I love how Ryan thought "What do I hate more than anything? Ghost hunting in scary places" and then he saw Shane and was like "that guy thinks ghosts are baloney and won't shut up about it" and then he.... decided to make a ghost hunting show with those ingredients

I love the way Ryan and Shane do ghost hunting, because they don’t take themselves too seriously and it has a goofy vibe, but they try to be as authentic as possible. like they openly say when they don’t find evidence rather than faking shit. and they never say “this is definitely evidence” or anything. other ghost shows could never. I think the sceptic/believer dynamic really helps this, and makes for some great comedy. (also so great that they can do this with their own company now)
