PJSK CHARACTERS WATCHING THEIR S/O DIE OVER AND OVER

short desc: kinda like the madoka magica plot where homura becomes a traumatized war veteran because madoka always dies

note: i wrote this on january 2023 and i dont remember anything so it probably sucks

shizuku was completely exhausted, to say the least.

she couldn’t bear the feeling of losing you and having to start over every time. having to turn the both of you into strangers again. her loving you with all her heart, and you not even knowing who she is.

even shiho, who’s not the closest to her sister, notices her sudden mood drop, yet, uncertain of what could be troubling her, she decides not to ask.

whenever shizuku sees you for the ‘first time’ again, she wishes she could tell you what to do to avoid your death, but she couldn’t — that would only make things worse, and she’s very well aware of that.

as much as it pains her, she can only do small things to try to change the future, for now.

“I promise you, one day, it’ll be over. And when that day comes, I can finally spend my so-desired time with you.”

what was honami doing wrong?

she did everything, everything, to avoid that terrible fate. but it couldn’t be helped — it would still happen, no matter how much she tried.

she gave her all, she devoted herself to saving you. she was trying her best, her all, to keep you safe and alive. apparently, it wasn’t good enough. it was never good enough. every time, you’d end up dying in her arms. over and over.

whenever she sees you for the ‘first time’, she feels her heart ache. knowing that she’ll have to go through everything again and again, only for a false image of hope that maybe, maybe she could save you.

she never had the chance to tell you the words she was dying to say. even in your last moments, she couldn’t bring herself to say it. ever since the first tragedy, you’ve never heard the words ‘I love you’ from her ever again.

“Once I can finally let my guard down, then I’ll allow myself to soften at your touch. I love you. Evsen if I’m not ready to say it, I hope you know that.”

as much as he wanted to, rui couldn’t give up. not yet. not until he saved you.

why him? why you? why did you both have to be disturbed in such a manner?

in the beginning, he thought himself to be really lucky, to have the opportunity of being with you one more time. but as more time passed, he started to believe this was not a blessing — but instead a curse.

waking up, knowing that he’d try his all to save you but being aware that it all would go to waste, was extremely exhausting.

whenever he saw you for the ‘first time’, he could feel himself relaxing at the thought of being together with you again. having your hands run through his hair, having you laugh at his cringey pick-up lines... he yearned for that, even if he knew he couldn’t have it, at least not at that time.

he watched you die over and over. eventually, death was not a new concept to him. but every time, even knowing it wasn’t the first time and it wouldn’t be the last, watching your lifeless body always gave him a feeling of despair.s

you always called him a genius, then, why? why couldn’t he come up with a brilliant plan, as you’d say, to save you? why couldn’t he save the one person who stood by him at all times?

“I want to be with you so bad, but still, I’m not able to keep you here long enough. What am I doing wrong, my love?”

this wasn’t fair. this wasn’t fair at all. why did they have to take you — ena’s favorite person?

she’d give 110% of her to keep you, even knowing that she couldn’t be with you, knowing that you’d die again, she still chased after your life as if it’d be the last thing she’ll ever do.

sometimes, she couldn’t help but being irritated. if only she didn’t love you, this wouldn’t be happening to her. she was very well-aware that this was one selfish thought, but she thought about it every now and then. despite being mad, she could never say that she regretted loving you.

whenever she saw you for the ‘first time’, she knew it was important to keep her distance, for your safety. despite that, she glanced at you quite often, fighting the urge to go after you.

having to be emotionally distant from you frustrated her. she watched you talk to a lot of people throughout the day, knowing that she wouldn’t be one of them. after all, you were still her significant other, even if you didn’t know it.

“Why won’t you simply stay?! Damn it... I want you to be safe, be alive, be mine! And I’ll make sure it happens, even if it takes a hundred... no, a thousand times.”

the only thing toya wished for was for it to be over.

it was extremely tiring. he’d never do something that pains him, but he couldn’t give up on you just yet. even if he has to go through the same feeling of emptiness every time, he’s willing to do it, if it means saving you.

not only that, but even his bandmates notice his sudden lack of motivation. every time, akito confronted him about that, but he never answered. he couldn’t tell him the truth, he’d never believe it. it was awful to avoid his best friend, but he couldn’t help it, rescuing you was his top priority.

whenever he saw you for the ‘first time’, you merely looking at him already made his heart flutter, as if it were before the tragedy. he loved to see you so... lively. yet, he knew he shouldn’t let his guard down, as he was already aware of what would happen.

he tried his best to keep you away from danger, directly or indirectly, but none of his actions seemed to help. in the end, he always held your lifeless body, never having the chance to confess his undying love for you once more.

“I’ll do everything for things to go back as they used to be. Even if it takes thousands of times, I won’t give up, not until I make sure you’re safe.”

Nene is the true heat switch. There is days that she can barely be near you, claiming you emit too much heat. And other days she is snuggling next to you, like a cat seeking the heater's warmth

"Uh? didn't you say I'm too warm?" "That was yesterday. Today's colder"

Hinomori Shizuku

Now, Shizuku is kind of cheating here. She is technically a switch, but since physical touch is one of her main love languages, she might claim that she is just cold to be closer to you.

"You are so warm~" "Are you really cold?"

Kamishiro Rui

It can be a little surprising that Rui is actually cold most of the time. Since he is tall, you could think he has lots of body heat, but since he is usually stuck working on his machines, his body might forget to reheating itself, sometimes.

"-woah! Your hands are very cold!" "Oh, are they? Could you help me warming them, then?~"

Toya:

Toya is kind of new to the concept, but he picks up being a caregiver pretty easily!

Whenever he notices you're about to regress, he kind of panics, but he tries to ask you what you want to do about it

He's definitely the type to plan out a kit just for you, filling it with everything you mention you like when regressed

Unless you're the type of little who cannot stay still, he likes to sit with you and read you a bunch of stories

He might be a bit awkward with it at times, not knowing if his bluntness translates well, but he's doing his best for you <3

"Hey, my dear...Are you alright? Can I get you anything?"

Akito:

Akito is incredibly unsure of himself as a caregiver, but he tries his best!

Admittedly, it takes him a bit to recognize the signs when you're regressing. Once he learns them though, he's quick to act

He has a bunch of things he's gathered that reminds him of you, and he brings them all out when you regress

He absolutely entertains you however he can, from making you little outfits to beat boxing to even making pancakes for you!

Even if he can be gruff, he's really caring to the people he loves, so he makes sure that you're nice and safe in his care <3

"Oy, careful with that! I don't want you getting hurt on my watch-"

Shizuku:

Shizuku is definitely one of, if not the best caregiver on this list!

She always has a sort of sense for whenever you're going to regress, and is very quick to coddle and baby you

She's incredibly affectionate, and always makes sure to keep a plushie or something else on hand just for you!

She dotes on you so much, you're literally never getting out of her arms for as long as you're regressed

She's a big sister at heart, and will always cuddle and kiss you, regressed or not, any chance she can! <3

"Awww, my little love!! You're just so adorable, I could hold you all day!"

Haruka:

While Shizuku is an incredible caregiver, Haruka is very close behind!

She may not notice when she herself has problems, but the moment you start to regress, she helps you out immediately

She is absolutely more than willing to keep anything for littles that are penguin themed just for you, they're a staple in her bag!

She doesn't really allow herself to have many hobbies, so she's more than fine just following whatever your little self wants

She is definitely a very dedicated and caring person, so you can expect her to give her all while caring for you! <3

# minori.

she’s more used to upbeat, idol-like dance routines, but minori would never pass up a chance to dance with her lover! seriously, if you asked her to country dance with you she would. with the same amount of determination.

she’s never slow danced before, but finds that it’s actually quite easy! the nice, peaceful rhythm of the music in the background while she sways with you is very relaxing to her.

though, she finds herself becoming a bit… distracted. the feeling of your hands placed gently on her waist, your face inches away from hers that sneaking a kiss would be oh so easy… she doesn’t even take notice that the song has ended, and you stopped dancing. her reaction to the sudden kiss she receives from you makes it all worth it, to both of you. <3

haruka enjoys all sorts of dancing, slow dancing being no exception! though, she’s so used to idol dance routines that she finds herself moving around faster unconsciously. this only makes you giggle and kiss her cheek before continuing once more <3.

soft moments between you and her like these are her favourite. just her and her lover, swaying to the soft melodies after a long day of idol work, it calms her down.

her favourite thing to do during these times is lay her head on your shoulder while your hands rest on her waist, taking in your scent as you both move around freely. it’s stuff like this that makes her fall in love all over again. <3

# airi.

to your surprise, airi was the one to suggest this. she had recently found an old record player in her house coupled with a few CD’s, but the songs that she dug up aren’t exactly suitable for idol dancing, though, airi still found a way to enjoy it!

“[name], let’s slow dance!” “huh-?” but before you can object, she’s already placing the CD into the record player and pulling you up from your seating position to dance. since she’s shorter, her arms are around your neck while yours are positioned on her waist. it’s nice.

you hear a soft exhale from your girlfriend as she sways gently with you, it’s different to see her dancing in such a calm manner. she usually shows you the dance routines she’s been learning with MORE MORE JUMP, so seeing her like this is completely new. though, this was a side of her that she really only showed to you, and you were grateful for that. unconsciously, you plant a kiss to her head which pulls her from her gentle state and sputters, and you giggle lightly. you wouldn’t want anyone else. <3

# shizuku.

a gentle girl at heart, shizuku would definitely suggest slow dancing. there’s nothing she enjoys more than taking you in her arms and moving around freely, nothing but the sounds of soft melodies and steady breathing.

“[name].” “yes?” “would you like to slow dance with me?” you oblige, and she pulls you into her arms. since shizuku is tall, she has her hands on your waist while your arms are around her neck. she looks at you with such a gentle smile that makes your heart swell.

times like these with shizuku make you think about how lucky you are. such a pretty girl in your arms, but it’s not only because she’s pretty. you love shizuku because she’s, well, shizuku, and you wouldn’t want her any other way. as the song fades, she presses a soft kiss to your forehead while whispering; “i love you.”

But she soon realized it was just you humming so randomly (she totally didnt thought you were a demon—)

Dw she thinks your cute whenever you hum and she might even join you hum around

You two always go to karaoke in weekends and you two always sings together and sometimes also sing a duet

Mmj (except airi) was shocked when shizuku started humming around more but they just thought it's just a habbit of hers

When shizuku started humming around more she already knows that it mightve been between you and shizuku's hangouts/dates that made her hum more but she isnt complaining just dont break shizuku's heart.

Now rui is a different case

He doesn't mind you humming, he'll just listen to you while continuing working on his new works

If your lucky you might even see him smiling and giggle a little dont worry! He just finds you cute.

Rui is quite busy working but he does make up some time for you, either be it a date outside/inside or maybe even have a little singing duet!

Airi often finds herself getting strangely flustered whenever you refer to her so affectionately

Especially if you do so in front of others

She loves it though, of course. Greet her enthusiastically with a cute petname and she feels fiercely flustered about it

Airi often tries to "get you back" by throwing a different petname right back at you

Usually you're just amused by her attempts though

Shizuku also adores your use of petnames on her, they make her feel so special

She often uses petnames on you too, much to your surprise

Shizuku's face seems to light up whenever you refer to her so affectionately that you can't help but shower her in verbal affection

And likewise, she does the same for you! When you see each other again after being apart, you two have about five minutes worth of calling each other cute petnames back and forth

You two end up sounding like those stereotypical couples who have really over-the-top and silly sounding petnames for each other

✧January 28th - Confession of Love (how do they confess to you?)

They are very shy and uncertain about it. Would you accept their confession or would you decline it? Would you even hear them out?! Their mind is panicking and they're nervous. They get even more nervous when they see you approaching while they fidget with the card they made for you in their hands. It's a very quick and sweet and they're all smiles when you accept!

-Ichika, Honami, Minori, Kohane

Straightforward and to the point, they're not going to waste time and honestly they just want to hear your answer so these feelings can stop eating at them every time they see you. It's so annoying that they get these butterflies whenever you laugh or smile! They want to be the one to make you smile like that. And kiss your face if you'd let them...

-Shiho, Akito, Ena

They're nervous but in a different way. Their nervousness is on the inside rather than showing it on the outside. They're ready for whatever answer you give them and have prepared themselves for rejection. Though, their confession ends up being a little forward because they wanted to beat their anxiety and just say it outright to you rather than beating around the bush. They mean well though!

-Toya, Nene

Very nervous and excited. This time, they're very excited to confess even though they haven't really prepared or thought about rejection. They're just too excited to tell you about their feelings and although rejection does cross their mind while they wait for you to arrive. If you do reject them, oh well! At least you guys can be friends, right? They very excitedly tell you after mentioning they have something to tell you.

A little more reserved with their feelings, they are forward and don't beat around the bush but they are cautious about it. They know rejection is a possibility and they wanted to be completely sure in their feelings for you before even thinking about confessing. Even then they were still a bit iffy when you arrived, thinking of not telling you just yet but, they don't regret it when they do end up confessing and you accept!

You weren't really the ugliest nor did you lack any charm. So you went through lot of relationships, but every single one had something wrong with them... Ichika was just hanging around in the music shop. She was looking through Miku shelve, looking for the newest album that recently dropped.

Though she couldn't find it even tho she looked through whole shop 6 times if not more! So she decided to approach a worker there with hopes of getting the album she came here for.

You turned around once you heard someone calling for you. It was long blue haired girl. She surely didn't lack any charms but you had to swallow the urge to flirt or ask for her number since you were during your work hours.

"Yes? What may I help you with? I assure you I can definitely at least try finding your album."

with how she is with shiho, it's no surprise that shizuku is a very affectionate person!

she's insanely comforting to hug, too. shizuku won't hesitate cuddling with you whenever you need to relieve stress, or if you just want to hug in general!

likes hugging you to sleep. if you need help, she'll even sing a lullaby just for you! maybe a calmer version of a more more jump song, or any song you want her to! with how soft and soothing her voice is, you'll fall asleep in no time.

she's the big spoon, by the way. unless you want otherwise, shizuku is the one who initiates it, putting her arms around your body and pulling you close to her with a content smile on her face.

she likes spoiling you with gifts as well! especially if you did a good job in school or got an award at a contest. whether it's a simple trinket or a snack you enjoy, you'll find it on your desk with a sweet handwritten note right beside it.

Lazy mornings with Honami, Shizuku and Mafuyu

Mochizuki Honami

Honami might be a little lazy in the mornings, but she is not technically slow. The average amount of time, not too slow not too quick.

She would adapt to your morning routine easily. She is also often influenced by your specific mood on different mornings. She likes following your lead.

She definitely loves sleepy cuddling with you. When you ask her for more cuddles before waking up, she feels like her heart is going to melt.

She is weak to your morning voice, too. You could ask her literally anything with that voice and she would do it. She is too embarrassed to admit it, though.

"Hona-chan… more…" "Hehe, okay. Just a little more"

Hinomori Shizuku

Shizuku is the type to have pretty lazy and slow mornings. Once she gets going is easy for her, but it takes her a wide amount of time to be a functional human being

Especially when getting out of bed. She would neither leave the bed or let you leave it. She is going to cling onto you if you try to leave the bed.

"Mmm... don't go..." "Shizu- we need to wake up…"

If you manage to elude her grasp, make her a nice breakfast and deliver it to her in bed, if will help her a lot to being ready to start day faster, and happier

She will pay you back later with lots of kisses and affection. Maybe even a delicious meal, if she can get the time.

Asahina Mafuyu

Mafuyu wakes up relatively quickly, usually. She needs a moment to get ready, but overall, on the fast side.

But when she is with you, she unconsciously take things a little slower. She finds herself watching you: how you rub your eyes, scratch the side of your head a little...

She thinks there is something pleasing in watching you do your routine. There is this warmth around her that forms when she sees how she is part of your routine now, too.

She will lean on you voicing a soft whimper at least once at a random point every morning. You have come to understand is her way of asking for a little of affection on mornings.
