Idk if you’ve posted this already or not bc I’m small brain, but how the fuck did Zazz manage to get herself tangled up with divine goat power?

i have mentioned it before but i will elaborate. im still figuring this out so it might change

tinky thinks it would be fucking hilarious to yeet some prehistoric humans a few thousand years into the future, so he plants a rift in the spacetime continum in a particularly interesting cave and waits for shit to go down. it doesnt take long.

putting in a cut here because suprise suprise i wrote a damn lot

jemilla and zazzalil’s adopted son, fisher, is maybe around 10 years old at this point (i havent decided, i know nothing about kids) and theyre taking him to the cave where the tribe used to live to show him the cavepaintings theyve done there that depict the tribes history. havent decided wether its the first time its been there or not. but they notice that there are more images in there then they remember and they cant quite work out what the newest ones are supposed to be. curious and confused, they wander deeper into the cave looking at these images and wondering wether someone put them there as a joke. the images are almost like a timeline, depicting more and more modern things as they get deeper. when they reach the 21st century images one of them remarks that they couldve sworn that the cave was never this deep, and they realise how far theyve walked.

so they turn around and start heading back out of the cave, but as they walk they notice that the images are getting more and more faded. when they finally reach the images theyre familiar with theyre barely visible. what used to be a plain outside is now a forest. theyre in the depths of the witchwood in modern-day hatchetfield

they wander through the forest for a while, eventually exiting the forest and seeing the edge of the town. it scares them since they have no idea whats happened so they go back into the trees and thats when they see tinky. he stands there laughing, explaining what hes done as if its some elaborate joke, and hands fisher the bastards’ box before dissapearing (i know its the bastard’s box in nt but since theres 3 of them here im using bastards’)

jemilla takes the box off of fisher immediately because an artifact from a dark god is not something you really want your young son playing with. both her and zaz fiddle around with it a bit, and zazzalil comes up with the hypothesis that if they solve this puzzle tinky will let them go back home. she spends a lot of her time fiddling with it, but eventually manages to figure out how to use it to access powers (im not 100% on how that works yet). thats when she starts growing horns. jemilla experiments with it too, so she has very small horns that are barely noticable under her hair most of the time. they both recognise that this is dangerous, but zaz reasons that theres no point both of them exposing themselves to it and since shes the one whos fiddled with the box more and knows more about how it works she says she’ll be the one to experiment further. and thats how she starts the deterioration i got into when i explained her dynamic with tinky
