Adjustment periods can be difficult, job hunting even more so. But an unexpected visitor comes to provide a pleasant distraction. (Takes place after A Saltwater Room.) You x Sea Slug Moon

“Hello, sea star,” a voice spoke from your open bedroom window, causing you to nearly jump out of your skin.

You whipped around to see Moon climbing in through your window, his red eyes gleaming bright with delight and mischief. "Moon, you shouldn't be here," you muttered, hurriedly going to your bedroom door and closing it, locking it for good measure so no one came in unannounced. Your aunt said she'd be working late, and your cousin was staying the night elsewhere but... couldn't be too careful.

It had been several days since you'd been reunited with Moon and his siblings, Sun and Eclipse. Once you had believe them to be simple if not strange sea slugs that you had loved and lost years ago. Only to discover that in truth, they were some manner of mythical sea creature. Sea slugs, yet so much more than that. More than you could have ever guessed.

Honestly, you were still getting used to having them back in your life. It had been so long since you've seen them. They were so different, and you were different too. Time had chafed you, made you rough and tender around the edges. It didn't help that you were already going through an immense transition in your life. So suddenly having them back in your life... it was a lot.

"And yet, here I am," Moon giggled mischievously, leaning on the wall near the window.

The moonlight cast his shadow on the wall and reflected on his dazzling robes, the patterns of bio luminescence drawing your gaze with their mesmerizing beauty. His eyes were shining with amusement but he didn't look like he had any bad or malicious intentions.

His voice softened a margin. "Don't be mad... I just wanted to see you.”

The words cause an undeniable, split-second lift to your mood. When was the last time someone said those words to you? It felt like forever... "I'm not mad," you said quickly, wanting to reassure him in some form or fashion. You sat back down at your desk, with the newspaper classified ads spread out before you. "You guys just have a habit of showing up without warning. It can be..." What was a tactful way to put it? "...stressful."

The antennae on his hood twitched and drooped a bit. You didn't know it, but your words did make him feel a bit guilty. After all, he was known for sometimes being very intrusive and showing up unexpectedly, even when he's uninvited or at undesirable times. He took a step forward, leaning forward over your desk but not yet invading your personal space. Though by the look in his eyes it was on his mind.

"Well...we're family, right?" he said, as if that was enough of a justification for his actions. His head tilted to the side, his expression softening as his shoulders drooped a little. "Besides... aren't you happy to see me?"

You thought about that question. Which, yeah, wild that you even had to think about it. Most people would probably find it weird; shouldn't you be able to just.... know how you feel? Yet you had to pause, and reflect, and try and identify your mental state. And then you had to find the words to express it. It was like wading through static.

"I'm not unhappy," you said finally, looking at him sincerely. "And I'm not asking you to leave."

Moon was slightly taken back by your answer, but his eyes glimmered with amusement. "Well, that's a good start." He leaned a bit further on your desk, slowly closing the gap that was between you and him. "But you're not totally pleased by my presence either, are you? You're just tolerating it, is that right?" The corners of his lips curved upwards, as if he was daring you to try to lie.

"It's not that, it's just..." You bit your lip and glanced away from him, looking down at the multitude of jobs you'd either circled or crossed out. Such a simple task, yet for you it had been a monolith chore. "I just don't feel like I'm the greatest company right now."

He let his lips thin out, the smirk was replaced by concern. This wasn't the response he was hoping for. It might not be the worst that he could have heard, but it was not the best answer he could've gotten. His expression softened, his body became less imposing and he sat down on the bed beside your desk, gazing at you whilst taking care not to cross your personal space.

"Are you not feeling alright?" He asked earnestly, you could tell he was genuinely concerned for you and not just asking out of politeness.

Wasn't that a loaded question? But thankfully at least you had an immediate source of stress you could identify and voice.

"I need to find a job." You sighed, pinching bridge of your nose and squeezing your eyes shut for a moment. "I've been applying to various places but... I keep getting rejected."

It was tiring, and it was stressful, and it was such a soul sucking ordeal. Putting in the effort, waiting to hear back, only to be overlooked or declined. Not exactly a boon towards your self-esteem.

"Why do you need a job?" he asked curiously, head tilted to the side. He was still sitting near you, his legs crossed and hands resting in his lap. It was such an ordinary position but something about it made him seem even more approachable and calm. It was a stark contrast to his usual self that often seemed impish and playful.

"Because... I need to make money. I need to help out. I can't.... I can't be a waste of space." You voice broke over those last three words, like glass shattering against rocks. Tears burned your eyes as your anxiety swelled.

Moon's eyes widened in shock at your sudden breakdown, you looked... fragile and vulnerable, yet your words had an underlying tone of determination to them. You spoke as if you were ashamed and have to pay for simply existing in this world. His expression softened, he immediately reached out and grasped your hand. His skin was soft and cool, the texture far too smooth and alien to be human, yet it felt comforting.

"You're not a waste of space," he said in a quiet voice, his long fingers carefully lacing with yours. "Not to me. To me, you're... so much more than that."

Tears dripped down your face, and even though his words didn't completely calm your fears, they were until to keep you from getting pulled under by the riptide of anxiety. Moon's touch and genuine affection was like a life preserver keeping you afloat on rough waters. You were still getting tossed, but you weren't drowning.

"Thank you," you murmured, giving his hand a firm squeeze.

"Anytime," he answered, continuing to speak in that soft and gentle way. "And also..." He hesitated for a moment, but he looked at you. His gaze was sincere and genuine, like he wanted to say something but afraid of ruining the mood. "You can always come to me when you're feeling like this. I just... don't want you to be alone during these difficult times. Not again."

That managed to bring a small smile to your face, and you sniffled, wiping your tears with the sleeve of your jacket. "I'll keep that in mind, if I ever want to pal around with a troublemaker like you."

"Aww, troublemaker, huh?" He chuckled, a mischievous grin slowly spreading across his face as he squeezed your hand a bit. "A compliment from you? What a surprise. I feel honored."

A snort of mirth erupted from you and you had to grab some tissues to clear out your sinuses before you felt a little better. Moon shifted slightly in his seat, trying to get comfortable, though it's evident that all he wants to do is to get closer to you. He gave your hand a small tug, silently urging you to sit on the bed with him. You gave a heavy sigh but decided to let him pull you away from work to plop onto your mattress beside him.

"Wanna know a secret?" he asked, his antennae twitching restlessly.

"Oh, a secret?" you murmured, giving your voice an edge of conspiratorial playfulness. "Now I feel honored."

"It's about you." The glint in his eyes was impish and his smirk indicated that he was up to something. "But don't tell anyone, alright? Keep it between yourself and your old pal Moon."

"My lips are sealed." You drew your hand across your mouth like you were closing a zipper. "So, what's the secret?"

"The secret is..." He shifted his body closer to you - close but not too close- and you caught the scent of sea breeze and something sweet... like watermelons. His gaze sharpened on you, as if he was studying every small detail about your face.

His smile was still etched right across his features and you could practically feel his excitement building up. He took a deep breath as if he was about to tell you something that was forbidden. He whispered the words into your ear.

"You're beautiful." He had finally found a word that fit perfectly for what he wanted to say, and he just had to say it. His grin brightened up into a big smile, his gaze shifting from your eyes to your lips.

Your heart stuttered in your chest and suddenly heat was overwhelming your face like you'd just stepped out into the mid-afternoon sun. "O-Oh..."

Moon observed the effect his words had on you. Your blush, your fluttering heart beat, the way your breath seemed to come out all too lightly and quickly. He took note of all of them. His smile didn't falter, neither did his gaze. He took a risk, he was now closer to you, you could feel his robes brushing against your skin, gently caging you like the most lovely and velvety cage imaginable. His hand was still gripping yours as he stayed silent, letting the moment linger. He wanted you to experience it, to savor it and to feel it's warmth.

Your heart thumped loudly at the sudden proximity and you eased back just a little bit. Even after all these years, it seemed Moon was still a cuddly little guy... except he wasn't little anymore. And your perceptions of him were vastly different from how they were when you were younger.

"H-How have you been?" you asked. It was an attempt at regaining some control of the situation, yet it was also a question that had been on your mind every since you re-discovered them.

Despite the sudden change of subject Moon didn't seem to mind. He chuckled, his fingers still holding yours, his thumb tenderly brushing over your heated skin.

"I've been alright. Though..." His voice became quieter, and you had to concentrate a bit to hear it. "I've really missed you."

"I missed you too..."

A thousand apologies got stuck in your throat, choking off your next words. You'd had no idea that Moon and his brothers had been lingering so close to home. If you had, you would have come back sooner. Instead, you had stayed away, the bittersweet memories too painful to revisit. Yet another thing to pile onto your list of regrets.

He nodded and a brief flash of concern crossed his expression, as if he could sense the guilt in you. "You don't have to say it, I know." He smiled, a slight pity in it. This moment was no longer filled with light or laughter, it was heavy and full of regret.

"The past years... have definitely been hard on all of us," He finally said, breaking the silence that had settled between the two of you. "Especially to you."

You shook your head, already guilty that you'd managed to bring down a pleasant mood. "I'm fine. I've been... managing." That felt like such a lie. You didn't feel like you've been managing at all. "Really, I'm... I'm dealing with it. I'd much rather hear about you."

The fact that you tried to dismiss the conversation with a quick 'I'm fine...' made him feel even more pity for you. He noticed your reluctance to talk about it. You were still dealing with something and you weren't ready yet. You needed more time, and that was something he was aware of.

"Can I ask you something?" he asked, his voice softer, gentler than before. He looked at you, and you could see that he took your feelings more seriously.

"Of course," you said quickly, eager for a change of topic. Eager for something to distract you from the heavy weight that seemed to constantly be anchoring you.

He shifted his body again, his long legs now crossed over each other, his robes fanning out across the bed like a gleaming river or waterfall. His eyes scanned every part of your face as if searching for something. Finally, he took a deep breath, then spoke again.

"You know, I thought I'd find you so different. You had been gone for so long, I thought you were going to be..." He broke the silence again. "Different."

A burble of laughter erupted up. Though it was more of an expression of surprise than actual mirth. "You mean I'm not?"

"No... not really." He shifted once again, now leaning slightly closer, his eyebrows curling upwards with curiosity. "I think you're still you. I was expecting to see a complete stranger here. But you're still you. Everything that I remembered is still there. You're still adorable, you're still kind, and you're still so very warm." He smirked, his gaze was now intense as he stared at you closely. "Are you still ticklish, though?"

Your eyes widened and before you could react Moon pounced. You feel back on the bed, squirming as Moon began tickling you. "Moon! Moon! Stop! I can't... Noooooooo!" You screeched between fits of laughter as you kicked and squirmed.

Moon laughed, amused by the sight. He began to tickle you ruthlessly, his fingers quickly exploring every inch of your stomach, sides, and even underneath your arms. His laughter became so intense that he almost couldn't breathe. "I've missed doing this to you so much, little crab," he confessed between giggles. "And I missed the noises you make."

He eased up a bit and you had a moment to catch your breath, wheezing and giggling as you stare up at him. You were entirely sure what he meant. Was he referring to the times when you would take him out of his tank and let him crawl along your arms and neck? That had to be it.

"You are such a gremlin," you muttered, but the comment was said with affection. A lot had changed but... it seemed Moon wasn't all that different either.

"The cutest gremlin you'll ever meet," he replied, his voice dripping with mischief.

Moon leaned down towards your face, his hands still on your stomach as he gave you a big smile. He giggled with you, both of you were red in the face from laughing and from being tickled, and yet the two of you seemed so happy at that moment. He shifted slightly, trying to get a bit closer to you, his hands gently moving to your legs.

He leaned down, his face close to yours. "You know what I miss the most?"

The mood seemed to suddenly shift, and like the lurch of a car turning too quickly, you found yourself a little unsteady as you stared up at him. "Wh-what?" you spluttered out.

"Your scent," he said, his voice was very quiet and calm. He had moved even closer, he was breathing out in hot puffs on your face, and you could see his chest rising and falling. His gaze went down as he looked at you, his hands were still firmly on your legs, but he had made no sudden movements.

“Your taste.” Once again, one of his hands found yours, effortlessly threading them together as though that were their natural state. There was a calmness in the still, the air was heavier, a bit more intense, but not in a bad way. His voice was very soft and sincere, almost as if he was trying to tell you something.

"And your kisses," he finally said. This moment was finally ripe, it gave him the chance to see if you were still open to the idea. He was now even closer to you. His gaze pierced through yours, as if looking for an answer in them.

Staring up at him, you found yourself at a loss for words. He couldn't possibly mean what you were thinking, right? Sure, you used to kiss him. But he'd been just a little slug you could hold in the palm of your hand. But now he was... he was... what?

Before you could say or do anything, a stream of water shot across the room and hit Moon in the face, splashing against his cheek. You jumped as Moon hissed in surprise. The both of you looked around to see his brother, Sun, standing in your room with a squirt bottle in his hand and a far too wide smile on his face. To be continued...

I hate when people slap the 'simp' card on anyone who likes the character. Repulsed aroace here, I am not a simp. We aren't calling Lunar's fans his simps, or Sun's, or Moon's, so why Eclipse? Or Ruin. Or Earth. Or literally anyone but Eclipse. (Solar is an Eclipse, he is looped in just as much here.)

Same anon with that whole "bit" thing. As a fellow Solar simp, your feelings are totally valid. Solar even had to repeatedly say "He was literally going to kill me" regarding the Monty from his dimension. Honestly, the only lighthearted question in that entire podcast was "how do you feel about coffee?" And probably the whole bald thing.

But can I just say that when I heard Solar say that he learned the toxic masculinity from the Barbie movie, I am 100% sure that Earth got him to watch with her because I don't think he would watch it otherwise on his own. And it made me think of how underappreciated the fact that Earth has a really good influence on Sun, Moon, Lunar, and Solar with regards to, you know, the experiences of women, patriarchy, and such. I might sound stupid right now and I know there are people who will eye-roll this but I believe Earth being unapologetically feminine in a "household" full of men is a great thing.

The other lighthearted question was about anime, but that was fairly ruined.

Puppet could have had an anime buddy and blew it cus of Monty.

(and my 15 year old self is just crying cus Solar doesn't like naruto. ;w; But also as a naruto fan... Like... I GET IT.. I totally get it)

But yeah. Solar's whole podcast felt like an interrogation, at least compared to the others. So I wouldn't be too shocked if Monty just hates Solar's guts off the grounds that he's an Eclipse.

And yeah, he mostly watched the Barbie Movie with Earth. Like Earth has literally made everyone watch the Barbie movies with her. (long term hyperfixations for the win)

And yes, I like that Earth is unapologetically feminine. It's one of her best features! I honestly think that by Solar's definition, that would define Old Moon as Toxically Masculine as well in a way. Since he insisted on doing things on his own and he had to be the one to "save" his brother. Moon had to be the strong and smart one, Sun had to be the dumb and happy one to keep him happy.

And Old Moon I don't think did that maliciously. (maybe sometimes) but I do think he genuinely loved Sun.

Earth has really been a positive influence on Sun when he was greiving, Moon, as he was just coming into himself as a new person, and Lunar who revived from the dead. Earth was also very helpful in making Solar feel welcomed in this dimension. (so fuck off Monty really. Your GF likes Solar here.)

Sun and Moon properly communicating with eachother, and Sun actually having a lot better coping mechanisms are a direct result of Earth's influence.

Sun is even healthy to the point out in Castor faults in himself and then direct those coping techniques he learned outwards to help other people.

And that is 100% due to Earth's influence, empathy and femineity.

Earth is great honestly.

Uhm uhm first off, thank you so much I can't rlly put into words how sweet this is and I totally don't mind the rambles because me too. And also because its been YEARS since I last used Tumblr or did anything answering Ask is a bit tough for me.. MmMM

Although I don't have many HC at the moment.. I can however give you a little insight I have regarding my Human DCA :]

Moondrop (Moon) and Sundrop

- when I first designed Moon (after the game came out) he had a much wilder look to him, especially the face because I was really into the idea of him being simply insane hence the red.

- later when i got back to his design and adding colours I thought that it would be fun to make it Blue and white themed, which I actually didn't see a lot back then

- he wasn't supposed to look human even as a Humanoid, I liked to think that Sun & Moon simply had a renovated body. They are just as much Animatronics as they had always been, robotic parts and everything but with a bit of twist

- So then onto Sun.. the thing is its sad to say but I never explored much with Sun's design back then as much as I did with Moon, so I can't provide a good reference

- although I had a rough idea of how sun would look like I never quite liked the way I drew him, so he's always somewhat been stuck in this unfinished stage

- Then there was eclipse, who was my absolute FAVORITE at that time, I don't think I loved a character MORE THAN ECLIPSE EVER when I was drawing him out

- yes!! It was very much inspired by the 3D render shown here as the ref, though I did make some changes of my own to the design as well

- I had a lot in my head when I was drawing him, but the one thing that I loved most about this design still to thisq day is rhe face. The way I him to look back then was sort of a mix between my Sun and Moon designs, only leaning more towards Sun in colours and Moon in appearance with the crazed look in his eyes

The height was just a funny little thing I thought of, cuz imagine this giant fkn ahh robot just comes in here and picks you up 💀 god I would piss myself

Cough..

So in regards to the new design, I did kind of get rid of the animatronic feel to him that I had done with the DCA and his old design, all of them now look a whole lot more Human which is what I intended for

Eclipse has a few scars around his body; right forearm, left side of his torso that leads all the way up to his chest. Plus a bit of his face that is burnt which you can't exactly see because of the Black spots

Overall I like my newer designs quite a lot and has also changed a lot, this is probably the most insight you'll get out of me abt my art 😭😭 cuz I don't usually ramble this much otherwise

I might come up with some head canons at a later date, but they'll be fun thats for sure ;)

what would sun and moon do after getting the reader back from eclipse? once he is done and walked away like the boss that he is.

The reader must be dazed out and blushing after what just happened, because I would be blushing hard since I am such a simp for eclipse 😭😩🌚

If he's not busy at that exact moment, then Sun would be fast walking right on over and asking if reader is ok and looking them over as subtle as he can. (Don't want to be too suspicious why he's singling out this one particular person all of a sudden.) If he is busy then as soon as he's free he's hunting Y/N down and making sure everything is ok.

Moon unfortunately would be stuck behind the bar the whole time so he'd have to wait until reader or Sun comes over to ask if they're ok.

Reader is gonna be a little dazed for sure and need a moment afterwards. 😂 Eclipse has no intentions of catering to reader's need to actually breathe or if it's too rough for them. He very much takes what he wants without consideration.

He just doesn't most of the time because it's helpful and Sun isn't really affected by it. However, the mostly part is still there, so you're gonna get HELLA good sleep after smooching this dude.

Did I also mention he'd totally hide the two of your faces with his petals whenever you kiss??? Did I did I?? It's just the two of you in those moments, nobody else.

THE BOYS ARE JUST SIMPLE BECAUSE I HATE COMPLEX CHARACTER DESIGNS WITH A PASSION LMAO, IT'S FOR THE REDRAWABILITY and I have no idea how I did those colour palettes but I agree they do look really good (even though sun gets called eclipse sometimes heh)

I draw sleeves the way I do because it's just a simplified version of the way loose sleeves tend to fold (and I draw loose sleeves much more than I should) plus I've just stared at a lot of artists that do that over the years

Since we are celebrating the first anniversary of Nu:Carnival, here's to you a completely ot list of my five favorite h-scenes of the game.

I started two days after launch and in this long year I've grinded 200 rooms with the strength of a thousand suns and a lot of patience, so here's my rambling about this crappy game that makes me cry at every cliché put up like I've never seen one in my life <3

5) Quincy Forest Guardian Room 5

I know, all the SR h-scenes are a bit cringeworthy, both in length and in how they are written, and it was only by re-watching them that I actually realized how much they have improved over time.

Anyway, this one is hands down my favorite because I love how super soft Quincy is with Eiden despite how at first impression it may seem otherwise. In general all of Quincy's rooms are super wholesome, even those of Eclipse event, but here a little bit of the atmosphere, a little bit of the location, make it even more intimate.

By the way, being precisely among the first scenes, compared to all the other members you really notice the difference.

((Then excuse me but Quincy is an absurd simp for Eiden, like, he keeps going along with any of his shit without blinking from the second zero?? iconic))

4) Edmond Sweet Aroma Room 2 || Kuya Kitsune Dream Room 5

I KNOW There are supposed to be only one scene for point, but I am weak and indecisive so I put both💀

Let's start with Edmond, I'm going to put my hands up and say that all the rooms in this event have emotionally destroyed me, BUT!

This scene because a) it finally removed the Hamletic doubt we all had about Edmond whether his nipples were really inverted and not just a collective mass hallucination and b) because it is like Room 2 of White Lover (Valentine's Day event) but better. Edmond is a tsundere and so far we all know that, but this was actually the event where he embraced his bottom being and seeing him so surrendered in Eiden's arms behind some trees... Yes.

Usually room 2 of events don't say much to me made a few exceptions (COFF KUYA COFFCOFF DANTE COFFCOFF YAKUMO AT HALLOWEEN) But here I swear to you the first time I saw it I gasped so hard I had to watch it a second time instantly to make an indecent amount of screens, and flood my friends' memory with endless spam on WhatsApp.

Kuya, on the other hand, there is only one thing that makes me love this room madly namely: the moment when Eiden asks him if he can take off his glasses because he wants to look at his face, and he goes along with it by doing so🥺

It's a single gesture, but the very fact that he listened to him instead of continuing to fuck him against the wall>>>>

I really liked Kuya in this event even though he was still an unqualified asshole; but he has his own traumas about abandonment and stuff so we forgive him. By the way those glasses in his skin keep killing me, it was like the last thing I expected and I don't know if I love the fact that they look so good on him, or the endless amount of memes that resulted then LMAO

(( Also bonus because Eiden is adorable in this event and in this scene in particular <3))

3) Dante Icy Equilibrium Room 5

Dante is like my biggest ??? within this game ahahaha, I like his design a lot but at the moment I'm still not too fond of him.

BUT HERE MY GUYS Apart from the fact that I LOVE the skin of this event despite the dubious gravity with which the coat is on his shoulders; for the first time his rooms are not just endless scenes of him fight with Eiden every second to prove that he's the best like children, but I really felt a little more depth, and the fact that there was the first kiss between the two of them AAAAAH turned the whole thing around because it went to a search for even emotional intimacy if you can call it that. The whole part where Eiden drags him into the room, and he laughs as he loosens his hair, and he teases him because that's his first kiss and Dante is pretty much as inexperienced as Edmond even though he doesn't look>>>>

I was moved. It was beautiful and I'm glad that Dante is slowly overcoming this terrible wall of arrogance to mask his weaknesses!

Then, really, he is super cute in this event so easy win in my heart.

2) Kuya Afternoon Daze Room 5

Okay guys, Kuya again because this old shit attends to any form of control I have and makes me cry as if I were five years old and seeing The Lion King for the first time.

Anyway, honorable mention to the walking stick, rightly so after glasses for eyesight, the arthritis stick is also important. It cracks me up that until now he has literally been an old man watching others sweat and bust their asses to organize the tea party LMAO

Rush this room unseemly, obviously , and everything I would have expected, EVERYTHING, given even the premise of Room 2, was not what I actually read.

GUYS This room is 18 minutes of Eiden trying to make out with Kuya with all the force in the world. That is, his only goal is to stick his tongue in the old fox's mouth, and Kuya goes along with him only to push him away half-impressed/scared when he realizes he's enjoying it a little too much. Kuya be like "ehww what's that, feelings??"

Kuya completely wasted after this event, I'M WHEEZING; By the way the way he looks at Eiden is illegal, it gave me goosebumps!!! Oh, and of course after breaking out dick all last event blabla young master you can't hug me blabla NOW not only is Eiden all over him with his legs folded in the worst weave ever that not even playing tetris, but while kissing him he's holding him so close and even running his hands through his hair.

I will keep screaming until the end of time, I tell you.

1) Edmond Sweet Aroma Room 5

So. At this point no one is surprised probably ahahah but I think I will never recover from this room.

Months later it remains the high point of my experience on Nu:Carnival, and not only because Edmond's skin literally generated panic for a week as soon as they revealed the artwork, but also because it kicks off what I like to call the "kissing revolution"

Before this room, this event, there were very few onscreen kisses, maybe like two? One with Olivine and maybe one from Quincy; the rest a few scattered among various rooms of R cards like Kuya or of course Blade's treacherous smoochies. Which was consistent with the fact that IN THEORY this is a porn game, no one cares about context more than the BL. IN PRACTICE after 8 months and three rollercoaster events of excitement, the devs started to make EVERYONE kiss. Guys, there has been the hard lemon fair from August to December: Quincy, Olivine, Dante, now Kuya; resulting in a deepening of the clan member and their stories, and this gives me so much joy every time I think back on it.

ANYWAY BACK TO US.

Edmond in this Room getting his hair untied and slammed against a tree ( what can I say but YES) but most importantly letting Eiden kiss him after he practically confessed that he never did it and didn't understand the point of it because he was forced to be repressed all his life that he never desired intimacy with anyone.

And I was already in tears here, but what destroyed me were the last three minutes when Eiden and Edmond are talking and Eiden at one point takes Edmond's face in his hands, looks at him, and leaves kisses on his eyelids, cheeks, nose, and mouth. And Edmond looks at him and says nothing AND I SWEAR, I SWEAR I felt in my heart, in my bones the realization that he had in that moment. An awakening, an endless gay panic and I closed that screen with the knowledge that Edmond had just become my fave boy and that I would probably sell a kidney to pull all his banners.

Well, this endless rambling has come to an end!!! Honestly, I still have so much more to say but I will contain myself for this time; see you next year with the updated version which honestly, if I already have to reduce myself like this at the first banner it will all be a mess, I can already feel it.

[FNAF Ruin Spoilers]

And my theories...

So, uh, I finish the DLC ( I have taken my time as I am easily scared and usually I don't play Horro Game tho : I watch them on stream ahah)

But so : I got a normal ending, I cried for Sun, I was bad for Moon too of course and I really simp for Eclipse now (this-voice-please, Kellen does such a great job again on these boys)

I was really disappointed to haven't been able to spare Roxy (I am still sure that we can, as I am sure that there is moooore than 4 endings...This gentle rabbit isn't forced to be erased I am sure of it 🥹)

I love Cassie for her understanding with the animatronics and her ability to stay that calm ! (Such a sweet girl with Chica, Sun/Moon and Roxie...I can't handle her cries when she needs to get her fav Glamrock put down...)

To me, there will be a next part (second DLC, Security Breach 2 ooooor the end will be on Help Wanted 2 ! ) and I can't wait for that

I mostly hope, even if I think it's not possible, that Eclipse and Roxy will be saved in the next part...Because Freddy is indeed out of the plex now and these two sweetheart deserve to discover a normal life too !

For the moment I think that Cassie is alive as I heard Roxie calling for her : she will probably be saved and protect by the wolf and...

I need to add that as I saw the other endings, and there I am asking myself something : in the ending where you finish with the image of Gregory, Freddy and Vanessa...Am I the only one who was triggered to hear the Daycare theme????

LIKE, PLEEAAAASE : did Cassie was saved in any way and bring to Eclipse to patch her up?? (He must know how to, logic)

I know the whole "bit" of their podcast is roasting people but Mmm, nuh-uh, I don't like what Monty was saying to Solar. I think you summed it up pretty well with the whole projecting thing.

About the coffee, I got way too happy that Solar confirmed that he drinks coffee because I have been stuck drawing a fanart of him and my overthinking ass is questioning whether he prefers coffee or tea.

I am also happily imagining that Earth invited Solar and Lunar to watch the Barbie movie with her, and that's how Solar learned about the toxic masculinity thing

I know. It was pretty painful to watch, and I don't think I'm wrong in my assessment that Monty straight up hates Solar's guts.

I hope Solar will get his revenge on Monty for this, cause all of the questions in this one seemed downright cruel.

They took it easy with Earth (obviously) but Lunar, Sun, Moon just felt like playful ragging. Ruin was a bit different, cause they genuinely didn't know him, so it just felt like brining up "hey you were evil, remember that? make you mad?"

Solar's interview just felt cruel compared to the others... maybe I'm just too much of a Solar simp but I feel like none of the questions were even neutral. All the question felt like they were made to antagonize him.

I'm glad that Solar is an avid Coffee drinker. I'm glad at least one of the family considers themselves bio-organic enough to eat. (I think Moon does too sometimes. He has his bolts and eats when he feels like it, but far less then Lunar and Earth)

And Yeah! Solar definitely watched the Barbie Movie with Earth. Now watch Eclipse ask for help when he realizes the Patriarchy isn't about horses.

Solar literally said that he is stronger working together with Moon, and Eclipse is toxic because he has no one and refuses help from anyone and sees it as a weakness, and he's not wrong.

Oh, I see, I see! So it takes him a while but decides to listen to them, even if there have already been problems between them. That makes me wonder how he would react if he could know about the him in the main Sleuth Jesters story. Like if he met the detectives from that universe post the finale. After all confusion and shenanigans they get to talk about their own versions of the story and he could see what he could have become. Because on one hand, super powerful Mafia boss that has the city under his thumb. Nearly full control! On the other hand, he would have basically lost Sun and Moon, become an actual monster, never earn the vigilante's trust, actually shoot Sun! And then die because of it. And perhaps mafia boss Eclipse isn't able to see the aftermath, but this Eclipse gets to see his (not actual) brothers looking at him probably disbelieving, both full of regret and grief and like they want to tell him so much but those words aren't really for him. That version is already dead. Would he try to say something to them? Would he try to convince them that if that Eclipse really started out like him he still cared for them deeply? Would he be able to say it out loud? And what of the detectives? Seeing him there, being able to have an honest conversation that doesn't end with a fight. And yet knowing it's not their Eclipse. (Ah.. I realize most of my questions are about Eclipse. Maybe I AM an Eclipse simp as well dgdhfjgkdh. But on that note I'm so close to finishing this art for you, it should be done between today and tomorrow! )

It's okay, the simpery is infectious ♥ (Also I adored your art!! It made my day ♥)

Bounty Hunter!Eclipse confronting the worst version of himself and the fiery aftermath would be... a lot for him, to say the least. He's briefly in awe that this Eclipse did almost take over the city (which is still a dream of his but he's kept it under wraps for his brother's sakes) but seeing his brothers, still detectives but now, a little more wise and worn, strikes a cord within him. He doesn't show it, but Bounty Hunter!Eclipse would see this and not want it. He doesn't have the best relationship with his brothers already, but for it to end—for him to end like this... He won't allow that.

If anything, this would spur Bounty Hunter!Eclipse to try harder to mend his brotherly bonds.

I think Eclipse would say, once he learned of who the celestial wire in Sun's chest belongs to, that yes, their brother still cared, even unto the end.

The detectives of the standard story are looking at a ghost. They could talk, but it would be hard for Sun and Moon because now they're well aware of all the things left unsaid but... they still don't get to say it to their Eclipse, just a version of him that was slightly better than what happened to their brother. So, I think they'd just ask a few things, like, what they could have done better to keep him home. Eclipse doesn't have all the answers, or at least, any pleasant ones.

Sometimes you can't save someone who doesn't want to be saved.

(Sun and Moon Show spoilers) Okay first of all. Earth is 100% Autistic like Lunar. She takes things at face value and generally head empty, very slow. Super smart as well. Though Idk how to really fully feel on Earth. She seems okayish as a character. At first I was concerned that they were doing the dumb girl trope but then later learned that, thankfully, wasn’t the case. Still very iffy on her character as a whole. I kinda want her to be sassy but she seems really reserved but that could just be her Autism. (I am very happy for the VAs having a extra hand now for the show, takes stress off of the two’s back now that she’s here. Warm welcome to the cast btw!!) Seeing Simp Monty was funny as fuck. That was great! Had me and my 2 other friends laughing the whole time. For such a bad reception at the start of hearing Earth was going to be a character this was a great way to combat that. Good job to the VAs. Though I do share the same concerns as NovaRays. I’m praying they didn’t replace Bloodmoon with Earth. I love and adore the twins and wouldn’t want them to get this treatment. My only hope is they either come back or come back via the death of Earth. (Crying at how I need to figure out a proper design for her now. Though I’ve been needing to make a proper design for Nice Eclipse as well so they’ll be put on the same page)

Secret Santa Cheat Sheet

OK so I realized the secret santa intro post I made turned into a nightmare of incomprehensible rambling. Stating now that I do honestly love like, all content with them so anything is good if none of these ideas feel right for you, my beloved santa of secrets <3

Broad Ideas~

-Soft DCA, solo, with each other, with the kids, with YN, just. Soft uwu

-Unhinged. I love the 'about to snap' looks, the 'ive just committed a warcrime' energy, and the 'someone is actively getting redacted' action stuff.

-Hurt/Comfort, either direction, doesn't need to be canon for an AU, I'm just weak for hurt/comfort.

-Surprise moments of trust. Stuff where one is just kinda surprised by the other, the hand is 'offered' for the first time, or the offered hand is 'accepted' for the first time, literal or metaphorical.

-Spicy Humor XD I cackle whenever I see it, and I am not shy to the spice at all, but dirty jokes with the DCA absolutely send me.

Specific Ideas~

-Story time with Sun/Moon, high energy or soft and quiet, maybe the kids are around and totally engaged, maybe it's just them and a YN they're trying to get to take a nap as well, maybe there's no book and they're making it up on the go with a broad motion to demonstrate the ~adventure~ (I love this idea and there's so much that can be done with it)

-DCA being a little shit at children's games vs YN. They aren't going easy on them. At all. Impossible angles in twister, definitely not cheating at cards, ruining friendships with connect four, YN absolutely devastated/aggravated/exasperated at the fact they haven't won a single game in ages.

-Hide and Seek/Tag. With Sun it could be fun and cute. With Moon it's a race for YNs life.

-Gremlin Moon. Contortionist Moon. Impossibly bendy flexible Moon. (ALTERNATELY SAME POSES BUT FOR SUN cause we don't get enough bendy Sun)

-Romantic flirty stuff with DCA/YN shenanigans, cause I'm a simp.

-Semi-canon reveal shot of Eclipse for the first time. A YN pov thing, where the two have 'done the thing' and now they're staring at a third version of the DCA, and it's looking back at them. Was it an emergency situation that brought this on? A warring of the two boys that split control? A third presence that forced it's way out? Did the glitch from Balloon World take over? Did they agree to bring him out as a surprise? I know I said specific but hhh there's just so many ways to go with Eclipse.

AU Specific Ideas~

-Sea Creatures/Mer - art one probably- YN in the water with the first meeting of Sun and/or Moon, just that 'hovering under the surface' vibe with them eyeing each other warily.

-SC/M - One of the boys trying to snag a bite of whatever YN brought for lunch. Whether they win or lose is up to you.

-SC/M - Eclipse with one of his pups, a teeny fluffy thing, him content floating on his back with the little one on his chest, or him sitting menacingly on dry land staring snarly at the viewer while the little thing plays on him/under and around his arms.

-Hands On Experience - Sun walking around with YN on day one, hands under their arms like a wet kitten, or with YN balanced on their hip like a child lmao. This happens more than once in my mind, and YN might be ok with it, or they might be gently annoyed by it but he still gets away with stuff like this too much lol.

-HOE - Back rub time after a long day with unruly children.

-HOE - Nap time on Sun while he's petting YNs hair. (this one would prob be more art? but I'm down for more sleepy time drabbles <3)

-HOE - YN cleaning crayon and marker scribbles off Sun after a rough arts and crafts session.

-Doordash AU -silly art one - DECK THEM OUT IN THE DOORDASH SHIRT/VISOR lmao. Basically just Red shirt with the doordash logo, black Visor with the doordash D on it XD

-Forgotten But Not Gone - Fully feral moon chase through the abandoned daycare. It's not big so it would be a quick run if they don't get caught. Nonverbal Moon, terrified YN. Close calls are fun uwu.

-FBNG - DCA won't let go of YN, like a hand on the wrist, tight or not, just. Clingy. Is YN trying to casually go home and they want them to stay? Is YN just vibing and letting them have the contact? Was YN trying to run away?

-Sometimes It's Worth The Risk- BAD FLIRTING FROM YN at Sun/Moon. Just. Bad pickup lines. Awful flirting tactics. The fluster and shock of being flirted back with and losing their cool entirely. The 'OH NO HE'S HOT' reaction mentality. They're just one dumb idiot that's got the butterflies for the robot lmao.
