Now that Chaldea is on high alert about these diversion singularities done by Goetia, it’s only a matter of time before the next one is detected. As if on cue, the next Singularity makes itself known just a day after Ritsuka and Rikka returned from Shinjuku. Having barely gotten a chance to rest, Romani is worried that this Singularity would push the twins beyond their limits. Enter Sieg, another inexperienced, low rank Master who’s been in Chaldea for some time but has never gotten a chance to fight. Seeing no other option, Romani agrees to rayshift Sieg and his servant, Astolfo to a place that many in history have dreamed of. A world within a world; Agartha. An underground paradise that holds deep secrets, tragedy, and war.

i really like this bit in holmes new interlude where he talks about the lostbelts and correctly frames them as a horrible tragedy, but ultimately something that is the alien god’s fault, not ours. 

I think often the fandom gets caught up in the edginess of the lostbelt situation, how it puts blood on our hands, without remembering that part of it. In the end this isn’t a situation we choose. We didn’t get up one day and choose to go around erasing other worlds, we were forced into this multidimensional death game by the actual culprit. idk i just like how holmes very logically lays that out, acknowledges how horrible what we’ve been forced to do is, but also keeps it in perspective as to who the real person to blame is here.
