Re: cliches, "I'll bandage you up" sounds like a good one for Lightning and Hope 🥰

Neither of them had much talent for cooking. Sure, they could boil pasta or throw something in the oven, but anything more intricate was usually handed over to Serah. So when Lightning walked into the kitchen one day and saw Hope surrounded by pots and pans and utensils, methodically chopping some vegetables, she was more than a little surprised.

"What are you doing?" He glanced up at her voice, immediately breaking into a smile. "Hey," he greeted, adding with a little chuckle, "this was supposed to be a surprise."

She smirked. "You don't sound all that mad that I caught you."

"As if I ever could be." He put down the knife and leaned over for a smooch, only their lips touching since his hands were covered in who knew what.

"True." Her eyes roamed over everything that was spread all over the kitchen. "Now that I did catch you, though, you can answer me."

Hope laughed a bit, the sound tinged with nervousness. "It's silly." "Try me." He sighed and went back to his chopping. "One of my coworkers mentioned how her wife surprised her with this elaborate from-scratch dinner for their anniversary last weekend. The way she described it sounded really nice and I just..." He shrugged, his ears turning a bit red. "It just sounded like something nice I could do for you."

Lightning stared at him for a long moment before a little smile quirked the edges of her lips. She moved to stand next to Hope, gently bumping her hip against his. "You didn't have to go through the trouble." "I want to, though. I always like doing - shit!"

She jumped a little as the knife slipped, slicing along the side of Hope's hand. He immediately dropped it and turned on the faucet to run his hand under the water. When it still kept bleeding after a minute, Lightning took his non-injured hand and started tugging him towards the bathroom. "Come on. I'll bandage you up." Luckily, the cut wasn't deep enough to need stitches, so she made quick work of cleaning it and bandaging it up. Hope gave her a funny little smile the whole time, and when she was finally done, he chuckled a bit and said, "You didn't have to go through the trouble." She rolled her eyes a little at having her words thrown back at her. Two could play at that game. "I always like doing nice things for you." She squeezed his hand a little, glancing up at him through her bangs. "Got a problem with that?" "Not at all." He grinned and kissed the top of her head. "Lemme repay you with dinner now, hmm?" "Right." She let him tug her back to the kitchen, where he kissed her again before going back to his prep work. This was nice, she decided. There was something about watching him cook for them that sent a little flutter through her chest. And if dinner ended up being inedible, well, she was certainly nice enough to have a takeout menu at the ready.

i have to say this. y’all i know we like to have this idea of Lightning being dominant in bed but i am throwing a wrench in that shiT RIGHT NOW because lord knows i bet you she’s submissive in bed because she constantly has to take charge outside of it (y’all know what i mean) and being used to taking orders as a soldier and all i can see her falling under a DAMN SPELL with Hope especially if he goes all Director mode on her and knows this about her like, i can see her just loving allowing her mind to go quiet and letting Hope take charge (and we all know he is no stranger to that) do y’all see what i’m seeing!?

Wrote this snippet in a restaurant with friends.

"Um... Sir, you're missing a button..." 😏

Oh god, why did you have to point it out! His face was bright red, arms clammy as he spied a twinkle from his right.

Sitting at the teacher's desk he spied Ms. Farron; a smile on her face as she tried and submerse herself in a book. But he would catch the tiniest of rumbles shook her body. 😊

"Must've been a full on dog fight, eh, sir?" 😁

W-What was he supposed to say?! 😨

She was staring at him, her face full on red and why was she giggling to herself?! 🤭

A-Actually it was my cat-!" He corrected the student, "Her name is Fluffy she's kind of a fiesty cat." 😅

"Did you and her fight, sir?"

A lifeline! "We fight all the time!" 😃

Hard to believe a cat wears makeup and kisses like a human, sir." 😆

"Huh?" He utters dumbfounded. 😨

Looking to his right he saw Claire point towards her cheek. Oh crap! He was trying to defend his skewered look while Claire's lips was on full display.

"S-She loves eating cherries...?" That didn't sound as convincing as he liked, but oh well let's roll with it.

She must love something else long and hard, Teach?" 🤔

It's here where Claire not so subtly almost chokes on her spit. Eyes wide as her cheeks turn full blown red. And before they can ask more questions the bell rings for break giving both Hope and Claire a reprieve.

Saved by the bell." Phew" Thank god for bells! 🙏

"D-Do you think they bought it?" Hope asked, scratching his cheek.😅

"You and Claire got a cat?!"

Of course Serah would throw a wrench in his lies. 😭

Other Types of Bladers

Ok, so, random idea that has been floating around in my brain since I first started watching Beyblade: what if there are other types of bladers?

Like in Pokémon right? There are Coordinators, Performers, Trainers, and a ton of other specialties. Why not for Beyblade as well? Because at the current moment we only have Bladers and Mechanics.

While I know a majority of people would probably be regular Bladers, just like majority of people in Pokémon are regular Trainers, not everyone would be interested in the two current fields. And with beyblade being so wide spread and popular that they were able to fund a world championship and have a gigantic corporation that can actually impact global events, variations to the  beyblade we see are bound to pop up.

Purposed Types of Bladers

1. Regular Bladers (Battle): The type we see most in the show, they use beys to battle by combining their strength with the beys. 

2. Support Bladers (Mechanic): The type we see second most, they primarily focus their work on fixing and creating beys.

3. Performance Bladers (Showcase): A new type, these bladers work with their beys to create a visual performance like performers do in Pokémon.

4. Work-Force Bladers (Citizen): A new type, these bladers are just every day citizens who happen to have beys but instead of using them for performing or battling, use them to aid in their jobs.

5. Combination Bladers (Combo): A new type, these bladers technically fall into two of the above qualifications (think Tsubasa and Chris). There are occasionally special joint typing events like a battle showcase or a battle like competition within a regular non-blader job.

MFB!!!! Everyone is so so nice!! I grew up in this fandom and genuinely consider several people in it to be like family to me at this point. Seriously, some of the sweetest people on the planet and I absolutely love them. Also, I just genuinely love Beyblade so much. In particular, I really love making original beys!

Pokémon! I've always loved Pokémon, especially dark and ghost types. The bits of the fandom I've been in have been nice as well. I really enjoy making fan teams for non-pokémon characters too!

Sing!! Obviously, this is my Sing based blog so no one should be surprised by this addition. I've actually made several close friends through this fandom and I really enjoy being in it! I love being able to do scene analysis on the movies as well and creating backstories is tons of fun!

The Dragon Prince!!! Everyone I've talked to in this fandom has been so nice and welcoming. I love the differences in the different types of elves (looking forward to seeing Tidebound elves). I also love the world-building and it's really fun to build characters off of such a fleshed out world.

The Owl House!! Seriously super sweet people and super welcoming. I love the magic system and working with it a lot to apply it to non-owl house characters as well. It's super fun content and super interesting! It's super cool and easy to build character since there is so much information and world building, it's amazing!
