I'll admit, the 2024 Snow Miku looks much cuter, now that it's a painted prototype. Not that the concept art was bad, but that design didn't particularly spark my interests. But now that she's painted, her colors look so gentle, and her bangs are doing this cute swoopy thing on her face that looks so much softer in 3D…!

Still don't think I'll buy though. I've been trying to watch my budget lately. And this Miku, though cute, like all the other Snow Mikus, hasn't really got anything that hits my specific moe preferences.

I don't know what would, actually. I've been trying to think of what would get me to buy another Snow Miku Nndoroid, since I've been passing them up since 2015.

What would it be? I like:

wafuku.

flower motifs.

cool colors (vs warm colors).

wings.

translucent resin.

color gradients.

pastel colors.

big hats.

I like witches, which is why I got the 2014 Snow Miku. But they already did that once, so they're not going to do a witch Snow Miku again. What could it take for me to spend money on another Snow Miku???

Actually, rather than a Snow Miku, if Good Smile ever started making yearly Halloween Mikus, just like they make yearly Snow Mikus, I'd be screwed. lol Halloween is my favorite holiday. I'd feel obligated to get each one. Though, actually, there are more Halloween themed Miku Nendoroids; they're just Nendoroid Co-de….and I guess I hesitated to buy her because I love articulation and Co-de have almost no articulation. x_x; I have been tempted to get it, since it's candy themed and I love desserts, as both food and art motifs. Ooh! Add that to the list!
