got another batch of variants, this time with tangela! themed these guys around styles of shoe! which one is your favorite?

like with my dunsparce post, im gonna ramble under the cut about each one :^)

standard tangela, best known as sneakers tangela. this is tangela as most people know it. however, most don't know that it's signature red feet are actually shoes! they protect tangela's delicate feet from damage. trainers that know this will often buy new shoes for their pokemon, much to tangela's delight.

high heels (+roselia): grass/poison. this variant is highly popular with the most fashionable people and trainers. it has a haughty attitude but an incredible fashion sense, and can be seen in both contests and next to models on the runway, sporting a pair of shoes that matches the model. trainers are advised to be careful with its brambles, as they can cause acute poisoning.

rollerskates (+jumpluff): grass/fairy. these tangela variants are carefree and energetic, and love rollerskating alongside their trainers. they are capable of performing tricks on their skates due to their lightweight bodies.

high tops (+carnivine): grass. these tangela, along with the boots variant, are popular with people and trainers that want a cool looking pokemon. high tops tangela are up for anything, and are also capable of digesting things they wouldn't normally be able to.

boots (+cacturne). grass/dark. boots tangela are brooding and moody, but many teenage trainers and punk trainers alike adore their attitude and style. they may seem aloof, but they care a lot about their appearance.

ballet shoes (+hisuian lilligant): grass. elegant and poised, these tangela are popular with dancers. they have often starred as backup dancers in ballet performances of both humans and pokemon. wild ones will follow hisuian lilligant, as if it were their leader.

sandals (+comfey): grass/fairy. a laid back and companionable tangela popular with most everyone. the petals that fall from its body can be brewed in tea for a healing effect. additionally, the aroma that comes from the blooms is said to cheer up anyone.

Pokemon Crossbreeds: Rose Bouquet

Rose Bouquet, also just called Boquet, is the name for members of the Sprigatitio line with Roselia/Roserade fathers. They were named after their flowers now resembling roses. The breed has been around in Paldea since medieval times. They were most often held by noble families as a sign of wealth, as Roserade and Roselia are not native to Paldea, ao the crossbreeds were very expensive.

Sprigatito

Boquet Spriagatio gain the patterns of Budew. Instead of a grass scent, they produce a rose scent, which has been loved by many people for years. However, their feet produces a small amount of pollen, with males producing more than females, which is something to be aware of if you have allergies. They are also more sensitive to temperature changes, ao expect them to be sluggish in cold weather.

Floragato

My favorite member of this line! Boquet Floragato gain the roses of Roselia, but they also gain roselia's eyelashes, Roselia's crown pattern on their face, the yellow mark on their chest fur, and their yoyo becomes rose shaped. Their roses produce a strong scent and, lucky for us, they don't produce any poison. HOWEVER, they still produce thorns, so it's not safe to walk up and poke them. Boquet Floragato use these thorns to their advantage when attacking, using their showmanship and roses to lure in their opponents and attack.

Meowscarada

Rose Boquet Meowscarada gain a color scheme that more closely matched of Roserade. They gain a cloak over their shoulders as well as Roserade's collar, and the flower in their neck becomes red. Their bomb also now resembles a boquet of roses.

Like Roserade, Boquet Meowscarada use their sweet rose scent to attract prey before attacking them. They also move in a way similar to Roserade, moving like a dancer and jabbing with their arms.

PokéTWST Part 4

How do we like the new style guys!?

I'm really happy how this came out! I know it's not like the TWST style I've been emulating since practically the start of this blog, but I didn't feel like I was really growing as an artist. It felt weird to experiment with that style, and I've been wanting to trying something different with inspiration from other artists.

This is my first soiree into the fray and this is closer to what I want to do with my art. I want you guys to look at a piece of mine and think "oh that's artsy's work" from a glance because the style is recognizable and my own, ya know?

Anyways here we have Riddle with Shaymin, Roselia, and Polteageist! I like to imagine they are model Pokémon, but behind his back they're little rascals, and whenever Ace, Cater, or Trey try to tell Riddle his Pokémon are causing trouble in the rose garden or the kitchen, Riddle checks in on them only to find his Pokémon COMPLETELY well behaved and having a tea party.

He really wishes that his dorm students would stop fabricating such white lies about his Pokémon. They're the picture of perfection! when he's looking
