It’s finally here!

We’re pleased to announce the release of Heka, a free digital Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters zine, now available for download!  Our wonderful contributors have created more than 80 pages of magical stories and art, which you can download for free right here.

2020 Fanworks highlight!

So I actually didn’t draw much at all in 2020 but when I did it was big pieces and often for zines, which I’m quite proud of!

1. I played alot of ff7r and I really took my time on this piece and used a few new techniques. I love the details and my fave Cloud is the top left.

2. My HEKA picture! I was really proud of this zine piece, after a rough start to the year with another zine getting a 2nd chance with heka and creating this Malik pic reminded me they are a lot of fun to be apart of

3. Another piece where I tried new things! I finally got round to watch Mob Psycho 100 in 2020 and I absolutely loved it!

Replying to Comments From the Interest Check For Heart & Soul: A YGO Signature Card Zine

Would love for Sevens to be included as a series

Looking at the interest check as it is now, it’s very likely that we will be making space for Sevens & the OCG Manga, so you might be in luck. We would love to have Yūga, Shōma, and company included in this zine!

There aren't enough ygo zines going around. So glad to see one after so long ;___;

No problem, we’re so excited to get this zine going ourselves! We get the impression that YGO zines aren’t very common, and that was partially the reason why this one was started. 

Just to let you know, though, there are a few YGO zines currently running, so if you’re interested, here’s a small list:

Heka Zine (currently in the creation period) 

P.O.S.S.E.S.S.E.D. (pre-orders until 11/01/20)

YGO Travel Zine (currently in creation period)

Hocus Pocus (unsure about the current status of this one)

Touch the Sky Zine (interest check open until 09/22/20)

Lacquer Zine (apps open until 10/05/20)

You should check them out and see if they’re for you! (AYGOZineProduction is not associated with any of these zine or accounts. We’d just like to see YGO zines succeed as well. ^^)

Hi, each contributor will be assigned one character to focus on, so no two contributors are doing the same character. Each contributor will only be doing one piece each for this zine, unless we reach the extreme case that we need to fill spots last minute or so. 

If you’re asking if we’re going to be focusing on characters from DM to VRAINS, then yes, we are, in addition to Sevens and OCG Manga. You’re allowed to apply for any characters from these eight series!

I'm really only familiar with characters from DM, and a small few from GX. So my character repertoire is a little limited, but I'm still very interested!

Just that I'd be interested in being involved as an artist for this zine. I haven't been as great keeping up with the latest YGO series but the OG 'Season 0', DM, and Millennium World is a permanent positive staple in my heart, cards and deck styles included.

What little you know/like now is great. This zine is about YGO fans of all kinds coming together; it’s not a competition so everyone is welcomed. In the end, we’re all connected by the heart of the cards!
