Caregiver!Oikawa Headcanons!

A/N: Absolutely nobody asked for this but I’m getting back into anime and I LOVE Oikawa, soooo…. :3 (also ignore the banner he looks a little oddly shaped but it’s the only one I could find..)

I would like to start off by saying that he is literally MY caregiver…

He probably already knew about age regression before you told him. Not that he knows anybody who does it (although he does know a few caregivers haha wink wink…more HCs coming soon—), he just happened to stumble across it on the internet and got curious.

He still looked into it a bit more after you told him! Just to make sure he had everything right.

He would be such a good caregiver PLEASE 😭😭😭

SPOILS YOU SO MUCH OMG!!!

You want a new pacifier?? Okay! You want more stuffies? Well, why didn’t you say something sooner?! Of course he’ll buy you more stuffies!! You don’t have to be shy!

Does well with littles of any age but he actually really likes baby regressors. NOT in a weird way, he just appreciates the dependency. And he thinks it’s the most adorable thing ever.

He loves physical affection. He’s clingier than you sometimes. He’ll randomly pick you up and set you on his lap or he’ll always just be holding your hand.

Iwaizumi babysits whenever Oikawa can’t take care of you. Iwaizumi has a lot more rules, though, so you don’t really like it all that much. :(

He finds it so cute when you watch him practice and you cheer him on! It’s just practice, but you’re still so supportive.

And of course he finds it even cuter when you cheer him on during ACTUAL games.

If you use pacifiers, he gives you paci kisses.

He is SOOOOO over dramatic whenever you give him literally anything. You could give him a picture you colored really messily and he’d be like “GASP!!! OMG!! FOR ME????” and then hang it up on the fridge immediately.

If you’re acting out, he sometimes has to get Iwaizumi to help him…he’s so bad at being strict. He feels terrible but he knows SOMEONE has to get you to follow the rules.

He plays volleyball, so he’s strong. He really likes to just pick you up. All the time. Like I said, he’s clingy. He’ll just pick you up and hold you like a baby while he’s talking to his friends. He won’t say anything, he’ll just grab you. :)

He’s more than happy to entertain you. If you wanna play dress up or put on a little fashion show for him, he’ll sit there and happily watch you show off your little outfits. He’ll be so enthusiastic about it too.

Caregiver 🐦‍⬛

•When he finds out you regress, he immediately offered to be your caregiver! He tells you that he regresses too, and that they could have play dates, and talk about regression together!

•He loves age regression, but never had anyone to talk about it with. He will ramble to you about being your caregiver, about the meals he'd make you, the things he'd buy you, ect.

•Once he becomes your caregiver, he's super loving and affectionate. He'll bring you with to volleyball practice sometimes.

•Everybody on the Karasuno team loves you! If he ever needs someone to take care of you, he would trust Suga, Yamaguchi and Kageyama the most.

•He would call you "Sunshine", "Little One", "Sweetheart", and just overall soft and cute nicknames.

•He will spoil you! Though he doesn't have the most money, whenever he can, he'll buy you age regression gear, stuffed animals, snacks, whatever he can!

•He's always holding your hand, staying by your side.

•He's protective of you, and worries a lot when he's not around you. He'll text you frantically to see how you're doing. He'll ask if you've eaten, if you're doing okay, if you miss him, what you've been up to.

•He is a big cuddler. He's super affectionate and clingy towards you because he just loves you so much. (Platonic or romantically.)

Little 🍊

•Super hyper and energetic.

•He loves McDonald's kids meals, I just know that he does.

•His main caregivers are Suga and Kageyama. (Or you)They're both super protective of him, and act like parents.

•He has playdates with Noya all the time when he's little. They go outside looking for bugs, they go to the playground together, they play games together, and love going on adventures together with their caregivers! (I headcanon Noya as a regressor, and Asahi and Tanaka as his caregivers.)

•He's super clingy, and needs to be by someone when regressed. He gets scared to regress on his own, or involuntarily.

•Sometimes before a big match against another team, he'll get really stressed out and sometimes even fully regress. He tries to hold back, but it's not easy for him. Suga then scoops him into his arms and helps him calm down.

•His little age is probably between 2-4, maybe a bit older?

•He also loves playing pretend, and finger painting!

Regressor Tsukishima Headcanons

He gives off big brother energy, reluctantly he will hang out with other regressors but would rather be on his own!

When alone he tends to play on a 3DS or with figurines he’s collected through the years

Tsukishima definitely reads books while regressed and at dinner or lunch time will recap them to his caregiver <3

“‘Guess what! I finished the book today!”

He has chewlery cause he insists he’s too old for pacifiers and tethers but he still likes to chew on stuff

Before Tsukishima got the chewlery the poor victim of his chewing was his pen caps and pencils he drew with!

He’d be brainstorming the newest addition to his caregivers drawing collection and be chewing on his drawing tools.

Tsukishima has a collection of squishmallows and he will choose a new one every night that he snuggles with

🐱 still loves video games (of course)- he likes to play more cozy games when small, like minecraft, stardew valley or animal crossing

🐱 either regresses young (around 2-4), or older (8-12)

🐱 kid-friendly twitch streams or youtube gaming vids are a great way to calm kenma down when they're upset

Oikawa had been more than a little surprised to see Suga stick his head in his bedroom door.

“Ushijima’s little, he’s throwing a fit about something. I wish I could help but I’m going to have a meltdown if I don’t go somewhere quiet right now.”

Oikawa blinked at him for a second before nodding.

“Go take care of yourself, I’ll check in after I settle Ushiwaka.” He hummed, the grey haired teen giving a sigh of relief as he turned and exited.

The scene Oikawa walked in on was not a pretty one.

“I want my mum! I want my muma!” The little sobbed, rocking back and forwards in his cross legged position. He was throwing his toys across the room, Moo and Highland landing somewhere need the door.

“Hey Toshi bub. Why are we all upset today?”

“I want my mum!” He repeated, hands in balled fists as he cried. “I want my muhum!”

Oikawas mouth formed a thin line. None of his littles ever really cried for their parents when they where upset. He didn’t really know how to fix this.

“Do you want a hug? Or do you not want to be touched right now?” Well first He should at least establish some boundaries. He was very relieved when Ushijima’s hands shot out in front in him, making grabby hands at his caregiver.

Cuddly littles where his favourite.

“Ok sweetheart.” He hummed softly sitting down on the side of the bed and pulling the little into his lap. “Do you wanna talk about why we are feeling upset?”

“I- I want my muma. I wish she wanted me. But she doesn’t even like me.” The sobbing returned ten fold, Oikawa gently squeezing him as he cried.

“Well I think she’s very silly because you are the bestest boy in the world! You’re strong and brave and smart.”

“She didn’t want me cause I’m not a real boy!” The little sobbed, fingers gripping into Oikawa’s shirt.

It made his heart hurt to see Ushijima this upset. He silently cursed the younger boy’s mother.

“You are a real boy Wakatoshi.” He mumbled into his littles hair, his voice a little deeper and more serious. “I know you are cause I’m holding you right now and I can feel you in my arms. That’s what makes you a real boy. Because you are real.”

Ushijima hiccuped, fingers scrabbling with Oikawas jacket for a tighter grip. The older smoother his hands across his littles back, trying to ground him.

“Shhh baby boy. That’s it. That’s my brave brave boy.” He hushed, Ushijima’s cries dissolving into little hiccups and whimpers.

His voice also quickly disappearing, he curled into his caregiver closer, whispering.

“Muma loves me?”

Oikawa had to pause for a second, brain rebooting. Was Ushijima referring to him?

“Yeah baby. Muma loves you very much.”

Sakusa sobs whenever his food touches so after much trial and error Komori caved and bought a bunch of those separator plates and keeps them all stacked neatly next to his plates so Sakusa feels special and like he has his own space in his apartment kitchen :)

After graduating high school, Komori immediately signed a contract and joined a professional volleyball team. He was scouted by many, and those teams made similar offers to Kiyoomi. Whether those teams saw their individual talent or assumed they were a package deal, Kiyoomi would never know, but regardless, he turned them all down. He had a few years to decide where he wanted to play, seeing as he had wanted to go to university first. 

Three years into his time at university, Kiyoomi had a solid routine. It changed slightly every semester when he took up new classes, but everything else remained the same. Practice almost every week night, practice Saturday mornings, runs every morning, classes every day at their assigned times, and dinner with Komori every single Saturday. 

They’d do dinner other nights, too, and hang out together between their scheduled dinners, but they got together every Saturday night without fail. It was a miracle that Komori signed to a team close to Kiyoomi’s college, which made commuting to and from easy. 

They’d get together every Saturday night, and they did this every Saturday night, too. Kiyoomi regressed, and Komori kept him company; Komori was familiar with Kiyoomi’s regression and had been there to guide him through it since high school. Here, Kiyoomi had a relaxing and safe environment to regress in, and his annoying roommates weren’t there to bother him.

It was one of those nights, and Komori was standing at the stove in his small one bedroom apartment making dinner for the two of them. He was cooking up something simple, a dish made of spam, rice, and egg. Kiyoomi was already pleasantly fuzzy, the haze of his regression settling over him and the noise from the kitchen blending into the background. Komori glanced over at him every so often to check in, but Kiyoomi was content keeping himself busy on the couch with the games on his Switch. 

“Dinner time, Kiyo. Come pick out a plate,” Komori called into the living area, already pulling out the stack of divided plates he kept for Kiyoomi. 

Kiyoomi set his game down and entered the kitchen, bouncing on the balls of his feet eagerly. 

“Want Korilakkuma,” he said, standing behind Komori and looking over his shoulder. “Please,” he added, watching as Komori sorted through the plates to find the one Kiyoomi had requested.

“Pink Korilakkuma, or yellow Korilakkuma?” 

“Pink.” Kiyoomi took the plate when it was handed to him and held it close to his chest, nose scrunching up in excitement. 

Each plate had three sections, and they were divided by small walls on the plate. Each section depicted the character in a different scene. Looking at them made Kiyoomi happy, but knowing he could eat his food safely made him happy, too. 

Kiyoomi had a lot of sensory needs, and his food being separated was one of those. The foods he would eat were limited, and those foods dwindled once they were combined with others. The textures and flavours mixing were a surefire way to cause a meltdown, and after one too many meals ruined by his food touching, Komori found the perfect solution. He kept the majority of them here in his apartment, with the plates having a special spot in the cupboard next to his other plates, but Kiyoomi had a few plain ones in his dorm.

Sure, the plates were a bit embarrassing for Kiyoomi when he wasn’t regressed, but Rilakkuma was one of his special interests. That was enough to get him to use the plates when big, too. 

“Alright, come here, let me get you some food.”

Kiyoomi stood patiently and held his plate as he was served, taking his now full plate and going to sit at the small table. He tapped his palms against his shoulders a few times to get rid of excess energy before digging in.

Komori joined him at the table soon after and began to eat, too. Kiyoomi was kicking his legs, and his feet hit Komori’s shins occasionally, but all it did was make the two of them giggle. It was a great start to the night, and Kiyoomi was excited for the sleepover they would inevitably have.

Age regressor Yū Nishinoya headcanons!

•He's super, super hyper. Like, If you think he's hyper when he's big, when he's regressed he gets 2x the energy.

•He's a little gremlin. He's always moving around, doing something.

•Asahi and Suga are his main caregivers! Tanaka is like a big brother to him, or a babysitter. Asahi is a very calm and gentle caregiver, Suga is a bit more strict than Asahi, and Tanaka is pretty hyper as well.

•He was really insecure about his regression at first, but then he realized everyone on the team still loved him the same.

•He likes to wear Asahi's t-shirts sometimes, since he's so small. He definitely loves oversized clothes.

•Shoyo is also an age regressor, so they have playdates all the time. They keep up with each other's hyperness perfectly, and tire each other out so their caregivers don't have to try as hard to get them to sleep.

•He loves building things with blocks when he's regressed.

•I headcanon that he has ADHD, and often hyperfixates on some things he likes. His favorite hyperfixation is bugs. He just thinks they're cool, and loves learning about them.

•Suga wants him to still learn things when he's regressed, and not just play all the time. He'll take him to animal related museums to learn about all of his favorite animals! (There was even a section about bugs, and Noya absolutely freaked out when he saw it. 💕)

•He's a very hungry little munchkin! Since he's always running around and burning energy, he gets hungry quite often.

•Suga has a baby bag for him that he carries around everywhere he goes when he's taking care of Noya. It's full of bandages and things to take care of wounds (since Noya is constantly getting hurt for not being careful), snacks, toys, teethers (Noya loves to chew on things when he's regressed), and whatever else he may need!

•He loves eating ice cream and popsicles when regressed, but also PB&J's, anta on a log, oatmeal with blueberries, and overall pretty healthy snacks. Asahi makes his lunchbox. He cuts up fruit and vegetables into shapes and little animals sometimes to make eating healthy a bit more fun. Noya can be kind of a picky eater, and only want ice cream and popsicles.

•He always had cute little bandaids with ladybugs on them on his fingers or legs. He's always too busy playing to be careful, and next thing you know, he's scraped his knee.

•He loves friendship bracelets! One time, Asahi made him one, and Noya was super intrigued by it and wanted to learn how to make one. Once he learned, he constantly makes friendship bracelets for everyone on the team. Multiple even!

•I think he would watch Max & Ruby. 100% (If you know what that is, you're amazing, ily. 😭)

•His little age is most likely between 3-7.
