Dude, so i tried a @larabar for the first time a few days ago. To be honest i can’t pay a lot for protein bars so i was looking for one that’s the most natural, least processed, with the lowest cost, that won’t upset my digestive system. I found these at @winco for $3.98 for a pack of 5 bars. (Which is significantly cheaper than both Walmart & target.) that’s less than $1 per bar! They’re $5.74 at my local target —no thanks! That’s why i haven’t tried these in the past, they’ve always seemed real expensive. I tried this lemon flavored one but they had a few other kinds also. I love lemon stuff so i was curious. I also love nuts & dates so it was no wonder this bar is so delicious to me. . . In addition to these bars being low cost, tasting great, having a moist texture (vs hard and dry), they’re gluten free, vegan, dairy free, & soy free as well! These baddies only have 6 ingredients (& 3 are lemony/flavor related): Cashews, Dates, Almonds, Lemon Juice, Lemon Juice Concentrate, & Lemon oil. Literally everyday foods mashed together. I could make these at home, but I’m happy i don’t need too bc Larabar will for me! These are so delicious and are my new go to snack. If you get the opportunity and if you enjoy lemony things, and aren’t allergic to nuts, i recommend you pick one of these up. I doubt you’ll regret it! They have over 20 flavors each with only 2-9 ingredients inside. . . Also these bars don’t wreck havoc on my digestion system. I thought the lemon juice might affect my acid reflux.. it didn’t at all! Many new bars give me heartburn and these don’t; which is another reason why i love them. I probably don’t get bothered by them bc they aren’t super processed; I love when foods aren’t super processed for these reasons. They’re just plain old, nicer to you and your body. I just finished my last of these @natureswaybrands NutraVerge Omega-3 plant based softgels that NaturesWay ever so kindly sent me. First and foremost these softgels do not give me heartburn like my previous omegas did (Score!). That was the reason why i was on the hunt for a new brand. • • Thankfully i found these and they are #Vegan, #GelatinFree and contain both algae-derived DHA (algal oil), EPA, and omega3 fatty acids. What i like most is that they source their omegas from plants and not fish. Meaning fish are saved and no 3rd party omegas just straight up plant based (I’m in love). • • Overall these omega-3s did the job for me. They didn’t make me feel bad or sick at all, and no fishy burps after either because again (my favorite part lol) it’s not from fish. #Sweet i would buy these again. They’re an affordable plant based omega. I use this @nutiva Hemp Protein in the morning when i eat Cream of wheat. It has no bad taste to it and it dissolves well. We use it in other recipes too like shakes and baking. • • I enjoy this protein because it’s not hard on my digestive system. It doesn’t give me a lot of heartburn and it’s hemp/plant based. By far i know, I’m not the prettiest girl around, I’m not the skinniest girl either. I am nothing more than myself. 💜💛#DusaPaloozaWeek Day 1: Sooo.. it’s my first time doing @DJ_Dusa’s Dusa Palooza Week! This #MakeupChallenge is for 1 week; you use 1 eyeshadow pallete all week (Mon - Friday) and you make 5 different looks with it!
