So Niall is only charting in the UK.
The Show Kworb Live iTunes Album UK: #171 2023-07-14
Kworb Live AppleMusic Album UK: #90 2023-07-14
And Heaven Kworb Live iTunes UK: #169 2023-07-14
When do you think another single might come out? Do you think the album has any chance of getting back on the charts like up to top 40 when his tour finally begins? He must be furious.
I figured it'd flop, but this is worse that I expected.
These numbers are terrible! I don't think there will be another single after Meltdown did so badly.

Tim, buddy, what do you mean you might had accidentally made a Love Child?!
Danny finds out that
1. He's a clonish 'love child' of two heroes
2. He was accidentally created during one of his donors mental break downs after losing his father and best friends (one of which was his other donor)
3. CW interfered before his creator realized what he made and pulled him out of that dimension because "it would had lead that world to true ruin if he found out at his state of mind. He's better now but it would had been the final straw for him should anything had happened to you in his care and given who he had to partner up with later... I did what I had to."
4. Due to Danny having a bad fall out with his parents after he told them about being Phantom (they didn't attack him... but they did disown him.) Danny is left adrift of what to do. He doesn't wanna bug Jazz, she's in college and dorming. Tuckers place has no room. Sam's parents would never let him stay. Vlad was a definitely a no go. And Dani (Ellie) last check in was near the Amazon rainforest.
5. Danny finds out some of his powers might not be as ghostly as he thought... it does explain the huge power boost some of his powers have compared to other ghosts.
6. He went to Clockwork... who proceeded to tell him the truth, smile his cryptic smile while saying "and now. Have fun this time around. I'll see you again in due time Daniel." Before yeeting him into a portal.
7. Danny woke up in his home dimension.... deaged to being five years old (the age he would be if he stayed and grew by now) (DC timeline is slower than DP in this)
8. He woke up apparently his creator's home city... during a Gala (Danny woke up in a garden, dazed and confused. His memories are fuzzy)... and wandered into the party... and apparently he looked like a perfect mix of his.. dads? Which catches A LOT of peoples attention.
9. Especially with Tim Drake-Wayne and Conner Kent-Luthor just announcing they're dating that very night.
10. Rumors and gossip of a random kid, who looks just like the recent happily announced couple, go flying quickly among the elite... and reaches certain ears before it gets to batfam and supers (I have a feeling they learned how to block out rumors and gossips during these events)
11. Those ears happen to be Lex Luthor and Ra's al Ghul (both who are there at the Gala just to annoy and unnerve the Bats and Supers)
12. By the time the rumors get to Tim and Conner, they find Danny almost getting taken away by one of those two.

You know what I would have loved in an alternate TotK with a more nuanced story and a more nuanced Ganondorf, though? For him to still transform into a dragon, but only after his last boss phase. And then, *as the lore of the game stipulates like three times over* (and then constantly contradicts and ignores even though it was the only thing that had lasting consequences ANYWAY), he actually does lose himself.
Like he's just gonna be an immortal dragon now, letting go of his consciousness and goals but still refusing to be erased. And so you'd have a postgame Hyrule where he's just, chilling in the air alongside Dinraal, Farosh and Naydra, and nobody can do shit about that.
It's just where he is now!
Anyway, I have finished Tears of the Kingdom.

i think the most interesting thing i've learned, after spending way way way too much time researching individual ghost shirt designs and their artists, is that BY FAR, the majority of them are just what the artist wanted to do. like, for virtually all of them that i've been able to find artist commentary on, it's more or less "yeah, i drew this and the reference was my idea and then the art director approved it." which means, okay, there's no grand conspiracy to put copia in a bunch of famous paintings of women. but it also means that like six different artists independently decided to do that and were all approved, and that really tickles me.

the good news is that I finished a book and it got me out of my reading slump where I would start things, not finish, switch to something else, not finish
the bad news is that "yes daddy" by jonathan parks-ramage is one of the worst written books I've read in a whiiiile. bland expositiony prose, flat characters, a bunch of weird plot detours. Written like a 200-page Wikipedia summary instead of an actual book
the worst news is that it has such intensely favorable gushing reviews on goodreads, and the people who hated it mostly hated it for a different reason, and so I'm left alone like oKAY BUT THE PROSE WAS SHIT, HOW DO YOU NOT SEE THIS

// Fordo's participation in the Imperial Department of Military Research did not extend strictly to weapons, armor, and vehicles, but even things like field rations as well. Having lived on rations for significant parts on his life to the point of becoming a bit of a private connoisseur, he takes a interest in the realm of culinary research. He goes out of his way to participate the trials of prototype field rations, eating them on solo missions as intended and writing reviews.
As an admirer in efficiency in all its forms, he tends to favor ration bars and cubes: highly preserved, calorically dense foods that are simple to eat while on the march or too-near combat to sit down for a meal. For his life, they are the perfect food. In some instances, he grants projects he's personally fond of his official backing or sponsorship.

LOVED your Milagro analysis! I recently showed the episode to a friend who's not an xf fan, and she was bothered by the lack of emotion from Mulder and i was like...whatt. how can you not see how bothered and jealous he is from the minute he discovers it was padgett who sent the charm. his expressions in the elevator, breaking into his apartment to find Scully there, every time Scully defended padgett, like I was eating that shti right upp so I was so confused. I think it's difficult for people who aren't used to watching DD's acting (especially as Mulder) to be able to see the subtleties. I actually think Milagro's quite significant in terms of their emotional arch as well, I know he ditches her again the next episode but I feel a definite shift in their energies, like some things had been cleared, and then he does come back to her (baseball scene), whenever he can find the headspace to get away from his obsessive need to search and find, he always comes back to Scully (touchstone I actually cannotttt). anyway, I feel really validated in my emotions after reading the post so sorry for the rant but really appreciate it!!!
I get the same thing-- I also have someone I showed the series to, and she, unironically, falls into the "MSR wouldn't last and is surprised that it did" noromo camp.
DD's acting as Mulder is soooooooooooo great: even compared to his earlier work, there was a flatness undercut by jocular tongue-in-cheek teasing that makes it so memorable. But I found, even when watching a scene, that if I take random screenshots they STILL don't capture the emotion-- I have to be very careful which expressions to pick because they're "flit and they're gone" reactions.
And thank you for liking the Milagro analyses! It was an out-of-left-field for me, and surprisingly a lot of (not hard) work, two parts turning into three and 30 screenshots turning into 30 sets of 3 squished together screenshots. Love the feedback, and rant anytime~! ;)))))
