Even though we never see what they look like, there does seem to be some manner of consensus in how the Red vs. Blue mains look.

Donut LOVES to spoil Wash whenever he can in whatever way Wash will let him. Wash finds him company enjoyable when his PTSD is bothering him.

Donut always invites Wash to his daily wine and cheese hour, and he makes sure he has Wash’s favorites at all times.

The two of them also enjoy spa days or going for walks, just the two of them.

Wash knows Donut is a little gullible, and he hates when people try to trick him. 

Wash will be there to stop Donut for falling for anything. He will also be there to protect Donut in battle. He hates seeing Donut get hurt when he could protect him.

If there’s anything that Donut knows best, it’s self care, and he uses this knowledge to make sure Wash takes care of himself as well. Wash often forgets to take care of himself, it just slipping his mind.

Donut will massage any sore muscles that Wash has. He makes sure Wash is always well rest and remembers to eat.

Wash enjoys letting Donut wash his hair when they shower or takes baths together. He loves the feelings of Donut’s finger massaging his scalp, and he has fallen asleep because of it before.

Wash knows he relies on Donut much when it comes to basic needs. He really appreciates what Wash does for him, and he does everything he can to make his feelings known.

Donut is a little insecure even it comes to the large scar on the side of his face. He does his best not to let this shows, but Wash can tell. He wil always reassure Donut that he’s attacted with the scar when he notices that he’s feeling down about it.

people often write donut as good innocent pure but he is not even slightly this. i think at a base level donut genuinely does not want to hurt people but he is so impulsive and inconsiderate and after immediate satisfaction that he doesn’t really think about this fact when he does the things that he does. he doesn’t want to be a bad person it’s just that doing bad often gives immediate reward in a way that being good takes much longer to do.

his morality is 100% taken from the people around him. i think this is partially because he is more concerned with how others perceive him than his own internal compass and partially because he is naive and puts his trust into others wholeheartedly. when he is with the reds in blood gulch he has so much fun with war and murder bc sarge is like “violence is good!” hanging with doc turned him softer because on a surface level doc is an uwu softboy and donut is not very good at not taking things at face value. in shizno he uses chrovos’ morality and then the opposite of chrovos’ morality and also wash’s. or at least what he perceives wash’s to be

removing this aspect of his character makes him so much more boring and flat i think. it turns him into uwu soft gay instead of an incredibly flawed but ultimately good individual, the way that all the reds and blues are. let gay people do some crimes.

Freelander Donut AU

(I have mention this au on my main @plagues01. So if this sounds familiar, you saw this over there. I've edited this some, and I wish to add more to this au in the future)

Donut wasn’t always the silly guy who uses a lot of sexual innuendos. When he was younger, he used to be very serious, and he hardly ever cracked a joke.

They used to be known as Agent Missouri when they were once part of Project Freelancer. He always remained around the Top 15, and many times he was in the Top 10.

During his free time, Missouri would hang around Florida and Wyoming, but he was also friendly with Wash and his main group of friends.

When the fragments were starting to be given out, it was a surprise when Missouri was called back and offered an AI. As it was the Director himself who was offering an AI, Missouri couldn’t say no. Missouri was given the fragment named Zeta, Alpha’s desire.

Life went back to normal for a while. Missions went on, and Missouri and Zeta grew closer as soldier and AI. Missouri seemed to be an even better soldier with AI.

As they grew closer, the Director saw changes he wanted to see. He wanted to see what would happen giving the AI of desire to someone who always denies his desires and would give everything for work, for the mission.

As time went on, more jokes started to slip. More sexual comments were made in a playful manner. Over all, Missouri became more and more relaxed, more and more open to others.

Finally the attack happened, and the Mother of Invention crashed. Agent Missouri made a decision that day during the chaos, and they left Project Freelancer without a trace.

At first, Missouri and Zeta didn’t know what to do. They tried to live a normal life, but nothing left right. A year later, Missouri decided that he could try to forge some documents, and no one would notice with the war going on.

Agent Missouri was no more, and a new soldier, a new sim troop, joined Blood Gutch, wearing his old freelancer suit. The maroon and orange asked for his name. He smiled under his helmet and introduced themself.

His name was Franklin Delano Donut
