i feel like im going crazy i just saw a fun little tiktok about bnha and it was animated and the art style was cute and it was about the dekusquad except bakugo was a part of it???? and it wasn't like an au video or anything bakugo was just a part of the dekusquad??? and so i go to the comments thinking "oh someone's gonna call this out right? like in what world is bakugo part of the dekusquad" but!!! everyone in the comments was just agreeing with the poster??? top comment: i'm glad we all agree that bakugo is part of both squads.... no he isn't????? second comment: bakugo is the founding member of the dekusquad IN WHAT FUCKING WORLD????

Your answers seem objective so I'd like to know your opinion on who you think the writer will pair with Bakugo? Camie, Tsuyu or Toga (in case of redemption) or no one?

Ahhh good question! As of right now it looks like I’m leaning with no one since we haven’t really seen him growing any strong bonds or any solid friendships with any of the female characters

If I had to pick it seems to be that Horikoshi might pair Bakugou with Camie but then again the most we got out of their bond is Camie talking about how Bakugou would be better if he shuts up so I’m not sure where Horikoshi would take their dynamic if he plans to put them together. She’s the only girl out of the 3 of them that he actually had a connection with (despite it just being platonic) if Bakugou were to end up with her we will probably see Camie come back into the story and maybe future Deku would hint at it by saying “Lately kacchan and camie have been getting close.” as his way of hinting at its canonization.

As for Tsuyu I am aware that this pair is a rare one but they have a lack of interactions. I mean it wouldn’t be out of the blue if Hori decides to put him with Tsuyu and showcase their vastly different personilties clashing (and considering that Tsuyu is Ochaco’s best friend it wouldn’t suprised me if she got paired up In the end of the series). Tsuyu dosen’t seem to be hinted at being in a romantic relationship with anyone (probably out of the 3 girls mentioned she might be at the bottom in terms of who would be more likely to end up with Bakugou) I do hope that she gets more content tho. If we do get more Tsuyu content then the possibility of her and Bakugou getting together would be much higher as fans we would learn more about her character.

Hmm Toga now would be a very big twist considering that even I don’t know if a redemption arc is still on the table for her. If Hori does decide to redeem her character (which isn’t impossible since she is rather young) she’d probably build a bond with Ochaco and knowing how Toga “loves” Deku I could also see Hori transferring those feelings that she has and have her build a connection with Bakugou (what’s interesting about this is it would be a enemies to lovers trope and if done right it could be good). If this were to happen the Bakugou would be heavily involved in her redemption arc and these two would probably talk about the Kamino ward insident (knowing Katsuki he would hold this against her for awhile especially if Hori wanted to set up a romantic route for this pair)

As of for now I’m gonna say that Bakugou will probably stay single since he dosen’t seem to have any romantic endgame for him (the ones we have for sure are Kamijirou and Kirimina since the war arc solitified those ships.... I’m on the fence with Izuocha since it does have a lot of content but we kind of lacked it in the war arc for some reason..... as for todomomo it is starting to look like it won’t happen) Also if he was going to end up with someone we would have been getting hints on this from an earlier point of the story.
