in my opinion, yes. xavier and percy are completely different people, and the only similarity is that they have the same face. i'm a firm believer in separating the art from the artist, except in certain cases (e.g., kanye west and his music). at the end of the day, xavier is a fictional character, and you have every right to like or not like him. some people find it harder to separate the character from the actor, which is fine! but if you're able to love xavier while keeping in mind that percy is an ass, you've done nothing wrong.
