium sized figures, where Asuka tried to bump one from its stand. Rokka and Ako watched with wide eyes as she nudged it, but unfortunately it remained right in exactly the same spot.
As Asuka put in another coin to try again, Rokka reached in her pocked to pull out her phone. She had been smiling before, yet she grimaced as she looked down at the screen. She tapped on the bottom of her phone with both thumbs, probably texting someone, before putting it back in her pocket.
Rokka pulled out a folded piece of paper from that same pocket, looking up at Ako. Ako wasn’t paying any mind to her, as she was engrossed with Asuka’s second failure at getting the figure.
“Hey, Ako.” Rokka called her name quietly, barely loud enough to be heard over the noise of the arcade.
Ako still heard her, though she wasn’t sure exactly what she said. “What is it?”
“Is Roselia busy two Sundays from now?” Rokka’s hand, the one holding the folded paper, fidgeted with the corner of it.
“Hmm, lemme check.” Ako took her phone out and opened the master calendar, clicking to the asked about date. “Just rehearsal, why?” Sunday was usually the best day for the whole band to practice together.
Now Rokka lifted the paper, holding it out to Ako. “RAS is playing at a summer festival. One of the bands dropped out, do you think Roselia would want to perform?”
Ako accepted the paper, unfolding it. It was a colorful flyer, advertising a summer music festival featuring local bands. “I have to ask, but that would be awesome!” Ako snapped a photo of the flyer and sent it to the Roselia group chat.
“RAS wants us to play with them!” Ako typed after sending the photo.
“Looks interesting. If we cancel practice we could do it.” Sayo replied quickly, as usual. It seemed like she was on board.
Rinko was next. “It looks like fun.”
“We haven’t performed in a while.” Lisa chimed in. “What do you think Yukina?”
Yukina could be seen typing for a few moments, slower than the others. “This will be the next step on our path.” After all these years, Ako knew that was a yes.
“Yay!” Ako added a smiling emoji.
“Ako, can you get the organizer’s contact information?” Lisa asked an important question; they would need that to get everything ready.
“For sure.”
Ako grinned as she looked back up at Rokka, who was waiting for her to finish texting. “Roselia is in!”
Rokka nodded once, still with a hint of unease in her expression. “Chuchu will be happy.”
“I’m so excited to play on the same stage as RAS again!” They hadn’t performed at the same venue since early last year. The contest had been stressful, but Ako had loved every minute of it. Oh, right Ako was supposed to ask something. “Do you have the contact info for the event organizer?”
“Yes, one moment.” Rokka took her phone back out, clicked a few times, then showed the screen to Ako. It had a name and phone number on it, which Ako texted directly to Lisa.
After sending it, Ako glanced back up at Rokka. She was looking at her phone, a frown again in place on her lips. Ako wondered what was bothering her, was it something to do with RAS? She never got to ask about Masking earlier too.
Ako opened her mouth to ask, but was once again interrupted by a loud voice.
“Yes!” Asuka exclaimed, startling Ako. Rokka flinched and gave a small ‘eep’ of surprise at the noise. They both turned back to Asuka and saw that she finally succeeded at knocking the figure off the platform.
“Great job!” Rokka recovered quickly and stepped closer to Asuka as she leaned down to retrieve her prize. She seemed to have snapped out of whatever funk she was in.
Ako joined them, stowing her questions for now.
Her phone buzzed in her pocket, which was Lisa thanking her for the info. Roselia’s group chat soon blew up with discussion about a set list.
There was an excitement running through Ako as she read the discussion, a rush of energy. They had a little over two weeks to prepare for the live; she was going to make it great!
______________________________________________________
Today was the big day, the day of the summer festival. Ako had been practicing super hard for the last two weeks to get ready, refining her technique and making sure to play perfectly in time. The band had even squeezed in extra practices to get ready, though they were mostly with only part of the band.
They decided to wear their original stage outfits for today, since it was the band’s classic look. Ako made sure to try it on ahead of time and worked with Rinko to adjust it for her new height.
On the day of the event, Ako left the house with plenty of time to spare. Tomoe was planning to go as well with the rest of Afterglow, but Ako had too much energy to wait.
She carried her costume and drumsticks carefully as she took the train to the venue. It was being held on an outdoor stage at a park, with 6 different band performing over the course of the day. The weather was cooler today, though still moderately hot. Raise A Suilen would perform second, while Roselia was scheduled fifth.
Ako wanted to go early so she wouldn’t be late, so she didn’t have to wait around the house, but there was more to it than that. She also wanted to watch RAS perform; their music was always a lot of fun to listen to. The way they worked the crowd was inspirational.
The park was already bustling when Ako arrived, with many people milling around. Ako weaved through them to reach the backstage area, where she stored her costume and drumsticks in Roselia’s tent. Sayo’s costume was already back there.
Then, Ako headed back out into the crowd. If Sayo’s costume was here she must’ve been too, so she looked for a splash of light blue hair. As expected, she was able to find that distinct color in the crowd.
Surprisingly, there were two individuals there with it. Sayo and Hina were both near the back of the venue, standing together and talking. Ako weaved past a few people to reach them.
“Good morning, Udagawa-san.” Sayo greeted her as she approached. Hina waved as well. “You’re awfully early.”
“Hi!” Ako stopped in front of them. “I was so excited; I couldn’t just stay at home!”
“Me too!” Hina beamed, her smile practically stretching from ear to ear. “I can’t wait to hear Onee-chan play!”
Sayo flushed slightly. “Hina, please remember there are people around.” Indeed, a few of the audience members had turned to stare.
“Oh, sorry.” Hina clamped one hand over her mouth, giggling as she did.
The conversation shifted to the other bands playing today. Besides Roselia and RAS, there were four others. One was from Sayo’s school and often performed there. Ako hadn’t heard of the others, but she was still excited to hear them play.
Rinko arrived next, appearing in the group without a word. Afterglow came over to say hi when they got there, but they only stayed for a minute. They were determined to get a good spot near the stage.
Lisa and Yukina walked up ten minutes before the first group was set to perform. The band decided they would stay to watch through RAS, then they’d head backstage. They stood in the corner, where it would be easier to slip away.
The crowed had completely filled up, with at least a thousand people packed into the park. They cheered as the first band came on stage, waving multi-colored penlights in the air.
Ako cheered too, waving her arms to the music. This band was great! Their music almost seemed to fly by, as they rolled through one song after another. Their drummer was particularly good, hitting some impressive patterns.
Before Ako knew it, it was time for RAS. They came on stage to a flurry of cheers.
The audience had grown even more since the start of the concert. Chuchu called out to the audience to introduce them. She named each member as they played a solo, with Pareo introducing her last.
Ako had seen them do this many times, but it still impressed her to this day. She probably had stars in her eyes as she cheered at the start of their first song.
They opened with Hell or Hell, which was one of Ako’s favorites, before hyping up the crowd through Unstoppable and A Declaration of XXX.
Ako tried to ask Rokka how things were with the band at school last week, after they didn’t get to talk about it at the arcade, but Rokka insisted that everything was fine. Based on the strength of this performance, Ako could only believe that to be true.
Despite any trouble the band might’ve been having, their music came together perfectly. Ako mostly watched the drums, noting Masking’s excellent technique.
When RAS finished, it was time for Roselia to head backstage. Hina wished them luck as they walked away.
Immediately upon reaching the back, the band found themselves face to face with RAS. They had just come off the stage and must’ve been heading to their tent.
“Minato Yukina.” Chuchu was covered in sweat from having just performed in the heat, yet she still had the energy to point directly at Yukina. “There’s no way your stage outshines ours!”
Yukina’s expression was impassive as always. “We will see.” She replied simply, before brushing past the band.
“You were amazing!” Lisa called as the rest of the band followed her. Ako looked back to shoot them a thumbs up and a grin.
As Roselia reached their tent, they could hear the next band starting to play. They quickly changed into their outfits for the show and prepared their instruments. Ako only needed her drumsticks, since she would use the drum set on stage.
The tent was soon full of the sounds of the band, of Yukina warming up, Sayo tuning her guitar, and Lisa practicing one last song. Rinko would use the keyboard on stage as well, so she was taking the time to stretch her fingers.
Once they were ready, they circled up. Ako leaned in between Rinko and Lisa in the circle, with one arm around each of them.
“This is our first performance of the new year.” Yukina took the lead in the huddle. “Let’s show them our devotion.”
Ako nodded, prepared to do just that. She looked around at her band members, who each wore expressions of determination.
The band broke the circle and left the tent, heading to where they were supposed to wait. The fourth band had just started, so soon it would be their turn.
They had to wait a little, but their turn did come. After the previous band finished and left the stage, Roselia went up the steps to take their place.
The crowd cheered loudly, with purple penlights on full display. Ako waved broadly at the audience, before sitting down at the drums. She adjusted the seat quickly and checked that the drum set was in the right spots. On the other side of the stage, Rinko had finished doing something similar.
After moving one of the snares, Ako looked over at Yukina. The vocalist was waiting for that cue.
“We are Roselia.” Yukina introduced the band to the audience. “Our first song is Black Shout.” With that, Ako counted off and the band started to play.
They chose Black Shout as the opener since it was one of their most well known songs. Ako played it confidently, hitting her parts exactly right. She even used the new technique she’d been refining. This was great, she was playing perfectly.
There was a problem though, as Ako turned her ears towards her bandmates something felt off. The audience was still roaring, but something sounded wrong. Ako kept her smile pasted on her face as she glanced over towards Rinko. She wondered if Rinko could feel it too.
Rinko was still smiling as well, but it looked strained. She met Ako’s gaze for a moment, so Ako cued the next down beat with a larger motion.
For a moment, that made the feeling go away. But it didn’t stay gone.
The piano felt off. It wasn’t just the piano, the guitar, the bass, and the vocals too. It felt like the band was bursting out in every direction, pulling the music their way. Ako stayed in the center of that, keeping the beat. Their sound was completely different than before, something new and scary.
Sayo had turned back towards her, lips drawn in a tight line. Ako cued her as well, hoping that would help.
It didn’t.
The band felt unstable, like it was on the verge of tearing. Ako knew that wouldn’t happen, that every member of her band was capable of staying together no matter how strange they sounded. No matter how they clashed in this moment, they could still play Black Shout together.
They continued on to the next song. The crowd cheered even louder. They had especially enjoyed the guitar solo.
Ako wondered if the crowd couldn’t hear it, or perhaps it was in her imagination. No, as Lisa as well looked for a cue she normally would’ve hit without help, Ako knew the problem was real. The rest of the band could feel it too.
The second song ended and they continued on to the next. Some songs felt better than others, while some felt far worse. Ako fought to keep her smile up the entire live, which became even harder with the heat of summer.
The crowd was still cheering loudly when they finished their final song, still enthusiastically waving their penlights in the air.
Roselia bowed and thanked them, before leaving the stage. Ako wasn’t sure what to think about their performance, or how to feel. They walked back to their tent in silence.
Once inside, Ako stopped by the entrance. She couldn’t just hold in her words. “What happened out there?” She asked, looking between her bandmates.
Sayo and Lisa were both putting their instruments away. Rinko had her hands held together, while Yukina stood with her arms crossed.
“I-I’m not sure…” Rinko muttered.
“We were out of sync.” Sayo cut in, glaring up from her guitar case.
Yukina’s eyes narrowed. “We shouldn’t have been.” Her stare was heavy.
Lisa finished zipping her bass case, then turned towards the rest of the band. “We need to talk about it.” She said, eyes landing on Yukina. Even she was not smiling. “Let’s meet next Sunday, instead of band practice. We’ll figure this out.” That was probably the next time they would all be free again.
“Alright.” Yukina acquiesced without a fight. “I’m going to watch the last band.” With that she turned and exited the tent, leaving the other band members behind. Lisa sighed as she watched her go.
Ako stepped over to Rinko, who was now wringing her hands together. “We should do that too.” At least it could take their minds off of their performance.
Rinko nodded and followed Ako as she started to walk away. Sayo and Lisa remained in the tent.
They didn’t go back out to the audience, since they were still in costume, but they watched the last band from backstage. Yukina was nowhere to be found. Hina came past as they watched, likely looking for Sayo. The sixth band was excellent, as expected.
It didn’t succeed at distracting Ako from her thoughts. She could only remember how Black Shout had sounded, how it had felt as the band pulled in different directions.
Next week they would debrief it. She couldn’t wait.

Pokemon Sword/Shield headcanon dump
Surprise I have a lot of geographical/public transit headcanons. Good mind to write a story that centres around it tbh.
Galar is probably not big, from the fact that flying by Corviknight from Hammerlocke to Postwick is negligible enough that it kinda just cuts from one to the other in the game. I imagine it’s still quite a bit of time, like 2 hours perhaps.
The reason people don’t just take the flying taxi all the time is that it’s expensive compared to the trains.
Also, based on Twilight Wings, you can get from to Postwick to Turffield in an afternoon (I assume there’s a train ride involved) so it’s probably a 6-hour ride from north to south at the most. It’s not a long trip but it’s enough that no one wants to take it daily.
I do think there’s one train line serving Hammerlocke to Wyndon specifically, it passes through the mountain range and I imagine it’s maybe a 2 hour ride. And a different one runs from Hammerlocke to Wedgehurst through Motostoke, this one’s more like 4 hours. There’s a third line from Wedgehurst to the Wild Area meetup spot, this one’s 1 hour at the most.
Player character and co:
My Victor's signature Pokemon is Vikavolt just because of the name. But he also has an Arcanine, and he probably picked Sobble.
My Gloria’s signature Pokemon is usually Coalossal, I dunno I just like Coalossal and think it fits her. She also usually has a Roselia/Roserade because it’s fun for the visuals. Normally I have her pick Sobble, but the AU where she and Victor are twins, she picks Scorbunny.
(Hop usually picks Scorbunny, but in the twin AU, he gets Grookey. I like the direction of the type advantages, and also Victor with Sobble.)
My Victor is reserved and very no-nonsense while Gloria is a bit of a goof, but determined when it comes to it. That way the trio has a nice balance of personalities
Victor and/or Gloria probably moved to Postwick when they were kids, maybe 6 years old, which is why they’ve never met Leon. Where they moved from is anyone’s guess, but I tend to imagine it’s a city off the map that’s closer to the north, or even an unnamed neighbouring region.
Victor also wins the champion cup but idm stories where Gloria does, I see them as equals in battle prowess. My HC Victor has his head firmly on his shoulders and would have the most humility when he wins. I like the idea that Victor is a  strategist while Gloria relies on high speed/attack
Rivals:
Hardcore supporter of Sonia and Hop having a big sister/little brother relationship. Sonia is just “smh” at Leon never being around, because she has always wanted a younger sibling so how is it he can stand to never visit his bro. She takes up that role more and more over time, especially after Hop becomes her assistant. They are both loquacious and lack a filter so they end up telling each other about every last problem on top of complaining about work. They also have no qualms voicing annoyance at each other.
Marnie sees through bullshit, kind of like my HC Victor does, but she also has no qualms being firm about telling people off, unlike Victor. All of them keep Marnie’s contact number on hand and probably hang out with her when they need a good talk about something serious or if they need defending against a bully (like Bede).
I especially like to imagine Hop and Marnie are great friends. Hop trusts Marnie enough to vent to her, and Marnie finding him a breath of fresh air and hangs out when she’s sick of gym leader responsibilities. I imagine she had a hand in snapping him out of his insecurities about living up to Leon, she’s like “look he probably doesn’t want to be put on a pedestal” because she Knows. They complain about their brothers.
Speaking of which, Leon and Piers are just complete embarrassments to their younger siblings. Marnie and Hop probably hang out whenever the two are on live TV just to mock everything they do onscreen.
Bede is still a bit nasty after becoming a gym leader, like he’s not as bad but he doesn’t completely reform. He is absolutely a drama starter, he doesn’t even have to try, and half of Galar kinda lives for it even though it’s unpleasant at times.
Bede gets the ratings on any TV programme way up, so he’s constantly appearing on TV. And in the news. He just rides around Galar on his sparkly Rapidash like some fancy bastard and all the people who love glam assholes are falling over their feet for his autograph.
I HC both Leon and Hop as having ADHD. Especially Leon because of his vibe of being extremely competent in somethings but completely hopeless at others (relatable). Plus they’re always running off ahead of everyone else, they get super focused on things, Leon always loses his way, Hop is always barging in without thinking, etc.
Ever since I found out about them, I like the idea of Leon and Hop’s middle names being their French names, Tarak and Nabil.
Gym leaders:
I like to imagine that the gym leaders sometimes drop by each other’s and bring food from their town. The Corviknight taxis make it possible to do that without food getting cold.
Piers relies on people (especially Marnie) bringing him food or else he just. doesn’t eat. He’s probably passed out from not eating. (this is also relatable)
They probably also just hang out a whole lot. I like to imagine being a gym leader is a 4 day work week at worst, it’s good money and they get hella free time during the off-season. So that means all those “AUs” where they all just hang out and do silly shit together are totally valid and canon in my HC.
On that note I imagine that Sonia and Nessa have weekly lunch dates. They absolutely vent and shittalk people during those, like we see in Twilight Wings. Every week it’s like “hey so what’s happened since the last time we talked” and there’s always a whole new story because being a gym leader is so much drama.
Speaking of drama, there is absolutely drama among Piers, Raihan, Nessa, Gordie and Leon, and it gets 10x worse when Bede becomes a leader. The others stay out of it, lol.
No one can get any shit by Opal. She’s clearly very perceptive but she is also immune to people’s attempts to faze her. She probably saw the Darkest Day and was like “oh ha no big deal I’ve seen worse“

𝔸𝕋𝕆𝕄𝔸ℕ ℙ𝕆𝕂𝔼𝔻𝔼𝕏 – CANON POKÉMON PRESENT IN THE UNIVERSE
Tumblr media
On this post will be a list of some zones in Atoma and which Pokémon that already exist in the Pokémon universe you can find there. List of the gym leaders and towns they occupy ► HERE
To note that this list will only include a few of the areas in Atoma, mainly the ones already talked about, as some other minor towns / places still need names. The Wild Area will not be included in the list as it groups a lot of Pokémon. Few variants will be revealed on this list. Only two areas of the Sonian Woods will be discussed. This list will be prone to change in the future.
As a reminder, here is the map:
Tumblr media
FLINT CANTON & SUNNYSTONE CROSSROADS – As these are located in the countryside and are inspired by the Netherlands, windmills and flower fields are symbolic in these towns. The professor’s lab is located on the route between the two towns.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Bidoof, Dedenne ( rare ). Jinx can be rarely found at nighttime.
Starly, Pidove, Ducklett
Skiddos, Cerubi are rare ones.
Hoppip, Sunkern, Bedew and Gossifleur ( rare ) can be found in flower fields.
Seedot and Caterpie
Surskit and Poliwag in the water areas and grass near the water.
Rolicoli, Carbink and Minior ( rare ) can be found in a cavern accessible just a little bit outside route two. Outside the cave can be found Rockruff, although very rare.
UNDERBRASS & OLD METRO STATION – The Underbrass, located underground, is both a humid and dark place. Which is why ground, dark, and water types in the underground canals will thrive there. You get access to a standard fishing pole.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Qwilfish, Tympole, Barboach ( rare ) and Carvanha ( rare ) will be in the water canals. Grimer can be occasionally found.
Zubats can be found outside the living area with Koffing. Spinarak are here and there.
Digglets are known for sometimes disturbing the caves of the old metro station, and a mission of catching five of them will have to be done for you to get access to the old metro station, and so the next area.
Galarian Stunfisk are known for being a problem in the Underbrass.
BISMUBOPOLIS, THE BEACH AREA & ROUTE FOUR – Finally getting out of the Underbrass, we arrive at Bismubopolis via Metro. We now have a change of scenery and leave the countryside and underground to be greeted by gigantic skyscrapers and a sea of people. Navigating in the area will be hard, as Bismubopolis is the biggest Atoman town, and has got different sections, a bit like Lumiose. The beach is not too far from the town however, and is rather clean too, the gym leader being extremely strict on it as it is her vacation spot.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Koffing can be found in the suburbs, Rockruff as well, although still rare and in Atoman form, just as Growlithe is. Dwebble is present on the route between the town and the beach along with Salandit.
Scraggy hangs in the few park areas of the city, or is dumpster-diving with Galarian Zigzagoon.
Golett and Mudbray are on route four with occasional Phanpy, Sandygast is on the beach at night.
Budew comes back with Roselia.
At the beach one can find Panpour, Clauncher in the water, with the occasional Wishiwashi.
LARIMAR HARBOR & THE SEA – This one is a city that aesthetically looks closer to Galar’s Hulbury, although more developed and with the presence of a bigger port and a gigantic dam. Water types, of course, are the happiest Pokémon there, with few flying types near the sea. The Atoman waters between Larimar and the Red Lands are rather calm and friendly – but stray too far and you will be met with violent currents and less friendly ecosystem.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Dhelmise can be found in less friendly and more dark waters in the sea. Shellder and Kloyster are not too far either. Sharpedo, although rare, lurks.
Starmie, Horsea will meet you as they are curious by nature. Watch out for Seadra and Frillish. Going north, you will meet more ice-types such as Spheal and Sealeo and the occasional Eiscue on an island.
You will find a cavern near the shore. Chinchou rests there before going out in the open sea at night. A Kingler and its Krabby will be on land. Marils are adorable – but watch out for Huntail. You will find a fossil there.
THE RED LANDS & THE MINES – One is an arid land of red soil, the others are dangerous caverns. The sun hits hard on the Red Lands, so you will have to be prepared for the harsh climate and the occasional sunburns, as well as the wilderness, a little bit harder to tame than the usual. You will find ground, fire, rock, dark-types, and water-types near the oasis.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Rare but be careful: Midnight Lyncarock will be stalking at night-time. Cacturne will do the same from the moment the sun will start to go down. Sandile and Krokorok are present is open areas.
Aaron, Lairon, Larvitar ( rare ), Gible ( even more rare ), Gligar, Houndour, Slizipede, Wimpod, Carkol and Drilbur are present in the vast mines.
Palpitoad and Seismitoad will hang near the oasis. You will find Bruxish, Drednaw, and Cramorant hunting for Arrokuda. Fineon swims with Remoraid and Octillery.
THE SONIAN WOODS – Past the Atoman Wild Area exist the Sonian Woods. It is easy for one to get lost in there for the nature of the forest, how big it is, and how many areas its got, but gym challengers will be directed towards a single bath that will breach into two. One will lead to a more swampy area and towards Neonburg, the other towards an eerie forest and Sardonyx Ville.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
In the swamp area, you will find Wooper, Quagsire, Vibrava is exceptionally rare. Barboach swims with Wishcash, Crawdaunt will protect its territory. Bibarel are known for their natural dams and are present in many parts of the region. You will also find Croagunk.
In the forest towards Sardonyx, Morelull will light up the way. Clefairy and Ralts are noctural. Do not be fooled by the fae – ghosts lurk at any hour. You will find Pumpkaboo, Ghastly and Haunter, Misdreavus will play tricks on you. Trevenant is rarely seen, but present and watching you.
NEONBURG & THE DUMPING GROUNDS – Neonburg is already known for the swamp, which was discussed earlier. But the sixth / seventh gym ( depending on who you will choose to battle first ) is located on the dumping grounds. This area can be explored by trainers – and many poison-types lurk around.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Alolan Grimer and Muk, Tentacool are in the contaminated waters.
Trubbish is here with Garbodor. They are atoman variants.
THE SECRET PASSAGE – After battling Varia, or battling Strelitzia, you will have to go back to the other town to snatch a badge. You will be escorted to the entrance of a secret passage by one of the gym leaders. It is used to access to the other town pretty quickly by the other, mainly to pull on pranks on each other. You will meet very few Pokémon in there, mainly Golbats and Dugtrio.
TOWARDS SMOKYQUARTZ SHORES, THE RIVER, TO THE LEAGUE – Smokyquarts is where your quest for badges will end. To each that town, you will have to cross the river with a Pokémon. Smokyquarts Shores are known for the beautiful weather and for being a perfect vacation spot. Towards the league, it will start getting colder. You will meet ice-types, along dragon-types.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Pokémon that can be found on the riverside are Natu, Orbeetle. Beldum is extremely rare in the area. You might find Skarmory and Klefky.
Maril comes back with Panpour, you can find Lombre, Tentacool, Seaking.
Towards the league you will start to meet more ice-types. Dewdong, Snover, Sneasel, and rarely, at nighttime, Lapras.
For dragon-types, Dreepy is sometimes around during the day, Altaria is higher up in the mountains.
THE BATTLEFIELD – The Battlefield rests suspended in time. Weapons and armors rest scattered about where knights and fighters of Atoma rest in eternal slumber. You will have access to that area after passing the Sonian Woods, which have a direct passage leading to the Battlefield. Here you will find mainly ghosts and steel-types.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Ghastly and Honedge are abundant, if you are lucky enough, you might stumble on Aegislash. You might be able to fish up Dhelmise.
You will find Murkrow around with Vullaby and Mandibuzz, as well as rarely Absol, who is said to protect the spirits of the deads.

𝔸𝕋𝕆𝕄𝔸ℕ ℙ𝕆𝕂𝔼𝔻𝔼𝕏 -- Canon Pokémon present in the universe
FLINT CANTON & SUNNYSTONE CROSSROADS -- As these are located in the countryside and are inspired of the Netherlands, windmills and flower fields are symbolic in these towns.
UNDERBRASS & OLD METRO STATION -- The Underbrass, located underground, is both a humid and dark place.
BISMUBOPOLIS, THE BEACH AREA & ROUTE FOUR -- Finally getting out of the Underbrass, we arrive to Bismubopolis via Metro.
LARIMAR HARBOR & THE SEA -- This one is a city that aesthetically looks closer to Galar’s Hulbury, although more developed and with the presence of a bigger port and a gigantic dam. Water types, of course, are the happiest Pokémon there, with few flying types near the sea. The Atoman waters between Larimar and the Red Lands are rather calm and friendly -- but stray too far and you will be met with violent currents and less friendly ecosystem.
Marils are adorable -- but watch out for Huntail. You will find a fossil there.
THE RED LANDS & THE MINES -- One is an arid land of red soil, the others are dangerous caverns.
THE SONIAN WOODS -- Past the Atoman Wild Area exist the Sonian Woods. It is easy for one to get lost in there for the nature of the forest, how big it is, and how many areas its got, but gym challengers will be directed towards a single bath that will breach into two. One will lead to a more swamp-y area and towards Neonburg, the other towards an eerie forest and Sardonyx Ville.
Do not be fooled by the fae -- ghosts lurk at any hour. You will find Pumpkaboo, Ghastly and Haunter, Misdreavus will play tricks on you. Trevenant is rarely seen, but present and watching you.
NEONBURG & THE DUMPING GROUNDS -- Neonburg is already known for the swamp, which was discussed earlier. But the sixth / seventh gym ( depending on who you will choose to battle first ) is located in the dumping grounds. This area can be explored by trainers -- and many poison-types lurk around.
List of Pokémon that can be found:
Alolan Grimer and Muk, Tentacool are in the contaminated waters.
Trubbish is here with Garbodor. They are atoman variants.
THE SECRET PASSAGE -- After battling Varia, or battling Strelitzia, you will have to go back to the other town to snatch a badge. You will be escorted to the entrance of a secret passage by one of the gym leaders. It is used to access to the other town pretty quickly by the other, mainly to pull on pranks on each other. You will meet very few Pokémon in there, mainly Golbats and Dugtrio.
TOWARDS SMOKYQUARTZ SHORES, THE RIVER, TO THE LEAGUE -- Smokyquarts is where your quest for badges will end.
THE BATTLEFIELD -- The Battlefield rests suspended in time.

Love Can be a Landslide of Emotions
So this fic was made as a gift to @polarbearsign as I wanted to write something YukiLisa and they're also finishing up their exams as I am writing this now so I wanted to give them a "Congratz" in the form of an angsty fic...
Aaaanyway I hope you enjoy. I initially wanted this to be done in 1 big thing but that turned out to be too much of a task to get out in the small amount of time I had to write it. I will be updating this as I manage to write stuff for it so it shouldn't take toooo long.
If you enjoy my writing and want to hang out some time, please consider visiting my discord server. If you want to consider supporting me a little further, I have a Patreon now and I also have commissions open.
Thank you to the people that already decided to become a patron.
Summary: Moca and Lisa often end up talking about how they both have crushes on their best friends, Ran and Yukina, as they work.
Roselia are also preparing for an upcoming show and Yukina is spending a lot more time writing this new song than she usually does, causing Lisa to worry about her.
Only time will tell how things turn out...
The wind rustles the leaves of the few trees that are littered along the side of the road. The sun peeks over the top of the buildings as it continues its descent. The street itself is almost devoid of people, with just the occasional person scurrying here and there. Workers of each store stare blankly as they try to find ways to pass the time.
Two such workers are behind the counter of a small store, dressed in the blue shirts and white aprons that make up their uniform. One has long light brown hair, tied up behind her While the other has short grey hair, her eyelids closed over her eyes.
“Say Moca, have you managed to make any progress with Ran yet?” The girl with long light brown hair turns to the other figure, not realizing how heavy the girl’s breathing is.
“Huh?” Moca’s head looks up, blinking rather rapidly as she shakes her head a little. “Hmm… Same as always.” She chuckles to herself while doing a small stretch, a yawn passing her lips a few seconds later.
The light brown-haired girl giggles when she hears this. “I feel you there…” She lets out a sigh, turning her head to gaze out the window. “I’ve known Yukina for years now and she’s still impossible to read.” Another sigh escapes her lips.
She feels a finger poke her cheek, causing her to turn her head to the side. “Liiisa… You should just tell her.” Moca yawns as she says this. “Get it out of the way…” She pauses a little, her hand stroking her chin. “…then you can stop worrying about it.”
“I don’t think I can do that…” Lisa shakes her head. “I’m happy with what we have; I wouldn’t want to ruin it by doing something stupid.” She sighs. “Yukina is too focused on the band at the moment anyway… she wouldn’t want a distraction.”
“Okaaay…” Moca turns to face the light brown-haired girl. She opens her mouth to say something, but the sound of the door to the store opening causes her to let the thought die in her throat. She opts to just smile and observe as the customer approached her.
The two figures on the stage let out a simultaneous sigh of relief as the sounds of their music slowly fades into nothing. Lisa takes a deep breath as she opens eyelids she didn’t even realize were closed. She looks over at the other figure, another girl standing up straight with long silver hair flowing down her back and whose hand was still gripping the microphone.
“Yukina, we really should call it here.” Lisa walks over and places a hand on the girl’s shoulder. “The others left hours ago.” She watches the other girl relax, taking in a deep breath and then turning to face her.
“Yes… we should.” Yukina sighs. “We should be able to get that part down by the end of the week.” Her brows furrow a little before her mouth opens into a yawn.
“Looks like someone is a little tired.” Lisa chuckles, taking a step back to give Yukina some space and allow her to put her bass away in its case. “I hope you don’t plan to do this all the time though.” Lisa looks up as she does the zip up. “Rest is important too.”
Yukina nods at her. “I am going to spend as much time as I need.” She starts to get ready to leave herself. “But I will make sure I get some rest as well.”
The sun is already past the horizon as the two girls finally exit CiRCLE. The streets are dimly lit by the street lights above, a chill lingers in the air and a wind blows past, making the trees sway back and forth.
“That was a good session though” Lisa’s grip tightens on the strap of her bass as she says this, adjusting it a little so it sits better on her back.
“Yes… We’re getting the hang of this song now…” The two of them start to walk a little faster. “But you didn’t have to stay so long.”
“Nonsense.” Lisa dismisses the comment with a wave of her hand. “I couldn’t just leave you to walk home on your own.” She giggles. “It was nice to get the extra practice in; I’ve been struggling with that part for a while now.”
“You really have improved a lot, Lisa.” Yukina nods as she says this. “We should be fine for our next performance… I just need to focus on this final song.”
Lisa sighs as she hears this. “It isn’t too much work for you is it?” Her hand clutches the strap around her tighter. “I can help you write it if you want.”
“It should be ready in time for us to practice it.” Yukina nods again. “I am just going to have to do a little extra work on it.”
“D-Don’t overwork yourself… please…” Lisa lets out a sigh as they come to a stop outside their houses, she gazes at the singer, her brows furrowed. After a deep breath, she opens her mouth again. “You need rest as well.”
“I won’t… thank you for the offer.” Yukina waves goodbye and heads into her house, leaving Lisa standing there staring after her.
It wasn’t often that Lisa found herself walking home alone. She was so used to having Yukina with her that it just felt strange to be alone. She finds herself being lost in thought a lot more than usual, staring off into the distance.
“Liiisa…” Her name being called snaps the bassist from her daze and almost makes her jump as she sees Moca walking beside her. “Wakey wakey.. .” The girl chuckles as she says this.
“M-Moca… what are you doing here?” Lisa looks up from the girl to look around the area. “Where’s Ran? Don’t you always walk with her?”
“Hmm… busy…” Moca lets out a yawn and stretches her arms towards the sky. “Where’s Yukina?”
“She wanted to be alone today.” Lisa sighs while staring off into the distance. “She wants to focus on writing this new song… but she’s struggling and won’t accept any help.”
“Sounds… boooring.” Moca yawns again, still stretching her arms. “Hmm... have you tried… just talking to her?”
“Well… kinda…” Lisa stops walking to gaze off into the distance. “I asked if I could help and told her not to overwork herself.” Lisa sighs and turns back to face Moca. “But I shouldn’t have expected a different outcome, she’s always been like that.”
“Hmm… have you thought about… approaching it in a different way?”
“What do you mean?” Lisa’s face shifts to one of confusion.
“Well… hmm… maybe you could show her something of your own…” Moca stares off in thought. “Hmm… or… you could…” She takes a few seconds to think. “Maybe… you should tell her how you feel…”
“I… why would that change anything?”
“Hmm… she might… view things a little… differently… if she knew how you feel.”
“I… I don’t know…” Lisa starts to drum her fingers on her arm. “I feel she might not see things that way…”
“Hmm… true…” Moca lets out an exhausted sigh. “How about… we both confess…”
Lisa’s eyes grow wide as she looks at Moca. “Both of us! But you… you weren’t ready to tell Ran yet.” She pauses, trying to figure out exactly what she wants to say. “And… I still don’t know whether I want to yet…”
“Well… I don’t mind doing it if you do as well…” Moca yawns again, making it almost impossible to tell how serious she was if you didn’t know her well.
“I… um… okay…” Lisa nods her head as if affirming her thought process. “Let’s do this.”
Lisa and Yukina come to a stop just outside their houses. It had been another long evening of practice, so much so that their walk home had been in complete silence. The only sound surrounding them was the rustling of leaves as the wind flows through them and the distant sound of cars.
“Thank you for staying again Lisa,” Yukina finally breaks the ice that was surrounding them as she turns to face the other girl. “It is nice to have you there with me.”
Lisa feels blood rushing to her cheeks. “It’s rare to get a compliment from you Yukina.” She giggles as she says this, her hand fiddling with the strap around her.
Lisa takes a deep breath. “Um… Yukina… I need to tell you something…”
“Huh?” Yukina’s eyes widen for a few moments before she returns to her neutral look. “What’s wrong?”
“I um…” Lisa takes a deep breath, remembering that Moca is doing the same thing. “I… I think I like you…” She closes her eyes in a hope to not see Yukina’s reaction. “…as more than a friend…”
Yukina stands there slowly taking a few deep breaths as her eyes stare at the girl in front of her, the girl she has known for so many years, the girl she considers her best… friend.
“I’m… I’m sorry Lisa…”
All of the doubts that Lisa had been feeling, the ones that had told her not to do this, rushed to the forefront of her mind. She knew it was stupid to do it, and all her fears had just come true.
"I... Care deeply for you, Lisa, but not... not in the way that you want. I cannot fulfill what you are asking of me. I'm sorry."
Lisa tries to think of anything to say, without success. Even if she could, she wasn't sure if the words would be able to come out of her quickly drying throat.
"Good... Goodnight, Lisa."
With that, the girl turned away and quickly strode towards her house, not looking back at her friend.
Lisa's legs felt like giving out at any second like her whole being was turning to jelly. She didn't know how, but somehow, she ended up back home, and in her bed. Her head was an ocean of mixed emotions she couldn't make sense of and felt like it could explode at any moment.  The numbness within her slowly lulled her into a shallow, dreamless rest, and left her feeling cold, empty, and wondering how she could bear to see that face again.

Entry #7
I set off to the contest stadium to get a ‘proper’ thanks from Keira. When I got there, I saw her standing right next to my mom. surprised, I walked up to them.
When I greeted them both, Keira was surprised that my mom, Johanna, was in fact, my mom. Apparently, my mom was a contest star, and she never told me about that.
Keira gave me an acessory in thanks for catching her buneary last time. She then said that she was a judge, and that she would be waiting for me to join a contest.
I didn’t really want to do a contest, and my mom saw that. She just smiled, gave me a dress, and said that I didn’t have to follow in her footsteps, but it would be nice if I did it just once for Keira.
I sighed, and went to sign up for a super contest. I had Zip enter the cute contest, and went in.
Let me tell you, I was never going to do that again.
Yeah, we won, even though Zip was in a disadvantage with all cool category moves, but I was not into contests.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The best thing about the contest, was that I over heard some of my competitors talk about Amity Square, and I thought that that might be fun for me and my pokemon, so as soon as I was out of the contest hall, I rushed to the entrance of Amity Square.
I was disappointed when I was told the only pokemon on my team allowed outside their pokeballs in that area was Zip and Thona. Janna was upset as well.
I did stroll a little, laughing a little as I watched Zip, heh, zip around, finding more stuff than usual. I also spent more time with Thona, who for some reason decided to wrap one of its arms around my arm and float behind me as I walked.
It was kinda nice, just relaxing. But when I got out of the square, I went outside the city a little bit to let all of my pokemon spend some time out of their balls.
I did see my neighbor again. Barry wanted a battle, and replied to my look that I should be available to battle whenever.
Cookiemon was out first, and I set him up with a rollout, which defeated Barry’s starly, and had a near miss with the Roselia before taking it down, and then taking down the ponyta after getting burned. I switched him out for Zip, who shocked Barry’s prinplup away.
After the battle, Barry told me that he had already gone to the gym, and that the gym leader wasn’t there.  He said that he was going to go to the Veilstone gym next, and that I should be there.
He then left, running off, leaving me and my pokemon.
Right before I got on route 209, a man stopped me and asked if I wanted to have an egg for free. I shrugged and took it, putting Cookieman in the box temporarily as I hatched the egg.
The first pokemon on that route was a staravia, which made my heart hurt for Ilsa. I still miss her and her off put personality. I couldn’t catch the staravia, so I just left it and tried to find a new pokemon to catch.
I did find a chansey, and it took a while to chip her health away and catch her, due to her using soft boil over and over again. And then when Janna used stun spore, the chansey kept using refresh! Just let me catch you!
After a long while, I caught her and named her Egg.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We made it to Solaceon town, where I found that there was a daycare that could raise pokemon for you. I decided to leave Dwayne and Dancer with the daycare lady, due to them being the lowest levels.
After I had done that, I overheard some people talking about the lost tower, a pokemon graveyard. When I stopped to ask them about it, they said that it’s normal for trainers to pay respect to their lost pokemon, even if the pokemon wasn’t buried there.
I decided that we would go there, and we did, climbing all the way to the top. Owen was right next to me the whole time, as she was on my journey. Rice had to stay in her pokeball as we climbed due to her size, but I let her out when we got to the top.
When we reached it, I sat down to remember the friends I’d lost. Coco, Tofu, Quinsten, and Ilsa. I miss them so much.
After a while, I noticed that Thona was doing something in the corner. I went over there to see what she was doing, and found that she was taking care of an injured gastly. I pulled out a potion and helped out, and soon the ghost pokemon was well.
He was following me as we left, so I caught him and named him Igor.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At the base of the tower, a trainer challenged me to a battle, and I agreed, thinking that Rice could take care of his krikitune.
But Rice accidentally missed a rock tomb on the last turn of the krickitune’s bide, and the other pokemon killed Rice.
I- I was so angry at the other trainer. Thona held me back as Owen defeated the bug pokemon. The other trainer then left, and I was there with Rice’s body.
Why! Rice didn’t do anything wrong! It not fair!
With help from my pokemon, I found a spot to bury Rice, and put her back in her pokemon due to her size, and burried her.
Rice didn’t have to die.
With Thona clinging to my arm, I went to the pokecenter and withdrew Cookiemon, and then cycled out of town.

How To Purify A Shadow Lugia
First you need to max out the purification chamber tempo by putting in pokemon (not shadow) in order of thier strength in all nine chambers. Then place the Shadow Lugia in any chamber and it will be purify instantly with the attacks Earthquake, Featherdance, Hydro Pump, Psycho Boost.
Recommending Team
I’d recommend to have the following pokemon: mawile, ursaring, jolteon, swalot, houndoom, and forretress. Id have mawile know the moves: icy wind, brick break, sucker punch, and toxic. Having ursaring know: seismic toss, dig, bulk up, and facade. Making jolteon know pinmissle, doublekick, thunder, and shadowball. Making swalot know sing, dream eater, shockwave, and sludgebomb. Have houndoom know: flamethrower, bite, charm, and solarbeam. Have forretress know: body slam, earthquake, sunnyday, and sandstorm.
Awkward Battle
On platform 33 at mt battle area 4 you battle a girl named fopaw and if you look closely it looks like shes wearing no pants (it could just be me but its funny anyways).
Strongest Pokemon Duo
Pokemon 1: Jolteon moves: thunder, double kick, bite, and thunderbolt pokemon 2: hitmonlee moves: mega kick, shadow rush, shadow half, shadow down.
Battle CDs You Can Buy In Realgam Tower
There are three Battle CD’s that you can buy right away in Realgam Tower (They will be available at the desk in the Battle Sim room). These are Battle CD’s 2, 3, and 4. For Battle CD’s 9, 13, and 17 to be available to buy, you need to have won Battle Sims in Battle CD’s 2, 3, and 4. For Battle CD’s 25, 26, and 30 to be available to buy, you need to have won Battle Sims in Battle CD’s 9, 13, and 17.
Battle CDs That Are Free In Realgam Tower
If you beat a certain Battle Sim from a Battle CD, it will let you get a free Battle CD (which is actually the flipside of the CD you have just beaten, like Side A and Side B). Here are all of the CD’s you can get buy beating other Battle CD’s: 34: Win Battle Sim in Battle CD 33 37: Win Battle Sim in Battle CD 36 39: Win Battle Sim in Battle CD 38 41: Win Battle Sim in Battle CD 40 43: Win Battle Sim in Battle CD 42 45: Win Battle Sim in Battle CD 44 48: Win Battle Sim in Battle CD 47.
Realgam Colosseum
When Realgam Colosseum reopens, you will receive an e-mail. No matter what round you’re in (1, 2, 3, or 4), all of the trainers’ pokemon are at level 40. No trainers in these rounds have 6 pokemon, and in the first 2 rounds every trainer has only 4 pokemon. In the last 2 rounds, four of the 8 trainers have 5 pokemon. There isn’t a single Electric or Dragon Type in any round, and with the Bug, Fighting, and Grass Types, a Flying Type pokemon will do the trick in many of the battles. A highly recommended pokemon that you should use in this Colosseum is Crobat. You can catch a Zubat at the Cave Poke Spot, and with a bit of effort, you can raise it into a Golbat. If you give Golbat the Soothe Bell, which you can get in Pyrite City, you will, soon enough, get the speed demon Crobat. Crobat is very effective not only because of the fact that there are no Electric Types and that it can take out almost any Bug, Grass, or Fighting Type with Wing Attack or Aerial Ace, But also because of the Dark Type move Bite which can defend it against Psychic Types (since Psychic Type moves are super effective against Poison Types like Crobat), and because making the first attack isn’t a problem, since Crobat’s Speed stat is tremendous.
Battle CDs In Phenac City (Continued)
Greesix (who is in front of the Mayor’s house) will drop Battle CD 28 after you defeat him. And finally, the last ‘six’ of the bunch, Resix (who is in front of the top right house in Phenac where you can rest) will drop Battle CD 19 when you defeat him. The next Battle CD that you can get is in the basement of the Gym, which you can get after you free all of the people in Phenac. That will be in the sandy part of the basement (top right). Once Phenac City is returned to normal, you can return to the Mayor’s House to find Battle CD 12 in the shelf behind his desk, and you can also find Battle CD 10 in the bookcase in the bottom right house in Phenac as well. After your Snag Machine is stolen, you can get Battle CD 15 from the Castform that is running around the fountain. The last Battle CD you can obtain in Phenac City is Battle CD 44, which will be in the Stadium, which is to the very north of Phenac, at the top of the stage.
Orre Colosseum – Round 3
Round 3: Note – Every trainer has one Pokemon holding a Lax Incense and one other one with a Quick Claw. Battle 1 – Three Pokemon know Earthquake, so keep your Flying Type & Levitating Pokemon on the roster. However, beware of Sharpedo’s Ice Beam and Golem’s Rock Blast with your flying types. Plus Sharpedo has the hold item Brightpowder, which makes it even more difficult. Target them first. You’re up against Sharpedo, Hitmonlee, Zangoose, Nidoqueen, Golem, and Victreebel. Protect & Endure are big moves for these Pokemon because of their teammate’s Earthquake move. Victreebel will try to put you to sleep with Sleep Powder and then attack you with either Sludge Bomb or Magical Leaf, and it is holding a Lax Incense, which lower’s your Pokemon’s accuracy, so have your Flying Types get rid of him after you have gotten rid of the big threats (Sharpedo & Golem). Then get rid of Nidoqueen & Hitmonlee (the last two Pokemon with Earthquake), and then Zangoose shouldn’t be a problem, since its attacks are Flail, Crush Claw, and Shadow Ball (with Endure). Battle 2 – All of these Pokemon have different Types, making it a hard time for you to figure out a way to beat them without having a disadvantage at any time. Have at least 2 or 3 Speedy Pokemon and hit hard. You’re up against Nidoking, Jynx, Fearow, Magmar, Politoed, & Armaldo. Fearow (Female) knows Attract, Steel Wing, & Drill Peck, Politoed knows Ice Beam, Swagger, Psychic, & Hydro Pump, & Magmar knows Flamethrower, Thunderpunch, Psychic & Confuse Ray. Jynx is a tough son of a gun. It is holding a Lax Incense, has the move fake out to stall you in the first turn, uses Lovely Kiss to lull you to sleep, and then uses Dream Eater to demolish your HP, plus it has the move Ice Beam. Even though Jynx may be tricky, Nidoking and Armaldo are the toughies you should be worried about. Armaldo is holding Leftovers and has the ability Battle Armor. It has many powerful moves, all of a different type: Dig, Brick Break, Body Slam, & Rock Blast. Nidoking is holding a Quick Claw and has the ability Poison Point. Its’ moves are Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball, Megahorn, & Body slam. Semifinal – Electabuzz is the only Pokemon that uses Protect, & it rarely does. This sets your Pokemon up for a 2 on 1 attack on each Pokemon he has. You’re up against Scizor, Electabuzz, Quagsire, Primeape, Walrein, & Arcanine. Use a Fire Type move on Scizor that is powerful, and have a Ground Type move KO Electabuzz & Arcanine. With Quagsire’s Earthquake & Lax Incense & Walreins’ Ice Beam, Icy Wind, Waterfall, & Sheer Cold, their going to be tough to beat because their are a lot of type disadvantages if they are together. Try to knock out one of them before the other one gets out, or you’ll be in a tough position. Final – Gorigan is back once again with his Earthquake-Protect combo. You’ll be up against a Salamence holding a Brightpowder & has the moves Dragon Claw, Flamethrower, Crunch, & Hydro Pump, a Tauros with Earthquake, Return, Hyper Beam, & a Rest + Chesto Berry Combo, a Granbull with Return, Shadow Ball, Brick Break, & Hyper Beam, an Arcanine with Extremespeed, Crunch, Overheat, & Protect, a Hitmontop with Detect, Body Slam, Earthquake, & Brick Break, & lastly a Gyrados with Double-edge, Earthquake, Icy Wind, & Thunder Wave. Don’t be afraid to switch out your Pokemon, since your opponent will predictably target your most vulnerable Pokemon with a move that it’s vulnerable to. If you see an Earthquake about to hit, for ex, you may want to switch out a bird Pokemon.
Battle CDs In Citadark Isle
There are two Battle CD’s on Citadark, and one of them you can get right away after you defeat one Cipher Peon. Near the yacht is a sailor that is impressed with your ride (the Robo Kyogre that you got onto the island with). If you tell him that you’ll let him drive sometime, he will give you Battle CD 31. The next Battle CD on Citadark will only be available after you defeat Grand Master Greevil and load your saved game. Battle CD 46 will be in the chair of the main control room, which you, earlier, fought Cipher Admin. Eldes (in the red) in.
Battle CD In Cipher Key Lair
There is only one Battle CD in the Cipher Key Lair, and you can only get it after defeating Gorigan and halting his Shadow Pokemon production. If you go left and then straight up the hall, go down the staircase that leads into the basement of the lair. You will find Battle CD 47 on the conveyor belt.
Orre Colosseum – Round 1
Below is a list of each trainer in each rounds’ strategies, what you’ll face, and what you can do to try and be at least one step ahead of your opponent. Round 1: Battle 1 – Have Pokemon with moves like Heal Bell, & strong Fire & Dark Type Attacks. Make your Pokemon hold items like Lum or Chesto Berries & focus your attacks on 1 Pokemon at a time to KO each of them quickly. You will be up against Parasect, Breloom, Slowbro, Jynx, Houndoon, & Gardevoir. Jynx, Slowbro, & Gardevoir will put you to sleep, while them & Houndoom use Dream Eater. Parasect and Breloom will try to Paralyze or Poison you. Battle 2 – Herlam uses Teeter Dance to confuse you, while his own Pokemon are immune due to Own Tempo. Ursurang, who has the ability Guts, will make this plan backfire, or you can ignore the confusion & hope to get lucky. You’ll be up against Spinda, Cacturne, Slowking, Lickitung, Smeargle, & Grumpig. Pokemon that can confuse you are Spinda, Cacturne, Grumpig, and Smeargle, and Slowking can put you to sleep. Also, these Pokemon know moves that will cause damage and inflict a status condition, for ex. Slowking, Grumpig, and Smeargle know moves that will freeze your Pokemon. Semifinal – This trainer tries to stall with Follow Me and Giga Drain. Strong Dark & Fighting Type moves will obliterate his Psychic & Normal Types. You’re up against Stantler, Togetic, Xatu, Grumpig, Raichu, and Butterfree. Most will try to paralyze you, and Grumpig, Xatu, & Raichu will try to Confuse you. Togetic is the only one that knows Follow Me, and Xatu & Butterfree are the only ones that know Giga Drain. Final – Lovrina uses Leech Seed & Wrap and try to poison & confuse your Pokemon, then use Protect while your Pokemon suffer. She also uses Attract a lot. Turn her strategy against her and use attacks that will burn or poison her Pokemon. You’re up against Wobbufet, Shuckle, Milotic, Blissey, Meganium, & Misdreavus. All of her Pokemon know Attract except for Wobbuffet, and they’re not all the same gender. Shuckle, Milotic, & Meganium know Toxic & Attract, & besides Meganium, they know Wrap. Meganium & Misdreavus know Attract & Protect, & Wobbuffet & Blissey know Counter.
Battle CD In The S.S. Libra
Battle CD 18 is the only Battle CD in the S. S . Libra (which is the ship you saw in the prologue of the game) This Battle CD is located in the room beneath the Upper Deck (which is the room that the local let you rest in).
Battle CDs In ONBS Building
There are four Battle CD’s located throughout the ONBS Building. On the first floor, in the middle bottom room, there will be a Battle CD (24) in one of the shelves after you’ve cleared Cipher Key Lair. On the second floor, in the room straight down from the elevator, there will be a Battle CD 21 in one of the shelves after you clear Cipher Key Lair. On the 3rd floor, Battle CD 36 will be available in the bottom right room in one of the shelves after the theft of your Snag Machine. In the room on the building roof, Battle CD 36 will be in the shelf behind Nett’s desk after the theft of your Snag Machine.
Battle CDs In Phenac City
Phenac City is the best place to find Battle CD’s. Overall, there are fourteen of them (1, 7, 20, 16, 15, 10, 28, 19, 8, 12, 27, 32, 35, and 44). When you first arrive in Phenac City, a local will give you a Disc Case and Battle CD’s 1, 7 and 20, and she will ask you to leave and go to Realgam Tower before you set foot any further in the city. If you’re eager to go back to Phenac right away, then just go to Realgam Tower and come back to Phenac immediately, and you will be aloud to roam around the city. The next place you can find a Battle CD’s is in the mayors house. You need to first get the Music disc from the top right house in Phenac, and you should rest up, too, because you’ll have to battle some people before you can get six more of the CD’s. After you read the note that the mayor left, the housekeeper will battle you and do anything to keep the note from getting to Justy. Once she’s defeated and you’ve left the mayor’s house, the Hexagon brothers will scatter throughout the city and all of them are disguised as Justy and they each have one Battle CD. The first two are easy to find. Go back into the mayor’s house and defeat Yellosix, who has Battle CD 27, and then right after him you can battle Browsix who is in the same place and will have Battle CD 32. Blusix (at Phenac’s entrance) will drop Battle CD 16 after you defeat him. Purpsix (at the entrance to the gym) will drop Battle CD 8 after you defeat him.
Battle CD In Agate Village
Battle CD 14 is going to be in the house with the Wobbuffet in it. After your Snag Machine is stolen, talk to the Wobbuffet and it will give you a Battle CD it found.

Combo Moves
Some of the moves that pokemon have can be used in more than one way, and can have multiple effects to it. There are many combos that can be used in this game, including: Overheat & White Herb- With the pokemon holding a White Herb, the effect of Overheat dramatically lowering the users Special Attack will not be a problem anymore. Endure + Salac Berry + Reversal- Reversal inflicts damage based on how low the users HP is. When you’re pokemon are almost KO’d, use endure in the next turn so that it survives with 1 HP left. If it’s holding a Salac Berry, its speed will greatly increase. Then a Speedy, max powered Reversal is ready for your pokemon to use Belly Drum, then rest & Chesto Berry- This is a widely known Snorlax combo. Use Belly Drum to maximize your Attack at the cost of half of your HP. Then use Rest to restore your HP, and that will put it to sleep. If it’s holding the Chesto Berry, it will immediately wake up. Now its ready to attack with full HP and a maximum Attack. Sunny Day & Solarbeam- This combo is better when there are 2 pokemon, one with high Speed that knows Sunny Day, and one with a lower Speed that knows Solarbeam. When the fast pokemon uses Sunny Day, the next pokemon is ready to use Solarbeam in one turn with a higher Sp. Attack. Follow Me & Focus Punch- Focus Punch is a very powerful attack, but it takes 2 turns to actually hit its target, and in that process, the pokemon using Focus Punch will flinch if hit by another pokemon. If your other pokemon uses Follow Me while Focus Punch is getting charged, then the other team’s pokemon will be forced to attack the pokemon that used Follow Me. Guts ability & a status condition- If a pokemon has the Guts ability, have your other pokemon hit the gutsy pokemon with a status condition, which powers that pokemon up. Also, if the afflicted pokemon has the move Facade, then the power of that move will be doubled. Belly Drum & Psyche Up- Belly Drum maximizes the users Attack power at the cost of half of its HP. The Psyche Up move lets the second pokemon to steal the benefit without losing its HP.
Grand Master Greevil
Grand Master Greevil is the main boss of all the Cipher Admins. & Peons you’ve fought in the past. However, you have already met Greevil before without even knowing it was him. His fraud-name is actually Mr. Verich. When you face Greevil in the end, he will have all Shadow pokemon, consisting of the three legendary birds (Articuno, Zapdos, & Moltres) at level 50, an Exeggutor and Rhydon at level 46, and a Tauros at level 48. Recommended move types are Shadow, Electric, and any that can cause a status condition.
Battle CDs In Dr. Kaminko’s House
Along with the 4 Battle CD’s you can find in the basement, there are also 2 more on the main floor on Kaminko’s House. The two Battle CD’s on the main floor (49 and 50) can only be obtained after you have cleared Cipher Key Lair. One will be in a shelf in the left room, the other will be in a shelf in the right room. The 4 other Battle CD’s (5, 11, 23, and 29) are scattered around the basement, one of them on the basement floor. You can find Battle CD’s 11 ans 23 after Makan upgrades your scooter. Battle CD 11’s path will be: yellow to yellow, green to green, and pink to pink. Battle CD 23 is on the basement floor. Battle CD 5 can be obtained any time after you defeat Robo Groudon. It’s path is: yellow to yellow and blue to blue. The last is Battle CD 29. You can obtain it after the events in Cipher Key Lair. The path is: yellow to yellow and then on the next set of yellows.
Battle CD In Cipher Lab
Battle CD 42 is in the room where you first found Professor Krane on the other side of the wall. You can get this Battle CD after you have cleared Cipher Key Lair.
Battle CDs In Pyrite Town
Aside from the 4 Battle CD’s that are in the ONBS building, there are two more in Pyrite Town. In the building next to the Pokemart, there is a Battle CD 40 inside one of the shelves that you can get after the theft of your snag machine. The other Battle CD (22) outside of the ONBS building is located in Duking’s home. You can get this Battle CD after you’ve cleared Cipher Key Lair. It will be located in the middle bookcase.
Battle CD In Pokemon HQ Lab
After all of the events in Phenac City are resolved, you can go into the left entrance of the HQ Lab and then into the top right room to get the Battle CD 33 in one of the shelves.
