Logically I knew Victor wouldn’t reappear in this episode but I still hoped Victor would reappear in this episode

Shelley Hoskins drawing!!
It’s the first time I’ve drawn her but today I really really wanted to draw her (let’s forget it’s 3am)
I may or may not have calculated her age while I was in the bus today (brainrot always) jfjfjf I guess she was born either in 1980 or 1981 so she is either 39 or 40 😭👌
And here’s a quick rendition of how I would see her but I think a character sheet with more clothes would be more helpful but I’m in my portrait era hdjdjd (but I do see her with glasses and like intricate necklaces and random very mom like stuff if that makes sense? And bleached hair but you still can see her brown roots as she might have not bleached them again in a while)

does anyone want to make like a petition or something for thomas to donate at least part of the ad revenue on his sorting video to a trans charity? or at least put some kind of disclaimer in the video or in the description stating that he doesn’t support jkr, and maybe link some resources and/or charities to encourage donations? idk, it just sits weirdly with me that, upon checking the video a minute ago, there’s no alterations to how it was originally posted to address the bigotry of that franchise.
(especially considering he bought a bunch of merch for the video, which he makes a joke about, potentially encouraging his viewers to sort & buy merch for their houses as well)

If you follow @monstrousagonies , you may know the anon who just finished season one. Well that's me and I, while listening to season 2, doodled what I imagine The Presenter to look like!
Click for better detail!
ID under cut!
[ID:
It is a page of traditional drawings of The Presenter from Monstrous Agonies.
On the left of the page, The Presenter stands facing the viewer. They wear black dress pants, a white dress shirt, and have an overcoat draped over their shoulders. Their hair is dark and cloud-like and their pants fade to similar cloud-like-ness.
On the top right of the page, we see The Presenters hands. They are pitch black and have cloud-like strands coming off of them. They are holding the second letter from Episode 4.
Underneath the hands is The Presenter's face. They have white eyes and a featureless face. Their hair is cloud-like.
In the bottom middle of the page, is The Presenter's hand holding a microphone.
To the right of the microphone-holding hand is the words "The Presenter" and "Monstrous Agonies".
To the right of The Presenter standing and above their face is the artist's signature: heres.someart

Talking about later WC events with my best friend (who's only recently reading the books after mostly watching the fan animations) is so fucking funny. Last night we were kinda bouncing from topic to topic before he brought up Moth Flight and how he really hated her from my account of her story (I also hate her lol) and as a bit he was like "I know Warriors isn't THAT magical and this would be a bit much, but I wish the cats could time travel. That way they could go back in time and reverse card Moth Flight and throw her in the Dark Forest so they'll get rid of her horrible rule and keep cats like Leafpool from suffering ever again". And then he saw my face and he was like "wait are you serious"

I'm a bit bummed there will only be 3 seasons of Midst Podcast, because it's so good. But I do like that we will get a completed story, and the narrators get to end it how they wish.

tbh out of all the productions I genuinely hope Tales from the Stinky Dragon can still continue because it is one of my favourite D&D-related podcasts I ever listened to

to this day i think one of the best writing decisions the magnus archives made was making it explicitly clear that your bloodline made little to no difference to whether you would develop any kind of connection to the entities and their powers. even so-called "avatar families" either had to produce multiple heirs in the hope that at least one would be inclined to continue their work (like the lukases) or end up with imperfect messiahs despite all their efforts (like the cult of the lightless flame), and in most cases being born into that life only made you more at risk of ultimately rejecting and/or being consumed by it. there was no direct runs-in-the-family line of succession ending in the perfect chosen one. even generations' worth of preparation and legacy-building could be brought to an end by a single act of defiance or doubt. it's the perfect theme for a podcast all about choices and their consequences.
