i know it’s messy okay my fat fingers kept messing everything up. IM TRYING MY BEST. also i was scouring picrew to try and make her then i thought I LITERALLY HAVE HER IN MY GAME

some notes:

- for those who don’t know skyrim lore she nearly got executed for trying to cross the border into skyrim but escaped due to a DRAGON

- immediately after this she went to jail again for attacking a kid then murdering his mother. she was having a bad day (i didn’t understand the controls yet)

- she has so many jobs. dragonborn, archmage, bard, imperial legate, harbinger, thief, dawnguard vampire hunter, farmer…. the list goes on and on

- woeful pickpocket. slightly above average lock-picker. delighted grave robber

- despite her awful personality, she is the thane of nearly every hold. she’s still working on windhelm considering she. yknow. killed their jarl in the war

- also has so many houses. she was so poor when she came into skyrim but now she has so much money from mercenary work and graverobbing she doesn’t know what to do with it all. she’ll buy/build a house wherever she can because she never wants to sleep rough again like she had to when she was new to skyrim

- that and she also likes to have enough space to hoard her various treasures. #hoarder

- her inventory is FULL of other people’s business. letters, journals, keys….

- claustrophobic but she’s always forced into a damn cave

- favourite food is potato soup and a sweet roll

- surprisingly religious she always wears her amulet of akatosh

- also used to be surprisingly gullible because she just wanted to help people. but that backfired enough times now she is very cynical and a lot meaner

- DOG PERSON

- absent father yes but she does care about her kids she just picked up off the street. comes back once a month to dump a load of gold and sweet rolls at them then leaves again to go fight a dragon

- married marcurio her hired mercenary turned best friend so he would get her inheritance if she died but there’s nothing romantic between them they’re just so close. thought she didn’t care about romance until she met serana. they’re not friends or gfs but a secret third thing

#this has nothing to do with redacted but i wanted to have it laid out somewhere #now that she finally has a name #the best way to make a backstory is open up a video game file and see what happens #like i don’t have to come up with this it’s just the luck of the skyrim glitches #hollyposting #our shining avalie

i adore this post and wanted to make something cute in my scrapbook inspired by it

both handmade notepads only have 3 pages (as to not bulk up my scrapbook more than it already is). they are glued to the inside of scrapbook but the left side of the asexual notepad is not glued so the aromantic one can be flipped on top of it and opened. ill probably update when i actually write down some aro and ace things to do!

long ramble on shrues loneliness and I’m crazy below :3

oh I’m obsessed with shrue’s loneliness actually, now that I’m thinking about it… they liked the idea of putting their head in a noose with a delegate from the linger strait to represent companionship— a tradition from a god to signify unity between a couple. they were attacked by specifically love-saints. they turned the promised bride story into a love story, a story about escaping marriage, which could’ve even been unconscious rather that deliberate as they’d probably felt it was required and necessary, before twisting it to their cause. and, obviously, the most evident thing, the fact that they’re somewhat under the impression they have a partner and kids now.

they’re so lonelyyy and it’s not hard to see why. nearly every named character in the podcast dislikes or hates them and for good reason. whenever shrue is mentioned they’re called spineless and incompetent, which… is true! they’ve done terrible things and ordered terrible things because they didn’t think things out and are generally a corrupted, terrible political figure. the most prominent example, being that they ordered mercer and gage to kill a god and then threw up their hands and went “well, I didn’t think that entailed killing their people, too!” as if all gods in the series aren’t fueled by belief. shrue has only been surrounded by people who are required to surround them.

and, okay, this is just my interpretation, but they seem so easily turnt over by people using flowery language towards them, when they praise them. and in the latest episode when carson had turned them into a cruel joke in front of a crowd, shrue still appeared to trust his word when he assured them that they’re brave for speaking up. they seem to have a bit of a weak point there…

shrue is so lonely and i honestly hope it stays that way. I really love how this new episode shined a light on it, it really made a lightbulb go off in my head, i love how much it’s been sprinkled throughout the podcast so far!!!!

would appreciate any other thoughts on them in the replies or my asks :3
