Just watched the first and second episodes of S&L S2 and omg! It was so so good. 100% had me simping for Mr. Jonathan Kent again. Plus Tyler is still amazing as Superman, like I can’t 🫡.

He’s just so amazing. He went from sweet little Tyler on seventh Heaven to boom 💥 I’m here as Superman bi***… not to mention uncle Peter hale thrown into the mix?? Uggh I’m so here for this season!!! Someone help me!!! This is all making me absolutely just live for the show again. I’m so excited to see what happens. Still hoping that they go with the one where Jon’s powers are just dormant and shows up cause like I love that one. I will admit I started out mad at Lois again because she was putting her emotions off onto her boys, again 🙄, but again she amazed me because she always sees when she’s in the wrong. I absolutely hated the fact she didn’t notice her son was hurting though. When she’s talking with Jordan after he comes home from being with Sara all she notices is her own pain. She doesn’t even notice that he’s been crying. He had tear streaks on his face. That’s one thing I didn’t like at all. Like I was so so sad for Jordan in that moment because she didn’t even notice that he too is hurting and needs a mama moment. He just needs his mama to notice that rather then go off on him because of her own feelings.

You can’t say I’m wrong. I’ve been a fan of his for basically all my life. I grew up with two older sisters who watched sevenths heaven and I always loved watching with them. When he first came on the show I adored him and still do. I am a fan from way back not just from his teen wolf days. I did love him in teen wolf, but I’ve loved him for a lot longer then his teen wolf days.

Tyler’s just so cute and sweet I just love him so much.

🥃- Rogue Amendiares

Vince has a lot of respect for Rogue, what she's achieved, how she's running the Afterlife, everything really. To make it to her age in this line of business is an impressive feat, and to have a reputation as good as hers to go along with it even more so. Simultaneously, after seeing some of Johnny's memories of her, Vince got the impression that through all of this she stayed true to herself, and he believes she's blaming herself for things she had no control over. Both these things speak in her favour too though, in a way - she kept her humanity and didn't lose herself in the city like many others. I think seeing what Rogue has achieved against all odds gives him hope for the future in a strange way.

He'd obviously never tell her anything of this in person, she probably wouldn't give a fuck about his opinion anyway, as is her right. But yes... I think respectful admiration but professional distance sums up their relationship quite well.

💴- Hanako Arasaka

The thing with the Arasakas is, they're so hard to read. Hanako, so incredibly illusive and out of the public's eye, in particular. Vince's father always had the Arasakas on a bit of a pedestal, praising them for their achievements and whatnot, so admittedly, he is somewhat curious about them and wants to know what all the fuss is about.

His direct interactions with Hanako are of brief duration, given all the external factors at play, way too short really to form a solid opinion of her. On the one hand for Takemura's sake, but also because the whole Mikoshi scenario Alt suggests doesn't sit super well with Vince, he meets her at Embers to hear her out with sincerity. He can never shake the feeling that he's being manipulated while talking to her, despite trusting Takemura's judgement that Hanako is someone you can talk to, and that she has her own reasons to also put her trust in them. It scares him a bit how almost like a reflex during that conversation he reverts back to all the empty phrases and pleasantries he used to utilize so frequently during his time at the corporation, as if nothing ever happened, as if he was back working there already. He's leaving the place feeling even more conflicted than before, wanting to trust her, but also feeling like he's being played, once again, and treated like a pawn in a game he cannot win.

🔮- Misty Olszewski

When Jackie first introduces Misty to him, Vince's initial reaction is "really? but why?" because they seem like they don't really match. He doesn't quite understand what Jackie sees in her, isn't too keen on her whole esoteric stuff either, and overall feels like she is too much from a different world to his own to really find a common ground. I'm not even speaking of her being from Heywood, Vince from Westbrook, because that also applies to him and Jackie. Their interests and views are just very far apart, or so it seems initially.

As time goes on though and Vince sees just how happy Misty makes his best friend, and vice versa, he's reminded of something Jackie told him quite often: to never judge a book by its cover. He manages to look past all the - to him - "weird" stuff he doesn't get about Misty and recognizes what a sweet and loving and positive person she is. She cares so much for the people around her, loves life, and usually just leaves him with a good feeling after every conversation they have, despite all his initial reservations.

He still doesn't quite get the whole tarot and mysticism stuff, he probably never will, but because it's Misty he lets her do her thing and promises to keep more of an open mind to new experiences.

Vincent’s get along with: 💴- Hanako Arasaka

Well, I think they get along too well. Of course, it's not always the case. Vincent and Hanako are polar opposites which is the trigger for usually stupid quarrels between them, but in all of that, it's also something that bonds them together. Hanako craves Vincent (as him as a person) because he is everything she isn't. He is the forbidden fruit, the snake in the garden, and she really wants everything he has to offer. It's delightful and makes her ✨feel✨ things she never experienced before. Good feels and therefore addicting. On the other hand, is Vincent. A nomad in love with the biggest corpo bitch on the planet. A damned soul, that just wants the taste of what's forbidden for himself too in what seems to be the last moments of his life. He wants to give himself, for as little as his feelings just being accepted. For context, young Vincent swore to himself to never fall in love again, after "the love of his life" turned out to cheat on him multiple times, and she actually never respected him, thinking his emotional side is laughable. But Vincent was the "good boy", and it was the safe option of a partner to be with. So after that, he spent years having casual relationships with other women, plenty of one-night stands, friends with benefits... but it never was someone who he had some kind of romantic emotional connection with. And there was Hanako, alone, between a rock and a hard place. Heartbroken. Needing someone who would trust her and she could trust, someone who would be there for her in such dire moments. Of course, she needed an ally to win her case. But Vincent saw beyond her facade. The truth was, that she would like to have someone who would be there for her, so that next time anything like this happens, she has a soul to rely on. Someone she can trust unconditionally, and don't be scared to be backstabbed. Hanako was accepting of Vincent's prolonged stares at her with his puppy eyes, and "don't bullshit me, Hanako" attitude. Most importantly, she accepted that he makes her feel weak. Because Vincent was the first person to see her as "Just Hanako.". He didn't need her to save his life, since there was Alt and Aldecaldos willing to help. He didn't need her dirty money and lies. He wanted rough truth, raw emotions. To see Hanako rolling her eyes when he said something stupid, to scream at him if he crossed the line, to blush when they stared at each other too long, and to smile when she was happy with how things went. He somehow, and she doesn't understand how, was able to read her like an open book from the very beginning. And Vincent never judged her, because he's not a saint himself. Somehow in all the circus and bloodshed two damned souls found each other, and it happens that together they filled the gaps the other lacked. This created a strong bond between them. And even if at first Hanako lied to herself she was in this for her selfish reasons, because Vincent offered her something new, she is as in love with him as he is with her. They are blind to the world because of that, and they will do everything in their power to create a new world for themselves if they have to. That's why I mean they get along too well. Their love has no limits, and the sacrifices they are willing to do for each other are dangerous. I hope I explained that well :>

🍙 - Goro Takemura

Vincent and Goro had really a rough start. Goro considered Vincent a really stupid, disgraced thief until he proved himself at the Parade by defeating Oda and letting him live at Goro's wish. It was the moment Vincent gained Goro's respect, but also something that could be named almost friendship. Before they did have some glimpses of a "normal" relationship, as during the reconnaissance they shared parts of their past, as well as desires. As a nomad, Vincent kind of encouraged Goro to become one after everything ends. He even started planning how would be the best way to do it, and they both theorized about it quite a lot. They made a good team during the bloodshed at Arasaka Tower, however, just like some of the others, Goro did notice the way Vincent looks at Hanako. He even caught them staring at each other when everyone at the meeting was too occupied with Saburo's hologram. He did not like that. And he did not believe Hanako accidentally left a kiss with her lipstick on Vincent's cheek when the nomad covered her with his body from the shots fired at them. I headcanon, that Goro treated Hanako kind of like his own daughter because she was Saburo's apple of the eye after all. And he did not like the idea of Vincent trying to mess with her. Goro was aware of how dangerous he truly is, he knew that if the young nomad wanted it, he would spill the blood on the way to be next to Hanako. But he was not a good match for her in Goro's eyes.

Because of that Goro held a bit of distaste for Vincent. But since it was the endgame, already, there was no way or time to show it, so they finished their job on good terms. Because Goro was the only person that knew Vincent before Hanako (well aside from Hellman but he was bitching all the time), she approached him when Vincent was at the Arasaka Orbital Station. Hanako tried to hide the true nature of her intentions, but it was clear to him after she almost begged Goro to convince Vincent to engraming himself. Goro realized, that whatever connects the two of them is mutual, therefore she can't really be mad at Vincent. He even went as far, as fulfilling Hanako's wish, even tho Goro was aware she was doing everything behind Saburo's back. After that, Goro and Vincent became friends to an extent. Goro would be oblivious to whatever Hanako and Vincent were doing, however, if Saburo would order him to kill Vincent, he would do it without question (or more like, he really believes he would, but the truth may surprise him). Goro even was the last person from Arasaka to see Hanako and Vincent in the flesh, before they went missing with the Aldecaldos in my Nomad AU fic.

❔ - Adam Smasher

Vincent heard a lot about Smasher. Let it be at the Afterlife, or even at his Max Tac training, where they basically admitted that they won't even try to handle someone like him so it's better to stay away. Smasher was a legend after all, but not in a good way. Vin also experienced Evelyn's memories of when she met him, and he did talk to Rogue. As she was not willing to tell him much about her own past with Smasher, she did share some top-secret info about Edgerunners' crew and their deadly encounter with him. And definitely, Johnny's hatred for him corrupted Vincent's blank opinion of him. He knew the guy is insane, and society would rather benefit from having fewer scumbags like him. He really hoped he would at least encounter Smasher at Ebunike, but he wasn't there. Vincent knew that it was just a matter of time before they really cross paths since they already saw each other during Hanako's rescue. And he swore to himself to kill him, not for himself, but for Rogue and Johnny's sake.

Fun fact: After Vincent killed Smasher, which seemed to be impossible, Michiko took it upon herself to find out for her own curiosity what made Vincent special. She came to the conclusion that Vincent shows similar behaviors to Smasher, with his kill counts, lengths he's ready to cross, etc. However, his actions are rooted in his emotions, while Smasher didn't have any.

🍙 💴 please! Gotta know about Sal and the others in Arasaka!

tysm for asking! i've probably said it a thousand times but sal's canon is still a huge wip, so some stuff might be updated or retconned later. beware of spoilers for the main questlines. questions taken from here!

🍙  - Goro Takemura

Besides the Landfill Incident, a moment and will forever remain with Sal is their conversation during Gimme Danger (cliché, I know). They had gotten along before, but after Goro declines her offer to leave Arasaka and become a nomad and still insists on clinging onto people who don't value him as a human being, she's... disappointed, both on Takemura for being a gonk, and on her, for allowing herself to hope for a happy ending for him. Their relationship is never the same, and declines quickly after her and Yorinobu get closer. In fact, the only reason why he survives the parade is because Sal gets caught too. She wouldn't have come back for him.

💴- Hanako Arasaka

I've said it before but: Sal spends most of her relationship with her sister-in-law scared of her for a multitude of reasons, so up until things get better (they do, don't worry), her memories of Hanako aren't exactly pleasant. The one that stuck with her the most was when Sal's relationship with Yorinobu (that was quickly turning romantic), which the two had insisted on keeping secret, was found out by Hanako and very big arguments followed. The relationship between Sal and Hanako has been very rocky, but it does have a good ending.

Jeff(the guy at the very top) is the cousin and sperm donor of the infamous nack the weasel who is also part jerboa yet also part wolf.

Jeff’s donation was the extra assistance nack needed in order to conceive a son and only a son(he was very serious about passing down his legacy)with a human woman named Sarah who was a veil red head who was strictly in it for the money 💴 now reduced to a petty accuse for a bratty and narcissistic ex wife in a sweaty old apartment.

In addition nic also had a donor one who didn’t even show there face of course which resulted in her getting the daughter she always wanted to the point where she was even more supportive than her mother ever was(I bet grandma was a real pain in a mules butt)and oh gosh was she clever or what?

then of course you have the donor baby bros don, Joey, and Leo ♌️ they have the most brotherly bond known to man and boy is fang jealous of it even tho they are only partially related by different women with the same father in mind.

as for fang himself he is the son of the now infamously world renound nack the greatest assassin in history(despite all the rowdy fights with sonic sir) who not only has a tough rivalry with Nicole but has managed to win an alliance with his half brothers despite their flaming tempers and even uglier insults like these boys will and can swear like actual sailors I swear but let’s just say he has a rather rotten relationship with his dad who essentially treats him like a carbon copy of himself to an unhealthy extent to the point where they actively hate each other (the selfish jerk😒😠🙄)so of course bark jr doesn’t have a great feeling about em nor does the og bark nowadays he loves his son not his old boss at least he has a much better relationship with his son than he ever did with old man nacho over here 👈 who treated him like an asset than a person.
