Man, I really REALLY, don't know how to feel about Machu Pichu being on Toonami. Yeah Ballmastrz was an out there choice but that at least still had plenty of moments that proved the show did lovingly tribute anime while Machu Pichu is a straight up "normal" shitpost-esque Adult Swim show that satries anime. It's the Perfect Hair Forever of this decade. Don't get me wrong I loved it, but I wouldn't call it Toonami Material. If anything you think they'd put Primal on the lineup.
I’m still trying to piece together how they figured Machu Picchu was about that Toonami life. Not to mention I’m still kinda feeling some type a way about how they never finished Ballmastrz’s run with just 2 episodes left. But yeah; the major difference between them really is that Ballmastrz is a homage to anime while Machu Picchu is more or less the “look how dumb anime is” type show. While entertaining them Toonami dots still ain’t exactly connecting.
Primal, however, has the honor of getting to join Gungrave as another show not on Toonami that you would have expected to just be on Toonami already. Probably once they have one full season under their belt maybe we might see them on there if dubbing times still are tough. Also, they still wanna play games with Attack On Titan: Junior High but I ain’t the one for that shit.
Meanwhile, Mob Psycho II and Food Wars are on layaway somewhere.
