it’s seriously a missed opportunity to have sukuna be the first ten shadows user to actually tame mahoraga. it feels like all the time we’ve been cheering for megumi and seeing his growth becomes wasted because it’s through sukuna of all people who shows us the peak of the ten shadows technique. it feels unearned! yeah there’s a possibility that megumi is going to wake up better and stronger having learned his potential but man .. it probably won’t be comparable to seeing him and only him unlocking the other shadows, defeating mahoraga, and using TS to its full potential. nothing like the feeling of seeing him first cast his domain and see it become more refined or seeing him call onto a new shikigami. it’s like gege decided megumi’s not being cool enough fast enough so he gave it to sukuna to use against gojo since hey he should probably use that set-up because it’s now or never right … it’s such a waste.
