Kent Fisher x reader

Everyone was going swimming in the lake at the weekend, it's all your friends could talk about. But you weren't as excited. Lately you've been feeling really insecure. Am I as skinny as the other girls? Do I need to work out more? Do I deserve Kent? Those were the questions you asked yourself everyday.

You were sat eating lunch quietly as Enid talked about the new pink swim suit she got.

"Y/N, you okay?" Divina asked, making everyone at the table go silent.

"I'm fine, why?"

"Your just unusually quiet."

You didn't want to lie to your friends, but you also didn't want to talk about how you don't feel like your good or pretty enough to be dating Kent.

"I'm fine, really." No one believed you, but they didn't want to make you uncomfortable by asking more questions.

As everyone went back to their conversations, Kent just watched you quietly picked at your food. His heart broke knowing that you felt like shit and didn't talk to him about it. But he decided to wait for you to be comfortable to tell him how you were feeling.

...

It was Friday, so all of your friends were excited to be going down to the lake tonight. You were sat in class with Divina, Bianca and Yoko.

"I'm probably just gonna were my blue bikini top." Bianca said. You weren't really paying attention as you doodled in your note book.

"Y/N!" You jumped when you heard your name. "What are you gonna wear tonight?" Yoko asked.

"Oh, I'm not going." You said as you went back to your doodling.

"Hold on!" Bianca said as she snatched your notebook away, "What do you mean you're not coming?"

"I'm just not feeling it, y'know" The truth was, you didn't want to wear a swim suit in front of everyone.

"You're coming girl! You've got to!" Bianca said.

"I don't think I even have a swim suit." That was a lie.

"You do." Divina jumped in. "Remember when we went swimming on that week off last term."

"I'll think about it." You said to get them to back off.

...

You were sat in your dorm when you heard a knock. You expected it to be Divina and Bianca wanting to drag you down to the lake.

"GUYS, I REALLY DON'T WANNA GO DOWN TO THE LAKE!" You shouted through the door.

"BABY!" Your heart stopped. You'd been avoiding Kent, feeling like your not pretty enough for him.

You stood up and opened the door. "Babe, what're you doing here?" Kent walked into your dorm and closed the door with his back.

"I wanted to check on you. Divina said you didn't want to come tonight. Are you okay?" He wrapped his hands around your waist, making you feel self-conscious, flinching slightly from the action. You hoped Kent didn't notice, but he did. His hands dropped from your waist. "What's going on, Y/N? Talk to me, please."

"I don't want wear a swim suit in front of everyone." You couldn't look at him. You were too embarrassed and scared of what he was going to say.

"Why? You're beautiful, Y/N." His hands rested on your waist again, this time you didn't flinch away.

"I'm not. I'm ugly and fat."

"You're the most beautiful girl I have even seen, don't forget that. And you are definitely not fat."

"Really?" You stare into his eyes, questioning if he means what he is saying.

"Really." Kent pulled you into a loving kiss, full of sincerity. It was sweet and delicate and his lips were soft against your own. "Now get changed. Everyone's waiting." His forehead rested against yours.

"Okay, fine. I just need to find my swim suit."

I think this sinks my Yoko is the stalker theory.

This to me implies that Naomi J. Ogawa will not be in season 2. Wednesday/Yoko’s character is not showing up as upcoming on her page. Neither does Johnna Dias-Watson (Davina) or Oliver Watson (Kent) for their characters. I feel like at this point, they should know, and it should be confirmed data for IMDB.

I could be wrong because it was reported that there were like four new additions, and none of those are showing up on IMDB either. But they could be on IMDB Pro, or maybe because of the strike and the writing isn’t done, the finalized contracts aren’t done for secondary characters yet? So, only the top billed actors with guaranteed spots (Jenna, Percy, Georgie, Emma, Hunter, Joy, Christina, and Victor Dorobantu (Thing)) can say at this point that they are in Season 2.

I could see that until the writing is finalized, they don’t know how many episodes/scenes they’ll be in. It could very well be that their characters are written out if the writers want to focus on the new characters. Given how small their parts were, it’s easy to say they graduated and explain why they’re not there. Can anyone say for sure what grade Yoko, Kent, and Divina are in? For all we know, they’re seniors.

Whereas the top billed characters will for sure be in every episode, hence why their information is confirmed so early.

Someone who is more knowledgeable and/or has IMDB Pro, please weigh in.

Chocolates and flowers 🍫🌹

Kent x reader! Fluff 🧸

Summary: you get back from fencing and find some chocolates and flowers on your bed.

You walk through the door, breathing in the scent of the candle your roommate Enid lit. You were working all day. You were at class and then archery practice right after. You didn’t have a chance to go back to your dorm. You set down your bag. You notice something off. Enid wasn’t there to greet you like she usually was.

“Enid?” You yell out.

No response.

Today was the day before Valentine’s Day so she was probably somewhere with Ajax

You go into the bathroom and get into the shower.

When your done you walk out, in Cookie Monster pj pants and a black tank top. You walk up to your bed to see something laying on it. It was chocolate and flowers.

You put the towel that you were drying your hair with down. Beside the chocolate and flowers was a note. You pick it up and read it.

Dear y/n, will you be my valentine? - kent

You smile at the note, how pretty his handwriting was. You jump as you hear a knock on the door. You put the note back down on the bed and walk over to the door.

You open it to see Kent. He smiles as soon as he sees you.

“Hey, y/n” he says.

You were absolutely speechless.

“Did you get my note?” He asks.

“Yeah, I’m guessing you gave it to enid to put on my bed?” You say smiling.

“Bingo.” He says.

A couple seconds of silence pass by. Every second some tension builds up. He leans down, hesitating to kiss you, not knowing if you will like it. You basically break your neck to look up at him.

The suspense is killing you so you grab him by his shirt and pull him into a kiss. He doesn’t kiss back for a while, shocked.

His hands move down to your shoulders, then to your waist. You take your hands off of his shirt and to his neck. You stand up straight so he doesn’t have to crouch down as much.

His hands move from your waist to your ass. He grips it lightly. You could feel him smile against the kiss. You two pull away to catch your breath.

“So..will you be my valentine?” He says smiling. You scoff.

“Yes. Yes, I will be your valentine, kent”

✨Intertidal—Chapter 27: P.S. I Love You (Kent)✨

Standing there feeling as if I had left my body and was watching this all play out in real-time, I was twenty-three again. Broken though technically recovered and unsure of myself. How awkward I felt in clothes I'd never been comfortable in. My hair cropped because it was what Connie wanted. Short hair, tattoo's gone, earrings removed and the holes healed up, and voice training apps loaded onto my phone to help me work on my "caricature" accent. That was when the cracks first started showing. The silent screaming that became a dull hum in the back of my mind. I had never felt more alone then. More afraid of growing old and if I was taking the right steps forward.

I hadn't known Winnie at that age. Had only just made friends with Ty a year or so before right before my twenty-first. Maybe that's why the ghost of me from all those years ago when we first started losing our way was sharing space with the person I was now. Closure maybe. Assurance that we were in good hands before letting go for good. We'd been through the trenches, this phantom of mine and I. We'd been through the pits and he had every right to be untrusting. But there wasn't anything to be fearful of now. Not with Winnie there wasn't.

And that version of me recognized that.

"We're good now champ," I told my ghost in silence. "You can let go of the reigns now. It's safe now. We're not alone anymore."

Speeding up gently through the mental layers of separation between me and everyone else when Divvy called for us to start heading out before we missed the lunch reservation she'd made, I caught my breath in a muted gasp when Winnie linked arms with me. Looked at her as she looked at me. There was no use in hiding how out of place I had been feeling. My clever darling, there was no pulling the wool over her eyes. So instead I whispered "I'll be okay" to her between the soft kisses she planted on my grateful lips.

"Love you Benji," she said quietly as if in secret.

"Love ya' Scout."
