Most of the crowd politely looks away at this point. Nick bursts out laughing.

This is very similar to xarry as far as the media and fans but Harry pushed that “ship” too-I will never forget how he posted that birthday cake and pics from museum on X birthday,and their pap pics were staged, these one so far are pretty tame.but nothing compares to gryles IMO

Well, I think that’s because Nick was an out gay man (whereas Xander and Brad, as far as we know, are both straight). Plus, he was semi-famous so there was shady more outside interest, and he really fed into the idea. It was great for his image and brand. And H definitely went along with it. Plus, we know that 1DHQ fed rumors into certain circles (while simultaneously feeding opposing rumors as well).
